Ostinato, Acesso, and Stretto had all been small little things when he had first encountered them, shorter than Cassio and small enough for him to hold. He had no idea that they would go through evolution, Ostinato two different times to get to the size that he was now, and hadn't been prepared to have such big creatures to care for and take charge of. Stretto was taller than Copper by at least a whole foot on his two legs, of course he was bad at judging height and distance, but he knew he had to look up to the dragon. His wings were massive, and he had a long tail to match, and Copper hadn't been prepared to have such a large flying creature around with him. One thing he knew that Stretto had in common with him was his hearing, he understood that the Noivern had very large ears that were capable of catching even the faintest, smallest sounds in the distance. He could appreciate something that he could relate to, and marveled the dragon's strength even in his smaller form as a Noibat, and knew him to be a good teammate. Unbeknownst to Copper, his coloring was much unlike most of his species, his scales vibrant and colorful, but there had been no point for him to see what Stretto looked like aside from his figure, so he was none the wiser.
Ace was also far bigger than Copper would have fathomed as just a small deer, his head had only just come up to Copper's hip before, but now Copper had to raise his hands almost shoulder's height to touch the top of his back. He had a much stronger frame and body structure now, with sturdy legs and an impressive set of large antlers, and he always carried himself very well walking on his hooves. He always had a good amount of energy about him, and participated very well in any battles that Copper might have found himself in, and he did really enjoy working with the deer over their time traveling together. There were so many things that Copper had been unsure about in starting on his journey, but one thing he knew for sure was that he wanted to be able to befriend his Pokemon and get along with them, maybe not on a level that he and Cassio worked together because of how the dog was trained, but in the kind of relationship that a trainer has with their battling partner.
Ostinato was the most unexpected team member that Copper had found himself in company with, much like Abban whom was one of the very first Pokemon he had encountered in running away from his home. Ostinato had been given to him by the professor, and he couldn't have known that the water type was going to get so big, but he also couldn't have known that he was going to become such an important part of his life. Ostinato was the key to him being able to leave his home that morning he had run away, the reason why he had left in the first place, to follow in the footsteps of other trainers around him, the lifestyle he had been sheltered away from. Ostinato had never been just a Pokemon to him, not just a tool, but a sign in his life that he was capable of more than his parents or even he himself could have ever thought. Cassio was raised and trained for him, but he has trained Ostinato himself in everything that the Samurott was capable of, and Copper could always say that he was proud of the otter for everything that he accomplished. Ostinato also held a special place in Copper's life because the water type is the only Pokemon that Copper has ever truly seen before, color and all. The image of Ostinato's bloody and ultimately dead figure would forever haunt his memories, but the fact remained that he had, for that brief second in time, seen what Ostinato actually looked like, the color of his fur, the texture of the shell on his head, and that would be something that Copper would never be able to get over.
"Who's the human," Stretto inquired, yawning again through his fangs as he glanced at Matthew whom was approaching Ostinato, having not been made aware of Copper's new traveling circumstances.
"I'm not sure? I recall the human female, but he doesn't look familiar," Ace returned, knowing that Copper was last traveling with a female that always smelled of sweet syrup as though she had drawn the sweetest nectar from a flower.
"Where did we end up too? I don't think we're in that other region any more," the dragon snuffed, his keen ears catching on to the surroundings and not hearing anything familiar to him. Ace too could tell the foliage around them, looking at the trees and the plants and knowing that they weren't in the same place they had been before, sniffing at the grass that he stood upon.
"There's a good reason we're here I guess," the deer shrugged, not too concerned about where they were or what they were doing then.
"We're in my home region," Calla answered, flitting through the air and coming towards the two familiar Pokemon, answering their wonderings about where they were.
"Yeah, and where's that," Stretto asked shortly, having not quite taken to the sprite either, much like some of Copper's other Pokemon, as he scratched behind one ear lazily with the shoulder of his wings.
"This is the Sinnoh Region," she chirped, her bright eyes gleaming at the thought of being home again.
Off on the side where Copper stood, Ostinato had moved forward to greet his trainer, finding comfort in seeing him in the mid afternoon of the day. He looked like he was doing better all things considered over the last few weeks, though he could tell there were still some circles under his eyes. Ostinato couldn't say that he felt all that better either, he had nightmares too, but for Copper's sake he was trying to be strong and make sure that they could move past everything together. The otter looked down at Copper and smiled with his fangs at the gentle pat that came upon his smooth fur, but he glanced to the side at the sound of movement coming towards him, finding a male that looked to be about Copper's age.
"Cassio, where's the other human," Ostinato asked, looking down to the Jolteon as he glanced towards the other male again.
"Gone. And hopefully for good this time, she left us to wait in some city in another region and never showed," Cassio leered, sitting now by Copper's side, the Zubat still clung to his vest beneath him.
"Oh... I take it he didn't take that very well," the otter huffed, knowing that against his better interest, Copper did find some fascination or other with the female that they had met before.
"No, so we ended up here, and this human found us and has been hounding us since. He's nicer though, and Copper is trying to work on social issues, so it hasn't been all bad," Cassio commented in return, though he couldn't say that he was any fonder of Matthew than he was Ridley, or anyone else that Copper met, but Ostinato knew that Copper had trouble communicating with other humans so this seemed to be good progress towards something he struggled with. Ostinato was looking down at Cassio as he stepped away from Copper's side, but he glanced at the sound of a small voice, a Chimchar that was clung to the other human's shoulder.
"Hey there, you're traveling with this human, aren't you," the Samurott greeted, turning his attention towards the small Chimchar with a smile, acknowledging the younger Pokemon.
"Uh, this is Ostinato, my Samurott that I got from the Professor in Unova," Copper mentioned, glancing back towards Matthew whom he found staring in Ostinato's direction.
"Ostinato, this is Matthew, I think he's going to be traveling with us for a bit," he commented, giving his Pokemon a bit of information on the human they found themselves in company with. |

