 The most of the reserve takes place on hundreds of acres of rolling plains, sprawling grass fields, and endless hills. Being so far from any major civilization, there are no buildings or structures within this part of the reserve and going forward, only open land for the Pokemon to occupy. This is natural land that has had little to no interference from outside forces, so there are open areas of grass and field that lead into patches of trees and more dense forest areas. Through out the landscape, there are some rocky spaces that almost appear as rock gardens or small canyons, otherwise it is completely open land for the Pokemon to travel and live as they please with many rivers, streams, and ponds that flow through the entirety of the property.{Things to remember (Click)} - All Pokemon except for legendary Pokemon can be found on the reserve
- Within the reserve, you can only capture a maximum of three Pokemon
- Once you have successfully captured your three Pokemon, you do not have to leave the reserve, but you cannot make any more captures
- All Pokeballs can be used on the reserve
- No flutes, incense, lures, abilities or other items that affect wild Pokemon encounter posts may not be used on the reserve
- It will take 3 RP posts per wild encounter on the reserve
- If you have not successfully captured a Pokemon within three attempts, the Pokemon will run away
- Running from a wild battle is optional, and there is a 4/10 chance of being able to escape every time you attempt in a battle. This roll does take your turn in a battle, just like in the games. You do not gain any exp or get your encounter posts back for running from a battle
- You may leave the reserve and come back as you please
- There is a Pokemon Center, box system access, and camping grounds and cabins available on the reserve for trainers
- There are no hoard battles, no SOS battles, and only one Pokemon can be encountered at a time per post. No double battles. These may or may not be time sensitive events that can occur in the reserve
- You may encounter NPCs in the reserve
- You can move from area to area freely, there are no post requirements, but you must enter and leave the reserve through the campgrounds
- Be mindful of what Pokemon you are encountering next and move to the appropriate area. A Snover would not be found on the coast

They were each given a number of options. Some chose to rent a cabin, and went to settle in. A group of young Trainers decided to take the tour, and learn as much about the Leafstone Nature Reserve as they could. Others, Katie among them, went directly out into the preserve. They all looked at each other for a few moments, smiles on everyone's face except hers, and then split up to go their own ways. Well, this was it. She started out into the massive open field and it took no time at all to come across a Pokemon. Small and pink, the Skitty looked at her curiously.
She aimed the Pokeball containing Treecko, and the Grass-Type Pokemon appeared. "Treecko, use Pound!" He had barely moved when Skitty retaliated. Fake-Out was enough to knock her poor Treecko out instantly. "No!" She ran forward, picking the gecko up to protect him. Skitty didn't attack again, just stood there watching her. She took it to mean that she was allowed to retreat - and running away is exactly what she did. The Pokemon Center welcomed her with a smiling-faced Nurse. "My Treecko, he's hurt!" The Nurse took him at once and rushed him to the back.

Treecko hadn't lasted ten seconds in that fight against Skitty, did this reflect on how poor a Pokemon Trainer she was? At this point, there were two options; give up and admit defeat, or pick herself up and get back out there. Though the first option seemed easier, she sighed and rose to her feet when Nurse Joy returned about twenty minutes later. Treecko was sitting on a metal tray and eating a berry Nurse Joy had given him as a treat. "Thank you, Nurse." She spoke with the same polite tone she'd used when speaking to the Professor.
"My pleasure, but you should be careful out there." She advised with a Motherly smile. "People drop off Pokemon here to keep the resort alive, and sometimes that Pokemon is strong enough to battle the Elite Four on someone's team." So, it wasn't her training prowess after all, perhaps it was just a very strong Pokemon. Picking up Treecko, she left the Pokemon Center thinking - 'Of course I walk right into one of the strongest Pokemon here right away, that's just my luck.'

