Deadeye felt terrible about what had happened to the Litten and Machop. Why his trainer didn't seem to feel the same way was beyond him though. She only looked mildly irritated about something regarding the device she was holding. When Cyren took to holding the little fire starter the Rowlet chirped hopefully and jumped up onto his shoulder. He hoped that the male human didn't mind the fact that he had invited himself onto his shoulder - he just wanted to keep an eye on his friend after all! "He was really mean to the both of you. I wanted to help but... I don't think humans do things that way." The little grass type picked at his feathers while they walked, shuddering at the mention of being bitten by something so strong. He envied the litten and her ability to continue fighting such a strong opponent, especially after what it had done to the Machop! "I hope he is nicer now that he has a trainer like yours.." The Rowlet managed absently at one point during their trip, bouncing off of Cyren's shoulders the moment they entered a building he was certain they had been at earlier this same day.

Growling audibly when he didn't answer her question regarding whatever it was he had just captured, Llonora quickly began to stuff her things back into the bag she carried. Whatever their mother had sent them was probably only going to upset the girl but when your only other option was to spend the night outside you did what you had to do. "Maybe it'll be some money. Or a rental car. I would be okay with either at this point." Standing and taking the last of her things from Cyren, Llonora heaved a sigh and began to follow her brother back the way they had come. She hated a lot of things, but somewhere towards the top of that list was wasting time. And this was definitely a waste of time for her. By the time they reached the Pokemon center, the majority of her temper had simmered, causing her to learn around the side of her brother just outside the door and peek at his Litten. The cat had fought very hard she assumed - even without actually watching the battle. "She's gonna be alright, yes?" The question was sort of moot at this point, but at least she could say she had tried to be empathetic. "Yeah, yeah I know. I'll grab whatever stuff she sent me." Strolling to the counter and removing one Pokeball after another, Llonora patted the spot beside her a few times until the Rowlet seemed to get a general idea and perched itself onto the nurse running the center, causing Llonora to wriggle her nose. It wasn't what the owl had done, it was the response the nurse seemed to have to it. She would never understand how some people thought bird type Pokemon were 'cute'. "Did she send you anything Cy?" She called back after taking the small box from the nurse and thanking her promptly. He was paying attention to his Pokedex which meant there was a good possibility he was looking up whatever Pokemon he had just captured. By the time she sat down next to him and opened the box however she had completely lost interest in anything that had happened prior to that moment, her face becoming slightly paler than it already was while she stared down into it's simple contents. This was the opposite of a gift. "Why?"

If Llonora heard anything that her brother was saying, it didn't show. The woman picked up the first Pokeball, noting the tag on it carefully and adding it to her belt. One of the last times she had been outside in her hometown was on a forced trip to the aquarium. Despite the terrible mood she had been in all day, seeing some of the water Pokemon had made her smile just a bit. This was no doubt her mother's attempt to win her over with the prospect of 'adventure'. Honestly, it might have even been a cute gift had she not also had to remove the other ball bearing their family's insignia on it. The moment she wrapped her fingers around the capsule she had to resist the urge to start crying. Why had she thought this would be a good idea? Unless she hadn't - in which case Llonora hated her even more now. After retrieving the other strange item and tossing it into her bag, The woman turned her attention to Cyren just in time to watch the prehistoric Pokemon latch onto his leg. She wanted to say something snarky, or brag about how money could get even the rarest of Pokemon for them... But she couldn't find the words. Instead, she shuffled towards the counter quietly. She didn't want Cy to begin questioning her so the best place for her to wait at the center was probably right where she could retrieve the others. "Thank you." She stated calmly when her team was returned, her eyes watching the Rowlet who seemed very happy to see her only a moment before returning it to its ball as well. She didn't have the patience for Deadeye right now. 'Why would you do this? Do you hate me?' She thought to herself while she returned to where her brother sat, simply staring at him until he seemed to have made his own assessment, one that caused her to grip the ball in her hand so tightly she was hoping it would shatter into pieces. "Whatever. Are we sleeping here?" The small female finally asked when she found that she could manage it in some semblance of a normal voice. She thought she had finally gotten rid of this thing. And yet here it was. Without waiting for a reply, Llonora walked the few paces to the nearby bench across from her brother, settling herself down along it's length and wrapping her arms around herself - careful not to release the Pokemon she was holding. She did not want to face what was inside that ball, and if she had it her way... The thing would never see the light of day again.

