Taking immediate charge in the circumstance of facing off against the feral Kabutops, as soon as Nimbus had taken the baby from his back, Kovu lunged past Emiri and Andy and head on towards the charging rock type. He stood tall on his four broad legs and flared his wings and tail, making himself look bigger and more imposing with a roar that echoed through the city streets. His scales were alight with electricity and his wings crackled with every move he made as spark and streams moved over his black body, and he bared his fangs with snarling breaths as he glared right at the fossil that was threatening them. The dragon's tail thrashed on the ground, sweeping up dust from the walkway with each thump, but other than that his stance was steadfast and daring, just waiting for the Kabutops to make a single move. Despite Kovu's intimidation efforts, the Kabutops only screeched again as it thre its scythes on the ground in a clash of sparks upon contact, there was nothing that was going to calm the feral fossil from its rage, clearly upset at not being in any familiar surroundings and likely being prodded and subdued for experimentation. The Kabutops rushed again, unfazed at Kovu's interjection, its scythes raised and ready to strike, but the black dragon roared again as he narrowly missed a slash from the fossil. Kovu was quick, and he was not going to have anything threaten Emiri or the baby as he could hear Emiri's gasps and cries behind him, and he turned with a snarl and struk fast with his tail, sending the Kabutops back down the walkway and landing on the ground with a heavy thud. Now that he had the fossil at a distance, he was going to keep it that way, and it seemed that he was not going to be without help as the Tangela and Fennekin that the human Andy had with him rushed forward to try and keep the fossil at bay. The black dragon gave a small purr in thanks to both small Pokemon, but he kept his focus sharp and his eyes forward towards the imposing fossil. Kovu's scales crackled again, and he held glowing plasma in the back of his throat in anticipation for another strike, but behind him Emiri was struggling all the more with the sounds of battle that she could hear.
Seeing the Kabutops rushing at them down the street was the final instance that Emiri could take before her mind began to give in entirely to the nightmares that she suppressed every day. Some days were better than others for her, most of the time she could keep herself in check and not flit between her memories and reality, other times she struggled in her sleep and would wake from her nightmares, but this trauma that she was experiencing was something akin to what she had experience the night they'd been stolen away by Raphiel. Things were too familiar, too triggering for her, or the sheer stress of the situation weighed down on her more than she could handle, but whatever the case may be, Emiri was struggling, and slowly losing control. Whether her eyes were opened or closed, her memories were flashing before her, the wreckage that the fossils had caused was strewn all through the city streets, smoke billowed up into the sky in pillars from the attacks that they unleashed, the sickening sound of bones scraping together and the airy distorted screech that came with each attack, she could hear it all as though she were reliving the very first day in Pewter City and she was losing her grip on the thin line between reallity and her memories.
"Ivysaur! What are you doing?! Run!" she heard, like an echo in the distance, but she recognized it as her own voice, the same terror and fear that she was feeling now being heard in her voice, the memory of her and her Pokemon trying to face off against these fossils the first time.
"Treecko, don't let them get you!" came another voice, and looking up in a panic she could swear she watched Alex's figure rush behind one of the buildings, the green glow of an energy ball light up the walkway... The sounds of battle still came to her though, and there was no way of knowing whether it was from reality or her nightmares, but she did feel something moving beside her, a presence, and then an arm around her shoulder...
"Aku... Make it stop...," Emiri sobbed then, thinking her lost friend Aku to be standing there beside her in that moment as oppsoed to Andy whom was trying to comfort her, and she still held her head in her hands as tears rolled down her cheeks, her shoulders trembling at each breath and sob that came from her voice. Pain, terror, fear, anguish, there were so many feelings and emotions emanating from Emiri's being as Nimbus watched on from behind them, trying to keep the baby out of harm's way as Kovu had intended, but his good heart and kind nature couldn't let go of the fact that he was watching and feeling Emiri suffer so... What had happened that she was struggling this much? He could feel that power from her mind again, it was palpable, and frankly a little intimidating, but he wanted to make it stop for her, so she would be able to come out of the trauma that was suffocating her.
"Emiri... Emiri what's happening? Let me help, please," Nimbus tried to say, he wanted to help so much... But in that moment, as he opened his psychic abilities to reach out to her, to aleviate anything, even the smallest thing that could be troubling her, Emiri screamed. Nimbus' psychic power clashing with the power and intensity of her vivid nightmares and the powerful connection to time that she had bestowed upon her gave way to a terrible pulse of psychic energy that emanated from Emiri and caught Andy beside her. Emiri's body fell limp, and her scream was silenced almost immediately as her eyes closed tight, and only a second later Zaron appeared hovering above the two humans that now lay motionless on the ground, looking down at Nimbus with a shocked and almost scared expression.
"What did you do," Zaron asked in an exhasperated breath, glancing down to Emiri's figure and only barely being able to feel her consciousness there. Nimbus was in shock, the power that he felt in opening his own abilities, the things that he saw upon truly coming into contact with Emiri's mind for the first time...
"I... I was only trying to help...," Nimbus uttered then, his tone quiet but his voice shuttered at the mention of his intentions, all he wanted to do was make it stop like Emiri wanted...
"Emiri's mind is as powerful as it is fragile, and I fear you've put them both in the grasp of her subconscious mind," Zaron chided as he looked down at the two trainers, fearing the worst...

Emiri's scream continued as she was crouched on the ground of Pewter City, holding herself in her arms as tears still stung at her eyes. They rolled down her cheeks and fell upon the dusty walkway beneath her as the sounds of battle still continued on around her, and to her horror she looked up just in time as the enormous fossil of an Aerodactyl flew over head, thrashing its tail into a near by building with a shower of dust and debris. The sky was riddled with dust and clouds of dirt, and pillars of smoke that rose up into the air from the destruction that was over taking Pewter City, and everywhere there were screams and shouts from those who had been caught by the fossils that ravaged the streets. Buildings were burning, others had gashes or dents in them from the onslaught of reanimated monsters, and it was all exactly as Emiri remembered it...

At the forefront of the battle, Kovu stood with the two smaller Pokemon as they tried to keep the fossil at bay, not knowing how long the fight was going to have to keep up or if the fossil would move on to continue to terrorize the city. It didn't seem to be deterred at all though by the hit Kovu issued, and as it had landed and skidded hard along the ground, its rocky armor did well in keeping it intact as the Kabutops stood again at the end of the walkway. Kovu held plasma in his throat, he wasn't going to let this fossil get anywhere near Emiri or the baby, but the fossil charged again, gaining fast on its opposers. Kovu was ready to fire, and the small Fennekin and Tangela had already made their attacks to slow it down, but his ears shot up at Emiri's piercing scream behind him, and he turned to look only to see her go limp and fall to the ground. He panicked, hardly noticing Zaron come into view, but the sound of the Kabutops' screech caught his attention as he turned forward again. He didn't hesitate, he released the plasma that he held in his throat and struck the rock type head on, the pulsing ball of energy striking right in the middle of its torso. The impact thrust the Kabtops backwards and across the walkway, and as soon as it made impact with the building down the way, the plasma exploded into a shower of sparks and fire, effectively subduing the rock type. The figure of the Kabutops slumped down against the building towards the ground as smoke streamed up to the sky from the fire that caught the building, but Kovu paid little mind to the aftermath of his attack as he turned towards Emiri, finding her still lying on the ground, unmoving and unconscious.
Nimbus stood there on his tail, still in shock of what had happened and what he had seen, not even the shrill cries of the Marill that shrieked at them all about what had happened didn't phase him as he stared off with a blank, almost horrified expression. Kovu growled at the Marill, clearly displeased with how she was behaving, but he noticed Zaron above Emiri and Andy as the ghost moved down towards them, examining them further.
"Yelling will do nothing to fix what happened," Zaron chided, looking to the water type sharply as he spoke, his hands hovering over Emiri's and Andy's bodies.
"I'm surprised that she would have come here willingly, there's too much that happened here for her to pass through alright," Zaron commented though as he looked down to Emiri, his expression saddened at seeing her struggling in her unconscious state.
"I guess this involves you all now since it seems that this human has been caught in the situation as well. Emiri is a special human with endowed power, but she can't control it,"[/b] Zaron began, trying to calm the few Pokemon that seemed to belong to the human boy, but Kovu snuffed at the sound of something behind them, the sound of sirens and people running. Lab coats and flashing lights moved down the walkway towards the Kabutops, no doubt the museum officials whom were looking for the fossil after it escaped, but with two unmoving and unconscious humans strewn out on the sidewalk, questions were sure to arise.
"We can't stay here. They can't be taken to a Pokemon Center, we have to move," Zaron hastened, gathering Emiri's things from her to move the process along, and he looked to Kovu quickly whom understood what was needed of him. Zaron's hands reached down and picked up Emiri first and dd her over Kovu's back as the black dragon moved forward, and then he did the same with Andy's figure and carefully placed him on Kovu's back as well. They were still alive, and still breathing, but there was no telling how long they were going to be unconscious until Zaron got a closer look at them.
"Anyone who doesn't want to run, get on Kovu's back now, the rest of you, we need to move," the ghost rushed then as the humans were coming closer now from the end of the walkway where the Kabutops was being detained, and with that Kovu took off running through the city streets to get away.
"Nimbus, that means you too," Zaron chided again, the mouse had been a state of shock, a terrified daze this entire time, and while this was his fault as far as Zaron could gather, he wasn't going to leave him there, and especially not with the baby Chifaera that sat curled on his tail with a wide and scared expression all the same. Nimbus' ears twitched at the sound of his name, and his glazed eyes only glanced at Zaron, but his tail moved over the ground and began to follow with the rest of the group as Zaron disappeared to catch up with Kovu, leaving the group of humans behind.

