 "Where amber dust dances."
Nestled on a mountain's face on Kalos' most south western shore, Ambrette Town can be found south of Cyllage City. Unlike the bustling, cycling city scape of Cyllage, Ambrette is smaller and less crowded being so far from most other forms of civilization, but that doesn't make it any less of a hot spot for trainers and travelers alike. To the east one can find the Glittering Cave which is what the town is famous for, paired with the town's laboratory that has the technology of reviving the fossils that can be found in the cave. Take any fossil to the professors there and you can have an ancient Pokemon of your own, but they are not easy to find in the cave's many caverns. Likewise for the town, at it's very northern edge, a large aquarium sits which is also a large attraction for anyone who comes to visit. Over all, Ambrette Town is large for a town that sits on a mountain's face, but has more homes than it does actual businesses or other such buildings. With it's hotel, the town can be crowded every now and again with it's two main attractions, likewise for it's beautiful ocean scene that the town looks over with the ocean spreading out around it to the west.

The next Town on the way through his Pokemon Journey was quite different than any other City Thomas had been to. Set beside the ocean, surrounded by mountains, Ambrette Town had quite a beautiful appearance. He made a bee-line for the beach, with his bee buzzing along beside him. "Hey, that's a Combee!" Thomas turned his head, looking for the source of the voice. "Combee love honey!" A Woman sat behind a booth's counter smiling at the pair. "I love Combee, they are so beautiful. Why don't you have this, on the house."
Only now did Thomas realize what the lady was selling, the stacks of honey jars behind her had been hidden by her frame until he got closer. "Oh, thank you." He returned a polite smile and accepted the gift. "I'm sure Combee will love it." Combee buzzed excitedly as Thomas set the jar in his backpack. "Have a good day." He told the stand owner, waving as he continued on down to the beach.

The next stop for Thomas was a trip to the beach! He hastily changed into his swimming suit via a trip to the Pokemon Center. He then rushed straight to the sand and threw out a towel to lay on. There were others who, like him, wanted some time to relax from their stressful journey into the world of Pokemon. He lay down on the towel, sun-bathing and relaxing. Suddenly, an idea came to mind. He called all of his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs. "You all have fun. Don't wander off too far." He smiled at them. It was the first time he was letting his Pokemon off on their own.
"Seel?" Confused, but smiling, Seel went straight for the water. It splashed and played happily in the shallows. Ralts dipped a toe into the water, testing it. The baby Pokemon wasn't sure about the waves, but Seel approached and let Ralts ride around on Seel's back. Onix burrowed into the warm sand, just it's nose, eyes, and horn showing. It closed it's eyes and dozed off almost as quickly as Thomas did. Metagross decided to join in on the nap, eyes closed in 'shutdown mode', the computer hovered in place. Combee and Scyther were also keen, as bugs, to soak up the rays of the sun... though neither of them wanted anything to do with the water. They both fluttered away, using their wings to soak up warmth and carry them both in the same direction as they went on an adventure.

This was the first time in years that Thomas was able to relax. Through years of abuse from his Father, the stress of running away and starting a potentially life-altering journey, he hadn't had the time to lay back and just let the worry melt away. He napped for a few hours, knowing the sun was warm but wouldn't burn him. It wasn't that intense. When he woke up, he flipped over and fell back asleep. A while later, he woke up and rose to his feet. "Alright, ready to go?" He looked around for his Pokemon.
Ralts and Seel were still in the shallows, letting the waves wash up and over their body. He recalled them. Metagross hovered where it had been the entire time, and Thomas returned that Pokemon as well. "Onix?" He called out, and the giant rock snake erupted from his buried position in the sand, startling Thomas. "Return." He said with a laugh, recalling the fourth of his Pokemon. He went out in search of his other two, knowing they had wandered off. "Combee, Scyther?!" He called out, not worried because he knew his Pokemon wouldn't have abandoned him.
Finally, he found them with the Honey Lady. She had given the been some honey. "There you are." He approached them, returning them both to their respective homes. "Thank you for entertaining them." He said.

Freedom! At last, he could finally breathe peacefully. The cave was now going to be nothing but a memory, and Thomas was determined never to go back there again. "Where are we going?" Gardevoir asked her Trainer. Sure, she could have just read his mind and figured out the plan, but that seemed more invasive than simply communicating telepathically. She could tell that his psyche was fractured and didn't want to push him too far over the edge.
Thomas, who until this point had been visibly panicked by the enclosed cave system, actually smiled. "We're off to the Pokemon Center for a good long rest." She thought about this for a moment, considering explaining that she wanted to test out her new-found powers, but decided against it. She could tell that he was very tired. "When I get there, I'm going to request a nice, juicy burger!" Just the thought of food excited him like nothing else could right now. He could see the nearby Town coming closer with every step.

