 "The City of Light."
Connected to the Southern Boulevard of Lumiose City, the Northern Boulevard hold just as many boutiques and cafes, and even more sites to see for those visiting the enormous city. The museum is a popular spot for anyone who is anyone in Lumiose City to go and admire the beautiful art and exhibits that it holds, as well as the train station that traverses through the regions, but the jewel of the large city is the Prism Tower that stands as a beacon in the very center, the landmark for the city and a light that can guide anyone.
{Lumiose City Gym (Click)}Clemont is an inventor who is the official Gym Leader of Lumiose City's Gym. He specializes in Electric-type Pokémon, and gives the Voltage Badge to Trainers who defeat him. Clemont has been awarded the title of "The inventor lighting up the world." Which is very much true. Even at his young age, Clemont has been able to invent a machine placed in the Prism Tower with his Gym that powers the entirety of Lumiose City just from his electric Pokemon he possesses, though he did have a bit of help inventing the machine with Wattson from Mauville in Hoenn. The Machine powers with clean energy which helps the City be the most energy efficient city to date. After completing this feat, Clemont was granted a building within the City to start building other inventions. He has a few machines in progress but he like to keep them a secret until they are complete due to the many failures he goes through, so only his parents and his sister Bonnie are aware of the machines. Though, he's let it slip that he is working on something to help those slower people run faster. Just because he spends most of his time inventing, that doesn't mean he doesn't have fun. He frequents the Amusement Part in Nimbasa City, Unova, with his little sister Bonnie. Though even with all of this going on, he still has time to run the Lumiose City Gym, and has fun doing so. Clemont's Gym sits within the center of the Prism Tower, the floor just below the machine that powers the entire city. Once inside the Prism Tower, The tower is quite a tourist spot, where all four legs of the tower hold an elevator. Three of them continue upwards to all levels, the large second floor to view the gym battles, third level which shows the infamous machine, and them all the way to the top. But the fourth Elevator is guarded by the gym trainers. The challenger must present four Gym badges, as well as answer a difficult trivia question correctly to gain access to the elevator that's labeled "Gym." Once the challenger gains access, the Gym Trainers will lead the trainer up to the Gym, which takes place in the large floor that hold windows on all four sides of the tower. The Gym is very spacious, and flat, and appears to be very versatile. Though, the Floor appears to be quite interesting in itself, The floor has large square tiles all of which have the ability to light up every color of the rainbow. The tiles light up, dim and change color as the battle progresses. Each battle produces a light show that shines out of the windows, and can be seen even during the day. Mission Overview:
"Alright, boys; I'm sending you into the back-alleys of Northern Lumiose, where the light doesn't shine, so that you can spread the light of truth to the destitute. Try to do this without tearing each-other apart, now, won't you? All I'm asking is that you spend some time with the punks and impart your skills upon them while reaching out to anyone who will listen. Nikolaus, focus more on the mental aspect; impart your experiences onto them. Clarence, teach the peons a thing or two about unarmed fighting. I'm remaining here with Natasha in the southern quarter to continue recruitment efforts there; you boys just focus on doing your thing without getting each-other killed, or worse, arrested. Report back to me after you've made your quota."

The darkened back-alleys in the depths of Lumiose City's streets is where evil would fester and build; hiding and skulking among the shadows where the police and the gleam of Lumiose's light would not think to look. Places where, as with any city, the low-lives and crooks tended to hang out and do their time in an ancient prison cell. Yes, in this place, something new built up; something that composed of voices in the dark and the indistinct patter of footsteps on pavement and thuds of fists on flesh. Hardly heard, or even acknowledged, by the occasional vagrant or civilian that passed that way.
Now the source of the noise would be a set of thugs, all gathered around a pair of individuals as a fence for a fighting ring. Here was where graphic scenes played out, like the tough-looking and smooth young man therein who went fist-to-fist with a nameless punk. Everyone, pretty much dressed in street clothes, and the young man inherently having a pair of clawed gauntlets latched to his hips. These he didn't use in the ongoing brawl that ensued- a silent one, as there were no cheers or jeers going on among the band of thugs. Aside from he who engaged the punk in a brutal fistfight, there would be the white-haired boy behind him who hissed and spat words into his ear.
"He's not going easy on you, you know," The while-haired male growled when the punk fighting the black-haired figure would falter. "Just like the enemies of the future, he's not going to have mercy on you when he beats you. What do you think they did with the surviving members of Team Rocket?" He narrowed his eyes, staring hard into the punk's from the side, "Arrested. Thrown in prison and convicted of crimes too bountiful to count. You're scum," He pointed out harshly, "Scum that the Pokemon League wouldn't think twice about locking away for good. Now do you think they're going to go easy on you? Do you?"
The punk he criticized sure didn't think so; not under this level of duress, being beaten terribly by the far-stronger and more adept Thug of an instructor before him. "I don't think so." The white-haired male answered for him, huffing through his nose, and stepped back a moment to give them space. "You're garbage now- all of you are- but think about this promise. The promise that you can become more than common rabble- more than penniless punks wandering the street, waiting to get plastered by some passing Pokemon Trainer. You will crush them with us," His hand clenched before his eye level, just to demonstrate by the groaning of leather, "Rely on the Black Hand Gang, learn from us, fight with us, work for us, and you will see in the future a promise that no organization can give. A place in the world that no Pokemon Master can achieve."
"We all... have the opportunity... to become gods." And with that end to his lecture, and the end of the savage beating, the white-haired instigator turned his eyes harshly sideways and beckoned to the crowd. "Next! See if you can knock Thunder down! If you do, I'll spare you the lecture."