After being parted with Copper, Lok still reminded in Jubilife city and went to a building we he's told to go by a letter from a team Galactic member. He found the building after seeing a yellow G on the buildings wall and it looks likes its been there for a while. Lok nods seeing the G he enters through the door and is automatically greeted with someone with green hair, sunglasses, and wearing a cover up outfit to hide her really identity, something that lok knows too well. She spoke to him cutting to the chase and not wasting time.
Undercover Grunt "Do you have the Letter and the Red R on you" She spoke
Lok took the letter and his team rocket badge and shows it to her, she then nods and lok puts them back in his pocket. she then spoke quick and fast.
Undercover Grunt "Good, now come with me. My boss is eager to see you"
Lok nods and followed the grunt through the building and towards a room, the grunt checked the area making sure no one followed them then she looked at Lok and nods her head to the door. Lok opens the door and walks inside the door to seeing a girl with light red orange hair, her uniform was a gray/white like dress. She looked at lok with her red ruby colored eyes and spoke.
Mars "so you're Lok from team rocket. Please have a seat we have much to talk about" She spoke in a satisfied voice

They hadn't heard Copper mention anything about the Sinnoh Region before, and couldn't recall any real importance, but Copper didn't seem to be in any kind of hurry to move on to somewhere else as they found another human male interacting with their trainer.
"When did we get here," Ace asked of the sprite, looking then to the Azelf whom was still chipper at the idea that they were in her home region, though what that meant really was rather foreign to him. She didn't seem as though she was an entity to have been born, so what did it mean that this was her home?
"Early this morning. Copper wanted to leave the Kalos Region so we flew here," she answered, glancing around with her bright eyes, still feeling invigorated at the thought of being in her own familiarity and being so close to home.
Standing off to the side with Matthew and Copper, Ostinato looked from the Chimchar that remained on the trainer's shoulder to the human whom had spoken to him. The Samurott thought for a moment at Matthew's question, his expression thoughtful and endearing as his large head turned and nudged at Copper beside him, his breath fanning through Copper's hair.
"Well, Ostinato has been with me since I got started with Professor Juniper in Unova, uhm... I don't remember how long ago," Copper replied, stumbling a bit on the amount of time that it had been since he had left. So much had happened between now and then it seemed, now that he had a moment to sit and think about it... It had been more than a few months, right? But not quite a year... He couldn't really recall...
"Cassio has been with me longer, but Ostinato feels like I've known him for years too, we've gotten really close," Copper spoke then, moving forward only a step to pat again against Ostinato's smooth blue fur.
"And over there, that's Stretto and Acesso, they've been traveling around with me for a good while too now," he mentioned, turning to find the familiar figures of the Noivern and the Sawsbuck just off to the side. |

