Kintaro Satoshi Attica was definitely getting ready to stab some people. Hanako making her way into the group made the Pawniard even more anxious and those sharp little edges she'd been putting to the traitor Kintaro were on the verge of slicing through as many things as she could get into! Odyss was trying to guide everyone out but ultimately failed as he began flailing in the legs around him. He was lost in the praise as well and began losing track of everyone soon after. "Ms. Lucali?" What was she doing in the middle of all this? He could handle this on his own! ...Eventually. The male frowned as his partner had forced herself into a place even worse for her than himself. He was going to work toward his own solution to the problem as he began calling out for his Shiny Luxio. The crowd parted as Lillian addressed Hana. Attica found a thing to put her knives into. Mary and Odyss got uncomfortable at the sight of the Team Flare Grunt. Odyss took to using some of Kintaro's training. He moved around and ushered people away from the battle as it grew quickly. He helped an elderly woman by giving her his head to lean on as he guided her away from the mess Lillian was causing. Hanako battled well, and bravely. Sure she was terrified and she started babbling in an attempt to feel less so but she fought Lillian off and Ember was not taken. The Flare Grunt was defeated and Kintaro called his Pokemon back to him. He was going to have Attica give chase when she used the gadgets to distract everyone and escape with smoke. Attica still charged the smoke cloud, running through and coming out with nothing on the other side. She flailed and snarled furiously at the empty air, turning back to Kintaro as the man had convinced parts of the mass to return to their homes. "Ms. Lucali. You are alright. The criminal is gone now." He assured her, trying to help Hana calm down even as she grabbed onto him and cried. He held her against him nervously in hopes of calming the poor thing down. He couldn't begin to expect her to simply stop. She had lost her Deino already and Lillian had been quite impressed with Ember. She had every reason she would be out two Pokemon just like that. He smiled as the crowd readily dispersed now. They wanted to celebrate their hero and congratulate his companion for defeating the Team Flare Grunt but they could no longer pretend they weren't causing the folk heroes more stress. This time around the approaching people were more mindful of the people they were trying to show gratitude toward. Kintaro stopped a wild Croagunk, now Hanako was chasing off a Grunt from Kalos' own evil gang! A handful of people offered their congratulations a couple at a time but nobody forced Kintaro or Hanako to experience another flash mob. Attica returned after scouting for the missing Grunt and finding no evidence she was still around. Now she was extra angry. Kintaro would have absolutely let her stab that human! He was going to have to ask Spade if it was toxic or not once he returned the Mushroom. The little thing nodded and turned with a hop. The energy radiating from the mushroom top wavered as a ball of energy appeared in front of foongus. The Mushroom rapid fired the Dark Pulses, knocking the Pokemon backwards into the bushes again. " There you go. That's how you finish a battle." Alec told him in a puppy dog voice, going to pat the top only to recoil swiftly, not wanting the toxins on his hand if that's what it really was. Although the Foongus thought it was a compliment, and hopped around happily, it really was a comment on his inability to finish a battle, seeing that this was the first battle he actually finished and won. Llorona Braithwaite She had the best of intentions on trying to, at the very least, partially correct her sleeping patterns by simply taking a nap before the trip to Camphrier town. And yet in spite of the alarms she had set, Llorona found herself walking the path into the next city several long hours later than originally intended. The sleepy girl rubbed her eyes while they proceeded, unable to hide any of the very persistent yawns that escaped her. Sleeping during the day was not good for a human body and it threw just about everything off. Llorona paused at the entrance to Camphrier town, taking the time to note the extravagant castle in the distance and whistle aloud in recognition of such a place. It was absolutely beautiful! As her eyes drifted down from it and she set herself on the town ahead, however, Llorona snickered. In comparison this was just another out of the way place she would have to wander through. "Alright guys, let's get a move on. We are probably going to end up sleeping here until the party starts since I really don't feel like taking that long walk back to Lumiose... I just hope this place has a half decent hotel in it." By half decent of course she meant extravagant as the one in Lumoise, which meant that no matter what they came across the woman would be disappointed. Still, surely they would find something in a place like this to do until the Halloween party began. Llorona walked with her hands in her pockets, glancing around