Holding herself on the ground, sat on her knees and her arms wrapped tightly around herself, Emiri couldn't will herself to move for anything as she looked on with tear stained eyes welled up with tears at the terrible sight of Pewter City in chaos and ruin. The fossils had completely over taken everything, the city was struggling to fight back, and she could hear the airy screeches and scraping bones from every direction that made her stomach lurch. She couldn't do this by herself... She needed help, she couldn't fight these monsters alone...
"Aku! Aku where are you," Emiri cried out, shouting into the city streets with a desperate plea, trying to reach out for anyone that would help her.
"Alex, please," she continued, not understanding why either of her two closest friends were ignoring her cries for help, but at the sound of her name calling over the sounds of battle, she looked frantically trying to find Aku or Alex. Instead though, her bleary eyes focused on a figure moving towards her, and she looked up in terrible confusion in who she was looking at. Her memory was taking on so many different traumas that she had faced, her time lines were getting skewed and she couldn't think straight, but the person who approached her was shouting and very clearly knew her... Asking where their Pokemon were...
"I don't know... I can't find Charmeleon or Alex or Aku....," she coughed, her eyes closing tight for a moment in what looked like an attempt to focus on something, anything... His voice... She knew his voice from somewhere... She never forgot anything in her life, she remembered every detail right down to the hairs on someone's head that was passing by...
"Andy...," she breathed then after a moment, and there was a crash in the distance and a resonating roar from a distant battle, but Emiri looked up to him again in question.
"Andy...? It's you... You weren't here...," she struggled then, her memories clashing with each other and becoming difficult to discern, but there was another crash, and the very ground beneath them shook as the skeletal remains of an Aerodactyl landed hard on the ground down the street from them, giving an airy screech of a roar. The impact was enough to cause Emiri to start, and in one manner or another she had a moment of clarity as she looked up to Andy again. She stood on shaky legs, dirtied and covered with dust and dirt from the debris of the city as the Aerodactyl roared again, and she in her frantic state did the best that she could in grabbing Andy's arm and running off through the streets, trying to get out of the fray and turned into a narrow alley way. She coughed again, her head pounding and her eyes glazed and teary, but she looked at Andy again, really looked at him as though if she were trying to discern if he were real or not.
"My memories... You weren't here... Are you real," Emiri asked then after a moment, trying to make sense of what was happening... On some level, she could recognize that this was her memory... She was seeing the memories of what happened in Pewter City those years ago but Andy... Andy wasn't there, she never met him until just recently... What was he doing in her memories, and why was he reacting this way...?

Keeping a level and steady pace so as not to lose either Emiri or Andy whom was dd over his back, Kovu ran through the city streets in an attempt to find any kind of secluded area of some kind for them to keep safe for a little while. He wasn't familiar with Pewter City, he had never been and couldn't recall any specific areas of interest, but his keen senses allowed him to take turn after swift turn to lead them away from the hub of the city. Pewter was smaller than some cities, and more spread out along the northern corner of Kanto, so it wasn't long at all before walkways and buildings broke away for the dense forest landscape that surrounded them. They were at the edge of the city now, not quite in the wilderness of the northern parts of the region, but Kovu was certain that they hadn't been followed and were a fair ways away from any trouble that might have followed them. Zaron all the while kept a steady pace with Kovu, keeping track of their entourage now as they had a whole gaggle of smaller Pokemon following along with them now, all of the Pokemon that belonged to the human Andy that lay just as still and unconscious as Emiri did on the black dragon's back. As much as Zaron was growing not so fond of the Pokemon already, he knew it would be in poor taste to leave any of them behind, especially since they had no notion of what exactly was going on. If the roles were reversed, he would want them to show kindness and understanding for what had happened to his human, so he had to digress. His minor frustration, but mostly concern was stemming from the fact that Nimbus' psychic power had intervened and melded with Emiri's own subconscious power, and that was a situation that they had never encountered before. He himself was the only supernaturally endowed Pokemon that Emiri was traveling with for the over four years she had been traveling, they'd never had to even consider something catastrophic like this, and the uncertainty of it was concerning to Zaron, he wasn't sure what was going to come of this.
The group gathered now, Zaron made sure that no one was left behind, even Nimbus who brought up the tail of their group, still quiet and reserved now from what had happened. Zaron could just feel the shift in his demeanor, his mental energy, and he felt both sorry for him, and that it served him right for messing with something he was ill prepared to handle. Zaron had been with Emiri through just about everything that she had encountered almost from the beginning. She found him on that terrible island where the worst of her perils took place, and since then he had been the only one that came close to understanding the things in her mind and how her subconscious works. It was years of observing, helping, taking the time to understand what had happened that got him to be as involved with her mental state as he was, and even still there was very little that he could do in his power to alleviate anything that she went through. Nimbus was unaware of anything that they had encountered before, and that was both in part of not wanting to scare him and burden him with the weight of their troubles, and that they didn't exactly share their experiences with others out of the sheer joy of story telling.
"Nimbus, we might need you to aid with your power to fix this, but you can't do that if you're dwelling on what happened when you intervened with Emiri," Zaron tried to say as the group reconvened and the ghost helped Kovu take Emiri and Andy from his back to lay them on the ground. He looked down to them, and still they were both unconscious and unresponsive, but he could tell that their subconscious minds were very active and very potent as a result of what had happened. The Marill still was fuming and enraged about what might have happened to her human, and the ghost could understand, he just wasn't sure that they would understand when he began to explain on any level what did in fact happen.
"Emiri isn't the cause of this, but it is because of her endowment that it happened. Nimbus was attempting to alleviate something with his psychic powers, and when his power converged with Emiri's struggle, this was the result," Zaron began, there was no blame or fault to be given really, but it certainly didn't need to be pointed at Emiri and he was going to see to that. He digressed though, knowing that he really couldn't beat around the bush with something like this.
"Years ago when Emiri had started her travels, a terrible series of events was taking place all over the world, and one of those events happened in Pewter City, which was cause for her to become upset when you came into the City," the ghost started, really unsure of how best to explain any of what he was about to say.
"During these perils, the guardian of time, Dialga, had come forward to Emiri, for reasons unrelated to the trouble of the world, but he became a guardian to her in that time to aid in what was taking place. Dialga was trying to show Emiri what was happening, convey to her that things were only going to get worse if they couldn't stop things in time, but in trying to communicate with her, Dialga accidentally exposed her to his intense power," he continued, though knowing by now as soon as he had made mention of Emiri's past guardian, he was sure that the Marill especially wasn't going to take this as an explanation for what happened to her human. They deserved to know though, whether they believed him or not because this now involved their human.
"Since then, Emiri's 'power' if you want to call it that, has developed into something that she was not prepared to take on in her life. Her memory is infinite, and will be that way for the rest of her life. She can recall everything she's ever seen, heard, felt or experienced in vivid detail as though she is actually living that moment all over again. What this has done for her though is bring to light all of the traumas and perils that she has faced because she can't forget anything now, even if she wanted to. Her vivid memories transcend beyond her subconscious mind when she is in a stressful or familiar situation, and they become real to her, real enough for her to lose track of which reality she is living in that moment and struggle between what is real and what is a memory," the ghost went on, looking down to Emiri then.
"When that Kabutops attacked, it triggered one of her greatest traumas, she was losing touch with this reality. And when Nimbus' power intervened, her subconscious mind was too powerful for him to keep contained, thus capturing your human's subconscious mind in that moment. Right now, they are both physically unharmed, but their mental state is trapped within whatever alternate reality Emiri's memory was creating for her," he finished, knowing it was all a lot to take in, but they asked, and deserved to know despite his better judgement that he shouldn't have divulged so much information.

There was so much that Emiri didn't understand about what was going on around her, she couldn't grasp any one concept to begin making sense of it before she thought of something else, all snowballing into a terrible menagerie of confusion and strife that she was struggling with deeply. The sounds of battle still went on around them as she had drug Andy into an alleyway to keep away from the attacking fossils, explosions went off here and there, Pokemon cries could be heard in the distance, and the sound of bones scraping together raced past them every now and again, all creating such a chaotic environment that Emiri couldn't make sense of anything. Nothing was as it should be... She couldn't find Aku or Alex anywhere... Ivysaur could be cornered by a fossil and she didn't know where he was... She was worried about Charmeleon, there was no telling where the fire type had run off to if they got separated... But then the figure of Andy beside her pinched her in her dazed and terribly confused state, and she flinched at the feeling of him reaching out to touch her. She looked at him then, almost as though she had forgotten he was there, but her wide bleary eyes focused on him, really focused in trying to figure something out.
"You're here... But you weren't here... This was five years ago...," Emiri struggled then, gritting her teeth together in a sort of anguish as she shook her head, tears stinging at her eyes all the while.
"The Kabutops...," she coughed, tryng to make sense of anything, trying to remember and recall anything that she could about Andy... There was a flash of scythes... Kovu rushing forward when the fossil attacked, and then she heard her own scream, and a terrible piercing pain all over again...
"You see what's happening.... You saw the fossil.... You're here in my memories...," she said then, like a realization, but it came with disbelief and horror that showed on her features as she looked at Andy. Just then though at her realization, there was another crash, and dust and debris showered into the alley way they were standing in as a Kabutops fossil struck at the sides of the buildings with its scythes, screeching and starting to rush towards them. Emiri panicked again and grabbed Andy, running out from between the two buildings to try and find somewhere else to go, all the while trying to make sense of what was happening and why Andy was there, experiencing her memories with her.

