But he looked at Alec like he was stupid. He waved a flower in the air, making a loop-de-loop motion. Meaning a flip, Alec was able to understand what he meant. He had two costumes from his circus days. " I'm not gonna wear my old acrobat costumes. This is a Palace. I can't go practically shirtless." He responded. Spade's look softened as they walked. " We're in the City, where else will we find a better costume?" He answered. Spade seemed to agree as they began towards the shopping district, or at least a street of mostly shops. He began skimming the shops as they walked, trying to find a costume store amongst all of the fashion outlets. " You know, Jinx said Victoria worked as a Model here in Lumiose." He commented. Spade looked up to him, recognizing the name from the band. Spade did like Victoria, she was calm and liked staying out of trouble. However, her uncanny ability to see the future always worried Spade, she might have seen something Alec didn't want her too. However, She was a very chill person. One of the few people he genuinely liked in the Band. He had made fun of Vanessa's "Family friend" Thomas for being Posh, but no one could out do her. She always was in designer and ready for a runway, even during dance practices. She was always about voguing and face value. Victoria was gorgeous, and he wasn't surprised she was succeeding as a model, even in the band that was her focus. " Maybe we could meet up with her. She could hook us up with some designer costumes." He joked, but Spade didn't really believe he was joking. They both liked the model, but he didn't trust Victoria not to blow the whistle on him. " You're right, She's cool, but I don't think we should surprise her. Not that we could really surprise her." Alec replied, getting a knowing look from the Roserade. If she wanted, Victoria probably already knew he was in the City, she could have seen him talking about her here. But he wasn't too worried. She was always out of the way, and a neutral party. As long as he didn't throw anything her way, he figured she'd stay in her lane. " There's one." Alec commented, making his way across the street and into the costume store. Spade waited outside. The flower knew Alec had no intention on playing for the costume, so he didn't want to draw any attention. Alec walked in and began skimming through the options. He figured he would just go as a generic demon or costume like that. The clerk was focused on some young woman with black hair, which was perfect for him. He browsed through the men's section, he wasn't going to wear some ill-fitting Pokemon costume. He thought that was beyond stupid. Seeing those grown ass men, Pokemon maniacs, dressed as Pokemon. That that insane woman Valerie in the Laverre Gym. He always found it so annoying. However, he might just be bias because of his hatred for Laverre. He silently browsed, flicking through the outfits, trying to make his choice. It wasn't until he spotted a top hat did he know what he wanted. He moved over to the old looking top hat. He looked at the Costume attached to it and it was perfect. A ringleader. Perfect. He pulled it off the rack, finding it to be the right size for him. He grinned as he looked it over. " Hey, Hellsing, thing you could make it an easy get away, and faze this out for me?" He mentally called out to his Haunter. He wasn't sure if the ghost really ever let himself get returned, he seemed to always be listening. " Would be my pleasure." The ghost hissed in his mind. With that, the costume he was holding disappeared entirely. Alec assumed he might have just made it clear or what ever, however Ghosts worked. But it was gone. It was good timing because it seemed the girl was finishing up as he finished. So he made his way out 'empty handed.' wanting to go by unnoticed. As he got outside, he found Spade, staring at a old white looking suit folded and sitting next to him. He was staring wide eyed at it. " Hellsing helped me get it out." He commented, which Spade now looked relieved. But he then hooked a flower under the top hat sitting on top and looking up to his with a "Are you sure?" look. Assuming it was some form of groom look. " You'll see what it is. Lets go." He commented, and scooped it up and began on his way. Llorona Braithwaite Llorona was a little too curious about the outfit she had acquired, her childish curiosity causing her to play with the remote the moment William had returned to his shop. It appeared to have several different settings she could toy with. One of the buttons caused her ears to perk up and the mechanical tail to wag around happily, while another caused them to flatten against her hair while the tail went limp. "Huh. I guess the price tag on something like this is pretty well justified. I might even be able to wear it to a costume party back home, the people will flip out~!" She giggled at the thought of being the star of any kind of party, setting the device to its default and pausing once the remote was safely set away into her pocket. There were a lot of people on the streets of Lumiose even now, so the crowds themselves weren't all that overly interesting. However, she found herself stopping a moment and looking around regardless. The woman could almost swear she saw one of the outfits from inside the costume shop being toted away in the arms of someone who looked more than a little untrustworthy. And someone who had definitely been browsing while the shopkeeper had started running her measurements. Llorona considered spinning in her sneakers and returning to tell William what she was certain had been a robbery but several different reasons not to all popped into her head at once. "Eh, I guess it really isn't any of my business. Besides, don't want him thinking I came back just to see him again