Thomas, showered and woken from a nap, stretched and yawned. He went through his items - tossing anything he didn't need and organizing everything else. Say what you will about the new Thomas, but he certainly knew what he liked and wanted things a certain way. As he'd slept, his wet hair had stuck up oddly on the right side. He stared at himself in the mirror as he ruthlessly ran fingers through his chestnut-colored hair. When that didn't work, it was time to resort to desperate measures. The teen leafed through his bag and finally found it! The small container of hair gel was just what he needed. Obviously you couldn't just put gel in the one spot that stuck out, so all of his hair got the treatment. It was now spiky as a contrast to his usual hairstyle (shorter than in picture). Making sure he had all of his Pokeballs, Thomas donned his leather jacket and and left the room behind.
On his way through the Pokemon Center, Thomas' attention was captured by a girl standing at the front desk. She was quite obviously attractive, and he could tell she knew it. One of those girls he expected to act snotty to you before you even open your eyes. As he was walking across the lobby towards the front door, she made her way to a chair and sat on it as if it were a throne. "Damn." He muttered, and walked out into the bustling city. So, what was there to do in a place like this? He looked around and the answer quickly became apparent. This City was best used for it's shopping. No wonder such a pretty girl was here - he thought, despite not knowing anything about the blonde. There was a coffee shop that looked like it could sell a good cup of coffee by the filled lobby and long line, clothing shops that Thomas had no reason to set foot in, but what he wanted was a shop to sell goods designed for travelling Pokemon Trainers.

'Yeah, let's not do that.' Chimed another voice in his head.
Thomas grinned and looked around to make sure he was quite alone before speaking to himself. "Well, well, well. If it isn't my conscience. Dropped by for a visit, have you?" The voice was silent in his mind. He wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. "What, did I hurt your feelings?" He spoke aloud, mockingly.
'Go to Hell.' The other voice snapped internally. Thomas laughed and kept walking, taunting the better side of him which was growing weaker by the day. Before long full control would be his, and the other goody-two-shoes Thomas would be gone forever. Of that he was confident, though he wasn't sure what made him so. He had no proof, it wasn't like this had happened before, it wasn't like he could research the results - skip to the end of the book. God what a boring book this was though! The fact that he had to sit here and WAIT for this annoying blemish to vanish was excruciating. He wanted to be rid of this problem now!

but truly two." Thomas wondered the city, avoiding people and taunting himself. He wasn't stupid enough to say anything aloud when there was anyone in earshot, so he didn't earn any odd looks from Trainers or Citizens he passed. He found this to be rather entertaining. More than he thought it could be, at least. He did look inside a couple shops, but he didn't buy any new clothes. He had what he needed - and why fix what isn't broken? He wasn't hungry either, so he didn't stop by any of the local restaurants for a meal. However, his interest was grabbed as he walked by a massive tower and realized that it was a Gym. He hadn't realized there would be a Gym here; he wondered what type of Pokemon this particular challenge would specialize in. He had already dealt with four, and that last Gym Leader had taken him to the limits. Thomas wasn't sure if he was ready for the next but he wasn't going to let an opportunity like this pass him by. As the handsome male walked up to one of the four legs of the tower, he stood facing Gym Trainers. They were blocking his path. Each one got up from where they were sitting, looking the male up and down. "I hope you have four Gym Badges to show us, or we can't let you up. Without saying a word, Thomas exposed the right interior of his jacket where all four Gym Badges he'd earned to date reflected the light of the tower. "Not much of a talker, huh? That's fine, we aren't here to talk." Arno said. The Gym Trainer sent out a small blue-and-white Pokemon. It was obviously a small mouse, but Thomas couldn't tell what type it would be. Maybe this was a Normal-Type Gym, or a Water-Type. Judging by the colors of this Pokemon, that was the closest he could guess. He threw out a Pokeball. The towering form of Metagross floated between Trainer and Gym Trainers. They had looked confident before, but that quickly changed. Pachirisu fought bravely, trying to utilize it's speed coupled with a strong Electro Ball, but Metagross' Earthquake Attacks were just too powerful and damaging for the electric-mouse to withstand. Well, at the very least, Thomas knew what he was up against now. Electricity could prove to be deadly if he wasn't careful, and nobody knew the true danger of electricity quite like he did. Thomas stared at the Pokemon and Trainer with a rage on his face inproportionate to the situation. "Don't you dare hold back." He snarled out an order to Metagross. The Pokemon looked back at his tone, surprised.
The next Pokemon to appear was a Stunfisk. Metagross tanked the Discharge and slammed the ground with it's fists, causing the ground beneath the tower to shake dangerously yet again. When the ground was still once more, the Stunfisk was unable to continue fighting. Thomas and Metagross were the winners. He sprayed the Pokemon with Potions to restore it's health, but more out of self interest than concern. He knew Metagross had the best Type Advantage of his team to take on these Pokemon. Thomas' super-computer hovered between them, and Thomas had to decide what to do as far as his current challenge. The boy who had been his first Opponent stepped back, returning his Pokemon only to be replaced by the second.