Turning the Pokeball in her hand over several times very slowly, Llonora seemed to go into a bit of a daze, her green eyes blankly staring at the plain wall opposite the far end of the room. Clearly this was not an adventure she had been sent on to help her 'get better'. As far as she was concerned it was entirely possible her mother was trying to get control of the company in her absence, and whilst doing so decided to add insult to injury by sending her this nightmare. After a time she rolled herself over so that she was facing only the back of the bench, though she continued to stare thoughtfully. "I miss you daddy." She half whispered to herself, not bothering to lift her head when she felt a slight additional weight next to her. Anyone with half a brain knew that her brother was attempting to comfort her, the jacket that followed only adding to her conclusion. She could have thanked him for his kindness, sure- but the way Llonora saw it, Cyren was part of the problem, not the solution. He knew what she was carrying with her, but he didn't understand the half of it with his near-decade absence. "Y-yeah. I'll be here." The woman cringed and rubbed herself closer to the back of the bench when she heard how pathetically her voice had cracked. Her father would not have approved of her condition as she was. After a bit of time had passed and she found that staring both staring and thinking were doing her very little good, Cyren's younger sibling turned over again, though this time onto her back, her eyes wandering over the Litten cuddling up to her. "If every pokemon was as loyal as you were, I wouldn't be here right now would I?" She asked the feline, lifting that same ball she had refused to let go of and running her fingers over the engraving there. If she really wanted to she could throw it into the ocean, it wasn't like there wasn't a plethora of them available to her in this place. "Or...Hm.." Her eyes swiveled over to her much larger sibling, studying him curiously while he stood at the counter for a time in thought. The man looked like he had seen some good things during his eight-year absence if his general physical appearance was any indication... And some bad if what appeared to be a large scar jutting out from under his tank top was as bad as it appeared from here. Cyren didn't like their father, he hadn't even gone to the funeral. But maybe if he liked strong Pokemon he could be convinced to take this burden off of her hands. "I'm not that lucky." She muttered, reaching up and attempting to pet the Litten gently.

Watching the Litten was actually improving Llonora's spirits to a very small degree- though not because she felt some type of connection to it, it was a cat. But simply having something to look at and focus on helped enough that she eventually managed to yawn where she was, staring up at her big brother while he covered her with a blanket. "Thanks Cyren." She stated plainly, considering far too late that the least she could have done was given him his hoodie back. Unfortunately, that was a task she felt less and less up for with each passing moment, to the point where the woman ended up removing the jacket just so that she could use it as a pillow. The Litten was sleeping and if she lost her, she would lose the only distraction she had for the evening. While she continued to pet Rhea, Llonora's attention occasionally drifted to the other bench, watching Cyren while he did...whatever it was he was doing on his phone? Probably studying some pointless nonsense about the area or it's Pokemon. "Hey Cyren?" She asked eventually, lifting the little Litten just slightly so that she could once again reposition herself. All this walking all day and all she wanted to do was stop. But now that she was finally laying down, the only thing she couldn't do was sit still. While she looked at him expectantly, waiting for him to humor her - Llonora realized that any of the possible questions that she had for him were only going to cause one or both of them some anger. And so she sighed, forcing the very smallest of smirked and finally setting the Pokeball she'd been holding for well over an hour into her bag on the floor. "Never mind. Goodnight." Tomorrow would not be better, not for her anyway. But at least if she tried to sleep she just might somehow find the patience to deal with it. 'I just need to find a way to get back home. Maybe this is all just a really vivid dream. Maybe I'll wake up in my room.. in my nice... comfy..' Llonora started to drift off, pulling the blanket to her chin and yawning. If she could just wake up in the morning and find that ball missing she wouldn't complain for the rest of the trip.

No matter how used to sleeping in an oversized and overpriced bed she may have seemed, the girl was no stranger to sleeping in strange places back home - and comfortably at that. In fact, had her Rowlet not burst from it's Pokeball and attempted to cuddle up next to her and the Litten, she probably would have remained asleep well after noon. The still half sleeping female groaned against the call to reality even while her body tried to notify her that it was being touched, causing Llonora to roll over the side of the bench and onto the floor with a not so nice thud. "I'm UP!" She whined, rubbing her back a moment while both Deadeye and Rhea struggled beneath her, the panicked noises of both Pokemon frustrating her into jumping up and growling angrily. "What is your deal?! I put you in that Pokeball for a reason Deadeye!" As one might expect - she was far from a morning person, her scolding forcing the owl to ebb away and squawk in confusion. Once she shook off the remainder of her sleep and pressed both of her hands against her hips, Llonora began to look around the center, her eyes following a path that lead her to a simple conclusion. Cyren had left her behind. "Ugh... I swear if he leaves me in this god foresaken place by myself I will castrate him pers- wait. Why are you still here?" She asked the little fire type as if it could respond, crouching in front of the Litten that had kept her company, apparently all night and reaching out to scratch under her chin. Birds were not something she could do, but cats weren't so bad.