Taking a silent vigil now over their surrounding area that they had chosen to settle in for the time being, Kovu was going to make sure that nothing came that would cause any more harm or trouble than had already happened. He sniffed the air and listened with his keen ears, making sure that they had not been followed, and despite his reluctancy in letting Emiri go and laying her motionless body on the ground, he knew that unfortunately there was very little that he could do. He wasn't born with power like the ghost Zaron, he was much more a physical being than anything on a supernatural plane, but he didn't like the idea of being so helpless to the situation all the same. What he did know though is that he didn't want the baby around Nimbus for now, since this all came to be because of the mouse's clash with Emiri's mind. The dragon was struggling with the notion of not blaming Nimbus and lashing out at him for what he had caused, he had grown to trust the electric type already, he knew that he wouldn't hurt Emiri intentionally... That aside though, Kovu took care in moving towards Nimbus with a small snuff, and gently took the baby Chifaera up from the surface of his tail. The baby had been upset and disturbed through the whole ordeal, he remained curled tight on Nimbus' tail with wide eyes, and Kovu was certain it was because he could feel the distress of the situation and the uncertainty of all of the surrounding Pokemon. He placed the baby on his back to take him away from the Raichu for now, and stood among them then to keep watch over the area and make sure that nothing else came to harm Emiri and the human Andy.
Nimbus through this hadn't moved, had hardly even blinked after what had happened, closing his eyes only brought on more vivid visions of what he saw in connecting with Emiri's mind for the first time. He had never seen such terror, had never felt such trauma before, and he couldn't determine which was worse of what he had experienced. He knew that there were things Emiri and her Pokemon hadn't told him yet, they said there were terrible things that they had experienced together, but he couldn't have imagined anything like what he encountered with Emiri's mind. He was still and quiet among the group of Pokemon still, barely cogniscent, and trying to process his mentality, but he listened to Zaron's words as the ghost began to explain more of Emiri's condition and what kind of power she harbored. Nimbus could have never fathomed that something so strenuous could have happened to a human, but knowing what it was that her mind and subconscious were capable of now did make a lot of sense in explaining what had happened when his power converged with hers.
"A legendary in human form? She's nothing of the like," Zaron answered then as the few Pokemon whom were all new to being accquainted with Emiri took a moment or two to process what he had just divulged to them. He could understand that it was all going to be difficult to take in and make sense of, but he felt it necessary to answer any questions that they might have.
"Emiri is very much human, but she harbors a special connection to the diety Dialga because of how overwhelming his power was to her, and thus she has abilities similar to that of her long time guardian," the ghost went on, looking down to the few Pokemon. The Chansey posed the most pertinent question of them all, but it was one that Zaron was still trying to figure out due to this sort of happenstance having never occured for Emiri before.
"I'm not sure... It was only in recent times that Emiri was coming to terms with her abilities and beginning to truly understand what she was capable of. She managed once to break herself out of the worst of her memories in gaining conscious thoughts through her nightmares, and being able to discern that what she was experiencing was wrong or impossible. It was a breakthrough for being able to finally make her conscious mind stronger than her subconscious memories, but this....," he sighed, glancing to Nimbus and back down towards Emiri and Andy.
"With Nimbus' power interference, its possible that made this alternate reality for her all the more real and far more powerful to break away from," Zaron grimmaced.

Running still with no notion to stop, Emiri gripped Andy's arm like a vice in not wanting to let go of him as she rushed through the city streets. She knew every street corner and every walkway of Pewter City, she had spent hours battling those fossils the first time those years ago... The memories were all rushing back to her again, she was losing touch with her conscious mind as her subconscious memories were pushing through, and she stopped running with Andy in the middle of the street, looking around in a panic.
"I can't find Aku... He would be able to help me...," Emiri whimpered then, losing touch again and delving further into her memories. She struggled then, glancing this way and that, looking for something, anything that would help her in the middle of this peril, but nothing was making sense to her... Her memories were running rampant, and all at once the dust riddled and chaotic surroundings of Pewter City began to melt away, changing all at once as though the environment had never been real in the first place. Emiri didn't pay the changes any mind, instead she was holding her head in her hands and trying to focus on just one thing at a time before the streets gave way to Celedon City now. Rocks and giant boulders were scattered every where now, devastating cracks and divets in the ground, gaping holes in the sides of buildings, the city looked just as worse for wear as Pewter City had not moments ago. There was nothing to be seen however that could have caused such destruction, but there was a stiff breeze that blew through the city street, carrying cold, almost frigid temperatures with it. Emiri coughed at the sudden change, her breath coming out in clouds in front of her face, but at feeling the chill bite at her skin, she broke back into another moment of consciousness. She looked up with her wide brown eyes, and just as she remembered Articuno flew over head, ice and snow falling from its outspread wings. The bird was seething in anger, and gave a shrill screech into the air, and Emiri knew what was coming next as she turned back to Andy.
"Watch out," she coughed, bracing herself against the cold as Articuno came over the buildings, opening its beak and releasing a stream of ice that immediately began to freeze and coat the street in buildings in a thick layer of ice. Emiri ran with Andy, gaining enough of her consciousness in that moment to remember that he was there with her, only just managing to evade the ice that spread over the entire city block, effectively freezing it over.
"I don't know how this happened...," she struggled then, grittng her teeth as pain ran through her head at having to exert herself like this, but she glanced at Andy again.
"This is only going to get worse... I'm sorry Andy....," Emiri sniffled then, tears lightly falling down her cheeks. She didn't know how to tell him what was happening... But she needed to do it quick before she lost touch of what was real and what wasn't again...
"Your subconscious mind is trapped in my memories with me... You're seeing what happened five years ago..... I didn't know something like this would happen or I would have told you.... it's dangerous being with me.... I'm sorry...," Emiri sobbed lightly then, trying to make herself make any kind of sense to even begin to explain to Andy what was going on, but her thoughts were jumbled and her focus was waning, but most of all she was so sorry that she had done this to Andy somehow...

With the baby nestled on his back now, Kovu kept a steady watch over their surrounding area in order to make sure that nothing more was going to come for Emiri and the human Andy, but listening to Zaron's retelling of what had happened to Emiri those years ago caught and diverged his attention. he had heard the story before, knew of his teammates most dire perils in the beginning of their travels, but hearing it over again, just this small part of a whole, much more traumatizing, story still left him with a snarl on his jowls and sharp eyes. It was nothing light to talk about, Kovu saw the worst of Emiri's episodes when she got swept up into her thoughts and memories and felt her pain, he could see it in her eyes every time she was slipping away. Zaron spoke of all the uncertainty of Emiri's condition, how long it's been and how much time they had spent trying to work on keeping it under control, but Kovu felt that Emiri was only getting worse every day. Every time something traumatic like this occured for her, it took her longer and longer to dig herself out of the darkness that her nightmares put her in, and that didn't seem like progress. He worried that one day they would lose her for good to the realities in her head... And he wasn't sure that there would be anything that they could do to help her.
Hovering over the two unconscious humans, Zaron looked down at them and tried to sift through the power emanating from the intensity of Emiri's memories and nightmares, but on the surface it was far more power than he had ever experienced from her when she gets sucked in through one of these episodes. It all had to be due to Nimbus' power interference, being so ill prepared for what he might encounter. A being like Cronus with such power was more than capable of combating and leveling with the kind of power that came from the deity Dialga, and he had done so on many occasions when they were having trouble with Emiri's consciousness, but Nimbus' power in comparison was hardly capable of doing so.
"It was a bond at first, after Emiri had accepted what had been done and it was determined to be irreversible. It's changed so much about her in recent times however...,"
"It is a curse... And I made it worse...," Nimbus breathed then, his voice trembling and his eyes still wide and distant as he glanced at the fire type. Despite his ultimate desire to forget everything that came with connecting with Emiri's mind, he couldn't help but feel responsible for what had happened... And in a way he was since he didn't have any idea in what he would be converging with... The Tangela spoke in a quiet question, wondering if what he had done could be undone... But Nimbus had no way of knowing, he wasn't even sure if he had the strength to delve back into what he had seen and collided with in order to help... It scared him to no end.
"I... I can't go back in there... It's getting worse, I've never seen anything like it....," Nimbus breathed in a trembling voice. He could feel the energy coming from Emiri, he could tell that things were getting more and more traumatizing the longer she was trapped... He saw so many horrible things in just the split second that he had connected with her mind... He didn't want to revisit them or see anything worse than the monster that he caught just a glimpse of... Zaron however looked up at Nimbus' mention of a monster, and while there were so many that he knew they had faced, there was one in particular that he knew Emiri would never have forgotten even without such a vivid connection to her memories.
"Nimbus, we can't let that come to light, that monster is the root of everything that Emiri fears," Zaron tried to urge. He wasn't sure what would happen if Emiri got to that point in her memories, especially in such different circumstances, he wasn't sure if she would be strong enough by then to face it again and be able to come out of her subconscious prison.

