 "The city of light."
In the center of the Kalos region is a thriving metropolis, the largest city in the region, and one of the largest cities in the world, Lumiose City. The city is formed and shaped in a circle, all centering around the Prism Tower in the center of the city, which is also the city's gym. The city is split into two main boulevards, the North Boulevard and the South Boulevard which span around the entire perimeter of the city, and this here is the southern boulevard.
The southern half of Lumiose City is just as busy and bustling as the north. Cobblestone walkways and streets, lined with multiple cafes, restaurants, many many many housing buildings and other little shops. Boutiques are numerous, there are stations for Skiddo transportation on most street corners, and you will always find people out and about with their Pokemon on the many side walks and corner side cafe sitting areas. Office buildings are plentiful, and there is a Pokemon Center in the southern half of Lumiose City just like there is in the northern half.

She is first and foremost a singer, and spends her nights singing in the many stages and venues that she books almost daily with in the large city. She never ceases to amaze with her costumes for herself, that she makes, as well as for her Pokemon. She often tries to bring her pop songs and dance moves into her contests. Not only is she a trained dancer, but so is all her Pokemon. She used her Pokemon for her music sets when ever she needs it, using her Jynx and Tsarenna to help her with choreography and Wigglytuff for added vocals. She is a socialite and if she isn't singing she can be found at one of the many parties, or premiers within the city. On special occasions she helps in holding concerts in the Lumiose Tower with her Pokemon which naturally turns into a light show. She's spoken with Clemont many times to get him to upgrade the Champion's Hall with his beautiful lights, but he always seems to be busy. Thomas raced, alone, down the path to Lumiose City. He knew he could move faster if his Pokemon were put away, and he was quite active so he made it there in no time. He stopped just after entering the massive, sprawling city. He doubled over, hands on his knees to catch his breath. "Been a long time since I ran like that..." He said to absolutely no one. He leaned back against a brick wall, relaxing and recuperating. "Alright, everyone. Come on out." He smiled as he released his Pokemon.
The all appeared one by one, stretching and examining their new surroundings. "You all did so great back there, and because of that we won our very first Gym Badge." They all acknowledged his appreciation in their own ways; Scyther with a nod of his head, Fennekin with a happy smile, Metapod... well, Metapod just sat there as usual... until she began to glow with a strange bright light. Thomas stared, knowing what was happening. "You're evolving again!" He couldn't be happier. Earned his first badge, evolved Metapod into Butterfree, this was a very eventful day.

Thomas had just walked into one of the countless cafes, bumping into someone who was just leaving. He muttered an apology and ordered something to eat. The Waitress cleaned off the table that the Man had just vacated, and Thomas took his place. Surprisingly, he was the only customer left in the Cafe. When they had finished with his order, Thomas dug right in. It was delicious, the best meal he had in as far back as he could remember.
After finishing his meal, Thomas rose to his feet and stretched. He yawned, but stopped suddenly when he spotted something under the table. A Pokeball, one he assumed he had dropped, was laying there. "I'd hate to have lost one of you..." He muttered, picking it up and examining the ball. "Wait a minute..." There was something off about this Pokeball. It didn't look the same. "Come on out." He ordered, splitting open the Pokeball and letting out whatever was inside.
"What are you?" He aimed his Pokedex at the Pokemon, which told him it was a Seel. "I've heard of Seel, native to Kanto." Someone must have dropped it while having a meal, probably the man he bumped into. Thomas decided that he'd keep an eye out for the man. That, if he saw the man again, he'd ask about the Pokemon. If not, he would keep the Seel. After all, he did have an affinity for Water-Type Pokemon. "You're adorable." He smiled, crouching down and resting a hand on the Seel's head. "Why don't you come along with me?"