so soon."By the time Llorona had returned to the hotel, exhaustion had finally caught up with the woman. She was in no way used to staying up all night and sleeping during the day, no matter how positive she was that it would help her at the party. With this in mind, the black and blue haired human wasted very little time in collecting her Rowlet and paying the man who had done watched him. Deadeye had not moved so much as an inch before Llorona returned, though once he woke and saw the new costumes, took on a series of strange looks at both Rhea and Llorona. "C'mon you two, time to get some sleep, we still have a bit of a walk through.. Campeer? Camphirer? Whatever, Campy town. I do not want to be late for this event, especially since you and I are probably going to win best dressed if they have that~" She beamed down at the little red riding Rhea. The thought of waltzing into a party and becoming the center of attention definitely appealed to Llorona, and consumed her sleepy mind all the way up to their room while she carefully removed the costume and showered. Cyren was going to wish he hadn't left once he heard all about the adventure she was having! Yawning, the girl tossed herself onto the single bed in the room and tried to shut her eyes, groaning when the light from the windows made it clear she would either have to get back up or suffer through it until she finally hit sleep. Slowly, however, as if on a wish alone, the curtains began to draw themselves closed, darkening the room a little at a time. Llorona forced herself to sit up and stare over curiously, watching Deadeye tug on the blinds until they were fully closed before smirking just a little. "H-hey there, now that is useful. Thank you Rowlet." She offered, noting the little thing looked...Sad? As sad as owls could really get she supposed. At once Llorona felt the need to move herself over and pat the little creature, but the bit of a shiver in her spine she felt prevented the action from becoming reality. Instead, she let her head hit the pillow and merely took to staring at him in a curious fashion. She had seen him like this once before, but now he just looked depressed... Maybe once she got back to Cyren he could figure out what was wrong with it. "The costume shop was amazing~ They had all sorts of cool stuff in there, and even the human was a big scary fire pokemon in disguise, you should have seen Llorona's face!" Rhea meowed to Deadeye while Llorona showered, trying to make conversation with her friend since he had woken up from his nap. At first, she thought that maybe Deadeye was just tired still. It had been a terribly long trip and he had been awake for most of it. But as he continued to ignore her, the little litten's ears flattened with a tinge of sadness. The Rowlet had not moved from his perch on the lamp since they entered the hotel room and he simply sat, staring at the wall away from both herself and Llorona once the human re-joined them and took to laying down. Something was wrong with her friend and she wanted to know what it was that bothered him so that she could help! "H-hey, Deadeye, do you want to come down here and snuggle with me? You are so warm and fluffy and we can sleep better together!" This time when he did not respond, The litten jumped up carefully onto the side of Llorona's bed and tried to pat the fabric when the Rowlet turned and saw her. For a second it almost looked like he was considering her offer, only to jump down onto the floor and slowly draw the blinds. Once his task was complete he replaced himself atop the lamp where she could not reach him and ruffled his feathers, hunkering down for sleep. Rhea whined miserably, unsure what it was that had upset him so much. Maybe he did not want to be woken up? Or maybe he was upset they had left him behind? The fire-starter paced in a slow circle for some time before settling herself down and mewling once more to the empty room, watching Deadeye until she finally started to nod off. Whatever it was that was bothering him might get better once he had some decent rest. (She no want trouble, she no rat him out :x Next time ASK a complete stranger to buy you an outfit! Thomas was sitting on the trolley, staring out of the window and thinking about what was still yet to come. He was glad to know that at last he was on a course that had not been started by that simpleton version of himself. Everything from that blonde b**ch to the Kalos Gym battles had been started by the alter ego. The trolley slowed with a series of bright melodic tones of it's bell. Thomas looked up, pulled from his thoughts. He rose with the others and waited patiently in the line to climb off.
There were a number of shops around him, and he ducked into a clothing store and started looking around at a new outfit. He could tell at a glance that he'd have to find someplace else for a new pair of shoes. In the meantime, however, he decided on a pair of fashionably ripped jeans so dark they were nearly black, a sleeveless green jacket with the collar popped up, and a black tank top. He walked up to the cashier and decided to pay for the new clothes - it wouldn't do him any good to have the cops looking for him - and simply wore the new clothes out. -BACKPACK-

Likely she didn't ask other Customers this, only ones she wanted an excuse to keep her eyes on. He seemed to consider it for a moment, picking up a sneaker and flipping it over. "I'm looking for something to go with this outfit. I'm sure you can tell that my shoes are worn out." His eyes flicked up to hers, and their gazes locked. "I'm in a bit of a hurry, but I'd like to look nice for a... gathering." She walked around the counter and started down another aisle. He raised an eyebrow, and moved to the end of the aisle she had gone down.