in feigned enthusiasm since it was about the only type of enthusiasm she could have for a place that lacked the amazing shopping she tended to seek out. By the time she found herself sitting, it was in the city square on a park bench, her fingers darting around the keyboard on the display while she tried to work out their current course of action. Apparently, she still had some time before her mother could cut her off. Llorona found this to be most unsettling. There was no way that her vindictive, money hoarding mother hadn't noticed her spending by now which meant that there was a good chance she was in for some type of terrible surprise. "Eh, oh well. Spend it if you got it I guess. Should stock up on a few more supplies while I have the chance..." She trailed off, running her fingers through Rhea's fur and stroking the small feline gently. Deadeye had been strange ever since the morning before when they fell asleep. The little Rowlet had not so much as chirped one time during the course of their journey and had kept his distance entirely - even now sitting atop a massive light post across the street and simply watching them. It was incredibly unnerving but Llorona had no idea how to deal with such behavior. Whatever it was had clearly upset the litten who liked him for whatever reason. Rhea had been a bit mopey to the point where Llorona had eventually scooped the litten up and carried her since she was slowing them down. "I don't know what has gotten into him. You'd think he was mad at me or something. He better get into a better mood soon or he's gonna stay in his ball during the party, no one wants a creepy owl staring them down the whole night!" Llorona went to stick her tongue out at deadeye, only to bite down on it when she came to a sudden realization that drew a cold sweat from her. She hadn't gotten him an outfit for the party! Her expression softened a bit even as the keen eyes of the owl sitting a distance away from her seemed to stare back and lend some truth to her speculation. Of course he was upset with the both of them - he was being left out entirely! "H-hey Deadeye, come down here and we can go shopping. I just remembered I want to do something super cool for your outfit~ Maybe a, erm... A..." She had no idea what it was that he could possibly be for Halloween because the woman hadn't given him a second thought in regards to the event. She looked down at Rhea who only mewled up at her sadly, the woman's attention snapping back when she thought of a way to help him match their attire, only to find that he was gone from his perch. She hopped to her feet and began to look around, her general sense of panic increasing in the way she spun about. "Rowlet? Deadeye? Hello?... Deadeye!? You better come back here right now, I order you to come back!" She yelled out a bit more desperately than intended, the litten in her arms jumping down onto the ground and immediately beginning to meow into the wind alongside her. Both females eventually stopped themselves from calling out, glancing at each other and exchanging a shared look of sadness. They had to find him so that she could apologize. But why not arrive in style, and really work the costume. He let out a few Pokemon. Piotr, Tamara, and Harley. They really looked the part for him. Strongman, Clown, and tight rope walker or assistant maybe. He didn't really know or understand what Tamara's deal was, but she at least looked the part. The few took in their surroundings, finding them drastically different from the tropics they were just in. " Nice look there. Whatcha lookin' so fancy for?" Harley asked, looking towards him. Tamara had a look of curiosity on her face as she idly swayed back and forth as her eyes and head stayed fixated on Alec, but she still remained silent as usual. Kintaro Satoshi Kintaro wasn't sure what to do with all of this affection, but he was grateful when she decided to go along and get their teams treated. Just a little less clinging then. Now if he could only convince this young woman to stop clinging all together...He almost got his wish when she began to notice the Halloween decoration. He had been ignoring the colored lights and synthetic horrors completely until there was simply no room left to ignore upon reaching the Pokemon Center. Mary was given Marshall's Pokeball and the Croagunk was passed to Odyss, who seemed least upset about her capture. He gave the empty balls to Attica who grudgingly carried them into the Pokemon Center while he stayed and supervised Hana. She had been attacked by Team Flare twice now. She was not going to be left unsupervised again. Why he cared was beyond him when he thought about it. He still was not willing to let the woman under his care go again. She required adult supervision and he was the unlucky candidate to do the supervising. The expression of interest in Halloween should have been discouraged, but she looked so terribly wishful for it. "What is stopping you from celebrating? We are traveling, we are not on duty for any sort of work." The male remarked, knowing he was digging a hole he wouldn't be able to crawl out of in time. "No one will