Katie Du'Mont She'd made it only a few paces when the Nurse came running over to her. "Excuse me, young Lady!" She called. "I noticed you only had one Pokeball on you. We have a Pokemon here, a Buizel, who cannot be released into the wild because of his separation anxiety. I was wondering if you might like to take her with you? This will not count as one of the three Pokemon you're allowed to capture here, of course." Was she serious?
This was great! Katie could help a Pokemon who needed the compassion of an understanding Trainer, and have a Pokemon who actually seemed to like her! There was just the problem of the fact that she had no idea what a Buizel was... "Of course, Nurse. I'd love to take care of this Pokemon." Just like that, Nurse Joy handed over the Pokeball containing Katie's brand new Pokemon. "Thank you very much."

Katie Du'Mont Walking out of the Pokemon Center, a shadow passed over-head. Katie looked up, expecting some dangerous Pokemon who was going to send her scurrying right back into the Pokemon Center. She was half right. Apparently the Pokemon around here didn't like being hunted, so they had decided to work against the Trainers invading their home. It was unfortunate that they were using Katie to set this example. It attacked, hitting Treecko the moment he appeared from the Pokeball. Expecting a preemptive attack like this, Katie had thrown out both Pokeballs at the same time. While Treecko went down, Buizel immediately used Blizzard to blow Xatu out of the sky. Sighing dejectedly, she turned and walked right back into the Pokemon Center. TL;DR

She was confident in her own psychic types and knew that the boy’s points were entirely irrelevant, so she really didn’t pay much mind to what had happened , being left to her own devices once more. The trainer Skylar had gone off to start exploring the reserve, and so she thought she might do the same. There was a small registry that was necessary in order to officially enter the reserve, so this place knew exactly how many trainers were coming into the reserve she supposed. She hadn't quite understood the point of this grand event until she'd come to register her own Pokedex, when she heard one of the reserve staff talking off to the side. This was a way for trainers to not only learn more about Pokemon by encountering Pokemon they might never have seen before, but there could be really tough Pokemon here in this place over the acres and acres of land that made up its property making for an excellent training opportunity. Rhienne wasn't necessarily looking to become such a fierce trainer, battling the strongest Pokemon that she could find, but she was here, and she might as well take the opportunity. She just needed space, and air, and to be somewhere that wasn't Johto, and this was her chance now.
Coming to the edge of the trees where the campgrounds and cabins came to an end, Rhienne looked out to the vast expanse of land that rolled on forever it seemed. The fields were green and different patches of trees could be seen in the far distance, and she couldn’t see beyond that, really not knowing how far this property went. It was a sunny afternoon it seemed, large white clouds rolling through the sky as a cool breeze rushed through the trees, and Rhienne felt refreshed in that moment, if only a little.
From her Pokeballs, Rhienne released a few of her Pokemon that she knew would at least care to be in such an open environment, away from civilization and otherwise. She knew Kyoko wouldn’t appreciate being in the middle of nowhere, and Cheshire and Absolem could care less, but she did release a few as Nara came beside her, the large black tiger looking out into the reserve with her red eyes. The tiger leaned down for Rhienne to get on her back as she stood, Rhienne mounting Nara whom began to walk forward through the line of the trees, and Valor and Terrent followed, taking to the air above them. Balto stood beside Nara, only being able to sense her heat signature as he looked in her direction, and they started off. Rhienne held on to Nara’s mane as the tiger started off in a run, bounding forward on her broad legs and large paws out into the open field of the reserve with the blue Arcanine keeping close beside her. Rhienne couldn’t help but smile as she felt the wind rushing through her hair and feeling Nara’s power beneath her, looking up through her glasses to see Terrent flying with spread wings above them and Valor spiraling through the air, his black scales shimmering in the sun. She felt different, different than she had in what felt like such a long time, and for a moment just wanted to get lost in this feeling, get lost in the depths of the grass and field that sprawled out around her. They stopped momentarily for a small battle with a Tepig that blew a bit of smoke in them in passing, but Rhienne was still mounted on Nara’s back, looking around the vast expanse and enjoying the openness. If she left without him, he would have to find another way back to Johto, and that wouldn’t exactly be nice of her. So with Terrent and Valor in the air still, following with her, Rhienne motioned for Nara and Balto to start heading back towards the way they came when they ran into a rowdy little houndour. Nara took the battle easily as they moved back over the grass and fields, coming closer to the campgrounds where she could see Skylar in the near distance.