There was nothing that Emiri could really say in that moment to express how distraught and remorseful she was that she had somehow done this to Andy... This was something that she could have never fathomed happening despite her... capabilities being as unpredictable as they were. She always thought that anything regarding her bestowed abilities would only ever affect her since it always stemmed from her own subconscious, but she was sorely mistaken now that Andy was experiencing the worst of her nightmares... They had only known each other a short time, but she had almost started to like him and traveling with him, how normal everything felt with being with him... He was never going to look at her the same way again after something as traumatizing as this... And she couldn't control it. Waning in and out of focus on what was really happening, Emiri knew what this was all going to culminate to, but she didn't think that she had anyway to stop it. This was going to end on that mountain summit, facing against the darkest monster of her most vivid nightmares.... And she was going to be powerless to stop it....
Andy was handling this all about as well as Emiri could expect, he was scared and frantic and nothing made sense to him, and Emiri couldn't blame him in the slightest since she couldn't explain any of this to him very well, not in the state that she was in. She was fighting so hard to stay with him, to keep her focus on him being there with her instead of giving in to reliving these memories, but there was a shout in the distance, and Emiri could swear she saw a Wartortle run by the walkway they had turned off on, and she turned to run towards the turtle, knowing that it was the one that belonged to Aku... But Andy's voice caught her attention again....
"I... I-I don't know.... Things always seem so real here... I don't want to risk getting hurt....," Emiri tried to say then, resisting the strongest urge that she had to run off into the city street, swearing that she could hear Alex in the distance somewhere in their fight against Articuno...
"I can't.... I'm sorry, I can't keep track of what's real and what's my memories... I keep seeing things... My friends...," she tried to say, knowing that it couldn't be long before she lost focus again and gave in to the memories she was living, this was all so much strain on her consciousness...
"I can't control things here... My memories are going to keep going.... It's going to get worse, and I don't know what will happen...,"

Standing at the head of the area they had stopped in to tend to Emiri and the human Andy, Kovu found himself unsettled and frankly disgruntled as he looked down to Emiri with sharp green eyes. He snuffed and snarled with hunched shoulders and heavy steps as he paced back and forth, his sharp thick claws digging into the earth and leaving gouges where he stood. His tail swept over the dirt, deliberate and swift in his movements, knowing that the longer this took, the further Emiri was slipping away. There was always a part of him that made him wish he had been there in the beginning, maybe he could have changed something about what had happened during that time that things today would be different. He knew it was foolish and fueled by his protective nature, but in times like this he almost resented his teammates for not having done more in that time to help Emiri so that she wouldn't become so hurt by things like this. He resented the guardian Dialga for what he had done to her, he resented his teammates for letting her go through such a horrid peril, but he also resented himself that he wasn't there then and couldn't help now. He by no means was endowed with powers of the supernatural, he couldn't make things float or delve into the minds and thoughts of those around him, not like Zaron could or how he knew Nimbus was capable of. Kovu snuffed at the thought, wishing that there was something more that he could do, but like many of Emiri's Pokemon and his teammates, he was only a physical being with physical prowess, and to know that he was powerless in situations like this was all the more daunting.
Trying to assess the situation the best that he could through the inexperience that he had with such a convergence of power, Zaron looked down at Emiri and Andy on the ground as he lofted above them. He should have known that seeing the Kabutops would have brought Emiri into the darkest and most recessed parts of her memories, the parts that she tried to keep tucked down further than the rest, and that was why this was taking such a toll on her. At Nimbus' words, it was clear to him that this was all going to lead to that Arceus forsaken mountain summit where Emiri would come face to face again with one of her greatest nightmares, and he wasn't sure what would come of the trauma flooding back to her in the midst of such power. The ghost glanced though at the few Pokemon that came with Andy, the Chansey posing a question that he was ill prepared to answer, but if it did truly get that far and Emiri couldn't control what her memories were putting her through, it was very likely that Andy would experience the monster of her darkest nightmares, and they should know what they would hear from him.
"I wish I could say it was far less impactful than it was, but I'd be leaving you in a false security," Zaron sighed, though in that moment he was unsure of how he was supposed to even continue. It really was the stuff of nightmares, the root of all evil, how does one describe something so terrible and purely terrifying?
"There are powers, forces, things that exist beyond our world with abilities that could only stem from the darkest recesses of reality. An ancient lore was brought back by a terrible, monstrous human years ago in an attempt to... rewrite the wrongs of the world as we knew it. A weapon, a blade that transcended this plane of existence already was imbued with the powers of time, space, and distortion, and from it came a force that none of us were prepared for...," the ghost explained. He was careful in his words, there were so many details and events that followed and came before this that didn't need to be brought to light, and it would do no good for them to find out who was involved.... Though in Emiri's vivid memories there were only a handful of individuals that she really truly did have a distaste for, and it was almost inevitable that they would make an appearance if it got too far.
"From another dimension, another realm maybe, the blade was a gateway for something much more sinister. There really are no other words to describe it other than what it truly was...,"
"A monster...," Nimbus choked, his eyes distant still and his voice shuttering behind his words. In the brief moment in time he had connected with Emiri's mind, so many thoughts and memories flooded into his subconscious that he was unable to stop it, and he saw so many things that came with Emiri's memories... Including the monster of her nightmares.
"A brutish creature, yes, huge in size and capable of things that no one of us could have fathomed. It was feline almost, but distorted by power, covered in rotted flesh and matted fur with scales and a serpentine body from its back. It had tattered wings and cracked horns, and claws and teeth that weren't just capable of ripping through anything it came into contact with, but the very fabrics of reality itself... In the end, it was defeated, but its impact never left..." Zaron sighed, his hands dropping slightly from his figure hovering in the air.
"None of us were the same after that. Where our memories have faded some over the years, despite the pain of the endeavor never quite healing, Emiri lives with those memories every day... And in times like these, they become all consuming...," the ghost commented, almost in some form of defeat in knowing that for the last four years while Emiri had been living with this burden, he had no breakthrough in being able to aleviate even the smallest amount of trauma that she experiences.

Despite her awareness of what was happening around her, knowing now that she was existing in the midst of her memories in such a case of trauma, there were still so many things that Emiri couldn't discern or figure out how this all was coming to be. In trying to maintain some semblance of consciousness, trying to keep her focus from waning into the memories of her vivid past, she was trying to discern what was so different about this time than the other times that she had been trapped within the power of her nightmares. Things felt different... She couldn't pin point exactly what it was that felt different, but it was more than just Andy's consciousness being there with her and being aware of what was going on... She tried to think, tried to remember what happened before she found herself in the dusty city streets of Pewter City... But Andy was trying to figure things out just as much for his own sake, and having to divide her attention so much was causing her to lose track of what she was trying to focus on. Emiri's bleary eyes glanced back down towards the city street where the Wartortle had passed, her gaze solemn and her demeanor hurt at Andy's question... It had been so long since she had seen Aku... Even if it was in her own memories, it would be nice to see him again...
"I haven't seen any of my friends since this happened... I miss them all so much, it feels like they're here because of my memories...," Emiri choked then, but in her swirling thoughts, having been trying to recall anything that happened leading up to the Kabutops attack... Realizing that she was in Pewter City all over again.... Emiri winced and held back a scream at a pain that came to her mind, flinching in the embrace of Andy's arms as she shuttered. Her memories flashed, she saw Kovu against the fossil, felt the pain of it all becoming too much, but then there was a blinding pain that struck her mind, and she heard a soft voice...
"Nimbus..." Emiri breathed then, trying to come back to grips the best that she could as she looked up to Andy. Nimbus was the only thing that was different, he was the only thing that hadn't been constant over the last few years, the pain that she felt, the reason that this all felt so different, it was because of his psychic powers.... That's why Andy was here with her...
"I think Nimbus' power is what caused this... He was trying to help... He didn't know what would happen," she mentioned through a shuttering voice, but knowing how this happened didn't make her feel any better with the notion that her subconcious powers have never converged with the likes of psychic abilities such as his... There was no telling what was going to happen now... And she was right, she couldn't control it... The cement walkways and buildings of Celedon City began to shift and change again, melting away into the recesses of Emiri's memories, and she held on to Andy now in fear of what was going to come next. She watched in an almost out of body experience as her own memories flashed before her with nothing that she could do, and within moments the city was gone and there was nothing but dust and dirt beneath them now as Emiri held back tears at looking out upon the mountain summit of that Arceus forsaken island...
"I can't do this.... I can't do this again...." Emiri coughed through tears as the sky and clouds swirled around them, a terrible flash of lightning streaking through the sky before the booming thunder, and then there it was... The screech of two incredibly powerful Dragonair that moved swiftly through the air, the cause of the torrential storm that was encompassing the entire mountain summit as they came down upon the dusty ground. They held fire in their throats and bared their fangs, enraged and empowered at the command of Emiri's greatest enemy, but she only had the mind to run and hide behind one of the boulders that rested on the ground there, unable to face them again.

