He frowned as he looked over her injured arm, seeing that he hadn't harmed her. The comment about being a Wailmer missed him or he might have discouraged the behavior. He let her fuss while he kept an eye on her bruise and wound. He ran his fingers along her bandaged arm with a frown. "That's going to need changed." He pointed out, bringing attention away from his body and onto hers. He drew her away from their shower to sit on a bench and get her back washed. They were here together, he may as well handle the courtesy of cleaning her back for her. He washed her back, then she had to argue him into letting her return the favor before they were finished cleaning up. "Somehow I doubt your Gardevoir made such a mistake." He mused, putting together the sounds before he had got into the shower as Ember scouting ahead. She must have missed Kintaro. He might have to coach the empathic Pokemon on reading rooms better. He was not hiding. "I believe I made you a promise to find your Deino. Shall we start our search?" He offered, smoothing his hair back and wiping water free after they had both dressed in fresh clothes. He guided Hana back to their room and opened the door. Mary was waiting, regularly mewling her distress at being alone when she woke. Seeing Kintaro and Hana led to the Luxio pouncing her trainer and yowling her relief. "Mary!?" Kintaro Satoshi Hana, thankfully, made the rest of their bathing time easy. And Mary's gleeful welcome had been uncomfortable. He groaned out while Hana hugged and kissed both he and his Luxio and inadvertently helped him get Mary to climb off. The Luxio followed after Hana with Zinnia in tow. She rubbed up against Hana's legs growling softly but not quite purring. A little of her wanted to shock the girl, but Hana was nice, she would not shock. Kintaro frowned as he realized bringing up Baloth straight away had turned the mood sour. Of course it would. He had no reason to put that thought to her head so soon in the day. He had only hurt her. "Ms. Lucali, I apologize. We should probably get going sooner rather than later." He looked to Ember, seeing if the Gardevoir would give up his position of helping wrap up Hana's arm to someone who--as far as Ember felt it--was a stranger overall. In all honesty, his anxiety to get moving was a desire to get her distracted from worrying by making her start looking. And to help himself as well. He had stressed himself out worrying about all the factors that could come of dealing with a Team. Baloth could be dead right now and they would never find him. He sighed as he tried to help Hana dress her wound. If Ember didn't let him he would grow increasingly agitated and impatient. Clearly he wanted to distract himself from his own thoughts. Either way Mary began to rub up against her trainer, letting out a weak charge of electricity that made his muscles relax in his legs. He frowned down at the thunder cat, not enjoying the feeling of pins and needles but petting her head all the same. A worried Kintaro was an impatient Kintaro. To prevent her Charizard from incinerating this odd bug, she hastily returned it. In place of Charizard, she sent out Raichu who zapped the bug unconscious with one blast. The only problem was that this Pokemon wasn't actually alone. It had a friend who raced forward as quickly as it could despite the fact it was a slow Pokemon. Kira stared at it, trying to figure out what to do. It was a Pokemon she knew she wanted, being partly Dragon at least. She knew it was one she'd have to catch, so when Raichu zapped this one like it had the first, Kira tossed out a Pokeball to capture this one.
The Pokemon Center of Santalune City was busy. She had to wait in line while other Trainers had their Pokemon tended to. It was a bit of a drag, but Lucy's company always made anything better. While she waited the abnormally long time for her team to be restored to their full health, she played games on her phone while Lucy watched over her shoulder. It was a pointless mind-numbing game, but it got the job done. Waiting in silence with nothing to do was tantamount to torture for Kira. Eventually a Nurse's Assistant brought her Pokeballs out to her and she thanked the Pokemon for it's help, got up, and left the Center for the cool afternoon air. TL;DR

"Don't look at me." Lucy said over their telepathic link. "I don't think this is right for me to be battling the Gym Leaders who have Pokemon so much weaker than I am." She knew this was the first Gym in this Region, so it was doubtless going to have weaker Pokemon. She saw that Kira wasn't disappointed or upset by this, so she went on. "I will go in with you but I won't participate in the battle. Not this one at least."