They didn't really know what happened in Kalos that made Copper want to leave, but anything had to be better than sticking around and waiting for the next catastrophe to strike. They were both still sore and bitter about the events that had happened as well within that ball they had been invited to, and were not looking for a repeat of any kind.
"The Sinnoh Region is nice though, there are lots of things here that the humans do," Calla tried to reassure, having been all over the region and spending time in each of the wonders that it had to offer. She glanced though at the sound of movement coming towards them, and it seemed that from where Copper stood with Cassio and Ostinato, the human Matthew was moving towards her and Ace and Stretto. The two Pokemon took another glance at each other before standing up straighter, unsure of where the interaction was going, but soon the human smiled and offered his name in greeting. Ace was the first to offer any kind of formality with a stomp of one of his front hooves and then a nod of his head, the dense thicket of leaves on his antlers rustling with his movement. Ret didn't seem as inclined, looking down to the human with an odd and confused expression since he had just seemed to walk up out of no where and expected them to say something back, but the Noivern offered a wave of a wing, feeling weird about the sudden interaction with the human.
"Come on you guys, put on a smile, you at least know how to do that right," Ostinato poked fun as he padded along the grass towards his teammates, coming up beside Matthew and the Chimchar that rested on his shoulder.
"You're a young thing, you must be new in your traveling aren't you," Ace remarked, looking to the fire type that had spoken to them.
"So, um... What do you want to do Matthew," Copper asked a bit awkwardly as he came up from their previous spot, walking with Cassio beside him. His pale eyes looked around him, seeing only so far since the area was so open, but he could hear plenty. He didn't want to just stand there in the park doing nothing, but he wasn't very good at suggesting things to do since he didn't typically do things normal people would.
"There's plenty of Pokemon in the area, I guess if you wanted to train? You're doing the whole gym badge thing, right," he asked, unsure if Matthew was setting out in his travels to gain gym badges like he had, or if there was something else he was looking to do. |

Lok sat on the chair near Mars and looked at her trying to figure her out, he also wanted to know why of would she and her organization of team galactic want to do with him. he didn't understand but at the same time Intrigued by her invitation. meanwhile Mars had a smile on her face as if shes happy that lok came to see her now she wanted to know if he'll join her cause is the question. She spoke in a calm yet interested voice.
Mar" First of all i wanna thank you for coming all this way to see me, i am Mars one of team Galactic's admins along with 2 others but you'll meet them soon enough. so do you have any questions for me so far?"
Lok "Just one for now, and the question is why do you want me to join your organization, after all i'm a retired Team Rocket member now that Giovanni disappeared. So why the trouble to have me come here Ms mars?" He asked her getting to the point

You see we have Team galactic members spies almost everywhere, Even though Cyrus hasn't been around for a while we too are looking for him. She said trying to open his mind with her words
Lok thought back on it and admitted to himself he did have fun being in those teams, catching strong pokemon, feeling like he belonged in something. He looked at his badge with the Red R on it missing those days on being a member. Also remember that one day when someone held out their hand when he needed someone the most when his mother passed away. Just then mars extended her hand towards lok and spoke with gentle words.
Mars "Will you please join use? Lok?" She said with her hand held out to him
Lok looked at the hand then grabbed the hand and nods happy to join the evil team once again, Lok ready to go back in action once again. Mars become thrilled to learn that he wanted to join her on this quest, She then had a team galactic member come with a badge and a poke ball next to it. She gave the badge and the ball to lok and spoke.
Mar "Glad to have you on the team lok, here is your badge and a gift from me to you. i figured you left your prized Gyarados back at home so im giving you a Milotic, its like a gyarados but more elegant but still very strong but i bet you'll find a gyarados around these parts or you could call yours back here any time. Now then hears your first Task is go to Eterna City and try to see if you can become friends with the gym leader there, we hear you might become a gym leader on day so why not try and start there, i hear the gym leader there is very easy going and might give you a chance that is if you defeat her that is. Plus one of our base of operations is up there so you'll be able to go there and get your next mission from the other admin Jupiter, there she'll give you the next mission and your uniform and don't worry its a jacket cause we know you love jackets" She chuckled about it "Now go and make sure no knows about our meeting understood?" She said about to close the meeting
Lok nods understanding his objective of what he must do to prove himself to this cause, and now he has a third pokemon in his teams should be a little easier. Although lok was amazed that mars knows so much about it was a little creepy to him. He got up from his seat bows and left the room as Mars smirks knowing she had recruited a member with high potential.

