 "Where the land ends and the sea begins."
Out on the very eastern coast of mainland Hoenn, Lilycove City stands on a small outstretch of land that makes it yet another coastal city in Hoenn. While Lilycove does not have main attractions like a Pokemon gym for the Hoenn League, that does not mean that this large and sprawling city lacks in visitors and activity. Being on the ocean, a wide range of ships come and go through Lilycove bringing in goods the otherwise might not be available to eastern Hoenn since most of the ports are in the west, and because of this, the Department Store is a popular place to find goods from all over the world. Lilycove also has a Museum full of priceless art and fine paintings on display which adds to the allure of visiting the city all together.

Lilycove City proved to be the divide between the western half of Hoenn which was land-based and rural and the eastern half of Hoenn which was built on the sea via the numerous islands. After coming out of the jungle, the difference was night and day. They landed in Lilycove to smiles and waves - the young Trainer felt like she was immediately welcome here despite knowing nobody. She went into the Pokemon Center where she got the stamp from Nurse Joy and then ate a quick lunch.
She knew they were going to be out over the open ocean again soon enough, struggling to find the right islands which cities and towns were built on. The Nurse Joy even told her about one which had been built as an actual floating city! She was eager to see that but knew it was to be one of her last locations visited in Hoenn. So she still had a while to go before she got there. She left the Pokemon Center side-by-side with Lucy, and then when they met back up with her dragons they took a walk down towards the beach.
It was an idyllic seaside City with lots of sun and surf. The people roaming the sidewalks were friendly, and happy. The Pokemon were more used to people and interacted with them more than in many places Kira had visited. She was going to get on Charizard and they were going to fly off into the horizon very soon, but she was enjoying the opportunity to stretch her legs in the sand too much to leave right away. It made her feel a sense of longing for this to be done, because this was exactly the sort of place she was going to have her well-earned vacation as soon as she'd finished with this challenge.

Elfana Aroway Elfana decided to spend some time by the water instead of rushing on through Lilycove. Why not take advantage of the fact that it was a coastal city? She was a fan of the water. That had been one of the major reasons for her choosing to live in a port city in Unova. Something about the ocean always put her mind at ease. Many mornings had been dedicated to long walks by the water when she first moved to Virbank. She couldn't recall when or why those walks had stopped. One day she had decided to not leave her lab. Up until she left for Sinnoh, she furthest she had gone were the steps outside of her office to retrieve the occasional parts or food she would have delivered. Elfana ended up settling down in a mostly secluded area where she could watch the ocean without being disturbed. She remained quiet for the majority of their stay. There had been no reason to break the silence until she was about to leave. "If the water didn't damage them, I'm going to read Kana's letters before the next gym." As much as she hated to admit it, her brother had been correct. She really did to get out of her lab for a while. That doesn't mean she was going to give up her fight to return however. Accepting that a short vacation might have been good for her was one thing. Staying away from home was out of the question.
Before leaving Lilycove, she stopped by the Pokemon Center and collected her next stamp. They were almost through Hoenn. So long as she kept at her current pace, she would be on her way back to Sinnoh in no time.Hoenn

Emiri sat atop Charizard’s saddle, keeping up with her stamp booklet and making sure that she had their routes planned as they would begin to move further east soon to get to the Sinnoh Region. They flew over the eastern portion of the Hoenn Region, knowing that Lilicove would be out in the distance, but Emiri couldn’t help but look to the south beside them, knowing that Mt. Pyre was there in the distance. She remembered from before, there was such a strong aura coming from Mt. Pyre because of what it was, a grave site akin to the Soul House in Kanto… There were so many different kinds of feelings that she could draw from such a place, pain, peace, resentment… Even from such a far distance it was permeating, and she couldn’t imagine what it would feel like to actually go there…
Fortunately before too much longer, Lilicove was in their sites, and Emiri was able to lead her Pokemon towards the Pokemon Center with ease. They landed and while Emiri dismounted from Charizard’s saddle, she made her way into the Pokemon center in order to gain her next stamp. They were that much closer to finishing another region, and Emiri was happy at the idea as she made her way back out to her Pokemon.