Sight guided by her finger, she trailed it up and down over the open boxes of shoes. "Here." She said, finding what she'd been looking for. She pulled the box down and brought it over to him. "These should work. They won't be very comfortable, but..." She moved off to grab something off a peg. "...these will make up for that." She brought whatever it was back over to him and handed it over. He looked down and realized they were inserts. "They work well, I use them for all my shoes. You just have to cut them down to fit into the shoe." He thanked her, and let her lead him up to the register. He actually did like the black steel-toe boots. They sort of completed his 'I'm a badass' look.

Upon entering the door, he saw that it was a magnificent costume shop. The walls and shelves were lined with the most detailed masks and outfits he'd ever seen, any Halloween-lover would be salivating to get in here and have a look around. It made him wonder why it was so empty. Glancing at the check-out counter he spotted that nobody was there. Perhaps in the back room? It couldn't hurt to have a look around. He walked down the first aisle, spotting weapons that - if he hadn't known any better - he'd have thought real. Giant glinting scythes, hammers with unsettling brown-ish stains on them, and knives with intricately carved handles that looked... old, very old.
He didn't want weapons though. The outfit he had in mind would not require anything to carry around and in time grow tired of carrying around. So he moved on. The next aisle had mask after mask in rows going all the way up to the ceiling. Some were grotesque, others looked like real Human faces, but one in particular caught his eye. Becoming excited, he hurried down the other aisles in search of an outfit to match. Three rows over, he spotted it - an old-fashioned tailored suit with autumn leaves on the shirt beneath the suit's jacket. He hastily grabbed it from the shelf, and hurried back to the mask just to see how they looked with one another... it was perfect! He went to the counter and rang the little service bell. Peering into the back, a man emerged from the darkness of the back room and grinned broadly at him. "Whah helloooo, mah boy!"

Elfana Aroway At the next Pokemon Center, Elfana made the decision to send Cranberry to the lab until she needed him again. Her bag was full of Pokeballs and she needed to make room. She ended up letting all of her Unown out of their Pokeballs after a lengthy mental debate. Most of the Unown vanished to where ever it was Unown liked to hide. The T and P shaped Unown stuck around long enough to collect all of their Pokeballs before following the others. She hoped she would receive some warning before they decided to show themselves again. Elfana stopped by the counter to collect her stamp after she had finished organizing her things. She felt as if she had made more progress in South Lumiose City than she had the last few towns. There hadn't been many distractions. Walk to the Pokemon Center, complete the few tasks she had in mind, then move on. It was the ideal trip through the city. She had just let Pantalaimon out of his Pokeball so he could enjoy the walk too when she was approached by Elise's idea of a messenger. Elfana didn't know whether she was more impressed by how quickly Hoji's new toy had been delivered to her lab or how little time it took Elise to send it their way. The Pokemon that Elise had sent it with was a Vulpix. Had everything about him not radiated cold, she would have assumed it was a Kantonian Vulpix. Nothing about his coloring reminded her of Ice. "Thank you very much." She knelt down and patted the Vulpix's head after taking the parcel from him. It was given to Kiro from there. The Croagunk and Rotom could figure out the new watch while Elfana was busy with the Vulpix. "You weren't sent with a Pokeball. Where do you plan on going from here?" She assumed he would return to the lab but it was just as likely that the Vulpix was a wild friend of her Ditto. He watched her thoughtfully while he considered his options. Apathetic. That was the only way Elfana could describe the Vulpix. His golden eyes were filled with a sort of cold indifference that she could appreciate. She remained still until he jumped in her lap. Apparently she had passed his test. He climbed on to her shoulders and dd himself over them like a fluffy scarf. He would remain there until he felt like walking again. "Fair enough. Everyone ready?" She scooped up her Turtwig before looking to the rest of her Pokemon. Kiro had managed to secure Hoji's new watch around Walter's wrist. The Rotom hadn't hesitated to take it over from there. "I'll take that as a yes." She shrugged before making her way out of the Pokemon Center. Walter could Teleport them if they needed to catch up. Kalos

Cyren Braithwaite 
Rhea mewled miserably in Llorona's arms. The poor Litten seemed to be getting the worst of whatever Jirachi was doing to them. If any of them were going to be ill, it was going to be Rhea. She buried her little furry face in Llorona's chest and whined. "Make it stop, please." She wanted the weird feeling to go away as soon as possible! The Litten needed the world's longest cat nap then to spend at least an hour cleaning up her fur. It was a mess. Venus didn't appear to be doing too much better. The Machop was upright but she looked exhausted. Trying to keep herself together was harder than it needed to be. She couldn't let herself relax- especially with Cyren as bad off as he was. If she wasn't careful, he could get hurt! The only one who seemed to be enjoying herself was the Kecleon. She would occasionally stare off into the distance for extended periods but Cyren still couldn't tell if that was Jirachi's fault or if it was just Hal being Hal. Trading for the Kecleon was been one of the best choices he had made during his journey so far. The weird little Pokemon was proving to be an endless source of amusement for the "sick" man.Partners: SorukaNyoki

