 "Where the morning sun smiles upon the waters."
Due east from Slateport City's ports out miles from the main land is a small, very tight archipelago of islands known as Pacifidlog Town. This series of islands, unlike other archipelagos, are so close together that they are connected by a series of floating log bridges across the water. The people that live here are very water savvy and love the open ocean, as well as the Pokemon that live there, especially Corsola since just beneath the series of islands an entire colony of the coral Pokemon can be found. These people spend many of their days diving and fishing as part of their lifestyle and work as their ancestors are said to have been born and died on boats well before coming to the small series of islands. According to legends, it is said the people of Pacifidlog were searching for something in living on these boats, but no one is for certain.
{Ruben Korin || Tough Contest Leader (Click)} Ruben is a self-proclaimed pirate. While he loves being on his boat, and has sailed all around the world, he has never pillaged a village, never hijacked a fleet, never even had a buried treasure. But he's a pirate all the same. Just for looks he wears his eyepatch, so it has a tendency to swap eyes sometimes, depending on his mood. He's boisterous and outgoing, and loves being out on the beach. He's quite tan because of this. However, he does stand being indoors for the sake of contests. His goal is to gather a pirate crew and show off in front of the ninja's of Kanto, but it doesn't look like that goal is anywhere near completion. His only loyal minions are his Pokemon, whom he trusts with his life on those long voyages he takes in between contest challenges. He strives to bring every bit of macho might out from his Pokemon, and, as such, reigns as Hoenn's Tough contest leader. They made it, but just barely. It started to rain about a minute before they landed on the wooden planks leading up to the Pokemon Center. Kira hastily recalled Charizard and Salamence into their Pokeballs, then Kira and Lucy raced into the Pokemon Center seconds before the skies opened up and unleashed a torrential downpour on them. The Nurse brought them out a couple of towels, and while they were drying off the Nurse stamped Kira's booklet.
Goodness, you guys made it just in time!" She said, smiling sympathetically at them. "It doesn't look like you will be able to go anywhere for a little while." Kira sighed, looking out the window and realizing that she was right. "I'l be happy to get you a room if you want?" Kira nodded. She went and got a keycard for Kira to access her booked room for the night. Then they went upstairs and locked themselves in the room. It was early yet, but Kira was tired and decided to call it a night early.

Elfana Aroway The fact that there was little to nothing left for her to look at was as good a sign as any that she had reached the end of the region. There was little in Pacifidlog Town that held her attention. As a result she ended up nearly going into the water at several points while trying to get across the log bridges because she stopped paying attention to where she was. She was too busy planning out what she was going to do with her new robot. Kiro ended up grabbing her hand and guiding her through the town after the third time he had to keep her from falling into the ocean. The rest of the walk to the Pokemon Center was, thankfully, uneventful. She ended up hanging out in the Pokemon Center at Kiro's request though. They had a while before their next boat left and he didn't trust her to not get herself into trouble before then. She was perfectly fine with that. Sitting around gave her more time to work. Before leaving the Pokemon Center to catch their next boat, she stopped by the counter to get her book stamped. She hadn't realized before just how close to full her booklet was. They had come a very long way. She would have to keep the booklet after their adventure was over. That was something future her could sort out though. Current Elfana left the Pokemon Center so she could begin searching for their next boat. Hoenn

Emiri was thankful that after they finished with the Hoenn Region, everything would be much more inland as opposed to having to travel out of the open water of the ocean. Even in flight, being able to stay as high as she might want to, the endlessness of the ocean beneath them was still daunting, which was why she also never particularly liked the flight from Unova to Kalos or vice versa. At least she was capable of flying over the water and not having to take a boat or otherwise, as she had only been on a boat one time in her life and she could say definitely that she did not enjoy it one bit, and would never choose to do so again.
Far out into the ocean, one of the southern most locations for the Hoenn Region, Emiri and her Pokemon soon enough came up on Pacifidlog town, a town that was almost completely floating on the water as opposed to being anchored to an island of any kind. It almost reminded her now of that small little settlement in Alola that she had visited on one of their islands. She kept her Pokemon in the air and bid them towards Sootopolis now while she and Charizard made a careful landing, and Emiri was able to move into the Pokemon Center to gain her stamp there from Nurse Joy before moving on to meet up with the rest of her Pokemon.