Laying his head on the pillow was every bit as sweet as he'd expected. The moment he laid down, he was out. Gardevoir sat on the edge of his bed and lost herself in thought. The rest of his team were all being healed, and it would take a couple of hours for them to recover fully. Lady looked at her Trainer, his face so peaceful, and yet as she looked further into his sleeping mind she could see the horrors that he was forced to relive over and over. She wanted to do something to help him, but didn't know what. She wasn't a Human brain-Doctor. Then there was a knock at the door. She rose elegantly to her feet and swept over to answer it. "Order, for Thomas!"
The volunteer said cheerfully. The tray floated into the air and into the room. "Thank you." She thought as the door closed on it's own. It floated over to the bedside table and rested itself on top. -Backpack-

As it turns out, the young male Trainer was tired enough to sleep through the rest of the day, and through the night. Gardevoir stayed awake by his side at first, but eventually fell asleep at the end of the bed. When he finally did wake up, the sun had risen and the bird were chirping merrily away outside his window. He looked around, confused, waking from a dream where he was still inside of that cursed tower. The pillars of the under-water Sea Temple were crumbling, falling around him in heavy boulders which sent water crashing up at him.
Blinking back the morning fog, he spotted the cheeseburger laying on the table to his left. He grabbed the burger and ate it cold. Even so, it was heaven. His stomach, which until this point had let him sleep, was now growling loud enough to make Lady stir. She sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Good morning." She thought at him.
"Good morning, Lady. Did you sleep good?" He asked politely and curiously. When she nodded, Thomas took another ravenous bite from his cold meal. "So I'm thinking we should get an early start. I want to get to the next town and see what's going on with the world." What did he mean, 'what's going on with the world'? In this world, they had barely been gone a few hours. Nothing was likely to have changed, right? All they could do was wait and see for themselves.

Unova was just too big and too crowded with too many big cities for her liking, and it was a breath of fresh air to already be on their way in leaving the big cities behind and moving out into the open air of the ocean. Emiri had the baby out with her per usual, and this time was mounted on Kovu who was going to start the journey over the ocean. His wingspan was unmatched, he had one of the largest wing to body ratios out of all of her Pokemon, and that made him an incredibly strong long distance flier. He was good at gliding and being able to hold out his wings in one push, but Emiri wasn’t going to have any one of her Pokemon make the entire journey just by themselves. She switched off between Azuran in the interim, and then moved to Hantu afterwards, and just as she had thought, in the late of the night, they had made it across the ocean and into their first stop of the Kalos Region.
Ambrette Town was a coastal town Emiri recalled, settled right on a sort of peninsula, and as Emiri and Hantu landed in the darkness and quiet, they were glad to know that their long flight was over for now. Emiri returned Hantu and made her way into the Pokemon Center, open round the clock for those that might need tending to, and while Emiri wasn’t necessarily there for any kind of medical attention, she did give over her Pokeballs for a refresh while she gained her stamp, the first of many for the Kalos region to begin. Elfana Aroway Elfana regretted all of the hatred she felt towards Ambrette Town before seeing it. Sure, it was small and out of the way- but it had an aquarium! She stopped by the Pokemon Center to collect her stamp before she could forget about it but after that she headed straight for the aquarium. Water Type Pokemon were among her favorites- especially the fish. She would never pass up the opportunity to see some new Water Types. Her excitement was matched only by Pantalaimon's. The Turtwig had no idea where they were going but it had to be somewhere good if his trainer was so happy! The little group ended up spending the entirety of the day at the aquarium. They left when it was about to close for the night. Pantalaimon had been returned to his Pokeball by the end of their stay. The Turtwig had worn himself out running from tank to tank to see the different Pokemon inside. Kiro had also been returned to his Pokeball. Trying to keep up with Pantalaimon was enough to exhaust anyone. This left Elfana with Walter and Haruka to keep her company. The Vulpix had taken to hiding in her arms after a curious child had tried pulling on his tails. Despite how late it was, Elfana decided to head back to Cyllage. She could sleep whenever they moved on to another region.Kalos