Llorona Braithwaite  After the events of the last few days, Llorona found herself with something she really never had a lot of - and that was patience. Not that the woman possessed a large capacity for it, but since she'd already run through her entire supply of anger, mockery, and full-blown sob fests of self-pity over the course of seventy-two hours, her mental warehouse was a little dry at the moment with the exception of the aforementioned patience. She was glad she had it now however because watching what appeared to be an aimless walk in near silence for this long was threatening to drive her insane. Llorona physically winced every time the Kabutop's claws dug into her brother's shirt, trying to keep herself from watching the terrifying experience that was a simple walk with her afflicted sibling. Not that she could really avert her eyes or her attention for too long even if she'd wanted to. Drunk, sick, or whatever her brother was - he was STILL larger than life. No matter where she looked he was in her peripheral vision so that was kind of a loss in itself. As they continued to walk walk, or, as she walked and Cyren stumbled aimlessly, the woman tried to think of ways she could be helpful. Offering to carry the Kabutops was sort of out of the question even if she'd been willing to do so since it was larger than she was. Cyren apparently never got his Pokeball repaired either so that was a thing. After the longest time, Llorona snapped her fingers in triumph - preparing to speak when she realized she'd failed yet again. Calling for a taxi service was a pretty good idea - if she hadn't been broke. "Huh?" She stated in confusion, both because of the vagueness of her brother's sudden statement and because she'd been in the midst of trying to envision how she'd get Yami into a cab even if she couldn't afford it. "What is a psychic type?" She knew he was talking about the sleeping wish maker in Atlas's arms, casting a dour look at the Hitmonchan who only looked away sheepishly and continued to do the duty bestowed upon him. Truth be told - her patience up until now wasn't simply the result of exhaustion. She was STILL walking within feet of a Pokemon who could literally do anything she asked of it... Stood to reason she was going to be on her best behavior in case this Jirachi worked anything like Santa-Claus was supposed to. She stroked the tiny litten in her arms and frowned. Rhea did not look happy with her current condition and Llorona didn't blame her. the cat looked like she'd gone on an all-night binder and taken the walk of shame home only to realize she was at the wrong house! "I'm sorry Rhea. Just hold on a little longer. When we get closer to the Pokemon center we can all g-" Llorona pressed her index and thumb to the bridge of her nose, tempering her expectations when her brother started to ramble on about fruits. Until she realized he was actually making some decent sense. "Wait- you mean berries? Like the battle Berries?" Had she been talking to her brother when he was sober, she would have flushed in embarrassment at her choice of words. Calling them battle berries was something she hadn't done since literal grade school when that was how they had been introduced. But otherwise, she wasn't sure what else to call them except 'fruit' herself and she was not about to sink to Cyren's level without so much as a drop of liquor. "So...He needs some berries to feel better then?" It dawned on Llorona at that moment that Cyren might actually not be drunk at all, more to the point - he could very well have been under some Psychic Pokemon Juju that was forcing him to do Jirachi's bidding. The thought was both incredibly cool and also slightly terrifying. Then her brother tripped and she was back to reality. "Jesus, are you okay?" The black and blue-haired woman started to jog up to his side to place an arm on his shoulder but stopped short when she realized she liked both of her hands attached to her body. Unconscious Yami was less dangerous than conscious Yami, but he was still dangerous. "Okay, we are going to fix the, uh... Stars." She stated, continuing to stroke rhea as if that was a good excuse for not helping her brother up. Deadeye had removed himself from Llorona's shoulder in favor of sitting on Atlas's instead. He was worried for the Litten but he didn't trust the little Pokemon Atlas held. For some reason, he just knew it was Jirachi's fault that Cyren and Mars, and everyone else - save for maybe the lizard thing, were acting all weird! "Hey Atlas." He chittered in what was the Rowlet equivalent of a whisper. Atlas did not turn his gaze towards Deadeye, the Hitmonchan entirely fixated on the occasional slap of the Kelcleon's tongue against Yami's blades. He was impressed, Every one of Cyren's Pokemon was barely managing to walk upright but this thing was more or less throwing high-speed jabs at sharpened steel. If Hal missed...Well, he'd know if