This time, Thomas returned Metagross and sent out Dwebble. The Ampharos might not have looked like anything special, but Tank had already been through three battles in a row. There was no use exhausting him just yet, especially when he would have to carry his own considerable weight when they finally got to the Gym Leader. Dwebble was never going to out-speed Ampharos, the Pokemon was carrying around a boulder on it's back. Although, it might just be able to take some hits and keep hitting back. At least to weaken it for somebody else to finish off. Dwebble showcased a new move, using Rock Slide to assault Ampharos. Despite the heavy stones hitting it, Ampharos kept punching Dwebble with Fire Punch.
Dwebble was visibly growing weaker when Thomas finally returned his Pokemon, only to exchange it with Lady. Lady could sense instantly that this was not her Thomas. This was that other person, the thing inside of him that had been fractured and twisted in that hellish tower. "Not a word." He hissed, so the Gym Trainers wouldn't overhear. "Take that thing out. Now." Lady wanted to disobey, wanted to use her Psychic Powers to find HER Thomas and restore his mental health, but this was not the time. She would get her chance, but the enemy had already taken advantage of her hesitation and used Fire Punch again. She focused all of her energy, and all of the stones Dwebble had chipped off and thrown gathered and rose into the air, collecting along the way sand, dirt, and anything else it could until a considerable sized projectile rose and then fell directly on top of Ampharos. Thomas grinned as he returned Lady before she could even look back at him. TL;DR

"Welcome! The boy called, smiling. "You must be my next Challenger! My name is Clemont, and I specialize in Electric-Type Pokemon!" Four robotic arms extended from a backpack-like device on his back, each one holding a Pokeball. The top left threw one out, and an Emolga appeared in a bright light. Thomas did not say anything back, instead sending Metagross out. The giant landed heavily, shaking the ground and the tile beneath him lit up. The tile beneath Emolga was glowing faintly, so some sort of sensor must be beneath it, because it's size seemed to be relevant to the color and brightness.
"Metagross...!" Thomas began, but he was cut off.
"Volt Switch!" Clemont's voice confused Thomas. Had he just interrupted the taller, more physically active Trainer? What the hell! The small mouse of a Pokemon ran beneath Metagross. The giant Pokemon turned on the spot trying to find the enemy, but Emolga jumped straight up into the underside of Metagross with electricity forming all around it. Metagross roared in pain. He stomped his feet, but the Pokemon had already returned itself to it's Pokeball.
Another Pokemon, a four-legged hound stood facing it now. Metagross used Earthquake now, and he realized he was right. This place was built to withstand the most damaging of moves. Luxray zapped Metagross with a Thunderbolt, but Metagross kept up the attack. The Earthquakes were super effective against the electrically charged Pokemon and Tank stood tall when Luxray collapsed from the abuse it had suffered. Thomas grinned as the Pokemon was recalled by it's respective mechanical arm.
A Magneton appeared courtesy of the bottom left arm and hovered there. It shot a stream of electrical energy that hit Metagross straight in the face. Thomas could tell the attack left residual electricity on Metagross, effectively slowing it down. Even so, the Earthquake it made was so devastating that Magneton could not even handle the single attack. It fell from the air, lighting up another tile with it's heavy body. Clemont returned his Pokemon and frowned. Apparently he hadn't expected to be at such a distinct disadvantage so early on.
The next Pokemon Thomas had to deal with was a Heliolisk. The enemy and Metagross exchanged attacks, but Heliolisk finally finished what Magneton, Emolga, and Luxray had started. Metagross was returned before it could drop and break through the floor. It had beaten two Pokemon already, proving itself and it's talents against Clemont's team. It had done it's job, at the very least. Thomas took a moment to think about who to use next, but he didn't need to. A flash of light signaled the appearance of Lady, who had not been sent out by Thomas but had instead taken it upon herself to step in.
Something was different too, she looked more powerful. Her dress was bigger and more elegant, and she stared at Heliolisk with a ferocity to rival Thomas' furious stare. "What do you think you're doing?" He growled, staring at the back of her head. "I did not authorize this." She looked back over her shoulder at him, and then used her Psychic powers to send Heliolisk into the ceiling with devastating force. Heliolisk was returned before it could hit the ground, but it was clear that the battle was over for it.
Before Lady could stop him, with her attention focused on the Heliolisk, he returned her and sent out Lapras. The type advantage wasn't there, but he was flustered and acting on impulse now. Emolga made another appearance, and the Trainer wondered if this meant he had run out of other Pokemon to use. He couldn't be sure, but Emolga and Lapras went to battle with one another. Emolga used Volt Switch again, but nothing happened other than Lapras taking damage. So, he had been right. Clemont was out of other usable Pokemon. Lapras used Blizzard and Emolga shot through it with Volt Switch. Sure it took damage, but Lapras took even more and her head fell forward.
Thomas returned her and sent out Seel. "Do what you did in that tree." He ordered, and Seel knew what to do. Emolga never stood a chance against the Z-Move Seel had in her arsenal. Thomas and Seel left Emolga frozen where it had been floating/hovering above the ground, like a giant ice statue.
Thomas began across the field to meet the Gym Leader when his progress was cut off by a second appearance of Lady. She released herself again and froze Thomas in place. Her mind dove into his, messing around in ways she would never have felt comfortable doing in her previous form. Thomas' eyes were wide and staring blankly ahead of him, and he fell to his knees before her. She placed a hand to his temple and completed exactly what she was doing. Thomas blinked, but obviously some time had passed. The Gym Leader had apparently gotten enough time to get over his reservations and approach him. Lady was standing a few paces away, watching him. "What happened..." Thomas groaned, holding his aching head and struggling back to his feet. TL;DR