Lofting on his tail in a sense of one of the only securities that he could hold onto, Nimbus could only listen to the words that Zaron had to spare about the monster that they had faced those years ago, but he couldn't have wanted to know anything more about the gruesome image he had seen from Emiri's memories. Just seeing it was enough, vivid and terrifying, but hearing about the sheer power that it held and the distorted ways it weilded its unmeasureable strength was truly horrifying. There was no telling what a monster like that could truly be capable of, if it were to lash out in its full power against the fragile fabrics of space time, but Nimbus didn't want to think on that at all, it was just too terrible a thought... The Raichu looked on though through his distant eyes, he could feel Zaron's growing worry and Kovu's hostility and anguish, but through his own fear and pain upon coming into contact with Emiri's abilities, he didn't think he could bring himself out of his paralyzed state to do anything. Zaron though looked to the small group of Pokemon, sorrow on his face at having to recount the events that were still to this day causing them such strife, it was too much for them to bear, the ones who experienced it first hand, he didn't want to bring that burden upon anyone else.
"It's never been that simple I'm afraid," the ghost sighed heavily as the Chansey spoke in urgency of releasing them from Emiri's nightmares.
"Emiri's mind has never been a strong one, she's always been feeble, easily taken advantage of, and it shows in times like these... Her compliancy and docile ways give in to the realities that she slips into, its only been in recent times that she has been trying to become more self aware, but with Nimbus' added power, I'm not sure what will happen...," the ghost went on. Nimbus however, remaining quiet and still on his tail, looked down to Emiri's motionless figure with wide blue eyes as Zaron was trying to work things out in speaking aloud. There were still flashes of Emiri's memories going through his mind, the things that she was trying to force away in her time of weakness, but he felt a shift in her, a pain that emanated from what she was experiencing, and there was a flash of dusty ground and swirling storm clouds, and Emiri's scream...
"She's getting worse... I can feel it...," Nimbus whispered, glancing down to Emiri's figure, his ears falling at the sides of his head and his paws coming together in a nervous clutch. At Nimbus' absent words though, Zaron looked to the Raichu, his eyes wide with concern.
"What do you mean that you can feel her getting worse," the ghost asked then, wondering what the Raichu might have meant, though the white mouse was still hard pressed to become near as vocal or animated as he usually was. Instead, he looked up slowly from Emiri's figure to the group of Pokemon, almost cowering on the flat surface of his tail.
"There's a mountain... And a horrible storm... It's dark and there's so much fire...," he choked then, his eyes distant as though he were watching something far away. Zaron though knew exactly what the psychic type was describing, and he was terribly spot on for having not been there those years ago or never being told the story...
"You're seeing her memories too... That's what happened four years ago," Zaron concluded, thinking fast now as he looked down to Emiri and Andy.
"We might be able to get their subconscious minds free from Emiri's power... When Nimbus converged with Emiri's abilities, he must have become connected to her subconscious mind as well, but because he is a psychic type he is capable of deviating from that effect, but that doesn't mean that he's immune to it," Zaron explained then to the Chansey and Marill who were at the forefront of wanting their human Andy out of what had happened.
"You're seeing Emiri's memories as they're proceeding through this alternate reality that her subconscious has constructed, that means that you have a link to her in this state that I don't. I can't get through to her when she's been consumed by her abilities, but you might be capable of reaching her and Andy and breaking the hold on their subconscious minds," Zaron went on then, finally figuring out how they were going to bring Emiri and Andy back to this reality, having been so unsure the entire time how this was going to be possible.

Just as it had all unfolded years before, the battle against Lance's fierce and ferocious Dragonair erupted on the mountain summit surrounded by the heavy storm clouds they brought on with their power, and Emiri knew that she wasn't going to be able to take much more of this. She knew what was coming next, what was going to transpire through her memories, and she knew she wasn't ready to face that monster again, not in such vivid detail... The Dragonair were ruthless just as she remembered, their attacks were brutal and their strength was unparallelled as they raced through the air, but as tears ran down her face Emiri was not watching the dragons in the air, instead she was hidden behind a boulder, trying to make it all stop... She heard Andy's voice in the near distance over the sounds of the storm, but she couldn't focus on him, not when things were becoming so muted and muddled to her. One of the Dragonair roared in the air and they both rushed through the sky, and through the clouds where the thunderstorm had taken over the entire mountain summit, a whipping sandstorm started up at their command and power, streaming over the mountain summit. The sand began to sting at Emiri's skin, and her hair rushed in any direction the wind caught it, but she wasn't paying attention. Instead she tried to focus on anything that she could, her bleary eyes struggling to look out from the sandstorm that rushed over them. She caught sight of Andy hiding behind another boulder... She recalled and remembered that he was there with her... In her blurred realities she moved over the dusty ground towards him, knowing that they had to stay together through her memories, she couldn't imagine what would happen if they got separated.
"I can't stop this... I'm sorry... I think Nimbus' power made my abilities stronger... Stronger than I am...," Emiri coughed over the winds around them, having figured by now that the reason things seemed so different in this reality than past times she had been drug down by her abilities was because of her convergence with Nimbus' power, he was the anomaly...
"It's getting harder to remember that you're here... My memories are getting stronger... I'm so sorry... I never meant for any thing like this to happen," Emiri spoke through tears, unsure of how much control she had left over her waning consicousness.
"This is the place where my worst memories come from... my nightmares are because of what happens here...," she shuttered, struggling to keep the one thread of herself in tact for Andy's sake. There was another roar from the Dragonair, one of them came down towards the ground with a heavy thud, and there was a shower of rocks that flew through the air.
"Look out," Emiri cried then, clutching Andy's arm then in an attempt to move them out of the way, but at that very moment she had heard her own voice over the sandstorm, like an echo almost, and Emiri looked out to see Azuran flying through the air and just in time for him to get struck by the devastating power of the other dragon's fire. The flame burst beneath him and rushed over his chest and the underside of his wings... Those burn scars were still prominent on his scales even years later... The Aerodactyl screeched at the searing pain and started to fall through the air, and Emiri felt her breath leave her.
"Azuran! No," she screamed, giving in to the pain of her memories, not being able to bear seeing Azuran get so hurt all over again, and she let go of Andy's arm as she ran towards the heart of the battle, only trying to get to Azuran's falling figure.

With the notion that they might be able to break Emiri's subconscious long enough for her to escape and come back to this reality, Zaron was trying now to think of how to instruct Nimbus to navigate through her abilities. He shouldn't have been exposed to all of this so soon and in such dire straights, but the ghost knew they also didn't have much time before the worst of Emiri's nightmares came to her as Nimbus had described the mountain summit in which they had to battle Lance just moments before. At his realization however, the explanation that he gave in trying to make sense of things both for himself and for all involved, Nimbus only looked at him with wide eyes and his ears sunk against his head.
The ghost was desperate now though, as was Kovu whom could only stand idly by and watch Emiri suffer and struggle, he couldn't bear Emiri to be trapped like this any longer. Zaron looked to the water type though, he could feel the worry in her tone, knowing first hand what something like this could do to a person...
"It's very possible that Andy won't be the same after this... I won't burden you with false hopes... I only knew Emiri for a short time before the worst of these events took place, and I wish terribly that I could have met the young human she was before. But that doesn't mean that he won't still be Andy. He'll have you all here still, and that will help him push past anything that he's experienced," Zaron tried to say, despite the uncertainty of it all.
"In a way, and as difficult as it might be to believe, these things that we've experienced both with Emiri and together have made us closer and stronger together... I'm sorry, I know this isn't how you might have wanted to grow closer with Andy, but just be there for him, for support and don't let anything change, and he'll come around. All of my best memories with Emiri come from after what had happened in her trauma... Good times are still ahead, no matter what's happened," the ghost smiled softly, trying to be as reassuring as he could to Andy's few Pokemon.
"We'll get Andy out, and he'll be back with you, and if it's something you want to consider, I do know a psychic type that could take these memories away, just a thought," Zaron offered, more as a joke than anything else, trying to make things just a little more lighthearted, knowing the Mewtwo Cronus probably wouldn't come to the aid of another human, but if Emiri asked really nicely, he might consider.
"I can't go in there... I can't do it...," he uttered then, having been able to understand just what it was that Zaron was getting at. In his soft demeanor then, Zaron looked up to the Raichu with an almost mortified expression, but that did not make him any less imposing as he looked on to the electric type.
"Nimbus you have to, that's the only way to break Emiri's subconscious long enough for her to come back to this reality, you're the only one who has the capability to do that right now," the ghost hastened, hardly able to believe that Nimbus wouldn't help. Kovu too snuffed and snarled at the notion that the electric type was going to do nothing to help Emiri, his teeth showing beneath his jowls.
"I can't... I've never come into contact with something so terrible before... It's too much...," the Raichu cowered, clutching his paws together in fear of even thinking about experiencing something like that first hand...
"Nimbus, we don't have time, after Emiri confronts her darkest monsters, if it becomes too much for her, I don't know what will happen, she could be trapped in her subconscious forever because it will make her too weak to free herself with your power intervened with hers," he spoke sternly then, but that only made Nimbus cower further, and Zaron was almost afraid the mouse would run. He wasn't trying to blame Nimbus, he didn't know and they should have told him of some of the things that were different about Emiri, but right now it seemed like the cause of all of this was their only solution...
"Please Nimbus... Emiri cares so much for you already... She won't resent you for what happened here, and I know you care for her just as much too...," the ghost pleaded then, only wanting to have the human whom he'd grown so close to back from her tragedies.

The line between reality and her memories was becoming so blurred, Emiri wasn't hesitating to run towards Azuran who got struck by the Dragonair in a heavy breath of fire, she couldn't bear to watch it happen all over again as though it were happening for the first time. She could hear the sound of Kaya and his Pokemon there with her, she really was on that mountain summit again and Azuran was struck down by those fierce dragons, she wanted to go to him and return him to his Pokeball so he wouldn't have to get hurt any more... She was rushing towards him, but in an instant she was thrust backwards, something catching her in her haste. She struggled for a moment against the arm holding her, fighting like a child trying to get out of the grasp of their parents.
"No Kaya! I have to help Azuran," Emiri screamed, struggling still, but Andy's voice only just managed to catch her attention and she stopped as her vision blurred, Azuran was no longer on the ground sprawled out with singed wings... She turned back to look and see, it was Andy that was holding her and trying to bring her back towards the boulders they had taken solace behind...
"You're not Kaya...," Emiri coughed then, looking up to Andy whom stood beside her, but her eyes were distant, and they focused past him to the stormy sky that had engulfed the mountain summit, the sky was changing... Just as it had before... Emiri's face dropped, her skin grew white and almost cold to the touch, and she turned in abject horror at knowing exactly what was going on as in the center of the mountain summit that ghastly blade floated in the air, glowing an eerie, sickening green...
"I'm sorry Andy... I never meant for any of this to happen... I should have never said I'd come help you...," Emiri sobbed then, unable to stop the nightmares of her past from moving forward, no matter how much she didn't want them to keep going... That piercing light emanated from the blade, and in that moment they were no longer surrounded y the dark storm clouds, but the vast expanse of Dialga's realm where Lance had taken Fuschia, Vermillion, and Saffron City, all floating and frozen in time in the shifting expanse.
"I'm sorry I did this to you...," she apologized, though her eyes were fixated on the blade that lofted in the center of the summit, a putrid smoke wafting from the hilt, green and almost sentient the way it slithered over the ground, and Emiri knew what was coming next...
"I don't want to do this again... I can't do this...," Emiri trembled, watching the blade, she knew that it was only seconds away from that monster revealing itself... There was a shutter from the blade, and a gutteral, feral and distorted roar, almost demonic as it echoed over the mountain summit... This was just her memories, this was just her memories and things that happened in the past, but no matter how much she was trying to tell herself that it didn't take away from her impending fear of being face to face with that monster again... This was her nightmare... This was her nightmare... Just like Andy said...
"NO," Emiri shouted through the echo of the roar, and she felt a jolt in herself that made her weak as she stumbled into Andy, but just as if time itself had frozen, everything around them stopped, and everything was completely still.