he missed. "Yes, Deadeye?" He responded, stopping short and shaking the little bird nearly from his perch as Cyren stumbled. Atlas wasn't worried about the man falling, had he thought the angle dangerous, he would have attempted to stop it. Thankfully it worked out as he predicted, the owl ruffling his feathers before chirping. " I almost fell! Also... Do you think Jeerchi is making everyone sick? And how come he isn't making you sick? you are the one holding him." Atlas smiled a bit and finally took the time to look at the Pokemon speaking to him. "So did Cyren. Best to give Master Braithwaite some room right now while he is under the weather. Unless you'd like to get hit by one of those scythes? Also... I don't know. I was asked to carry him so I will carry him. I'm not a doctor, nor am I very wise in these matters. I've always found it best to simply do as one is asked by a Braithwaite." He did not mention that he was truthfully opposed to Llorona's line of thinking in that she was more concerned that this was some type of psychic weirdness than an actual disease. In his experience, Psychic Pokemon who could get into your head and control you could also read minds. If that were the case and Jirachi could do these things, Atlas liked to think that the wish maker would have put him under control as well at some point. Venus moved so she could walk alongside Atlas. She was glaring at Jirachi. The Machop fully blamed the Wishmaker for whatever was happening to them. She remained quiet for a long while, struggling to piece together what she wanted to ask. If her thoughts could focus for a couple of seconds she would greatly appreciate it! "If we get rid of it would it fix this?" She finally asked before she tripped over her own feet. She righted herself before continuing. Her attention would need to be divided between walking and talking if she wanted to avoid falling. "Pro...pox...Poxini...closeness. Causing trouble cause close." Llorona Braithwaite The woman flushed slightly when he repeated her choice of words even while knowing Cyren probably hadn't even noticed the elementary phrasing and therefore was certainly not picking on her for using it. Thankfully, she did not speak Pokemon and therefore did not have to listen to several of the party recite the same phrasing several times a few minutes later. She watched Venus assist Cyren with an almost pained expression on her face for having witnessed it. Everything they did just looked... stupid. Like one drunken frat boy helping another so they could finish stumbling to their dorm. "I'm sorry, what now?" Llorona was past her concerned stage at this point, scratching the side of her head as if to conjure recognition out of her brother's words. "Did you mean region? Or island?" She knew in her heart and soul that persuing conversation with Cyren was only going to result in the disintegration of her brain cells but the woman felt she had to try. He'd come all this way to fetch her and hadn't complained about it so... She owed him one. "Hey Cy- I think Yami is-" Llorona cringed at the sound of the Kabutops striking the ground, finding at least a little solace in the fact that she was not alone, Deadeye, Rhea, and even Atlas seemed to sort of lean away instinctively as if in preparation for the thing to get up and start rampaging... Which of course it didn't. The woman growled when Hal lashed out her direction, panicking a moment and squeezing the little litten for fear that the afflicted Kelkleon might have gone mad and was attempting to devour Rhea. Again, he wasn't - but since she had absolutely no clue what was happening, it was just safer to assume the worst. As the Litten settled back down against her she scowled and turned her body and the litten slightly away from Hal, snorting- "Watch the tongue buster, Litten is not food... Ewww what IS that?" Atlas blinked once, then twice, and then a third time - remaining absolutely still with the berry before him, as if trying to confirm that this random thing was for him. Thankfully, even with the stupor affecting Cyren's group - Atlas still had the benefit of speaking the language of the Pokemon and managed to grasp the general concept of what was transpiring here, even if it took him a few additional seconds. "Battle berry." Begrudgingly, the Hitmonchan pulled the offered berry from Hal at Cyren's word and placed it on the lap of the cradled and still sleeping Jirachi, shrugging very gently so as not to disturb his passenger. "I hope that other berry agrees with your constitution. It looked.... overly ripe." He stated for the simple fact that it was either comment on that, or verbally acknowledge the sound Hal's tongue made when he unstuck the berry from it. He was not alright with the latter. Deadeye observed the struggling Machop and had to resist the urge not to chitter with joy when she brought up disposing of the sleeping legendary Pokemon. That sounded like a wonderful idea to him! Jirachi was more trouble than he was worth as far as the Rowlet was concerned - his magic voodoo was hurting Rhea! "Yes! That - let's do that!" Almost as quickly as the pair had finished the thoughts, or, more accurately, as quickly as Deadeye had expressed his and Venus more or less stumbled through her own - Atlas mimicked Llorona almost perfectly, turning away from them both slightly as they continued to walk and cradling the sleeping Jirachi just a bit closer to his body. "I believe the word you are looking for