gravity_resistant  Leader Clemont Clemont returned his Emolga, Ironically having started with the flying squirrel and how having ended with it. The battle was a bit more of s struggle then he was anticipating. A Mega Gardevoir and a Z Crystal, He was not expecting that. The young gym leader waited a moment as three or four bots came out of the walls, rushing on to the field, as they quickly started to work on the frozen field. It was still coated in ice as the light panels still were displaying a light show, wavering between light blues, silvers, and whites, at the lingering aftermath of the attack. As he walked around the large ice spikes the lights changed a but around him, muting a bit at his calm moments across it. "You definitely put on a show there. I'm sure the entire city saw that light show." He joked with a small laugh. After attacks like Sub-Zero Slammer, his own thunder attacks, Lady's psychic, and Metagross' earthquake. The light show really was pushed to it's fullest technologies. Usually only his own attacks test the light show limits. He remembered back to the battle how ever, recalling how his Gardevoir entered battle 'unauthorized' and the command of his final attack. "You definitely are a tough battler, and I believe you will give Valorie a run for her money. But I would suggest that you might get control, or better yet a stronger partnership with your Pokemon. Understand each other, so they don't enter a battle that could get them hurt. " He spoke, trying to offer him some friendly advice. He clearly knew how to battle, but he just wanted to offer a bit of help so he could be that much more stronger. However, the young genius noticed the male seemed to be struggled a bit as he stood back put holding his head, asking what had happened. "You defeated my Pokemon, and earned the badge... Are you alright?" Clemont asked him, hoping he wasn't hit with icy debris or anything. Clemont glanced to his Mega Gardevoir, and then back to the male. His multi-armed pack automatically reacted to his voice command, 'defeated me' and 'earned the badge' as the white hand reacted inside his pack and then extended out to Thomas, opening up and holding out all the rewards. Celmont let the robotic hand remain out for the male to accept or the Gardevoir, as he continued. "If you got injured, we can help I can help you to the Pokecenter." Clemont offered. The male didn't respond much before the battle, and was a fierce battler, but Clemont couldn't just let him leave without offering him some assistance. Thomas has received: Voltage Badge TM 24 Thunderbolt +83 exp split amongst Lapras, Seel, Metagross, Lady Bonus:+15 exp to each party Pokemon x3 max revives 3 full restores

"How did I return you to your body?" She gave him a knowing look. "I am far stronger in this form. I was able to transfer your consciousness with his." Thomas opened his mouth to speak again, but she cut him off. She knew what he had been about to ask. "No. It is not permanent, and I could not remove him. I do not know how long this will hold."
Thomas closed his mouth and frowned at his hands. "I can't stand this. If he gets hold of me, can you do this... whatever this was, again?"
For a moment, she did not answer him. She merely continued walking. "I can try." She said, though not sounding completely convinced. "The thing is, he grows stronger every day; even now. Unless we are able to find someone strong enough to connect these two halves, or to remove him..." She trailed off, but they both knew that the end of her sentence wouldn't have been pretty.
They walked side-by-side together for a long time, neither one speaking. They were enjoying the reunion - simply being able to be around one another again was more than either could have hoped only an hour before. The pair took the long way back to the Pokemon Center. They were in no hurry, and the air was cooling as the day wore on and the sun began to set on the horizon. Thomas hadn't realized his grip on the badge he'd been given until it hit him at once. Lost in his own worries and fears, he hadn't realized how tightly he'd been gripping the small metal symbol. He released it and stared at the deep imprints it had made on his flesh.
Who knew how much longer he would be able to feel, or to decide where to lead this body, or even what to eat? He had taken all of these things for granted before now, and the realization of this exhausted him. He realized he wanted to go back to the Pokemon Center, to request a nice meal, to sleep long and hard... but if he did that, would it be him that woke up the next morning?

The Trainer walked the city like he had done last night, only this time on his own. He wasn't sure exactly what he was looking for, or if he was looking for anything at all, but he stopped beside a massive fountain in a town square. Many Trainers and other people were sitting on the stone surrounding it while their Pokemon played in the water. Thomas walked over and fished two Pokeballs out of his pocket. In moments, Seel and Lapras were in the water enjoying themselves. They played with the other Pokemon; some of which included a Starmie, a Goldeen, a Frogadier, and Jellicent. They had a good time splashing one another and playing a Pokemon variant of tag, and Thomas was content to let them play for as long as they wanted.
He laughed as Seel splashed him with her tail, Lapras floated him around the water for about ten minutes, and he got to meet some of the locals who were spending time with their own Water-Types. The ladies simply adored Lapras and Seel. He had to admit, they were right. His Pokemon did have a sense of grace in the water that he hadn't really noticed before now.
"Let. Me. Out." A voice, separate from his own, spoke from inside of his mind. Thomas dropped the Pokedex he had just taken out of his bag, and it cracked on contact with the ground. He hastily picked up the now-useless device and tucked it away. He couldn't reply out loud because of the people around him. "LET ME OUT OR I WILL TEAR YOU APART FROM THE INSIDE!" The voice was so loud that it gave him a massive headache. He muttered an apology to the others, recalling his Pokemon and running further from the heart of the city.