There was incredible pressure now on the Raichu as he lofted there on his tail, the only sense of security he had now as he stared back at Zaron. The ghost was persistent and adamant that he was the only link, the onl possibility of getting Emiri released from the nightmares that were holding her, the notion that she and the human Andy could be trapped forever in her subconscious was threatening. Nimbus wasn't taking too well to the chiding, he could feel not only Zaron but Kovu beside him growing aggressive at his inability to help, a friend whom he'd thought he'd made amongst Emiri's Pokemon, but then Zaron changed. His tone was pleading and his demeanor almost defeated... He had grown to be rather fond of Emiri already, and he knew that she cared so much for him already like she did all of her Pokemon... He could understand now that the reason that she didn't let him in, the reason that she didn't want to bring up any of her past was to protect him, protect him from the pain and turmoil that their past had caused them all... His thoughts were clouded, he couldn't focus on anything, but he looked down to Emiri's motionless body and the human Andy that laid beside her, and his ears fell. He could feel her pain... He didn't want to be the cause of such an eternal struggle if he left her there, and this was his doing with his power convergence...
"Nimbus, please... They need their trainer too, you're the only one who can save them both," the ghost breathed then, unsure of how else to make Nimbus understand that there was no other way for them to help the humans. The ghost was hard pressed to reach out for outside assistance, he knew the Mewtwo Cronus was powerful and most likely capable of such a feat, but his help never came easily, there wouldn't be enough time for them to get past the lecturing and interrogation on what had happened. Nimbus was terrifed, hesitant, cautious and confused and everything in between as he looked down to Emiri and Andy, but he couldn't just dismiss Zaron's plea. Emiri was the only human that he felt like he had grown close to in his life, and he didn't want to just give that up in favor of trying to spare what stability he was struggling to hold on to... Emiri and her Pokemon lived with this and bore these memories every day... If they could do it, he should be strong enough to do it too... Nimbus was trying to muster even just one thing to say, he still couldn't wrap his mind around everything that was happening, but there was a split second shift that he felt, a jolt of pain almost, and it made him recoil with a cry as he fell off of his tail, holding his head in his paws.
"What happened, what's the matter," Zaron hastened, lofting through the air as he rushed towards Nimbus' trembling figure on the ground. He knew it had to be something involving Emiri, their minds were connected in this moment in time due to his power, but the fact that Nimbus was over come by such pain didn't lead him to believe that it was anything positive...
"I felt Emiri... She's there... But she's in pain," the mouse stuttered through pain and gasps of air, trembling on the ground now because of the intensity of the power he felt.
"There's a void... and all of her pain is focused on a sword in the middle of the mountain...,"
"Nimbus, there's no time, you have to get to Emiri now," Zaron urged then, reaching forward with his hands and grabbing at the Raichu's paws, just trying to make him understand. The electric type still trembled and shook at Zaron's grasp, his eyes wide and glossy now with tears that were starting to form, but he felt the urgency in Zaron's gaze, and couldn't let it go.
"Okay... I'll try," the mouse breathed after a moment, knowing Zaron wasn't meaning to hurt him, he was only trying to do what was best for Emiri and Andy. There was no telling what was going to happen if Emiri had to confront her worst fears all over again, trapped and knowing that there was no way out... It wasn't worth finding out. Zaron released Nimbus from his grasp as he hovered away from him, only hoping that this was going to work.
"You're connected to Emiri right now, whether she knows it or not, she's been giving you glimpses of her memory and what she's experiencing right now. That gives you the intel of knowing where she is in her subconscious, you'll be able to find her and Andy," Zaron tried to encourage, knowing that this was a lot for Nimbus to have thrust upon him at once, depending on how in tune he was with the psychic part of himself. He was only trying to give the mouse the best guidance that he could for what was probably going to be a difficult delve into his psychic power. Nimbus didn't have any other words for what he was about to do, but he looked to the few Pokemon that were concerned for Andy, knowing that they were counting on him now just as much as Zaron and Kovu were. The psychic type moved on the ground and climbed onto his tail, a grounding for all of his psychic energy, and began to focus. He closed his eyes, and remained still, and Zaron knew then that Nimbus was reaching into the recesses of his psychic powers to find Emiri's subconscious.
"He'll be back... He's going to bring Emiri and Andy back," Zaron encouraged then to Andy's few Pokemon as Nimbus fell silent, looking to Kovu whom moved forward solemnly to wait, looking down to Emiri's motionless figure with his wide green eyes.

In a moment of weakness, exerting so much of her being, Emiri stumbled and fell into Andy whom grasped her hand tightly upon the surge of power that took over the mountain top. She gasped for breath as she coughed through the sobs that she couldn't suppress at the trauma that was rearing its face all over again, struggling to gain any kind of composure through the haze that took over, but through her glossy eyes and trembling she looked out to the mountain summit of her greatest nightmares. The last thing she remembered hearing was that roar, that terrible distorted demonic sound of a roar that was threatening to rip through the fabrics that the blade held together, but now there was nothing but silence as she stood there with Andy, not even the slightest movement of dust along the dirt ground where they stood. Emiri looked, frantic almost, trying to figure out what happened, this had to be some trick, some diversion that the beast was putting up to get the better of the trainers that were there on the mountain summit to fight for their lives, but she didn't remember this... This wasn't what happened...
"What happened...," Emiri breathed after a moment, trying to discern what was going on, she couldn't recall that she was the one that she was the one that made time in her memories stop, but that didn't make this any less unsettling for her... Whatever it was couldn't last, the monster would rear its head in the end and that would be it...
"Emiri," there was a shout in the distance, like an echo, the voice sounded familiar... She couldn't remember where the voice was from... But then there was a crack and a shutter from the blade at the center of the mountain summit, her focus was broken in that moment and her nightmares were gaining the better of her now as there was another thundering crack that rang through the very fabrics of time and space itself. The smoke was billowing from the blade, spilling over the ground until it began to manifest into taking shape and solidifying as it began to grow and become more shapely. There was a paw first, huge and matted with rotted fur, and massive claws and Emiri knew that it was too late... The beast was coming, she would be face to face with it and that would be the end of everything that she knew, and she brought Andy with her in this terrible nightmare...
"Emiri," she heard the voice again, it was clearer this time and more distinct, but full of distress and terror as it rang out through the mountain summit.
"What is that, do you hear it," Emiri asked then, frantic as she gripped Andy's hand ever tighter, afraid that if she let him go she would slip into the terror of her nightmares. The smoke continued to flood out of the blade, gaining more mass and shape still as legs began to form from the giant clawed paws that had formed in the dust on the ground, and Emiri feared the worst that she would still come face to face with that monster again if she couldn't focus herself. She hardly understood that she was the one that had stopped her nightmare from moving forward, but when her focus had been broken from the voice that called out to her, she lost that control. There was another roar that echoed over the mountain summit, through the void that surrounded them, but Emiri could feel something beyond the fear and horror that she had been going through since slipping into her memories, something familiar, something faint, something that didn't belong to what she remembered...
"Emiri I'm here," came the voice once again, more prominent now, and Emiri turned to find a flicker of movement, something she didn't remember or recognize, but in that moment she remembered a blue and white Raichu... How was he there? The smoke had continued to move from the dimension the blade belonged to into the world of the mountain summit, and from it emerged the monster of Emiri's worst nightmares, the rotted creature with decayed wings and matted fur and it stood tall above them with souless eyes and dripping maw. It roared again, its fangs bared and snarling as it looked around, and just the glimpse of it that Emiri got was enough to shake her to her very core, but she felt something tug at her, something soft, and she looked away from the monster to find white and blue fur beside her again.
"We have to go," the Raichu cried, and she could feel how frantic and terrified he was, not just in his words but as though they were connected somehow... The ground shook and rumbled beneath their feet as the beast took a heavy step forward, and with its giant wings it snarled and flapped them, sending forward that all too familiar icy hot wave of energy that was powerful enough to take down her guardian Dialga... Emiri was hysteric at this point, she knew this was the end, but she looked at Andy, she couldn't bear to lose him through his like she had lost some of her friends... And the Raichu...
"Nimbus...," Emiri choked then, and there was a flash in her memory, beyond the nightmares that she was living... This was her nightmare... These were just her memories... She remembered seeing Kovu here once, but he wasn't there those years ago when she fought this threat the first time... The wave was getting closer still, Emiri could feel the heat and the chilling cold as it swept towards them...
"Emiri please," Nimbus cried again, trying to pull her and Andy in a direction that wasn't facing the on coming wave...
"I won't let it hurt you," Emiri breathed then through a sob, feeling herself go weak at the notion, but she focused all of her energy and trembled at the exertion of it, and the wave stopped in its path towards them and her memory started to break around them. In that moment, there was another jolt from Emiri and there was nothing for a moment before their subconscious minds were released from her power, free from the confines of her nightmares.