Rhienne looked up as she could only fathom that Valor was going to take on the bird, and she noted that it was such an odd color compared to other Pidgeotto that she had seen. It was no matter though really as Valor’s scales sparked and glowed as the dragon fired a Thunder attack at the flying type, effectively knocking it back in the air. The bird wavered, clearly having taken a hard hit already, but it was not down for the count as it furiously flapped its wings, gaining power before side swiping past Valor, striking the middle of his body in midair. Valor growled at the bird for the hit that he took before following it intently with his red eyes, opening his mouth and breathing a torrent of bright flames that engulfed the bird entirely, securing his victory for the small battle. Rhienne only shook her head with a knowing smile, knowing Valor would have not let the bird free if it had chosen to fly away before beginning the battle before turning her attention back to Skylar.
”There’s Pokemon all over the place, it’s just a matter of challenging them I guess,” Rhienne remarked as Valor came down from the air to coil on the ground. She watched Skylar as he came closer, approaching Nara as he walked by her, and the tiger only watched intently with her red eyes, looking down to the human. Rhienne could tell that Skylar was looking at Nara, but out of interest or fear, she couldn’t quite tell.
”Don’t mind Nara. She might look intimidating, but she won’t hurt anyone unless they cross her,” Rhienne commented, looking out to the fields to start heading further into the reserve. The blue flamed Ponyta had her ears twitch. Something was nearby. A pokemon jumped out of the grass. A Comfey lunged out at the flaming horse pokemon, the ponyta moved out of the way as the battle started. Skylar himself got ready for the battle coming up. The Ponyta sparked her flames up as she jumped up lunging at the fairy type landing on top of it. In retaliation the comfey cried out as vines start to whip the ponyta causing her to back up injured, getting her brings she charges once again jump up, not as high this time and slams its body on the fairy type. The fairy's body glowed as a barrage of colored leaves smack the ponyta back. The ponyta charged a fire attack from her mouth and started running towards the pokemon as the attack engulfs the ponytails body in a wheel crashing into the fairy type. Causing it to be defeated. Ponyta used Body Slam Comfey 125/210 Comfey used Vine Whip Ponyta 75/120 Ponyta used Body Slam Comfey 40/210 Comfey used Magical Leaf Ponyta 15/120 Ponyta used Flame Wheel Comfey was defeated Ponyta earns 12 EXP Ponyta grew to lv 16! Skylar and Ponyta having their first battle was really intense and close to losing. Skylar starts to take care of ponyta and her wounds from the battle. After the battle. The ponyta was fully healed and smiled giving a happy whinny nudging her trainer. " Im glad you feeling better." he said happily petting her while chikorita wanders off, another rustle in the grass spooks chikorita to run to skylar as a Ribombee follows the chikorita back to Skylar. " Well looks like no rest for us!" he said as he threw a poke ball out sending Espeon out to help chikorita. Espeon in an attempt to help chikorita used tackle, but doing almost nothing the Ribombee send espeon flying with one dazzling gleam making it unable to battle, the ponyta was furious and charged out using its flame wheel attack as its body was covered in fire scoring the super effective attack, not liking the fire type, Ribombee used silver wind which wasn't very effective and the ponyta came back around with another flaming attack crashing into the fairy type. Suddenly an explosion of pollen came crashing into the ponyta causing it to sneeze. Calling the ponyta back, the chikorita ran as Ribombee tried to paralyze the Chikorita with Stun Spore, Chikorita being a grass type was immune to most spores and ran in using a Tackle attack..Being enough to finish it off its flies away, and Chikorita stood proudly to help. Skylar ran over to chikorita thanking her but was sad Espeon was still taken out. He looks at the female trainer with great concern. As Skylar was riding back into the plains on his ponyta, they notice something that blurs by the duo in a incredible speed causing them to stop, soon running up an Arcane growls at them for coming into its area, Skylar then did what he hoped would work. Getting off the ponyta, Skylar sends out Umbreon. The Umbreon got into a stance to