prevent you from participating in festivities." Kintaro had received and ignored an invitation to visit Parfum Palace days ago, expecting to either breeze straight through Camphrier Town or just not get there before the event. Or, you know, avoid it because what reasonable person wanted to play in costumes all day. Suggesting this for Hanako was with the understanding she was not a reasonable creature. Maybe he could encourage her to take this flight of fancy and distract her from her lost Deino a while. She hadn't mentioned him but he had no doubt it still plagued her mind. With any luck, she would get excited enough to not worry about her traveling companion's lack of a costume. She only needed to dress herself up. Kintaro did not want to dress up with her. Llorona BraithwaiteFor a pokemon that literally looked like a floating bush, Deadeye was proving nearly impossible to find no matter how much they looked for him. "Does he have any idea how mad I am gonna be if I get this outfit all dirty and gross before I get to show it off?!" She scoffed, planting her hands on her knees while panting. They hadn't stopped running since the town square, covering the man entrance and virtually the entire outer perimeter of the small settlement. With this in mind, Llorona was more than a little sweaty and equally angry at the small creature for running away on her. Rhea meowed up at Llorona urgently when the human doubled over, hopping up and down. Unlike Llorona, Rhea was still full of energy as a result of her feeling of panic. "I know, I know! We will find him okay? Just... We need to find a way to track him down. He can't have gone far, the pokedex puts them as having low flight stamina." Uncharacteristic situations called for uncharacteristic actions. To this day Llorona had only used her Pokedex once before to try and identify the Rockruff. Since then the device had been collecting dust instead of finding use as it should have been to learn about her Pokemon. With the missing Rowlet, the woman had feared that perhaps he had flown out of the town, or perhaps even out of the region - and so she had been felt it a necessary evil to use the provided gadget to ensure that even if he was upset there was a strong possibility he was simply pouting somewhere in town. Once her breath had been caught Llorona and the litten continued their frantic search throughout Camphier town, stopping just about everywhere that they could until finally a local identified a pokemon he had not been familiar with as fluttering towards the Pokemon center. Based on his description it was either Deadeye or a literal floating bush. "Thank you, thank you!"She offered quickly, groaning at the amount of effort she was putting into finding the little Rowlet. It honestly made next to no sense that she should even be looking for it. Sure, he was fairly strong but Llorona had tons of Pokemon like that now and he still scared her with his creepy eyes. 'Maybe because you don't treat him well at all.' The thought crossed her mind before she could stop it, drawing a frown from the woman as she slowed herself to a stop in front of the pokemon center and began to look around wildly with her attached tail wagging in a very convincing fashion. She had completely forgotten to turn it off so there was a very good chance that she looked less irritated and much more excited about something despite how utterly incorrect that might have been. "Rowlet? Rooowlet?! Deadeye c'mon!" She whined, slumping into the nearest bench outside the door and wiping the sweat from her forehead. This day was not going as planned and she hated it! He wasn't sure why he was flying aimlessly right now, nor was he sure why he had ignored his trainer's call despite hearing her yelling from the top of her lungs several times. But worst of all, Deadeye wasn't sure why he was crying. The relationship he had with his trainer hadn't been good from the start and he knew there was very little chance of it ever getting better. Still, up until now he had been able to deal with the way she treated him, the way she talked to him, when she talked to him, and most importantly, how she looked at him. As if the thought of his existence was an irritation to her. But somehow now Deadeye was aware of just how much she hated him. Rhea had been with her as a companion less than a day and they were already shopping together, cuddling, and buying fancy outfits for the party. But not once had she considered that he wanted to play with her too. "She doesn't want me. I wish I was with the bigger human. Or the professor. Why did she take me if she didn't want me?" He chirped miserably, fluttering down above the pokemon center. Originally he had simply been flying in a straight line - but with little understanding of the human world, he had no idea where he was or what to do. With this in mind, the rooftop he landed on was the only building he readily recognized. The people inside helped Pokemon recover from their injuries... He doubted they could help him with this but it was better than continuing to fly with his wings as sore as they were. There were many people going in