Kira smiled reassuringly. "Of course. You know I wouldn't make you fight in a battle you aren't comfortable with." Lucy did in fact know this to be true. Kira was an incredibly compassionate Trainer and cared so much for her Pokemon and what they thought, and how they felt. She just wanted them to be happy and many of her Pokemon were dragons that were so full of energy they needed the release of a battle to function in society. Lucy was the opposite of this. She was like a knight - she had such high morals and integrity.
Kira found herself in an art gallery and had memories of the last Gym she was in. It had been a place where the Gym Leader himself had painted her struggles through the Gym. Was this going to be more of the same? No, she realized, these weren't paintings. They were photographs. She didn't know if that made this better or worse. She walked through the door labelled to tell here where to go, but realized this wasn't the Gym at all. It was a massive web that sprawled from one end of the room to the other, with a massive chasm between them. "Uh... Lucy?" She asked, looking to her Pokemon. "I think we're supposed to cross to the other side, it's a test to see if we're ready for this battle."
Kira had trouble with the ropes at first, even came very close to falling had Lucy not been right behind her to steady her from the near-accident. Eventually both Trainer and Pokemon made it to the other side, where she brought out Totodile and Raichu. She waited with her team standing there and watching their surroundings and eventually a boy appeared and challenged her to a battle!
He was a Bug=Type Trainer who had a Ledyba Though it buzzed intimidatingly, and took flight on odd shell-like wings, Totodile was fast and sprang forward to sink it's fangs down into it's chitinous body. With that strong bite in place, ice began to spread from Totodile's teeth until Totodile released the bug-cicle to fall to the ground. He ran off, but the spot opposite was quickly refilled. This time the Gym Leader stood to challenge the young redhead. She hoped that her size would be misleading, and cause Viola to let her guard down.
Though Kira would have liked that advantage, she had also given up one by keeping all of her available Pokemon out of their Pokeballs. If Viola was a clever Gym Leader, she might have noticed that Kira's Pokemon were tougher than they seemed as well. Totodile hadn't struggled against David's ladybug in the slightest. "Raichu, your turn." Kira said. Raichu nodded with a serious face. Taking the field, Raichu waited patiently for Viola to make her choice. The enemy was a Surskit. It was fast, easily sliding circles around Kira's Pokemon. Raichu stood up on two back legs and when Surskit finally got within reach, Raichu zapped that little bug right off the battlefield.
It was so small and light that it went further than Raichu expected. He felt bad because the hit looked painful. However, Viola returned her Pokemon and didn't look too upset. She sent out a beautiful Vivilion that flew around Raichu looking nervous. It was weak against electricity, but Raichu looked back at Kira and Kira waved the Electric-Type over. Then she looked to Totodile. "Ready?" Totodile excitedly jumped up and down a few times, snapping it's teeth and racing forward onto the field towards Vivillon.
The first lung croc made, Vivillon dodged by flying up and just out of reach. Unfortunately it didn't avoid *all* of the attack and it looked down to see it's foot with ice slowly spreading over it. It made an angry noise and tried to psychically take Totodile out of the battle early on. The thing was Totodile seemed to have such little in it's head to begin with that he could resist it and land an Ice Fang directly on the neck. If they were being honest with themselves, both Trainers knew Vivilllon was done for before the ice even completely spread out from the wound. However, if Viola insisted on stretching out the inevitable, Kira would wait until there was no doubt.