Thomas had every intention of leaving town - he honestly did. Something distracted him from that plan, however, in the form of the attractive Blonde he had seen in the Pokemon Center heading towards the airport. "Wonder what's going on over here..." He muttered. He followed, taking care to stay out of sight.
When he got to those people waving through Passengers, Thomas asked where the plane was going. "Oh, you haven't heard? With the grand opening of the Alolan Pokemon League, they are holding a massive festival and inviting Trainers from all over the world!" The Attendant replied. A festival held on an island paradise? He would have to be an idiot to pass that up. He handed over his I.D., and was then let through to the plane. Thomas had never been on a plane before, and he was nervous. The voice in his head mocking and berating him, taunting and teasing, did not help his nerves.
He took care not to look at Ridley as he passed her seat and took one near the back of the plane.

Llorona Braithwaite Nearly an entire day had passed before Llorona stepped off of the very last train she had ever hoped to ride in Kalos, the woman stretching her arms over her head and yawning lazily. The 'special' fare they were running to promote the city of light had failed to mention that although the tickets were extremely discounted - so was the actual route! As a result, she had taken a very uncomfortable boat ride followed by an equally disappointing ride along the rail system into Kalos. If there was one saving grace behind the long journey it was that she did not feel the need to rest in the least, after all, Llorona had spent the huge majority of the ride cuddling the Litten Cyren had left in her care. "Well then, this is the big city of dreams." She half muttered to the cat whose head was sticking out of her bag. Llorona was fairly used to moving through large crowds so the hustle and bustle of the train station didn't both the woman a great deal - however the rudeness of those she had spent the past day with when disembarking certainly did. "Can you not?" She growled as she was bumped into for the fourth time in less than ten minutes and making her way as quickly as possible away from the terminal. From the moment Llorona found herself standing in the cool night air, the bit of rudeness she had encountered behind her was just that - behind her. Even the Rowlet seemed to chitter at the massive, sprawling utopia that surrounded them, causing his rather awestruck trainer to nod in agreement. This place was unlike any city Llorona had ever seen - there were shops everywhere! "Oh man, oh man, oh man! Look at all this STUFF!" She practically squealed, unable to keep herself from a light jog towards the first glass displays that she saw, a grin, unlike anything she had worn in a long time coming over her as she clapped her hands together and giggled. Just as her hand found the door to the first shop, however, Llorona forced her excitement to a halt just long enough to pull up her phone and ensure that the card was, in fact, active before she threw the door open in a true Braithwaite fashion and waltzed in. So long as she didn't have to suffer a repeat of the department store from the Alola region, Llorona was fully prepared to buy every single item she even remotely found to be of use. This was her one shot at taking as much as she could carry before her mother found out and cut her off again, and Llorona had no intention of wasting it. Deadeye had next to no comments regarding either the boat or train rides... Both had been scary, and both had been awkward since he had needed to remain close enough to his human not to lose her, but far enough away so that the little owl also didn't infringe on her personal space. Needless to say, Deadeye had gotten next to no sleep when compared to Rhea and Llorona and it showed in the way he fluttered around lazily when they entered the city. Even as tired as he felt, the Rowlet had to admit that he was actually impressed. Human cities were always unnecessary as far as he was concerned but this one was VERY unnecessary - to the point where it was so over the top that he couldn't even find the words to describe the sea of lights and movement before him. "W-wow... Is this where Ll-o-na is from?" He asked more to Rhea than to his trainer even though he was aware that the litten knew about as much about his human as he did. Whether it was or wasn't didn't seem to matter to the girl, however. She seemed completely overjoyed for the first time since he had met her! Carefully following behind Llorona so that the door didn't close in his face, Deadeye set himself down with a weary sigh when they entered the building and the human began to almost ravenously tear through the different shelves containing wares he had never seen. When he heard Rhea meow from inside Llorona's bag he had to admit that for once he was almost happy that the girl insisted he give her some personal space. She was basically being bobbed around against her will the way Llorona was moving. "R-Rhea, maybe you should get out of the bag?" He offered, watching the poor litten bounce and bob around behind Llorona like a rag doll. Llorona BraithwaiteTo be honest, Llorona was not entirely sure how it was that she was going to carry all of the things she intended on buying - but that was a problem for later. Her current task consumed her entirely, the girl's arms filled to the point where she could barely see over them with different garments that Llorona was not even sure she would ever wear. "I'll charge it all." By the time that she had left the third store on a singular block, the woman was acutely aware that she would need a better way to transport all of her items into storage at a pokemon center. When you carried around as much money as Llorona was, however, any problem was easily solved by someone looking to get paid. "I know every single item you are carrying. If one of them doesn't get lodged into my storage at the pokemon center you can consider your contract canceled.. And you don't look like you can fit into my clothes so don't bother." She spoke to the young man from the last department store who had offered to transport her things into her trainer's account. Sighing and leaning against a nearby light post - the woman glanced up at the very confused looking Rowlet sitting atop that same post, cautiously looking around at several other small bird Pokemon across the way. Deadeye had been a good sport so far, and Rhea didn't much have a choice from where she sat. "Hm... Maybe something for you guys too? I'm running out of clothes to buy for myself. So maybe a new look for the both of you will help out. Not like you can go around wearing the same hat and ribbon forever." The thought of playing dress up with the pokemon she had was amusing - but it didn't quite capture her real goal. She needed to make a dent in this account before her mother shut it down and left her with nothing yet again. That meant she would need to think a little bigger than simply new sandals and some scarves. After tapping her chin a few times, Llorona began to look up and down the street - noting the different stores as her eyes fell on them and eventually deciding on a few things all at once. Less than thirty minutes later the girl found herself carrying a nice new set of high-efficiency poke'balls, some strange candy that the pharmacist assured her would make her pokemon stronger, and some very, very expensive technical machines that Llorona was fairly certain her Pokemon could not even use. On top of all of this, the woman had received a few bits of information on where she could really do damage two-fold. "The best hair salon in the entire region huh? Specializing in hair coloring. . . I wonder how mom would feel about that." The girl giggled, Striding with purpose and a map in hand towards her next destination - one that lay on the border between Nothern and southern Lumiose city. She was well aware that this was the same bratty behavior that both her mother and father had always attempted to scold out of her - but as the old adage went, there was no hell like that of the youngest Braithwaite scored. "Are you okay up there?" The little Litten called up to Deadeye the moment Llorona paused for a breath. She felt badly for Deadeye since had not had the luxury of resting all day long inside Llorona's bag as she had - and the poor thing looked absolutely pooped. "I am okay. I just hope she runs out of energy soon. These Doduo are giving me a weird look." Deadeye squawked in warning at the pack of two-headed birds that had somehow managed to perch themselves on a nearby rooftop. Maybe he was just being cranky as a result of exhaustion, but the tiny grass pokemon was pretty sure that they were talking about him... And none of it was nice. After shaking his puffy hat at the birds, Deadeye jumped in confusion as Rhea called out to him - Flying along lazily to wherever it was that his trainer wanted to go next. The girl went from being moody and slow to suddenly energetic and happy, quite literally overnight. "Maybe in her previous life, Llo-o-na had been a Doduo..." He mused, prompting the Litten in Llorona's bag to meow at him in agreement. Llorona BraithwaiteLlorona felt as though her troubles were all but melting away, sitting in a chair and producing several exaggeratedly pleasurable sighs under the touch of the very interesting looking man massaging her scalp. He was clearly a bit flamboyant - which was usually the type of man that Llorona would try to avoid. But given his exceptional skills, she allowed her reluctance to take the back seat for once, listening to him while he explained the general area and listed several very fun options for blowing a ton of cash. "For what it is worth, I didn't like my mom's neither. She was a baaaaad lady." Between the two of them giggling along between stations, it felt as though little to no time at all had passed before she was finally reviewing her new look in the mirror, gently running her fingers through the deep blue highlights the stylist had recommended and smiling promptly. "See, what I say? You look damned good in blue girlie. Gotta learn to trust in my skills!"She grinned and nodded in response to his assessment, taking the strange 'fist bump' gesture he offered to her and standing as she shook her hair out. He was absolutely right - she looked fantastic with this color. "How much is it in total?" She asked absently, tying her hair back into a ponytail and giving the blue one last shake in the light before turning towards her new found friend and raising a curious eyebrow at his response. "Well, you got just about every single thing we offer... Looks to be about three hundred. But I'll make sure to hook it up with a nice dis-" "Don't worry about all that. Charge the full amount and give yourself an equal tip. I'm here to spend money remember? Besides, I'd be lying if I said this wasn't the best wash, cut, straighten, and dye I've ever seen. You are a miracle worker Marco." Despite their previous conversation, the hairdresser still looked almost concerned with her request, a concern that she waved off as she offered him the card and strode over to the both the Litten and Rowlet who had taken to playing in the waiting pen... Although to be more accurate it was Rhea pawing and playing with Deadeye while the poor thing seemed to be trying to remain upright. "What do you guys think? Pretty smooth huh? We've got just two more stops and then we will call it a quick night - this fancy hotel in south Lumiose look to be to die for!" The woman grinned, flicking her hair once for both Pokemon to see. Once Marco had returned her card, Llorona made certain to provide him her number in the off chance that she ever got to return here. If the younger Braithwaite had it her way, no one else was ever going to touch her hair again!
"Nyah. What is wrong? You look so tired!" Rhea gently began to pat Deadeye with her paw, taking extra care not to snag her claws on his hat while doing so. The poor thing looked exhausted even while repeatedly trying to tell the litten that he was okay. "I'm okay... I'm just a little sleepy. Llo-o-na will run out of energy soon...Right?" Even as he replied, Deadeye nearly fell sideways where he stood, as close to a groan as had ever been managed by a bird pokemon escaping him when Llorona mentioned MORE stops before they could rest. That exhaustion aside though, when the human flicked her hair before them, he forced a happy little chirp along side Rhea and her meow of approval. Why Llorona felt the need to change her appearance was beyond the Rowlet, she was beautiful just the way she was... But if it made her happy... "I don't know how much further I can go. But if I fall asleep, try to sneak me into Ll-o-na's bag okay? She will definitely leave me behind."