"I just wanted to cuddle too!" All night. All night he had spent cooped up in his pokeball while the Litten had got to spend time with his trainer. And he had been so patient about it too! But he needed to absorb the sunlight to stay strong for her and she was scolding him for it? Chirping reluctantly at Llonora, Deadeye was more confused than he had ever been - they had made progress last night, or so he had thought. "Are you okay?" He asked Rhea once they had both escaped from under the human, hopping back a few paces to give the girl some space but puffing his feathers out immediately when she began to pet Rhea. He didn't understand what he was doing wrong. "Why does she like you so much?!" He chittered a bit more angrily than he probably meant to, turning his back on both Llonora and the litten in favor of fluttering over to the window. Maybe she had never meant to choose him, but that was not his fault, right? He opened his wings wide and went quiet at the window cill, taking in the sun and feeling it warm his body while he tried to ignore them both. His trainer's oddness was beginning to irritate him now and if she did not want him around than the least she could do was let him leave.

Producing a mixture of near inaudible cooing and chittering while he absorbed sunlight, the Rowlet seemed to go still as a statue where he stood. He was frustrated by his trainer's inability to do anything remotely nice for him. He thought he had done well - he saved her from two rock types and even brought her a rat! What was not to like about him?! By the time Deadeye heard Cyren's voice rejoining the group, he felt fully charged as far as his grass quills were concerned, his head spinning backward while he observed the group. "Why couldn't I have gotten a trainer that likes me? Like him?" He half squeaked in a depressed tone. When Cyren approached him, Deadeye hopped and rotated it's body so that it was fully facing the male, flaring his wings while he tried to communicate in vain to the human male. "She doesn't LIKE me! Lo-no-rah hates me... Why can't anyone understand that?" he cawed, moving his body up and down in what probably looked like a very urgent dance to the trainer. He wished he could talk to them like some of the other Pokemon could... If he could express himself than maybe he could at least understand what it was that made her so distant! With the bird equivalent of a sigh, the little Rowlet leaned forward into Cyren's head pat and began to nuzzle his open palm and wrist gently for a few moments. Of course, he did not latch onto Cy, simply taking the momentary affection and using it to calm down before he clicked his way down the side of the window frame and returned to staring outside. He was a nice man, but he was not Deadeye's trainer. Rhea had no idea just how lucky she really was to have someone like him.

When the feline began to look more than a bit upset Llonora attributed it to the fact that she had sort of squished the both of them upon waking, continuing to scratch along Rhea's neck and chin for a few moments before glancing at the Rowlet in the window and sighing. This thing was either way too sensitive, or pouting beyond belief over the fact that it had just been scolded. Either way, she tried to pay him no mind, retrieving her phone from her bag and sitting on the floor by the nearest wall outlet in an attempt to gain some sort of charge before they set off. No doubt Cyren had not abandoned her yet - he would not have left without his little kitty cat. "What the-" Grinding her teeth together when she laid eyes on the message her mother had sent regarding the received packages, Llonora leaned her head back against the wall and set her phone down. She had almost gone a full fifteen minutes without remembering what had happened last night. "This is gonna suck so much." She muttered - snapping attention to her brother's voice when he entered the Pokemon center. She wanted to scold him too for leaving her in such a place unattended! It wasn't like everyone in the region was bound to be friendly to a sleeping girl on the bench of a pokemon center! But before she could open her mouth, the girl's stomach began to growl - reminding her that she had not eaten anything since the day prior. Food was an acceptable reason. "Just got up actually - Stupid bird jumped out of his ball and scared me into consciousness. Don't bother with him right now, he's just mad I scolded him for it." By the time she had stated this, Cyren had already handed her a bag of food and was right over next to her Rowlet, causing the female to roll her eyes and snort. He really was a bleeding heart type, how had she not known that even at a younger age? As much as she wanted to tell him to leave Deadeye alone, the dark haired girl was much more interested in the food he had brought with him, the building saliva in her mouth forcing her to lick her lips while she tore into the assorted goods hastily. If he wanted to baby the bird that was fine. She was going to eat and get her strength back before she dealt with the biggest problems of her day, the likes of which the Rowlet fell short.