gravity_resistant Leader ViolaViola had her camera to her eye and ready to shoot, however she barely had any time to take at least more then a few shots. She lowered the camera and blinked for a few moments. "That was over faster then normal..." She commented before setting her camera down and began across the field after returning her frozen butterfly. She made her way towards the Redhead. "Normally I would offer you prints of the photos from the battle but it was over so fast I didn't get to take any good ones..." She explained to the girl sounding disappointed "Your Pokémon seem to energetic, it would have been perfect." She continued, not disappointed in the battle perse disappointed she didn't get any cool shots from it. "I wish I could have gotten some. But you did win so I'm happy to reward you with my badge." she finished with a smile. Se pulled the badge out of her Pocket and held it out to the young girl. She excused herself shortly after and Lucy simply picked her up and ran across the tightropes. Kira asked why she couldn't have done that before, and Lucy grinned down at her. "That wasn't a challenge meant for your Pokemon." Was all she said. The redhead thought about that a while and realized she had been right. Apparently this Gym was intent to challenge the Trainers as much as the Pokemon they used to do battle. "If I would have just helped you across that, or if Charizard flew you over, I believe you would have been made to retry without our help." They landed just outside of the Pokemon Center. Kira went in, but her dragons simply would not fit through the door. She requested some water and this City's stamp on her book, both of which were provided with a smile by a polite nurse. On conversing, Kira learned that she was still in training, and only here to assist her Cousin. Like Kira, she had come to Kalos from far away. Unlike Kira, however, her goals were not to prove herself but to help those in need.
She left the Pokemon Center about twenty minutes later, now hydrated and... missing her Pokemon. "Where could they have gotten off to?" She went in search of them and found Salamence and Dragonite tailing after a mischievous looking Gengar. Deimos was clearly up to no good and she hoped her dragons were there trying to stop it... rather than participating. "Where do you think you're going?" She asked, racing over to catch up.
Dragonite jumped, but Salamence had a sort of 'I told you so' look on his face. Gengar vanished from sight, but Kira knew where to find him. She aimed the relevent Pokeball at Salamence's shadow and recalled the ghost. "We don't have time to get distracted. I am so far behind. If I want to get all of these stamps in time, we are going to have to take this more seriously. I need to know that I can count on you. ALL of you." She scolded her dragons, who had the grace to look ashamed. She coulding stay mad at them. "It's okay. We just have to get going."

Elfana Aroway They appeared in front of the Pokemon Center after Walter Teleported them out of Santalune Forest. Walter had assumed that Elfana would want to stop there immediately before moving on. He had been correct about the first part but one look at the city was enough to make him decide that they were going to stay longer whether Elfana liked it or not. Santalune City was far too pretty to breeze through like they had the last few towns. At the very least they would be stopping for lunch. Elfana collected her stamp before she found herself being guided through the town by a much too enthusiastic Alakazam. She failed to see the appeal in Santalune City. The traditional look wasn't really her thing. She sighed but otherwise kept her protests to herself. She didn't want to ruin Walter's fun. Before long she found herself staring up at the sign of an adorable cafe. When was the last time she had stopped to eat? She couldn't remember. Despite this she still would have shut down the idea of food had Walter not looked so thrilled with his find. She accepted that she had lost the battle this time around and allowed herself to be led inside the cafe. Her team was allowed to order whatever they wanted while Elfana settled for a black coffee and a sandwich at Walter's insistence. She was usually too busy with her work to eat consistently. Since they weren't at the lab, she didn't have that excuse. She had to try to eat. Her idea of a compromise ended up being eating everything but the bread, which was given to Alastor. Walter didn't try to force the issue. At least she had eaten something. After they had finished their meal and everything was paid for, Elfana left the cafe. At Walter's insistence they didn't Teleport. He wanted to enjoy the scenery. This was fine by her. She could use the exercise. They made their way through the town and on to South Lumiose City.Kalos

She, like him, still needed to get used to his new form, especially in flying and flying together so that they could still work together as seamlessly as they always had. Emiri was so incredibly proud of Lynno and Salamence both for being able to achieve this new form of evolution, this more advanced form of strength and inner will, and being able to see their magnificent figures in flight was definitely something that Emiri enjoyed. She remembered Professor Oak saying too that the professor of the Kalos Region was the one most familiar with the concept of Mega Evolution, the study of it, but Emiri really didn’t feel like she needed to understand any more about it, at least not right away. Lynno and Salamence were both happy and still bonded with her just the same, and that was all that mattered.
