Attention All Incoming Members!
Hello and welcome to Pokemon Hidden Legends! We are so glad to have you with us as you come and register and join the site, and start your journey to becoming part of 10 years of role playing thus far! As you can see, there is still a lot of the main role play that isn't finished, and for that we deeply apologize. We've been working around the clock to get as much finished so that you may have a website to come to, but unfortunately we didn't get as much done as we might have hoped. Besides the point, we are still going to be open and accepting members, and in the mean time you are welcome to talk to us about how the site works, get to know the system and us, and come to understand what the role play is all about. You are free to begin making your characters if you would like, but the only region fully open for role playing right now is Kanto, but do not fret!
- The Johto Region, the Hoenn Region and the Kalos Region will be completed within the next week or so, with Sinnoh and Unova to follow soon after - The Professor's laboratories will be posted at the official opening of each region - Until further notice, the contest system is not applicable, but will be open very shortly. If you wish to make a coordinator still you are more than welcome to, you do not have to wait until the system is open - You will be seeing the official legendaries thread open within the next few weeks to get a grasp on that system - Just because where you would like to role play is not complete does not mean you cannot make your character profile. You are welcome to make your profile and wait until your region is done, or wait until the region is done and then make a character profile - You will be notified on the progress of the continued building of the site - As each region opens and is completed, it will be open for role playing - Feel free to begin asking questions, getting to know how the site works, getting to know each other as members and fellow role players
Thank you all again so much for joining for the grand opening of Pokemon Hidden Legends 3.0, we're thrilled to have you and can't wait to begin building this world together!

The Monthly Lotto has restarted!! Hello Members! I'm so happy to announce that our Monthly Lotto has officially returned! It is a feature the original Hidden Legend had, and was created by our original moderator mystikdreamer, and revamped and kept up with by the following Moderator Astral Rain. It was once the Weekly Lotto, however to be a bit more realistic to keep up with, and to beef up the prizes a little more, we will be rolling every month! It's a fun thing I always looked forward to, so hopeful you all will love it to! This is just one of the few features we will be adding, so keep an eye out! If you have any questions about the Lotto, Please ask them here.

Secret Bases Are Here! Hello Trainers! We come with an important addition to the Hidden Legends forum today, the newly created Secret Bases subforum has been opened and is ready for use! Within this new subforum, you as members will be able to create threads specific to your characters and points of interest for them that they would frequent in order to continue to build your role playing world! The homes of your characters can be put here, any bases for member made organizations, other locations that might be important for your character's development, even smaller cannon cities that are not a part of the main role play threads, or other special locations that would take more than just the normal role playing threads. We're very excited to open the doors for this opportunity to everyone here, so please, take your time to look over our new guidelines for these kind of locations, and never hesitate to ask questions! This is a new addition to Hidden Legends as a whole, so please come to us with any kind of clarifications, ideas, or otherwise that you might have, and we can't wait to see what continues to happen with even more world building opportunities!

We Have a Discord! Hello Hidden Legends! Making things official, we're giving out the announcement that we have a discord server! It has been by slightly popular demand that we took this into consideration, and thanks to some ingenuity we have managed to make a fully functional chat box at the bottom of the forum directly associated with the discord server! For those of you that already have a discord, all you have to do is press the "Join" button on the new chat window in order to be invited to the server, and from there you will have access to the server! If you do not already have a discord, you are absolutely welcome to create one and then select the join button on the chat window in order to join! For anyone who is unsure of what discord is, how it works, or otherwise, please feel free to reach out to me, Elemental Paradisity, and I will be happy to walk you through things so you can become a part of this new portion of our community!

Gym Rematch System is Live! Hello Trainers! It is a very proud day in Hidden Legends that we announce one of the forum's biggest projects has been completed, and it is now live for the forum! For all of you aspiring Pokemon Masters out there, you can now re-challenge gym leaders with their best teams, and see what really makes them the toughest trainers in the regions! The system is still in beta, as we see rematches taking place, and it seems that adjustments need to be made or otherwise, we will make everyone aware of any changes that might occur! For now though, all of the rules and information for gym leader rematch battles can be found here, and we look forward to seeing the gym leaders in action!

Automated Exp System This is a full guide on how to utilize the automated experience program that has been added to the forum. There are a couple of important highlights to make before all else.
- This program is completely optional. If you do not wish to utilize this program, you do not have to. The addition of this program does not change the current exp systems in any way, and does not provide any bonuses or incentives to use. This is a quality of life feature.
- This program is brand new and could still have some bugs and hiccups. We have done our best to test and troubleshoot to the best of our ability, but there could still be things that don't quite work. If you find anything amiss, please let us know so that we can address it immediately
- Please take your time in looking at this program and getting things set up, and ask questions as you have them. This guide is to assist in keeping everyone on the same page, but it cannot be stressed enough that not rushing through set up or otherwise is incredibly important
- There are still portions of upkeep that are still manual and are not included in this program. It is likely that we will look to expand and build upon this program, but as of this moment, you will still be responsible for the following on a manual level
- Removing wild Pokemon encounter posts from your post count
- Removing NPC encounter posts from your post count
- Adding Pokemon to your information and switching Pokemon in and out of your party
- Managing your item posting and switching out new information when you have completed an item's count
- All battle/reward exp and any levels gained through this exp will need to be manually added and saved
- Any activation or deactivation of hold items that affect exp per post
For all current members with already progressed characters who look to utilize the Automated Exp Program, you will not lose any of your current progress, and will just transfer these specific sets of information into the new program feature