In this moment, knowing that Emiri's subconscious and her conscious being rested in Nimbus' paws was something that Zaron was hardly able to settle with in the circumstance that came about. He had a feeling the psychic type was far more prominent in his power than he might realize, but that only meant that he wasn't as developed with that part of himself as he could be. That was really no one's fault, but when it came down to him being the only link to Emiri's conscious self, the only way that could break her nightmares, the ghost wasn't sure if this was the best option for them to take, for everyone's sake. He was certain that Nimbus would not be the same after this, and it really was something that he knew he was going to feel the weight of. That was one of the biggest reasons why Emiri was so hesitant to bring Nimbus along with them despite how fond she had grown of him, she didn't want to take away from the happy life he had lived and what he could experience in the future without such weight to carry, but there was no way of knowing that she would have reacted so terribly to being in Pewter City. The only solace that the ghost could take in regards to Nimbus now is knowing that the mouse would now be in similar company, those who have come to learn how to cope with these traumas on one level or another. Hopefully this would not make him come to resent them, and they would be able to help him like they help each other, but there was no certainty on that.
Kovu kept close now, having been unable to do much else but wait on the sidelines of this ordeal while those with more supernaturally inclined abilities took the lead, but now that there was even a chance of Emiri being able to come out of this and be back with them, his undivided attention rested on Nimbus as the mouse took a chance to delve into her subconscious. Despite the chaotic and frantic nature of the environment around him, or that the frantic nature had become almost exhausting to him, the baby had since fallen asleep in the dip of Kovu's neck and shoulders curled up against his contrasting black scales, which was giving the dragon the time that he needed to pay attention to this crucial part of the circumstances. He was concerned for Nimbus, the cry he had given in falling off of his tail was truly painful, and while he couldn't know that kind of pain himself on such a non physical level, he was certain he could attribute it to some of his most severe traumas and know that Nimbus was hurt in that moment.
Everything was quiet, there was a stillness over the group as though any movement would disrupt the fragile nature of what Nimbus was trying to do, unsure and unaware of what was truly going on within the confines of Emiri's nightmares and powerful subconscious, but there was a hope that they were holding on to and couldn't let go of in the notion that Emiri and the trainer Andy could be okay.

There was silence, everything seemed to stop, but Zaron and Kovu turned to watch as the human Andy began to animate and come to through the hold of Emiri's nightmares, and with a groan and a cough he was sitting up on the ground only to be swarmed by his few Pokemon. Kovu's ears moved at the notion that Andy was awake, and Zaron was relieved to see that Nimbus had actually made it through Emiri's subconscious in order to find them. However, looking back towards both Emiri and Nimbus, neither had moved in what seemed like an eternity since the human Andy began to come to his senses, and Zaron was becoming deeply concerned. He had felt the jolt of energy from Emiri's being, something must have happened through Nimbus' interference with her subconscious mind, it was a strain and power that he had never felt from her before, and he only hoped that it hadn't harmed Emiri or Nimbus in their convergence of power. Kovu was getting antsy, he was huffing through his nostrils and his wings twitched at just the mere thought of Emiri never waking up. He looked at the human Andy with sharp green eyes, almost in resentment for coming out of their state first, but he only looked down to Emiri again with a chuff of breath, unsure of what was going on. Andy had started to animate, he was coming to and starting to interact with his Pokemon, but then there was a shift and Nimbus gasped on his tail in a terrible fit of trembling as he fell off of his tail again almost as though he were trying to get away from something. He looked mortified, his eyes wide and distant, his breathing was erratic and he trembled on the ground where he landed with his ears flat against his head.
"Nimbus, it's okay, you're not in Emiri's nightmare any more," Zaron tried to console, knowing that it was going to be a lot for the electric type to take in with having never experienced the things that they had in their past. The Raichu looked around frantically, trying to find any sign of the monster or the attack that had been threatening them, but did find the calming surroundings of Pewter City where he had been just moments before. He still trembled though, and it was going to take time for him to make sense of what had actually happened, but Zaron didn't have time to waste, knowing now that Nimbus had managed to escape.
"Where's Emiri? What happened," the ghost asked then in a more stern tone, not able to contain his disgruntled feelings about what was happening.
In the moment that everything had gone black, the exertion of her energies and what strengths she did have taking far too much of a toll on her, Emiri didn't have any consciousness left to know what had happened or how it had come to be that her nightmare started to shatter around her. Her realities were mixed and jumbled, there were strains of other memories flashing by, but she heard somewhere in the distance, something that resonated through the skewed timelines of her thoughts, a familiar voice asking where she was, and a faint apology from a voice she had only just gotten to know. Struggling to pull herself through the myriad of images flashing through her mind, Emiri felt a pain, something far more physical than she could ignore, and it was the pain in her chest from not breathing in the moments between breaking through her nightmare and becoming lost in her subconscious thoughts. Emiri coughed then, and there was a flood of light that came to her, the pain in her chest from taking in so much air now bringing her back to a more conscious state. She gasped for air, moving on the ground in a panicked struggle, blinking furiously in not knowing where, or when she was, but at her movements Zaron and Kovu moved immediately towards her to try and bring her out of the terrified state.
"Emiri! Emiri it's alright, it's alright you're here," the ghost tried to say to get through to her, trying to get her to come fully to this reality through her haze. She was still coughing, and had moved to sit up on the ground in what could have been an attempt to run from whatever she might have been experiencing, but she was weak and could barely manage to sit up straight before almost falling back to the ground. Zaron caught her though, and while she flinched at making contact with something that she couldn't make sense of in that split second, she blinked again and finally started to come into focus with her surroundings.
"Nimbus you did it, you brought them out of her subconscious," Zaron breathed then, and while they could only be cautious at best about how Andy and Emiri, and even Nimbus now, were going to be able to recover after what had happened, the ghost was able to feel relief at knowing that they weren't lost forever.
"Your human is going to be okay now. The mental strain that he might have gone through will take some time to get through, but physically he should be fine," the ghost tried to console in the few Pokemon that had gathered around the human Andy while Kovu moved forward and nearly went through Zaron to get closer to Emiri, sniffing at her as his steady breaths brushed through her hair.

Trembling on the ground now, struggling to breathe and keep any semblance of conscious thought straight in her head, Emiri looked around frantically with bleary, distant eyes in the mid afternoon with little idea on what happened. There were so many images moving through her mind, so many memories that were flooding here all at once, her timelines were still becoming skewed and intertwining, and now it seemed that her memories were twisted with this new subconscious reality that she had just gone through. She could see flashes of Pewter City, but there were over lapping images, almost as though two movies were trying to play on the same screen. Aku and Alex were still there in her memories, but then she would hear Andy's voice at two different points in the same memory. It was disorienting, she was almost struggling with three different realities now in trying to bring herself out of her memories, but she felt something moving beside hesr that she hadn't been able to focus on until she felt a constant and persistant force washing over her, moving her hair with each second, a breath that was panting and snuffing at her, and then finally a soft cry.
"Kovu..." Emiri breathed then, blinking furiously for a moment as tears started to come to her eyes, but she was trying to focus and trying to bring herself back to just one reality, to the real time she was living. At the utterance of his name, Kovu's ears went flat against his head and his eyes grew wide as he came in closer towards her, ever careful and gentle but he couldn't contain himself as he got lower to the ground, trying to get as close to her as he could. He nudged at her with his muzzle, softly but persisitently nuzzling into her torso before she coughed again and raised an arm, being able to feel his smsooth, warm scales beneath her fingers.
"Kovu, give her some time to breathe," Zaron tried to say, in vain he knew since the dragon had a way of being just a bit over bearing when he knew that Emiri was in some kind of trouble. He didn't listen though, only laying himself on the ground as his tail swept over the dusty ground, inching closer and closer still. Emiri however looked up at the sound of Zaron's voice, finding him just above her, but she was confused and disgruntled, what had actually just happened?
"Zaron... What happened," she asked then, but there was so much uncertainty in the question itself as though even asking what happened was beyond answer and realizing. She could see flashes still, hear voices... There was a Kabutops, and a terrible pain... And then she could hear her own voice talking, trying in vain to explain something that she couldn't make sense of now... What was she trying to say to Andy in her nightmare...
"We'll talk about it later... Right now we need to make sure everyone is alright," Zaron sighed after a moment, knowing it would be a lot for Emiri to take in now in this state, still flitting between realities. At Zaron's mention of everyone however, Emiri's mind flashed to another voice that she could recall in her nightmares...
"Nimbus," she coughed then, remembering the Raichu coming to her in her nightmares, trying to keep her and Andy safe from the monster that would have surely finished her within the confines of that reality. Emiri looked frantically and found the Raichu curled up on the ground, his head tucked in his paws and quivering with mumbles and soft cries. He had gone into her subconscious to save her, despite what it would do to him... But Emiri choked up at knowing the Raichu would never be the same after this...
"He saved you Emiri, I'm not sure that without him when your power converged with his that we would have been able to break your nightmare," Zaron said gently, trying to ease Emiri's concerns, but it was the same as always, knowing that the ruined the life of another innocent Pokemon who hadn't even been a part of those events those years ago. It was traumatizing, it changed her and her Pokemon for the rest of their lives, she had wanted to spare that from anyone that she could. Emiri looked from thet ghost to Nimbus though as she struggled to hold back sobs, moving carefully and slowly towards him on the ground.
"Nimbus," she whispered, reaching out towards him tentatively, but she didn't even get to make contact with him before he cried out and recoiled at the notion that something was coming towards him.
"It's coming! We have to go," the Raichu cried out, trembling now on the ground as he scrambled away, and in that moment Emiri's heart broke. She could feel his pain, the anguish that he was going through, and it was all her fault...
"It's a lot to take in Emiri... Just give him some time, you probably have some residual energy about you as well, he might just need some space for a bit...," Zaron tried to console, feeling Emiri's terror and how distraught she was over doing this to Nimbus... Her attention was so confused and tangled that she almost didn't hear Andy's voice, but she turned after he had had a moment to his own Pokemon, and his question was one that she wasn't prepared for.
"Give us just a little bit of time Andy... There are some things you need to know about Emiri, but she just needs to calm down after what happened," the ghost offered hesitantly, knowing now that he would have to explain all over again what it was that made Emiri who she was again after explaining it to his Pokemon.