After being together on the streets for so long, and growing up together, the knew each other so well, Alec pretty much knew what Spade meant just from a look or gesture. He was still a bit sore, so after a nice long stretch in the aisle of the compartment, while Spade basked in the sun, they train met port. Alec actually had to take a deep breath before walking back out into Lumiose. He had been a kid since he was here. He remembered boarding the train when he was 13 and running away. Now he was riding the train back into this city. Alec of course, had been in the city for concerts, but he never left the venue, or went out to explore. The City was beautiful and clean, but it just had such a bad cogitation for him. It reminded him of being miserable back in Laverre, and the weeks before he nearly starved to death with Spade when he was a roserade, after boarding the train and going to Goldenrod. He made his way through the streets, and he knew Spade didn't like it either, but they made it all the way here at least, they couldn't turn back now just because they didn't like it. "What City was I in before...?" He asked himself, trying to remember. It just wasn't coming to him, so he decided to stop into the Pokemon Center for a rest. He felt stiff and tired after that ride, gave someone instructions to wake him in an hour and a half, and went to nap.
When he woke up, he hunted down a cup of coffee and sat in a lobby chair staring at a mounted tv while the cup warmed his hands. There was some sort of news report on the tv. At first he wasn't even listening, caring more about how much he despised being awake than about whatever drama was going on out in the world. That changed pretty quickly. There was some sort of Halloween event at some palace? Well, he'd never been in a palace before, and he quite wondered what he might be able to find there. Besides, Halloween was his favorite holiday - good or evil.