In the south of the region, Emiri could see Santalune in the near distance, and it wasn’t much longer before they arrived and were able to land in the small city. Emiri slid from Salamence’s back to the ground and made her way into the Pokemon Center, and with a couple people who were also there for just the same purpose, she was able to get her stamp from the Nurse Joy there. Emiri was out of the center and back with Salamence after another couple of moments, and off they went to continue south towards Aquacorde. However seeing the Froakie in the boy's arms the pikachu seemed to smile and take a fighting stance rather than run away. It wagged it's tail from side to side and looked up at them as if wanted a battle, and after only a little hesitation, Script put down Frofro and the two got ready for a fight.Lvl. 9 Pikachu appeared!  Roma slowly got back to her feet and headed back over to the desk. She requested a room to stay in for the night and after receiving the keys she led her pokemon into the back to their room. There she sat on the bed and sighed, exhausted from the activities of the day. Sunshine floated to a spot beside her and fretted in little chirps, and Roma was keenly aware that the Togekiss was giving her hell for over-doing it.
"I know, I know. I'm old." Roma waved away Sunshine's concern and gave the pokemon a smile to show she would be just fine. All she needed was a good night's sleep.
As everyone began to settle down and find themselves a spot to sleep, Rose wandered to Roma's bag and sniffed it. Before long the curious Eevee had her head in the bag and was rooting around excitedly, catching Roma's attention.
"Careful dearie, there is a fi-" Roma couldn't get the words out in time before Rose began to glow suddenly. Within moments Rose's body had shifted and she had evolved, a strangely colored Flareon taking her place. For a moment everyone simply stared at Rose as the Flareon checked herself out, but after a moment Rose seemed to almost grin and began running about in excited circles.
"Well, so long as your happy, dear. My you are beautiful." Roma chuckled to herself, not at all bothered by losing the fire stone in her bag so long as Rose was happy with the results. Roma headed out of the pokemon center with her pokemon and made her way towards the Gym with a growing sense of excitement. However she didn't get far before a voice stopped her.
"Hey lady, you a pokemon trainer?" She blinked and turned around to find a young kid staring up at her with a Deerling by his side. Despite the rudeness of his words Roma smiled at him and gave a nod. "Want to battle? I'm training to take on the gym." The offer was tempting, and after a moment Roma decided they could use a warm up.
"Of course, dearie. We would love to battle you." Trainer Kyle sent out Lvl.20 Deerling! Roma sent out Ringo! Deerling used Sand attack! Ringo's accuracy dropped two stages! Ringo used Peck! Roma chuckled as the child pouted at losing before running off without a word. She felt bad of course, but she hoped he learned not to underestimate his elders anymore. Learning some manners would do him some good.
With that out of the way, Roma entered the gym. She was met by a beautiful room full of photographs of pokemon, mostly bug types. Distracted by the skill of the photography, Roma wandered around the room for a good half hour looking at them all and admiring them. It wasn't until Sunshine nudged her that she remembered this wasn't an art exhibit, but a gym.
"Sorry dearies, lets move on."
Roma made her way to the back door with a sign that read 'Gym' before taking a deep breath and preparing herself. It was finally time. She returned all of her pokemon to their pokeballs besides Sunshine and headed on through the door. There awaited her first challenge, which appeared to be making it across a grand spider web to the next door.
"Dear me." She stared at the web for a moment before taking a cautious step out onto the bouncy thing, already knowing this was going to be a pain, possibly literally. Padded or not, a fall from this height would do harm for sure. Sunshine practically fainted from the sight of Roma wandering out onto the web, and immediately grabbed the back of her shirt to help steady her.
"Thank you dear." Roma very slowly inched her way across the web patiently, stopping everytime the wobble risked her balance. As a kid she would have loved this challange, and a part of her was indeed having fun, but age had taught her to take it slow, and that she did. Eventually, she made it across without any mishaps and headed onward through the door.