signal a battle. And so the long battle took its place, the Arcanine bit down on the umbreon causing it to whimper in pain and launching sand in its eyes, it falls back and shakes its head using Extreme Speed and crashes into umbreon causing it to faint, returning the umbreon, Skylar sends out Espeon, the Arcanine used Will o Wisp to burn espeon, luckily the ability synchronize didn't effect arcanine when espeon suffers from burn it uses sand attack too causing its vision to be blurred even more. Yet the arcanine crashes into espeon with great speed causing it to faint as well. Losing options fast he sends out Ponyta. Suddenly the Arcanines fangs sparked with electricity, however the attack missed the ponyta as it uses body slam and soon paralyzes the arcanine. The arcanine growls in anger and bites down on the ponyta causing it to neigh in pain. Ponyta jumps away and comes back slamming its whole body on arcanine again. Attempting to finish the horse up the arcanine becomes a blur but stops due to being paralyzed. Seeing its opportunity it slams the arcanine again. Feeling the Ponyta nearby its fangs spark up and crunches on a tree thinking its ponyta, until it gets slammed again. Not being too happy about this condition, it flails around trying to bite the Ponyta uses its body again slamming into the pokemon, Skylar saw a chance and threw a poke ball, without hesitation it popped open, and with its sense of feel arcanine charges at ponyta using its blurring speed attack knocking it out. Skylar was left with chikorita, the small pokemon nodded to skylar and ran out incase this ball didn't work. Skylar threw the poke ball at Arcanine. It started to shake until it stopped and shined in a capture. " I...I did it! I Caught an Arcanine!" he called out picking up the ball in joy. " Oh WOW!" he smiled shaking with excitement. He'd had to go back and forth a bit to the campgrounds back to that Pokemon Center here and there, and since they weren't too far from the tree line, so he never had to go far at least, but Rhienne had to imagine it must be exhausting, for both him and the new Pokemon. He had just gotten into a battle with a fierce looking Arcanine when Nara growled and snarled at a large, powerful Noctowl that was coming in for a dive strike above them. Balto growled and grabbed Rhienne off of Nara's back as the tiger went into battle, her mane sparking to life as she struck with a furious thunder bolt, but the bird who's brilliant golden feathers shown in the high sun did not go down, taking the hit easily. Rhienne now stood on the ground beside Balto who watched carefully, as well as he could despite his pale irises, and Nara was ready to take on the battle with the powerful bird. The Noctowl bore a brilliant fairy type attack and Nara exchanged another thunder strike before the bird chose to take the higher ground to get the advantage. Nara's red eyes grew sharp, watching the bird in the air, and Rhienne could feel the air grow thick with static as Nara started off in a run. Rhienne knew that the tiger was as fast as lightning, but she only rarely got to see it, and watching in this moment behind her glasses, she couldn't help but smile. Nara was running, following the Noctowl in the air and gaining speed at an amazing rate, her mane was glowing with sparks and her feet were bringing up threads of electricity with every bounding step. The Noctowl took a sharp turn in the air, trying to gain ground, but Nara was faster as she leaped into the air, using her momentum and the power of her electricity to thrust herself into the air at the Noctowl. She roared, turning over in the air before striking down with her tail, effectively ending the battle as the Noctowl hit the ground. Nara landed on the ground with poise and precision as she raised her head at her victory, padding back towards Rhienne and her Pokemon. Katie Du'Mont Growing rather tired of being beaten so often, Katie left the Pokemon Center with a sour expression on her face. When she encountered another Pokemon, five minutes walking distance from the Pokemon Center, she knew she didn't stand a chance. the thing was massive, towering over even herself. Still, it had charged her. She let out both of her Pokemon, and it's spinning drill-like horn went right through them. It stopped just short of her, huffing into her face. Without another sound, it turned and stomped off. So, they were trying to mess with her! She collected her Pokemon, and walked back to the Pokemon Center rather slowly. TL;DR

