Aside from the Galar League Season and the incredible phenomena known as Dynamax that is specific to the region, Galar is famous for its vast expanses of natural landscapes in between its major routes and cities. Each of these mapped areas span for miles and miles in each direction, providing a unique environment to the Pokemon that call this giant expanse home. Ranging from giant forests to sprawling fields of grass, to lakes and small islands or enormous cliff faces and dusty rocks, there are so many different kinds of environments and so many different kinds of Pokemon that can be found in the Galar Region, that it has become a true marvel.

Grim entered the area known as Giant's Mirror and was immediately confronted by a floating purple pokemon. Koffing. Grim had no interest in it as far as capturing went, but he knew any battle would be good for them. Not that he had a choice, seeing as the koffing was purposely blocking their way and seemed rather furious. Grim gestured Luckett forward and stood back as the battle began.

As soon as he had defeated the Koffing another one took it's place. For a brief moment Grim wondered if leaving would be a good idea, but he soon pushed the thoughts from his mind. He had come here to train hadn't he? This was a good chance to do so, even if the wild pokemon's anger made him uneasy. He called Luckett back and took out a pokeball from his belt, releasing Ronin instread. The koffing looked quite strong, but Grim needed Ronin to get stronger for the gym ahead. All they could do was try.

Frustrated, the moment Grim saw a third Koffing approaching he turned and headed back towards Hammerlocke Hills. At this rate he would get nowhere in this area. Perhaps he would simply train up his pokemon and look for any other useful pokemon on his way to the gym instead. After all he had plenty of good pokemon, they just needed a bit more training. Of Alister's pokemon only the Cursola worried him. His information led him to believe it used rock and ground moves, of which he lacked much defense against. If only he could find a ground or rock type that knew dark type moves, but that seemed to be asking far too much. With a shake of his head he cleared his mind, healed up his pokemon, and headed off to Hammerlocke Hills.