It was around mid-day, and Thomas was exploring the massive City. Thomas had never been in a place this grand before, and there was plenty to see. Every so often, Thomas would think about the new Pokemon. It wasn't like Scyther had gotten into his party through normal means, but this was different. He hated his Father, and wanted him to suffer. Whoever this Seel belonged to could be a nice person.
His train of thought was broken when he heard a strange noise. Buzzing, and he was worried about the possibility of Beedrill. They had a fierce temper and their stingers could hurt immensely. He looked around, trying to find the source of the noise. When he found it, he paused. He had to take out his Pokedex. The 'dex told him that this Pokemon was known as Combee, and he was tempted to catch it. Suddenly, he got an idea. "Go, Seel!" He called out, tossing the Pokeball up into the air. It split open and out came Seel. "Use Headbutt!" He had wanted to test out Seel's strength, see just what he was working with here.
Seel leapt forward, slamming his horn into the buzzing bee. When the Combee fell to the ground and didn't rise again, Thomas sprayed it with a Potion and set it safely hidden aside. "Wow, that was impressive. You beat that Pokemon in one hit." Thomas was impressed, and returned Seel. This opened some possibilities.

A Pokemon jumped out of the nearby bushes, clearly angry about something. Little did Thomas know that this new Pokemon and the Combee were friends. Furfrou tackled Thomas to the ground. "Seel, Headbutt!" He forced himself back to his feet while Seel attacked and covered him. "That's it, use it again!" Seel slammed into Furfou a second time before the enemy could react. "Alright Seel, he's weak! Use Head..." But before Thomas could get the command out, Furfrou tackled Seel. "Finish this pain in the ass of with Headbutt!" A third headbutt did the job, Furfrou fell to the ground. Thomas was kind to Pokemon though, and didn't hold grudges. He sprayed a Potion onto their enemy and lay the Pokemon carefully down beside it's friend.
"Great job, Seel. Thanks again." He rubbed his stiff neck and tried to stretch away the soreness. "Here ya go." He sprayed his own Pokemon with a Potion this time. So far Seel had been a very useful addition to his team, and the urge to keep it no matter what was growing.

"Oh yeah, you'll have to go that way." The random passing Trainer told Thomas, when he asked about the closest Gym. "There's one here, but you only have one badge and this Gym is tough." Thomas nodded, and walked in the direction indicated by the stranger.
Thomas was being careful and keeping an eye out for any more threats. He was fine with battling other wild Pokemon and getting experience, but he didn't want to be caught off guard. Besides, that tackle hurt. His ribs were still sore. Near the exit, something caught his attention. "What are you?" Thomas muttered. Again he aimed his Pokedex at the strange Pokemon, and it told him that he was facing a Plusle. "An Electric-Type, huh?" He knew Seel would be at a disadvantage, but he really wanted to gain some experience. "Use Headbutt." He commanded Seel.
Plusle countered with a tackle attack, but Seel quickly retaliated with another Headbutt. "Boom!" He exclaimed with a grin, spraying both Pokemon with a Potion. "We are awesome!"

Just as he was getting ready to leave town, he heard a familiar sound. More of that same buzzing sound. He knew what it would be before he even turned around to look. "Go, Seel." He threw the Pokeball in an arc, calling out his own Pokemon. "Let's do this." He grinned.
"Use Headbutt!" Seel jumped after the Combee, but it whipped up a gust and sent Seel back to the ground. Thomas wasn't sure how he could counter the gust. Seel had to get in close to use Headbutt, and as far as Thomas knew it was Seel's only attack. Thomas was stunned when Seel whipped up a wind of it's own. The wind was speckled with flecks of ice. "Was that... was that Icy Wind?" He picked Seel up, spraying his Pokemon with a Potion.

Almost having forgotten about Combee, Thomas set down Seel and picked the bee up. He pulled a hoodie out of his bag and wrapped Combee inside of it, to warm it back up. "There ya go." He smiled as he tapped Combee with a Pokeball gently. The Pokemon was pulled inside, and Thomas waited patiently for the center light to flash and tell him the Pokemon was caught.
He slotted the now-occupied Pokeball on his belt. "Seel, return." He recalled his Pokemon and set that in his belt as well. Stretching, he had a strange suspicion that there was a hive somewhere. Two Combee is a bit of a coincidence. So he decided to hunt for more bees, and hopefully some honey.