is proximity. But, as much as I agree with...the general idea behind that plan, we don't know for sure if it will work. And if it doesn't do you really want this thing stumbling around as absent-mindedly as you all are? We'd never find him again. Besides, Master Braithwaite entrusted me with holding onto it. If he'd like me to remove Jirachi, I'd certainly be willing to give it a go, but not before it becomes necessary or he asks this of me." As usual, Atlas was still impressed with Venus. She was intelligent even in her current state, not to mention her plan was exactly the type of thing he'd have suggested under different circumstances. Normally getting out of the range of a psychic Pokemon did help to remove the effects of whatever it was that they did, he didn't know exactly how it worked. "Cyren, I am literally begging you. Please try to keep your brain together for like five seconds and maybe tell me exactly what kind of berries we need to be looking for so that I can help?" He was just randomly spouting the first thing that came to mind now? Yami was clearly still blind, and maybe some headgear would help the creature see - but in his current condition, she wasn't exactly sure that was a GOOD thing. "Great. Now he's going feral." She muttered at the sight of her brother hissing at a Kabutops. She didn't know what was going on, where they were supposed to be going, or what exactly they were supposed to be doing to end this - but Llorona knew one thing for certain. First chance they got, she was going to take all of her brother's Pokemon into a center and make him take a nap. She knew it wasn't your average drunken stupor but rest was the best medicine, right? "Proxinminty." Venus repeated back. She knew it still wasn't right but her brain refused to work with her long enough to say the word she wanted. The Machop briefly considered trying to take Jirachi from Atlas and throwing him away herself but thought the better of it. She wasn't going to win any fights in her current state. "Throwing it when we're fixed." As far away as she could. Much like Cyren, she never wanted to see Jirachi again. They were cursed thanks to him. Right when things were finally getting back to normal, they were messed up by the Legendary Pokemon. How could they collect badges if she couldn't even walk without worrying about falling over her own feet?! She groaned miserably and buried her face in her hands. This proved to be as mistake. As soon as she lost sight of the ground, she fell forward. The Machop didn't say anything. She remained where she was for several seconds before picking herself up and continuing on. That Jirachi was definitely getting thrown. Couldn't they fly? He would probably be fine. She grumbled to herself while she considered all the different ways they could remove that Jirachi from their lives.Partners: SorukaNyoki

Llorona Braithwaite Llorona scowled a bit behind her brother's back as he tried to explain exactly what it was that they needed to find. This was getting more than a little ridiculous to say the least. "Cone berries." She repeated in a tone as level as she could manage without letting too much of her frustration show through. He wasn't even actually trying to explain it to her - his tone seemed more like he was asking, though whether he was asking her or himself remained to be seen. Either way it was causing her to grind her teeth a bit. With more than a little of that same frustration she was keeping from her voice, Llorona bored holes into Hal. Likitung was such a stupid Pokemon honestly, no living creature should ever get to look that dopey and get away with it. "Sweet god." The woman muttered, realizing she was being more than a little petty regarding the pink Pokemon. Without saying anything for fear that Cyren might reply with something even more silly than anything he'd said thus far, Llorona took a few steps up to get ahead of her brother and pointed off down a separate path, knowing full and well that it had been the same way she'd come into this nightmare. If he wanted to find berries, she'd do her best to oblige him, but without anything else to go on, the best she would really do was point her drunken tin soldier in the right direction and watch him go. With any luck, the warm salty air of the Alolan region might yet help her brother... though she was beginning to doubt it. "Battle berries will fix the stars." She repeated in a tone that was much less encouraging than it probably should have been, reaching towards her brother to give him a reassuring pat on the back but stopping short when she saw Yami's blade's still swinging ominously on either side of him. She rather liked her hands attached to her body. "Close enough." Atlas retorted instantly to the smaller fighting type. It dawned on him suddenly that he had never met a female Machop before, though for what reason he did not know. The thoughts that came after that were.... Odd to him.  "Dear me, this place if big!" Roma stared up at the high buildings as she and her team made their way into the bustling city. "Stick close to me, lovelies." She adding in warning as they were swallowed by the crowd. Luckily, most people gave her a little room so she needn't worry about being jostled about as she slowly made her way down the street, her pokemon shadowing her as close as they could without becoming tripping hazards. Ringo swooped above with Sunshine, both scouting the best route to a place for Roma to rest.