"She can't understand you. She can't understand either of us." He stated glumly while the Litten nuzzled against him. As embarrassing as it was for the little owl, his compulsive need to mimic others caused him to lean into the fire type and nuzzle her right back, though Deadeye squawked when he caught himself and shook his feathers shortly after. "Look at the way she looks at me... She doesn't like me at all and I don't know why. She is weird but... I'm trying!" He whined, watching the little cat dig into the pile of food they had been left. Whether he was going to fly away from Llonora or try a little harder to make her love him - he knew he would need to be strong. So he adjusted his round body and turned, plucking at the food and bobbing his neck in typical bird fashion. Not having teeth was very unfortunate. "I like you too... I am sorry I yelled at you, I didn't mean it." The Rowlet cooed softly to show he meant what he was saying, using her beak to 'boop' the Litten back gently.

Growing up in a large household had some strange contradictions to it. On one hand, she had a lot of money so she could afford nice clothing, on the other, Llonora didn't have to impress anyone and so she generally chose to wear either sweatpants of comfortable dresses at home. The same could be said with food - while she was trained to eat like a lady during family events, But also instinctively liked to devour her food as if it was always going to be the last meal she ever ate. 'In this dump? It could be.' She mused in thought, biting into what appeared to be some type of fried dough. At least it tasted great. Llonora glanced up from her meal when Cyren spoke, replying with a mouthful of food despite herself. "Why are we going then? You know I wanna get this stuff done Cy." She swallowed her current bite and placed the rest back into the box it had come in. There was no way of knowing if they would actually find anything else to eat on the way and so it was probably a safer bet to save some of her scraps for later. Llonora pressed her palms to the floor and used them to push herself up, walking over and snatching up the rest of her things - including the dreaded Pokeball that she could see shining in the light at the top of her bag. As much as she didn't want to see this thing, the chances of it springing open were much larger if it was floating around in her bag. Once the ball was on her waist, she wandered over near Cyren and adjusted the strap on the travel bag she carried, eying him in an almost confused manor. Sure, he had smiled before - even at her once or twice so far. But this was different. This was a more natural, human smile to her. "Okay, what's his name? I know you like em weird but I always imagined you as more into feminine boys." She half giggled at the thought of her very large sibling with another male, rolling her eyes almost immediately. If anything he was talking to their mother and they were having a nice laugh about just how miserable she was right now."Also - I am ready now." Without waiting, Llonora walked to the door of the center and glanced at her Rowlet, waving him along and stepping out into the seemingly endless sunshine this region had. For once she was going to lead the way, even if the woman had absolutely no idea where they were supposed to be going!

When the Litten began to lick him the Rowlet chirped a bit in embarrassment and started to preen his feathers shortly after. Having a fire type as a best friend was weird enough, but having her try to lick him was even worse as far as deadeye was concerned. At least the Litten was adorable. While he continued to pick at his feathers in preparation to leave, the tiny bird stopped when venus approached and spit out a loose feather he had in his mouth. "Pokemon come from eggs, they are more a human food." He commented, his head twisting back and forth in thought for a few moments. The owl had half a mind not to take the egg but... if he didn't then someone else would. Plus Rhea seemed to like it so he didn't want to feel left out! Rowlet gently pecked at the egg, rolling it down the length of the window frame until it bumped the wall, chittering in an amused fashion while he then tried to turn and sit on it as he had seen others in his species do from time to time. "I do not think this is food Rhea." Trying to balance on the egg was not an easy task, especially when one didn't have a whole lot of balance to work with in the first place. As he slipped off of the tiny item for the third time and fell to the floor he noticed the Litten calling to him, looking towards the door and the human clearly waiting for the both of them. Part of the creature wanted to remain here - Llonora had tons of Pokemon to keep her company now so she did not need him. "...Nyeh. I am coming." Fluttering back up and taking the egg between his beak, The Rowlet darted out past Cyren and began to fly slow, wide circles around the Litten while she walked, much like a buzzard. Llonora might not have needed him but maybe the litten might. He did not want to see Rhea get hurt!

Llonora had been walking not five minutes before the reality of not knowing where she was going set in. Sure, walking aimlessly for the sake of pretending to be the leader was fun - but if she ended up back where they had been last night before the Pokemon center she was going to lose it! So she slumped over, looking back and waiting for the others to catch up. While watching Cyren, Llonora planted her hands on her hips and began to tap her foot against the dirt in what was essentially her best 'Hurry up' pose. Even so, watching him stare at his phone so intently brought that same grin to her face that it had the first time she had seen him show an interest in... whatever it was he was doing. A near laughable thought came to the woman suddenly when she realized that with their age gap it was entirely possible at this point that her brother was married, maybe had a few children? "He definitely looks the type." Llonora muttered under her breath, sighing when they finally caught up to her and reaching out to poke Cyren in the nose. "Come on Mister leader - tell your girlfriend this is a family affair. I dunno where I am going and I want to get there this week so... I digress, I am at your mercy."