Now that Thomas had captured another Pokemon, he knew that he needed to get his adorable little Combee all healed up. He hurried back to the Pokemon Center and immediately handed over Combee's Pokeball. "Thank you, Nurse." He smiled and nodded his head. Pacing around for a few minutes, thinking. After a while, he sat down at the PC. The screen flickered to life, and he tapped in certain commands. Setting a Pokeball on the concave scanner, it disappeared.
Thomas closed his eyes, and nodded his head. It was time for some new changes to his team. "Your Combee is feeling better now." Thomas nearly jumped out of his skin as he's brought back to reality.
"Thank you.." He muttered, rising to his feet and taking the Pokeball. He slotted it in his belt. He left the Pokemon Center, re-tracing his steps down the road out of town. A rustling in the bushes caught his attention, and he thought for sure that it was another bee. Before he knew the reality of the situation, Seel's Pokeball was in his hand. Icy Wind was his secret weapon now against these flying-types. "Go, S..." His words stopped on a dime as something he'd never seen before popped it's head out of the bush. "You must be a Kalos Pokemon." He wondered what it's deal was. It didn't matter much, the Pokedex would clue him in.

"Alright then, we'll try a different tactic." Since he planned on catching this new Pokemon to add to his team, Thomas decided to send out his heavy-hitter. "Go, Metagross!" The computer emerged ready to fight. "Use Takedown!" Before the wild Pokemon could even react, Metagross had flattened the bushes and Ralts with them. The recoil had damaged Metagross, but it was nothing a couple Potions couldn't fix. "Alright now, return." The computer was recalled into it's home. "As for you, you're coming with me." He picked the Ralts up into his arms, similar to how he treated Combee, gently tapping it's head with a Pokeball. The orb rocked a few times, but finally settled down. "One more trip to the Pokemon Center, then." He grinned, hurrying back the way he came. The back-and-forth was a bit annoying, but convenience came with a price. A short while later, Thomas' Pokemon were ready to go, and Thomas was ready to get out of this City already.

Kintaro Satoshi After cleaning Hana up and gathering their things--not forgetting Gandor in the Pokemon Center either--the pair of trainers made their way out of Santalune City and headed on their way to South Lumiose. Kintaro would much rather have skipped the city altogether, but he didn't exactly have choices at the moment. The road to Lumiose City was mostly uneventful, discussing their plan to find Baloth and where Hana thought they should start looking. Kintaro had already rambled through every possible place in Kalos Team Flare could hide on his own. Hanako was just presenting possibilities he had missed or was unaware of. It also gave her things to focus on besides what state poor Baloth could be in right now. Same for the male trainer. Attica was becoming too focused on the conversation being had to realize she was walking straight into a wild Pokemon. Ironic, considering her whole job was to keep Kintaro from tripping over something! Attica yelped, Pancham cried out, Kintaro hissed as the tumbling Pokemon caused Attica to nick his leg while the two fell into each other. Attica rolled onto her feet quickly and jumped into a ready position. Pancham mimicked her posture. When she moved to strike the obnoxious Panda, she was struck upside the head with a pad and staggered back. She kept trying to swing at Pancham while it kept trying to bash her head in with its palm thrusts. "Attica. Please stop playing with the Pancham. I would like to catch it." He instructed his Pawniard. Pancham had already crushed a Pokeball with Arm Thrust. "Use Psycho Cut." Attica's eyes flickered dangerous before she slashed Pancham with psychic force. The Panda cried out in pain and went stiff before collapsing on the ground. Kintaro tossed a Pokeball at it and Pancham was swallowed up in brilliant red light. Pancham was taken up in Kintaro's hand briefly before he opened his fingers as the object was teleported away. He glanced at Hanako after claiming his new Fighting Type, then smiled softly. "This should be useful. Team Flare appears to favor Dark, Poison, and Rock Pokemon. Attica and this Pancham should become good counters to those tactics." He remarked, nodding to himself as he knelt down to pat Attica on top of her head. "Well done, Attica. This may be a useful ally yet." He informed the Pawniard. She couldn't help by glow with pride at his praise. She had completely screwed up, but it worked out and Kintaro let it slide. Today was a good day for the smitten creature!