It took them a bit, but eventually the group found a quaint little coffee shop to stop at along the way.
"Excuse me ma'am..." A voice caused Roma to look up to see a stressed-looking young man beside her. "Would it be too much to ask for a small favor? Our machinery is acting up and it's rush hour, could you spare a fire type or two to help out just until the technician fixes the machine? We could pay you." He spoke quick and light, as if already prepared to be rejected, and Roma assumed he had already asked for help from a few others with no luck.
"Oh of course, dear. No payment needed, I'm always happy to help. Spectra, Rose, you heard the man. They need your help." Rose and Spectra looked at each other before grinning and following the man behind the counter. Roma and her little group spent the afternoon drinking their lattes and relaxing after a gorgeous day. It wasn't until it was beginning to reach dusk that Roma rose to her feet.
"Alright Dears, it's time to go if we want to be there by dark." She collected her things and headed for the door, pausing as she passed by the young man from earlier. "Thank you for the drinks, hun. My pokemon had a blast! If you ever need help again never be scared to ask." She had barely gotten the words out before she noticed a hesitant expression cross the young man's face. "Actually... Is there any chance you're headed to Camphrier Town? Would you mind delivering an order for us along the way? I'm so sorry to ask for more after you helped us out already, but our delivery boy's Talonflame hurt it's wing.."
"Why, I see it as no trouble, my dear. I'm headed that way anyway after all. I hope his wing heals soon, a downed bird is a sad bird as they say." Roma smiled warmly at the young man before accepting the hot wrapped lunch and handing it to Sunshine to carry.
"Now Sunshine if it starts to cool you ask Spectra to warm it up with her tail, ok dear?" With that, Roma got the address to bring the food to and headed for the door with one last wave to the young man. Traveling through the Lumiose went a lot faster thanks to the bike, and Fabian's Gogoat. The roads were basically made for this form of communication, and.. well, Gogoat rides were in-fact popular in this area. Knowing most of the roads and alleys like his own pocket, Vale made it swiftly to his university - maybe not to see some old faces, but to get the brochures for Basil's friend, as he promised. He might had hit his head hard, but at least his memory wasn't that bad.
He parked the bike in the right spot and turned to his brother. "I will be back in a moment."
Fabian said nothing back, only rolled his eyes and patted his Pokemon. Franky, he wasn't expecting him to even have a Gogoat in the first place - it was weird to realize how much had changed. But now that he was back, they should talk about it and fix most things (maybe).
He felt oddly nostalgic as he entered the mainhall. This wasn't the main building where he studied, but it was all connected enough for him to wander around during his early years here. And, well, why would he only limit his acquaintances to his classmates when he had such big place to cover? But now he pushed that all asiede, and walked towards the shelf where they kept the flyers, brochures and books. He wasn't too interested in history, so he didn't pay attention to those before, but that wasn't for him anyways.
For the longer while it was all quiet, but then he heard footsteps behind and he turned, curiously. Vale recognized the man - relatively tall, with medium dirty blonde hair and brown eyes. They weren't classmates, but they both lived in the dorm (although in separate rooms). He wasn't too found of him, however, and he was hoping the man won't recognize him. That hope went out of the window the moment they made an eye contact.
"Well, that's unexpected." the man said, eyeing him up and down. "Valentine."
"Jessau. Hi." he muttered back, taking the papers he needed. He wanted to keep the visit short. "Are you sneaking out from your lectures again?"
"Maybe. The prof doesn't even care, and neither I do." Jessau shrugged, in his rather ignorant manner. "Are you back so soon?"
"Not really. I haven't given up on challenging the Unova league, but I just.. well, need a break." he replied, wording it carefully. "I'm just passing by."