Meeting her on the battlefield in the next room was a boy she assumed to be a gym trainer, and after a polite greeting the two prepared for battle. Trainer David sent out Lvl.10 Ledyba! Roma sent out Ringo! Ringo used Peck! Ledyba took 72 Damage! [0/70HP] Ledyba Fainted! Roma won the battle! Roma smiled as the boy bid farewell and left the battlefield. For a moment she felt nervous about the upcoming battle, but the feeling soon passed. She knew her lovelies would win, simple as that. As Viola made her way to take her spot on the battlefield Roma smiled warmly at her, aware that the leader was most likely surprised to get an opponent of Roma's grand age.

MochaLeader ViolaViola obviously had been taking photos through out her battle. She had gotten quite a few good shots of the fire bird and her surskit whirling around the field. There were some great action shots of them going back and forth from pecks to quick attacks. But the battle with her vivillon... That didn't go so well for her. She had snapped a few good photos of the small bird unleashing the blasting heat. But once the flames cleared her butterfly was done for. She peeked over the top of her camera with wide eyes. "I wasn't expecting that one." She commented surprised such a strong attack came from the little bird. She shook it off and returned her Pokemon and made her way over to the older woman. "You definitely know how to train your Pokemon" she complimented stating the obvious. it wasn't everyday Pokemon comes in with Overheat, especially not from such a small Pokemon. "You really deserve these." she commented with a friendly smile, pulling the badge from her camera bag. "I didn't get to take many pictures, but I did get a few really good shots. I can print you out a few prints of your fletchling if you would like." She offered to the older woman. She gestured to a disguised door behind her. "I can take you back to the photo gallery this way, and I can print them for you" she explained offering the older woman an easier way out of her gym, so she didn't have to try and make her way back over the webbing again.Roma has received: Bug Badge TM 83 Infestation +21 to Ringo Bonus:+5 exp to each party Pokemon x1 TM of your choice

Santalune was awkwardly peaceful, compared to the mess that was consuming both halves of the Lumiose. Vale breathed in and then breathed out - the contents in his stomach stabilized, and hunger settled in. He could tell Fabian was also hungry, and so his gym conquest plans must be postponed - for multiple reasons. At least the Pokemon Center was close, and with his brother's help he got inside. His leg was a bit numb and it hurt a little, and so it was a bit.. hard to walk.
Their room was small, but still got two beds and a decent bathroom, there they cleaned up and changed the mudded clothes. While he was checking his leg, Fabian took their dirty clothes down to the laundry room, and then their Pokemons for feeding. After to many battles, they pretty much deserved a meal. Vale also got to check on the Wingull, and she seemed to be.. content with the place she ended up on. He wondered if she and Seraph will get along or not - until now he was the only bird Pokemon in the team. And while he knew Rufflet longer, he decided to use her in the gym instead - she possessed a quite powerfull Hurricane, which might get handy against Bug types.
Despite his hunger, he wasn't going to eat in the Pokemon Center. "I believe you know some good spots in there to eat at?"
"I do. The place where Tristan worked had a really good menu." his brother hummed, and he got somewhat stabbed with guilt when hearing his friend's(?) name. Was he doing alright? It's been more than two weeks since they saw each other, and after what happened with his father.. Vale really hoped Tristan was doing alright.
Still, he didn't miss the affection in his brother's tone. "I still can't believe you two were close."
"Well... it's a long story." Fabian tilted his head, giving him a funny look. "I'm more curious why was your ex working in Castelia."
Now that took him off guard. Vale opened and closed his mouth for a moment. "Well, I- I didn't know he was there at first. And then.. well, it was a huge shock. But we are fine now, really."
He looked at him curiously, if a bit suspicious, before shrugging. "That's fair. He did looked at me like I was going to murder him at first, but I assume it's his usual reaction."
"Yeah, Micah was always a bit.. scatterbrained and anxious. But he could be confident when he wants to." Vale said, waving his hand nonchalantly. "But enough of that. I'm really hungry now."