Kintaro Satoshi Kintaro looked down as Hana helped herself to treating the small cut. There were plenty of newer scars on his lower legs showing he'd been jabbed and cut many times. It was pretty much Attica's job to poke holes in the male. The Pawniard bristled at how easily Hana got to put herself down by her spot without even asking. She even kissed the cut! What kind of monster was she!? Kintaro frowned as she brought up how easily Attica dispatched Pancham. "Yes...He really didn't. I should add him to the team. He won't stand a chance against anyone else if I don't train him." He frowned thoughtfully, bringing up his Pokedex while Attica grew instantly nervous. She was a part of the team! What if he decided to get rid of her!? The Pawniard remained perfectly still, treating Kintaro like he was a Tyrantrum and wouldn't see her if she didn't move. If he didn't see her, he wouldn't trade her out. He glanced down at Hanako as if curious what she thought. "I suppose it is good we are in Lumiose now. I'm going to need to trade certain members of the team out anyway. Cyllage City is Rock Type. Odyss will be OK. Attica isn't prepared, but she has an advantage still. Mena would get hurt. Badly." He frowned thoughtfully, then looked down at his hip to his Pokeballs. Mena would get hurt. So would Kahuna and Hawke and Mary. He went in and sat down at the PC with a Transfer Station next to it. He set Kahuna's ball on the device and allowed it to be swallowed up in a surge of white electricity. After that he picked out Pancham's icon and the ball appeared moments later to be claimed by its trainer. He should have let Pancham out right away, but instead he stood up and moved aside to let Hana either swap some Pokemon or put some away for safe keeping while they traveled. "Yes, I believe that you should. More Pokemon present more options for battles. Although, it does also create a larger strain on some trainers. It can be difficult caring for that many Pokemon. You should probably choose what kinds of Pokemon you want to care for. It would be less strenuous on your compassionate nature." Remarked the man as he considered his own concerns with Pokemon. He could handle having a large collection without seeing many of them for long periods at a time. He didn't want to admit that this would gradually wear on him over time. Kintaro Satoshi Kintaro frowned thoughtfully as he watched Hana put away the Pokemon who didn't stand a chance against Cyllage City. She made a good point even though she never verbally expressed it. "Mena, you're going to need to rest for a while. You and Hawke are going to be alright." He said to the Butterfree's Pokeball. After Hanako got up, he sat down and logged in again to follow her example. Vivillon and Butterfree appeared on the screen after their Pokeballs were swallowed up by the machine. He was regretting sending Mena off already, but he decided that the Bug Pokemon were safest in storage. At least for now. He would definitely need to find ways to train the two of them after he came back from Cyllage City. He looked to the young woman with shock in his expression. She wanted to trade numbers? He didn't see anything wrong with it. He activated the smart watch he used for a phone and touched her phone to it. He waited, then returned the girl's phone to her. Llorona Braithwaite By the time Llorona had reached the destination provided to her by the hairdresser, the woman had to admit even she was losing some of her previous energy. They had spent the entire night shopping and now that the sun was up, the girl was realizing she may have made a mistake. With this in mind, Llorona continued to her trek through the massive city, stopping off just long enough to secure lodging for herself first as a priority. With everything she had purchased so far it had become clear to Llorona that she would be found out sooner rather than later. That was fine with her, but having no place to sleep during her stay here was unacceptable. She giggled when handed her room key - knowing she had purchased an entire week's stay at the most luxurious hotel in all of Lumiose even while knowing she would probably be gone in a day or two. "Let's see... Tons of clothes, check. New hairstyle and lodging, check. Supplies to make me a better trainer, definite check. Hmm... I don't think I can buy a car here without a regional license but there has to be something..." Llorona tapped her chin with the pencil she'd stolen from the front desk, staring down at a napkin containing both the small checklist and some crude drawings of Llorona standing over what appeared to be a very knocked out Cyren. Should he not return, Llorona fully intended on tracking him down and giving him the beating of a lifetime. Assuming she could even hurt the brick wall that her brother had become. With a sigh, she tossed the pencil down and laid back, looking to the Rowlet that had perched itself along the top of the couch behind her and the still very