Katie Du'Mont Spotting a shadow pass over-head, her first instinct was to defend herself. She threw out both Pokeballs again. A small owl landed on the grass a short bit away. It watched her curiously, but didn't actually attack. Perhaps every single Pokemon here wasn't trying to send her running... just the majority of them. Her heart was in her throat right now. "A... a Rowlet..." She gasped out, slowly approaching the weenie owl. It ed it's head to the side curiously. "Rowlet, would you like to come with me?" Rowlet seemed to think about it for a moment, and then hopped towards her. She quickly scurried through her bag to pull out a vacant Pokeball. He tapped his beak to the center button, and disappeared inside in a flash of red energy. She stared down at it, struggling to wrap her head around the fact that she actually had one of her absolute Favorite Pokemon all for herself!.

Soon seeing the many cracks of thunder and lightning, Skylar made his way with his Pokemon back to where the event took place to soon find Rhienne and her pokemon, as well as the way her Raikou had the look of victory on it, Skylar rubbed his head wondering what had just taken place. " Is everything ok over here?" He Questioned her. The Chikorita jumped up onto Skylars shoulder and gently nudging his cheek affectionately wanting to play with him, he held a finger up to give him a moment. Katie Du'Mont Sure, she captured a new Pokemon, but it wasn't like she battled it. Even so, she doubted she'd ever come across a Pokemon low-enough level to defeat and capture the proper way. Her fears were further realized when a tiny bug single-handedly defeated her entire team. Using a Bug-Type move, Treecko fell. Next, two successive electric attacks floored Rowlet and Buizel. She returned all her Pokemon and rushed back to the Pokemon Center. The Nurse already knew what she was there for, and she hurried the girl's Pokemon to the back. Fortunately, it was a quick fix and she was right back out into the Reserve.

Treecko smacked Katie on the back of the head, leapt into the air over a sailing metallic support beam, and flipped over to slam his tail into the head of a Fighting-Type Pokemon Katie was unfamiliar with. Treecko's warning had directed her attention just in time for her to duck, the metal beam sailing over where her head had been moments before. Katie Du'Mont Their next enemy was another she didn't know. It was a miracle that she'd come across a couple she actually was familiar with, but she struggled with the fact that she was in unfamiliar waters. Though she enjoyed freedom, the unknown was quite frightening to her. "What are you..?" She muttered, releasing her Pokemon just to be safe. Buizel apparently didn't want to deal with the waiting game, so he attacked. Shelmet countered with Mega Drain, countering his attack and knocking the otter out.
Treecko stepped up next, Treecko began to whistle, but it did nothing. Until, that is, the final whistle left the Shelmet snoring. Treecko twisted his body, slamming his tail multiple times into the enemy. Shelmet woke up, spitting a purple layer of acid over Treecko, who was dropped at once. Rowlet, already hopping forward, pecked the enemy a couple of times. Taking the hits, Shelmet released all the damage taken and knocked the owl out as well. He'd swept Katie's team, even if it had been close. TL;DR

Katie Du'Mont Having settled in comfortably into the night, she realized that she was bored. There was so much to do, so much to see here. How could she just sit around? There were Pokemon who were notoriously nocturnal, and how could she let the opportunity to see them slip away? Anything that wanted to attack them would be well spotted by the owl playing sentry over-head, or by Treecko. She felt reasonably sure that nothing was going to sneak up on them. That was, until a small black rat crept through the tall-ish grass towards them. "I wonder what we'll find out here at night." She remarked to her Pokemon, none of whom answered. Just then, the Alolan Rattata leapt out at them and bit down on Rowlet, turned it's attention and it's bite to Buizel, and finished by biting down on Treecko who had come to the aid of it's friends. Katie screamed profanities at the rat as she returned her Pokemon and stalked off in a rage.TL;DR