That first day afterwards, settling on the outskirts of the city, Zaron had done well to bring Charizard from her Pokeball in order to give Emiri the comfort that she needed to start coming back from her terrible subconscious and had begun to explain things to Andy so as to give Emiri a bit of time away from those kinds of thoughts. The ghost explained much of the same things to the trainer Andy that he did to his own Pokemon, that Emiri possessed abilities akin to her guardian Dialga because he shared too much of his power with her, and it was something that she still had very little control over. All of the events that she had gone through, the traumas that she faced were all very vivid and real to her despite having happened months or even years ago, creating an ever vast and ever growing expanse to her memory that never quite made things easy. Nimbus' power converging with her own was the breaking point that created such a powerful distortion of reality, and what had caught his own subconscious in the fray because of his proximity to Emiri at the time. Had there been no interference, she might have fallen into that reality herself and struggled to break out, but having two subconscious minds trapped and with her inability to control her own mental state, it created a powerful alternate reality that they had been trapped in. However, despite all this, knowing that it was a lot to take in, Zaron was still hard pressed to go into detail about the day that had triggered Emiri's greatest trauma with the encounter against the Kabutops. Given time though, Emiri made it a point to explain things herself, telling Andy the story of arriving in Pewter City all the way through to defeating that monster at the top of the mountain summit. It took her time to get through, and she struggled to keep even the slightest traumas at bay in her mind, but Andy needed to know what he had become witness to, even if it meant reliving it again and again for Emiri. It wouldn't be fair to him to keep him in the dark, she wasn't going to lie to him and pretend that nothing happened.
It was about a week that the two of them had spent in and around Pewter City by this point, trying to gain some sense of self after what had happened much to Emiri's dismay. She was a bit better now given time despite the sleepless nights that had come to her, but spending time with Andy and getting to know him more was helping bring in a sense of knowing how far away those memories were. They spent some time training around the city, Emiri continued to work on Charizard and Kovu's flying to keep bringing them back to where they once were, but despite how normal Emiri was trying to make things, she knew that Nimbus was still in a state of trauma and terrible fear. She hated having done that to him, he shouldn't have gone into her nightmares, but she had to thank him for saving her and Andy, they might not have made it out without him...
On the outskirts of Pewter City, Emiri stood with Kovu and Charizard as she worked on some wing stretching with them to keep their muscles conditioned, with Andy close by with his few Pokemon of whom she had also come to know very well. While she kept a few things to herself, like meeting Ho-Oh at the end of their fight on the mountain summit, Emiri did divulge to Andy that likewise with her extensive memory, because of Dialga's power, she was able to communicate with Pokemon without the aid of psychic type Pokemon or otherwise, thus she had come to know Andy's few Pokemon a bit more personally. She felt better about telling him these kinds of things as opposed to keeping it a secret, but she knew that it had all been a lot to take in for him.
"What did you feel like doing today Andy? Did you want to go out and train some more," Emiri asked after a little bit, having known that with Zaron's advisement they stayed around the city so as not to strain themselves after what had transpired, but Emiri was getting antsy again in staying in one place for too long, especially somewhere that harbored so many negative memories for her. Maybe today they would feel up to traveling somewhere different, getting away from Pewter City and what it now meant to both of them, to start to try and forget the things that had happened.

While Emiri stood with Kovu and Charizard on the outskirts of Pewter City, she had also received the same invitation that Andy did about a ball for the royal family of the Kalos region. Despite her initial aversion to receiving an invitation of any kind, and to a ball at that, Emiri just didn’t feel that she would be socially ready to attend something that was being broadcast to the entire world it seemed. There would be far too many people there, and she just didn’t have it in her to be a part of something like that, the social stress of it all would be too much after what she had gone through. She was still having sleepless nights, she had done so well in recent times trying to keep her worst nightmares at bay. For a time she thought that she was actually starting to get a grip on things, being able to coexist with the monsters that thrived in the deepest recesses of her memories, but it was all for not when that Kabutops had attacked. The last thing she had ever wanted to do was relive that terrible day, to see that monster, that demon, again… It was all rather daunting, if she really thought about it. Time healed all wounds, even trauma, but in her case time was the one thing that was keeping her trapped in these constant past realities. If given enough time, those wounds, those traumas, should have started to fade and become more and more distant, less painful, but even years later Emiri felt as though it was just yesterday that she had managed to make it off of that island with Aku…
Despite her denial of the invitation, it seemed that Andy wanted to attend, and Emiri could understand. Anything to get him away from Pewter City, but she hoped that it wasn’t also anything to get him away from her… She didn’t mean to have put him through what happened, just like she didn’t mean to traumatize Nimbus who had been linked to her in that time. Regardless of his true reasons or not, Emiri said goodbye to him, knowing that they would likely find each other again soon once he might have taken some time to himself after what had happened, which left her with her two dragons, and Nimbus who was playing with the baby that had continued to grow more and more apt at walking on his paws.
”Hey,” Charizard spoke after a moment, leaning down towards Emiri’s figure where she stood still after watching Andy disappear with the help of an Abra that was sent to tend to guests for the ball. The dragon leaned forward and nudged Emiri’s back with her muzzle to get her attention, moving and laying down on the ground now with her wings folded back and her arms folded beneath her. She craned her neck as Emiri turned to look up at her with distant brown eyes, there was always so much going on behind her eyes, it was difficult for Charizard to see sometimes because she knew how pained Emiri was because of it.
”You know, it’s not a bad idea to get out of here. We need to get some distance,” Charizard growled softly as she looked down to Emiri, Kovu moved forward with a purr, and nuzzled up against Emiri with his muzzle in a way of agreeing with Charizard.
”I don’t want to stay here either… Can we go somewhere else,” Nimbus chimed in, his voice tentative and soft, but through the days they had been spending in recovery with each other, Emiri felt that he was getting just a little better. Knowing that he was not alone, that so many of them had experienced what he had, it was allowing him to keep things out in the open and not feel like he had to bottle everything up, he wasn’t isolated. The Raichu was right though, Emiri didn’t want to stay around Pewter City any more than the rest of them did… It was probably a good idea to put some distance between them and what had happened, but where would she go?
”Where do we want to go,” Emiri asked then after a moment, moving forward as the baby had come up to her with his head raised, sniffing at her with his sparkling white muzzle. She smiled softly as she stroked his soft fur, his thin tail sweeping across the ground. If only she knew where he belonged, they could go there and help find more of his kind… Charizard was contemplating, they could always go anywhere in the world that they wanted, but Emiri stopped and stood up straight, feeling something shift around her. It wasn’t drastic, and it wasn’t strong, but it made her hair stand on end, like something had changed.
”Emiri, what is it,” Charizard asked with a snuff, having seen Emiri’s sudden change in demeanor. Something just felt off to her… She couldn’t quite explain it.
”I… I don’t know… Something just feels wrong,” shse answered, but before Charizard could press for any information, Emiri’s bag attached to her saddle began to shake and rustle, almost violently with force before Racion, the strange creature Flareon had encountered when they were on that reserve, burst from his Pokeball. Kovu hissed at the suddenness of it, immediately going for the baby as he pulled the Chifaera in closer to him, but Emiri and Charizard both had their attention on Racion now who was in such an aggressive state.
”What’s going on,” Charizard growled then, standing up on her back legs to look down at the creature.
”No, Charizard don’t get aggressive, it will only make things worse,” Emiri tried to say as she moved quickly, coming to face Racion who was grunting and growling and digging his claws into the ground.
”Racion, please, you have to calm down, focus on me,” she spoke then in an even tone, trying to get in front of him in his erratic motions, trying to get him to focus. She knew she could communicate with him on a level when she had his full attention, he just had trouble focusing and coming out of whatever aggression or rage he was in. This time though, he wasn’t calming down, no matter how many times Emiri tried to reach out to him or hold his attention, there was something truly upsetting him and causing this behavior.
”What do we do,” Charizard asked then over his growls and cries from beneath the thick metal of the cage on his head, worried that he was only going to become more aggressive, more so than Emiri could handle. In an instant he stopped though, dead in his tracks, standing completely still as he stared off to the west. Emiri got in front of him then, trying to get his attention as she looked into his eyes, but she stopped when she noticed they were glazed over and digitized almost, like he was some kind of computer…
”Wha… Racion, what’s going on,” Emiri stumbled then, unsure of what was happening to him, but in an instant he lunged past Emiri and took off in a run, but he was gone within seconds, moving far faster than any one of them could have fathomed he was capable of.