awake Litten beside him who seemed to be looking around curiously. The night had been long but she still felt the urge to do SOMETHING. "What's a girl to do by herself in a foreign country Rhea? You should understand my boredom. I've got no purpose since Cyren is being a complete butt right now. . ." Llorona trailed off when something on the table caught her eye, prompting vague interest from the girl. It appeared to be some sort of flier for a nearby regional attraction. Noting the link on the bottom of the flier, she shrugged and pulled up her phone, scrolling through the different digital broadcasts until she found the link in question and turned her speaker on. The screen lights up and the image of Parfum Palace fills the view. A large pair of speakers rise into view a the camera pans down with an announcer beside the present owner and director of Parfum Palace both extravagantly dressed for Halloween. "Good evening!" Declared the announcer, drawing his cape up to imitate a vampire. The director let out a howl right into his companion's ear showing off a convincing Lycanroc costume. "And welcome to Parfum Palace! Where, this year, we will host a Halloween Hedge Labyrinth for all to enjoy! Bring your friends! Don't be afraid! Or do...but don't miss out!" The two men play off of one another soliciting trainers to visit and enjoy the festivities while also suggesting strongly that donations should be presented as well. The advertisement ends and resumes regular television or radio programming.Llorona blinked a few times when the broadcast ended, as if unsure how to really gauge what she had just essentially been invited to. In Unova - events like this tended to occur at a much later part of the year, and yet she could not contain the sudden expression of sheer joy that came over her face, the woman's legs kicking up suddenly and startling the litten behind her while she rocked back and forth with her fists pumping into the air. "A party! It's an open invitation party!" She squealed, jumping from the couch and starting for the door only to nearly topple over when she realized she was going to leave both Pokemon behind. Rhea tried not to meow aloud when Llorona started making a fuss over whatever she had seen on her phone, tilting her head a bit in confusion when the girl seemed intent on going out - again. The small Litten looked back and forth between the human and Deadeye several times as if to communicate that leaving him here was not an option for her. "He is so tired though~! We should rest until he feels better!" Llorona's excitement was contagious - but not so much that she wanted to leave her friend behind! Llorona Braithwaite With the help of a few nearby guides, finding a place that suited Llorona's needs took little to no time at all, the girl's sneakers squeaking against the floor in a childish fashion when she entered the costume shop. There had been quite a few options for scary costumes within her immediate area - however, she didn't want just another mask or skimpy outfit, so that ruled out most of the mainstream stores. There was one particular place that had captured her eye from the beginning anyway. As Llorona looked around with her arms crossed beneath her chest, what appeared to be a small charmeleon stepped out from the back room and quickly breathed fire into the air. Needless to say, the woman stumbled backward, nearly stepping on the litten in the process. "H-hey! Where is your trainer!" She scolded when the creature looked at her, drawing closer and closer until she was certain she would have to fight the overly aggressive pokemon. "Oh man you should see the look on your face!" When it spoke, Llorona had a brief moment of pure terror. when its mouth opened she could swear that she actually saw a pair of eyes inside of the thing- Did it eat a human being?! Opening her own mouth did nothing for the laughter Llorona heard coming from the chameleon who seemed to finally have some mercy on the girl, his clawed hands reaching up and promptly removing his 'head' to reveal the human being inside of it. "I was wondering if I managed to capture the real essence of a Charmelon - if your expression is any indication, I can safely assume that I have succeeded." When the black and blue colored woman began to growl at him, the man offered a sheepish grin and held his hands out defensively, taking a few steps away while Llorona gathered herself and corrected her posture. "Yes, you make good costumes. That is why I am here. I -" "Are looking for something you can't find anywhere else? Are you a movie star? Maybe a cosplayer looking to take a global tour? Or maybe you are just more than a bit k-" Growling yet again as she stepped forward and placed a hand over the overly excited male's face - Llorona rolled her eyes and lifted a finger to her lips in a stern physical gesture. When next he had the ability to speak, the man only reddened and allowed her to explain what it was that she had come for.