He had been thinking about how much he despised following the path that the other Thomas had decided to take. It lead down a number of Gym Battles that he didn't particularly care about and ended... well, he didn't know where that path ended. Now he had a chance to cut away from that path and forge his own through the unknown wilds.
Finishing his coffee, he left the Pokemon Center and ventured out into the city. He knew from experience that Lumiose City had a lot to offer, but at the top of his list was the fact that he needed more clothes. He turned into the first clothing store he could find and made it clear he didn't need help finding anything with the over-eager receptionist. He knew right away that they didn't have many shoes - he would have to find a shoe store for that but he could find a new outfit that suited him.
At the end of twenty minute's search, he was dressed in a black tank top, fashionably ripped jeans so dark they looked black, and an acid-green sleeveless jacket with the hood popped up for effect. He ripped off the tags and took them to the register to pay for. "I'll be wearing them out." He explained, and he did just that. Now he needed shoes, and a costume for this Halloween event... but first, lunch! He stopped by a tree, laid back against it, and fished out the leftovers he'd stored the day before.

but truly two." Thomas walked around North Lumiose a bit, but finally accepted that he'd probably have to go into South Lumiose to find what he was after. That was okay with him, he had to go through South Lumiose to get into Camphrier, which would then take him to the Parfum Palace where the event was to take place. So he asked around and found out that there would be a trolley going from the North to the South end of the city in about twenty minutes.
He had to run to catch it, but he did make it just in time to climb on. The trolley was pretty packed, but he managed to find a seat to himself somewhere near the back. He really didn't feel like sitting next to anyone right now, and absolutely did not care for a conversation. As he looked around at the others, he wondered about how odd they all looked. Their fashion must be specific to Lumiose because he could not imagine wearing anything quite as ridiculous as they were.
Hell, one lady even had a dog-like Pokemon with a ludicrous haircut, jacket, and boots. It made him sick to think of anyone being so foolish, and he wanted to get up and slap the mess out of that lady. Yes, but then he'd have to deal with people and the aftermath, and he really just wasn't in the mood to be bothered like that. So he stayed in his seat and looked out the open window as the railcar began to move.

