Right on the southeast coast of the mainland Hoenn, Slateport City stands as the main hub of coming and going for the almost the entirety of the region. What once was just a single market that chose to use the coast's clean water as an abundant food source, Slateport has since grown to be one of the largest, major port cities in the world where there is a constant flock of ships and boats docking and casting off. It is a central hub for trading and selling anything in the region as it is here that Hoenn receives most of it's goods from around the world that are then distributed around the region itself. With great shopping with vendors from all over, the Oceanic Museum, and amazing beaches with clean and clear water, Slateport City is a must see destination for anyone in the Hoenn Region.

Coconut replaces the smell of the bar, and I don't know if it's her or the rum. ♪ At Katie's request, the boat had stopped for a bit so she could go for a swim. Grovyle wanted nothing to do with getting in the water, but she had plenty of company once she was in. Her own Buizel, for example, was very pleased to have his Trainer swimming around with him. Even the local wild fish seemed to brave a visit, coming to investigate the strangers once they'd decided the boat and Human were no threat. She swam around for about an hour, diving, exploring with the aid of Buizel, and just having fun feeling 'at home', but all good things must come to an end eventually. The Captain had called to her that he would be expected soon, and that he had other people to ferry back and forth between the island and mainland. She got back into the boat, and even returned Buizel - who was getting tired - back to his Pokeball and then they were off once again. They made it to shore within another half hour. She returned her Pokemon and then stepped onto the warm sand. She took in the sight of the City, which stretched on and on beyond the beach... something had caught her eye though. She jogged off in the direction of the city of tents which had been erected right where the sand gave way to stone.

Souvenirs, trinkets, Pokeballs of every color, Potions, and many other things. She fell for the glamour and ended up buying more Potions and Pokeballs, a pair of black sunglasses, and even a Z-Crystal - which were infamous where she was from in Alola. The sunglasses fit like a charm, and she loved them. Pocketing the rest of her new purchases in her backpack, the blonde walked straight past the stands of merchants and into the actual City itself. People bustled about on their daily business. She could tell who lived here, who were Tourists, and who were just passing through on their journey through the Pokemon League like herself. It seemed to be a collision of every walk of life, everyone seemed to be living in peace though, which made the port city a peaceful place to pass through. -Backpack-

She had spent some time walking around the Oceanic Museum, but museums had never really been all that interesting to her. She would rather be outside and enjoying the sun. As a matter of fact, when she left the Oceanic Museum, she walked off a bit to a fenced in area with a statue in the center of it. She sat on the statue's base and watched the vibrant and brilliant colors fade and grow gradually darker as the sun sank beyond the horizon. It was beautiful. Now that it was getting darker, she got up and went towards the City's Pokemon Center. She paused just as she reached the door, her hand on the handle, and looked sideways. There were two Trainers there battling one another. A Sceptile was battling a Gengar, and she knew they were both fully evolved Pokemon. They must surely be strong Trainers. She even thought Sceptile looked familiar before realizing it must be what Grovyle would evolve into. Whoa, how cool! She went over to a bench beside the battlefield and took a seat to observe the battle. It was a fierce one, she had no idea two Pokemon could go at it so fiercely. Both Trainers were organizing their charges into using their most effective moves until finally Gengar fell backwards and was returned. She watched the Trainer hand over a handful of money - apparently they had placed a bet on the battle - and then leave away muttering angrily under his breath. She didn't see what there was to be so upset about, both sides had performed in the battle in ways she could surely never have done herself. -Backpack-

They weren't sure if it was inappropriate to battle a Pokemon and just leave it laying wherever, and they weren't in the mood for a lesson in morals. "Get over there and buy some Potions." He said, pointing to the open market. They asked where he was going and if he would be meeting back up with them sooner or later. "Don't question me. I have a plan, you just need to do what you're told." Jasper took off in another direction, but they didn't know enough about Slateport to guess where he might be going. Still, one didn't exactly argue with Jasper when he got this way. TL;DR

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE Without the looming presence of Jasper around, Rex and Lucky thought it was a great time to let out their Pokemon. Lucky, who was tired of walking everywhere, was riding on Tauros' back with Girafarig walking along beside them. Girafarig took a big interest in the Incense stand, sniffing each one and reacting to each in turn. It was obvious that some of them were winners, while othersw... well, not so much. Some of them apparently smelled so bad Girafarig recoiled in disgust.
While Lucky's pair of Pokemon pondered their perfumes, Rex's Fighting-Type friends found their fun in training against each other! Hitmonchan had the most battle experience, which made sense as it was the only one of them to have evolved. Lucky may have gone in search of his shopping supplies but Rex was content to oversee their sparring. Hitmonchan was a great coach, giving pointers to the two smaller fighters wherever they might have been lacking in strategy or stance.
Through jabs, throws, and snap kicks, the two small Tyrogue practiced pummeling each other to a pulp. They just weren't willing to stop until one of them was the decisive winner. They'd already drawn a crowd of curious watchers who wanted to see the outcome in this match. Many of them had never even seen a Tyrogue before, so this was a spectacle of strange standing. UNTIL THE DAY I DIE While they were busy entertaining themselves with their training and their shopping, Jasper struck out on his own for a very important task. The only problem was, I forgot what that task was and now I'm just kinda making things up as I go along. She walked into the Pokemon center and found the nurse rushing back and forth between patients. Apparently her helper was sick and she was doing more of the work on her own. Kira had to wait nearly half an hour for the Nurse to finish what she was doing at least enough to get the stamp for her book. With that out of the way, Kira raced out of the Center in a hurry. The Nurse watched her go with amusement. She found her dragons basking lazily on the beach where she'd left them.
She allowed them to lay there for about twenty minutes, and she sat in the shade of a beach chair's umbrella. That twenty minutes turned into an hour when she ended up passing out for a nap. When she woke up at last, she panicked for a moment. She didn't know how long she'd been asleep! It was still day, but for how long? She wasn't sure. she ran over to her dragons and woke them up. They blinked lazily and got up, stretching, yawning. "I don't know what time it is, but if we don't get to Verdanturf Town soon then we'll lose another day!"

Elfana Aroway Slateport City more than made up for the lack of anything worth doing in the previous town. Spending a day at the beach was something she seriously considered but there was also a museum she wanted to check out. She decided to think on it until after she had collected her next stamp. Needless to say, she headed straight for the Pokemon Center. Slateport City was busy enough that she, once again, found herself waiting in the lobby for a while. By the time she was able to get to the counter, she had settled on visiting the museum. Her booklet was stamped then stowed away. She remained in the Pokemon Center just long enough to ask for directions to the museum before going on her way. Instead of going to the museum right away, she decided to stop by the market to pick up some different treats for her Steelix. She owed him so much after how much he had helped her. The least she could do was buy him a couple of treats. From there she headed to the museum, which she ended up spending the rest of the day exploring with her Pokemon. Hoenn