That Noctowl was certainly nothing to take lightly as Rhienne watched it rise from the ground and shake off its feathers before fluttering off into the air again. It had landed more than a few good hits on Nara, and had put up a good fight against her own powerful electric type attacks. She knew at least that Nara, Valor, and Balto could hold their own in case anything else approached them, knowing now that she had to be ready for any exceptionally powerful opponents. Balto helped Rhienne back up onto Nara's back as the tiger returned to her, and Rhienne stroked her mane in appreciation for the battle she just endured.
"That was a good battle Nara, I'm very proud of you," Rhienne praised softly, though she and her Pokemon looked out to find Skylar coming back towards them over the grass, no doubt being able to see the brilliant display of electricity that Nara had put on. He showed concern, and Rhienne almost had to smile at the fact that he thought something might have happened. She liked to think that she and her Pokemon could take care of themselves.
"Everything is fine? Nara was just showing off against an actually really powerful Noctowl," Rhienne replied, patting the tiger's neck as Nara gave a sort of growl in confirmation.
"I guess I took it for granted, that there are really powerful Pokemon here. Pryce put up a good battle too, but that Noctowl didn't even flinch the first time Nara caught it with her electricity," Rhienne continued, being able to compare the power of Pryce's ice type Pokemon to those that she might find here on this reserve. Just then though the ground beneath Nara and Balto's paws began to shake and tremble before a Baltoy erupted from the ground, and Rhienne knew that the ground type would pose more threat to Nara and Balto and Valor than they could handle if it was as powerful as that Noctowl. From a single Pokeball Rhienne released Wattson, and the Mega Lucario already had the foresight to know that he had something to take care of. Just as Rhienne could have imagined, the Baltoy put up a fierce fight against the Lucario, it's speed was incredible as it was able to get in more than one hit at a time against Wattson. He was far from going down without a fight though as he managed to get in a few good hits with his Iron Tail, or a Dark Pulse that made the Baltoy reel back from the power, and soon the Baltoy fell from the battle, unable to keep going against Watton's tenacity.
"Where are we Rhienne? Not even in Blackthorn City were the wild Pokemon that strong," Wattson asked aloud, standing straight on his two hind paws before he walked back towards Rhienne and Nara.
"Skylar here heard about this reserve somewhere around Kalos, and he wanted to go. We came too, but I couldn't have imagined the battles would be this intense," Rhienne replied, and Wattson turned his attention to the trainer and the young Chikorita that rested on his shoulder.
"Skylar is it? My name is Wattson, it's nice to meet you," Wattson greeted, moving to shake the trainer's hand as he held out his own paw. His red eyes watched the area around them closely, knowing now that the Pokemon here could pose a threat and a challenge, and that's when he watched a rather large Butterfree that was coming towards them, its wings glistening with powder and probably the intent to poison them all or put them all to sleep. Valor coiled into the air and took on the Butterfree in battle, breathing the fire that he used quite often in battle in order to fend the bug off, but it was strong, and had the capacity to take more than a few hits as it struck back with vigor and ferocity, but Valor was stronger and came out victorious in the end, sealing another victory among these almost impressive Pokemon.
"Willy nilly? I've never thought of it as such. I've been with Rhienne for a good few years now, wouldn't you say," Wattson inquired, looking back to Rhienne and Nara, and Rhienne contemplated the question posed to her as Skylar had mentioned that he had only just begun on his journey just that same morning.
"I guess you're right? It's been that long," Rhienne replied, having never quite thought about it before, or at least not for a while now about how long she had been traveling.
"Yes, just like Rhienne and Kyoko, she was a small thing just like your Chikorita was. I myself was only a Riolu when I had met Rhienne. I'm sure the two of you will make great partners," Wattson spoke, looking from the Chikorita and back to Skylar with a nod. Waddling out of the bushes was one of the Ancient pokemon, one called a lileep which came near the duo of trainers. Carefully scanning them, the Chikorita didnt like the fact it kept getting closer and was soon next to Skylar. The lileep noticed the chikorita might be getting a bit hostile and in a split second sprayed acid at the two, Skylar stumbled back saving chikorita from the poison "What was that for!" The Chikorita Jumped down to defend the trainer that was hers. Lileep used Acid, the attack missed. Chikorita used Razor Leaf Arcanine is loafing around Arcanine is loafing around Arcanine 60/440