"I see.." the man said quietly and then something sparked in his eyes, and Vale didn't like it. "Hold on, you are now a trainer, right?"
He didn't quite expected that question, but he nodded slowly. "For now, yes. I will be back there, don't get your hopes too high."
"Yeah, whatever. Look, could you take care of it, then?" he waved his hand, and then carelessly rummaged through his bag. To his huge surprise he brought out a bit worn out PokeBall. "My uncle works in the Day Care and someone just left that thing in there with no notes, nothing. It's a free Pokemon then, but it doesn't fit me."
"Hold on, what-" Vale stuttered, and he was taken aback even more then Jessau just shoved the object in his hands.
"I take that as a 'yes'. Thanks man!" he winked at him and then stormed out, leaving him stunned.

Well, that just happened. He sighed and looked at the gifted PokeBall. It was a bit worn out, but he could now tell that indeed there was a Pokemon inside. But what was he supposed to do with it? It was probably still hoping to see its trainer, and not some stranger. Gritting his teeth, he took the stuff he was looking for and the PokeBall and left the building.
Fabian was sitting on the bench, in front of the building, with his Gogoat. He was checking his phone, and Vale just sat down by his side. He flinched, surprised. "Oh, you are back quite soon."
"Yeah. I got the papers I needed, but I also got.. this from my old acquaintance." he showed him the PokeBall. "He said someone just left the Pokemon in the Day Care and didn't came back for it.. ever. But I don't know what to do with it either."
His brother stared at the PokeBall for a hot second, before raising his gaze at him. "Seriously?"
"Do I look like I'm joking?" he groaned and narrowed his eyes.
"That's not what I meant. How could he be sure if someone actually left it, and wouldn't come back?" Fabian shook his head and sighed. "I know how Day Care works. People sometimes leave Pokemons in there for years, for one reason or another. This might not be abandoned.. even if the state of the PokeBall says otherwise."
He pondered on it for a moment. He didn't understood why would anybody just leave their Pokemons in a Day Care for so long, but he wasn't going to argue with them. He certainly wouldn't. "So now what? Send it back?"
"I don't think so. I mean.. finders keepers?" Fabian shrugged, althought it didn't clear his worries. "What a Pokemon even is this?"
"I don't know.. give me a moment." he muttered back and then withdraw his PokeDex, to scan the PokeBall. Technically, it wasn't... his, and such he didn't know if it would work. Weirdly enough, it did. "It's.. uh, a Piplup. Isn't that a starter Pokemon?"
"I think so." his companion tilted his head. "Well, you won't be able to use it until you transfer it to a different PokeBall though."
"Oh, I know that. I went through this with Ophelia, my Swoobat." he muttered. Even if few weeks passed, he was still upset at that - she just needed a chance and some patience. "I'm worried the nurse in Lumiose will take it in wrong way, though."
"You won't know until you try." his brother patted his shoulder, and then got up. "Better move to the North Lumiose, then."
He grumbled something under his breath, but he put the PokeBall back in his handbag and then took his bike again. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

It was good that he had his hair tied in a solid braid, or else it will get in the way... a lot. This part of the city was so windy, it wasn't even funny. He could keep his hold on the Gogoat fine, due to her weight, but Fabian had quite a problem with the bike.
"Well, now we better move out swiftly. I do not want to get winded up again." Fabian groaned, fighting against the wind. It stopped for a moment, letting them move at a little more ease, but it was systematically picking up and loosening.
And the papers, hats and feathers flying all around weren't helping either. Nor were the wild Pokemons.
A sole, wild Wingull swooped at them, and his first instinct was to send out Tempest - but then he remembered that she had Flame Charge, which should work. But then, unexpectedly, a sudden whirlwind forced her out and forced him to send out another Pokemons - which by some unfortunate chance happened to be Nagi. The Calceta wiggled uncomfortably midair and moved her tail in surprise.
"Sorry Nagi, but I don't know what is happening either." he called to her, watching her anxiously - it wasn't a place for an aquatic Pokemon like her to be in. But she seemed to be just.. floating, like some other Water types (Milotic came to his mind). Maybe it was just the wind current, maybe her natural ability, who knows.
The Wingull looked at her confused but then attacked with Water Gun. Nagi made a weird, deep noise and retaliated with far bigger and stronger Brine, sending the bird Pokemon off flying (literally). After that, he healed her and put back in the PokeBall - he still wasn't sold on the idea of keeping her outside of the water, especially in place like this.