and out of the pokemon center for him to observe, including a very fancy man who wore a hat much cooler than his own! "Oh...So pretty." His attention was taken from the male with the wonderful top hat when he spotted a color he was sure that no one could miss. There was a short woman walking alongside what he assumed was her human companion - however his general mundane appearance only served to make her pop even more to the Rowlet. She looked like a beautiful tree! Hopping along the edge of the roof to keep an eye on her, Deadeye jumped when he heard a familiar voice that caused him to puff out and squawk. He did not want to see either of them right now! Deadeye peered over the edge and spotted both females below himself. Neither Llorona or Rhea seemed to have spotted him which meant he could run away if he so desired. After looking back and forth between Llorona and the tree woman, he decided then exactly what he needed to do - leaping from the roof and flapping along as quietly as he could after the pair. In comparison to his own trainer, the woman and even her companion looked like a more proper company. If she did not want him perhaps he could find a better trainer! (I will call it a draw!! Spade shot him a nervous look, but Alec ignored it or seemed not to see it. Spade knew what he was probably planning to do, which was rob the palace. It wouldn't be unheard of. They had robbed jewels from Darkrai's Realm. If they could steal form the legendary of nightmares, what's to stop him from robbing the historic building. Spade was sure a few guards with loaded guns would be happy to stop them. However, the Medicham's eyes lit up. " Now That is my kinda party!" She commented with an obnoxious laugh. " What are we walked there for? I could just teleport us there, and then bang boom we're partying!" Harley purposed loudly as she cartwheeled forward to get ahead of Alec and Spade, and then stopped with her arms up. She had a grin on her face, but she was the only one. " No Please!" Piotr burst out first, holding two of his four arms out. " Please no banging and booming." He exclaimed urgently. He had been warped and teleported before. Both times made him fairly sick, one even make him puke. Harley would have been angry had he not phrased it just like that, and she let out a laugh. " Haha, you sure are funny Big Guy." She commented as if it were a joke. However, Alec hadn't understood what the Machamp said, but he was pretty certain it wasn't actually funny. " That's what we're not gonna do. We're going to walk there like normal. It's not too much farther." Alec told her, as they walked past her, as she slumped downwards. Both Spade and Piotr walked past her as Tamara crept last her, looking down at the shorter psychic type as she passed her. " Hey, what are you lookin' at freak face." She spat angrily, glaring at the gardevoir. The Gardevoir just gave her a smug, and seemingly knowing, grin and shook her head as if it were on a swivel, and turned back as she teetered down the street. Kintaro Satoshi Kintaro was not nearly as interested in things as Hanako was. The workmanship of the decorations were certainly pleasing but he was appreciating them as wares. Something he might buy for Hana or Alyssa. The man pretended not to hear her explanation of being sick constantly. He'd heard it before, but he also didn't want to consider the misery she must have felt watching other children run by. Admittedly he was impressed with how she managed to be so positive after a life like that. Kintaro had known what that was like in his own way. Growing up trapped in his own body had killed a lot of his zest for life he used to have. What kind of life was it to be unable to move without hurting yourself? He was snapped out of his melancholy by Hanako grabbing his arm and running along in search of a costume shop. At least she was sufficiently distracted. His own unhappy thoughts were worth having if she was able to smile. She was looking at him now that the shop was in sight. What should she wear? "Well...you could always dress as a princess?" He suggested lamely, not realy convinced he was helping at all. "Perhaps a mummy." Kintaro was as imaginative as mud. He was thinking of simple, practical outfits.He also realized that they were costumes that could easily hide her body if she was so concerned with the fat. "Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary, are they not?" He added if she seemed to balk at the idea of wrapping up in bandage. He thought a bandage suit was scary. He used to have something like it! The man looked around slowly, seeing a myriad of costumes on the racks and the walls. He noticed a pair of costumes with the sleeves pinned as if the occupants were supposed to hold hands. That seemed foolish. He quickly looked on from the Flower Knight suit and the Frog Prince gown. He had mistaken the attire for a male knight and his princess and Kintaro was no knight. When it caught Hana's attention there was a sign just being placed out declaring that the two costumes were a role reversal for those daring damsels who needed to rescue their dashing gentlemen instead.