Delphine gave a angsty look, while Jessica looked reluctant. " Yeah. I'd like to fight someone." Delphine replied giving Ridley a sour look. That's all she needed. She returned all her Pokemon but Amma. Ridley made her way through the City and towards the large tower. She navigated her way pretty quickly to the City's center. She made pretty good time, and made her way towards the elevator. She entered the elevator she was directed too, and opened out on the large light floor. The floor seemed to be shifting on a screen saver like fashion in a dim gray. She had heard that the tower is super high tech, and it did look cool. Ridley took a step out onto the floor as it lit up white. She looked down on it for a moment until a nerd came bursting out almost no where. " Wait!" He shouted as he scurried over to her. The kid seemed pretty young, and dressed like a stereo typical nerdy kid. " What do you want?" Ridley asked, watching him stop right in front of her " I'm Arno the gym trainer here. You have to battle me first, but you have to answer my trivia question first!" Arno informed her, pushing his glasses back on his nose, which had fallen in his scurry out. Ridley rolled her eyes ans shifted her weight. " Look, I'm just here to battle. If you're not going to battle me, you can move out of the way. " Ridley commented, taking a step forward to push him out of the way. The kid straightened his vest and cleared his throat. " If you skip the trivia, the floor can be electrified by pushing a simple button." He explained confidently. Ridley stopped mid step, glancing to Amma, before stepping backwards. " Alright, Nerd, what's the question?" She asked in an annoyed tone, stepping backwards again just for extra measure, making sure to be off of the lighted floor. If it was high tech, she didn't doubt they would have some form of defense built in. " Name three electric rodent Pokemon. That aren't the same species." He questioned. Ridley thought for a second. She didn't care much for rats or electric types. " I don't know that. Pikachu, Emolga...Uh..." Ridley listed trying to think of it. She looked to Amma, who shook her head. " I don' concern myself with learning species. Ask Jessica." Amma offered. Ridley gave her a funny look, but then let out the Jynx. Jessica looked around at the high tech scene until Ridley spoke. " Name three electric rodents besides Pikachu and Emolga." Ridley asked her. Jessica hesitated, giving the blonde a confused look, and glancing toward the Gym Trainer. She couldn't fathom how this would be relevant to anything... " Well... If I remember correctly, didn't Ezra have a Pachirisu?" Jessica questioned. " Ugh. That guy, don't remind m-" She began to speak, but Arno cut her off. " That's three! lets battle!" He interrupted and began to his side of the field to battle. Ironically enough, the first pokemon he let out was a Pachirisu. What better way to get rid of a rodent? Ridley let out Marilyn. As they did, Ridley's side of the field began to waver between white and reds, while Arno's lit up in rows of white and yellow. " Marilyn, lets have a bit of fun. Lets throw out some rat poison." Ridley joked. The Mienshao smiled at the squirrel, and began running for him, but before she reached him, she began to spin and sent out waves of poison at the thing. The Squirrel let out a little cry as he toppled backwards, but was quick to get back up. With a growl he reared back and lurched forward and sent a ball of electricity at her. This sent her back as well, but she rolled back onto her feet. She spun once again attacking the Pachirisu with poison, as the floors began to light up and sparkle yellow and purple, seeming that the lights were mixing and battling as well. The Pachirisu sent out a wave of electricity and another ball. This knocked her backwards, which she didn't recover as well. Ridley could see the sparks flying off of her. " Keep it up, I know you could pulverize this rat." She called out. Which, she was right. Marilyn sent another wave of poison at the rodent, effectively knocking him out. Arno returned the Pokemon, and let out his stunfisk. Ridley took this time to return her Meinshao, and decided to take a little test and let out Morticia. The battle field began to like up all sorts of colors now. They began flashing and mixing between yellow, pink, black and brown. It was very interesting to say the least. " Alright show that fish what you're made of." Ridley called out, but the Stunfisk unleashed a blast of electric energy. It was enough to make Ridley's hair stand on end, which she was none to pleased. But Morticia wasn't knocked down... She let out a groan, as she wavered a bit. " Hmmmm, You're very good at that. It really takes me back..." She spoke. The Stunfisk was to into the battle to really think about what she was saying, but Jessica and Amma exchanged uneasy expressions, Luckily for Ridley and Arno, they didn't understand her. " Give them a taste of your petal blizzard." Ridley spoke. The Dark Florges waved her arm as a volley of petals erupted from her flowers and began to blast at the Pokemon. " Okay, then get on with it. Lets start." Ridley commented crossing her arms. " Oh okay! But um first you have to answer my question!" He stated, this caused a deep eye roll from Ridley. " Sweet Arceus. Okay what. What is your dumb trivia question?" She questioned impatiently, causing the nerd to get a bit flustered with his thoughts. He took a quick moment to get his train of thoughts back in line. " What are all of the forms Rotom commonly take?" Nelly asked her. Ridley shifted her weight again as she thought for a moment. She took a deep breath to calm the annoyance she was feeling. She didn't know if Arno was lying or not, but she did not what to risk it and piss of the nerds. " Oh, I don't know. I remember a girl at High school got haunted by one, and it stole her Oven." Ridley commented with a shrug. " That's one of the five!" The nerd exclaimed. Ridley was at a loss. She knew they could take over any electronic but she didn't know what they commonly went for... She looked to Jessica who was already deep in thought. " I saw on the news a while back about a dangerous incident, where one took over a Lawn Mower." She stated, and Nelly explained they had 2/5 right. But that was all they knew for sure, both were at a loss. " I dunno, Hair drier?" She guessed, but Nelly told her she was wrong. " Washing Machines, Refrigerators, and Fans." Amma chimed in, which shocked both Ridley and Jessica. They looked back after Nelly confirmed they were all right. Amma was a ghost after all, Ridley hadn't thought to ask her about what form they could take. "Those little poltergeists really get on my nerves." Amma stated calmly, Ridley shook her head trying not to think about what ever Amma was going with that, and was getting ready for battle. Nelly sent out his Raichu. Ridley thought for a moment, and let out Eris. The Battle field began to glitter in gold, pink, and silvers. Ridley couldn't help but find like this actually pretty. But taking the moment to take it all in was a mistake. The Raichu flew across the field and slammed it's chubby body into Eris. The Mawile slid backwards, as her jaws snapped angrily behind her. Eris whined holding her face, as if she were injured but the black jaws on her head were snarling. She looked up from her hands and her head reared back as she swung her head down and slammed her jaws into the ground. Eris did this without Ridley calling for it, which caused her to take a step backwards, almost worried she would break the light panels. The lights began flashing grays and light browns as the light panels shifted quickly and jet up wards into the Raichu before they settled once again, perfectly fine. Nelly called for a bolt of electricity, which effectively put Eris on the ground. '' Get up Eris, I know you got a lot anger in that weird head of yours. Keep doing what you were doing." Ridley encouraged. The Jaws reared back and popped Mawile back in her feet, and she did the same thing again. The Raichu tried to run for Mawile and tackle her, but as she did, Eris used her jaws to bat her off, smashing Raichu with a strong blow. This effectively knocked out the rat. Nelly let out his next Pokemon, an Ampharos. Ridley knew about them, her grandmother had one, and she knew they could be strong. She returned Eris, and sent out Delphine. Delphine pulled out her staff as it burst into flames. The field began to glitter yellow and red now, the lights swirling together across the floor. But Ridley wasn't going to be distracted. " Don't wait for them to attack, hit it with Psychic." Ridley called out, and Delphine did as she was told. She turned the flaming staff on the Ampharos, and sent the electric type flying into the fair wall. The floor began to ripple between reds, pinks, and purples. The Ampharos retorted with a pulse of energy, that knocked Delphine back, but she still stood strong. She waved the Staff again, sending the Ampharos in another direction. She returned the same attack, until Delphine raised the staff straight upward, and from it blasted a beam of energy, sending the Ampharos soaring again. Only this time, the Pokemon fainted after landing. {Ridley VS Nelly (Click Me!)}[Nelly sent out Raichu]