Matthew responded, smiling at Copper before turning to Chimchar and rubbing his head, getting him to smile brightly. He then started to look around the area for any wild Pokemon that he and his Pokemon could take on to get stronger. "Hmmm... About an hour of training, and then we can head out if you'd like, Copper." he then said, looking to Copper to see what he wanted to do. To that, Chimchar nodded and said, "Chimchar Chim, Chimchar Chimchar." In basic translation, he added onto Matthew's statement by saying that if Copper feels like Matthew would be wasting his time by being at the park, they could always head out after a little bit in order to break up the monotomy. |

Ace could tell that the Chimchar was young, but it didn't seem to respond to his question of traveling with this human trainer, but inference gave him the information that he needed.
"Training? What are we going to do in a place like this? All I hear is Pidgey and Bidoof," Stretto huffed, his keen ears listening to the small Pokemon in the area much like Copper was, and he didn't hear anything that particularly sounded like a challenge.
"I don't think he meant for us, I think he meant for the human here," Ace quiried, glancing to Matthew again at the mention of training.
"The training is when you battle with an opponent, like in those places in the Kalos Region, right," Calla asked, looking to the few larger Pokemon that were around, having followed Copper into the first gym in the Kalos region where he battled with Viola.
"The Sinnoh League, right, there's one in every region," Copper nodded along with Matthew's few words, knowing he had a few badges from the Unova League and other various regions that he had abruptly landed in, but he couldn't help but feel like lately gym badges had kind of lost their appeal for him, he didn't really know what he was doing it for any more.
"What then though? You get the eight badges, and then are you planning on moving to another region to do it all over again," Copper asked, wondering what the general path was for someone in his shoes, or in Matthew's shoes. Matthew had to have a better grasp on things as far as the normal customs for a trainer went, for Copper didn't even know about the elite four and that there was a champion's title for anyone that could defeat them. |

"Well, I haven't thought that far ahead yet. After I get all eight badges and take on the Sinnoh League, I'll see what results from this journey before making a decision about where to go next." Matthew replied, giving the matter a little bit of thought. As he was thinking, he started to envision some new paths for himself for after everything was said and done and he had either won or lost the Sinnoh League. Where he would go, and what he would do next, for the most part, would be left up to a matter of chance.
After a little while of thinking, Matthew looked to Chimchar and said to him, "I'll spend the most time training you and Kricketot, Chimchar. You two would probably need more experience anyways since this first gym, I'm sure, will probably be pretty tough for you two." Chimchar listened to what Matthew had to say and nodded his head, then happily saying, "Chimchar~" as a sign that he would be okay with this sort of thing. And it wouldn't be long for the two as they would hear something rustling nearby and turned to see what it was. As soon as Matthew saw something coming out of a small bush, his eyes lighted up and he said excitedly, "Alright. Let's get things started, shall we?"

Coming out of the bush was a lone Shinx, who had spotted both Matthew and Chimchar and was looking to start a fight with them. "Shinx Shinx Shinx Shinx, Shinx Shinx!" it declared, basically telling them to fight or run away. The confident tone in the Shinx's voice suggested that it was strong, strong enough to knock out one of Matthew's Pokemon.
Meanwhile, Matthew looked to Chimchar, smiling as he said to him, "Well, I guess this Shinx wants to fight. Are you up for it, Chimchar?" In response, Chimchar nodded and added in, "Chimchar Chim!", getting extremely pumped up for the fight as he hopped off of Matthew's shoulder and went to face the wild Pokemon. Matthew saw this determination in Chimchar and said, "Alright then. Let's start things off with a Scratch attack." Chimchar immediately hopped into action and charged at the wild Shinx, then scratching at it and knocking it back a bit.
The Shinx would of course get up and retaliate as it charged at Chimchar, then using Tackle on him and pushing him back. Chimchar slid for a bit before stopping as he then looked to the Shinx, grinning and saying to Matthew, "Chimchar Chim?", wondering what move Matthew would use next. "Alright, Chimchar! Ember, now!" Matthew then exclaimed, getting pumped up during the fight. "Chim." Chimchar then said as he then drew in a breath and exhaled small bursts of embers toward the Shinx.
The Shinx saw the bursts of Ember coming and tried to hop out of the way, but it wasn't fast enough to dodge the attack, and shortly after the attack hit it, it fell to the ground, fainting. Both Matthew and Chimchar saw this and smiled, then cheering in victory. "That was totally awesome, Chimchar!" Matthew cheered on as he then went over to Chimchar and petted his head, causing Chimchar to smile widely. "Char~" he then said, thanking Matthew as he then hopped back onto his shoulder and nuzzled his trainer happily.

He knew what it was like, first starting out, trying to figure out these gym badges and league challenges and making sure that his Pokemon were ready to take it. Training was important, but even more so, so was the concept of getting to know one's Pokemon and understanding how to work with them, not just as a team, but as partners.
"Good luck Matthew, I'm sure you'll get some good training in," Copper called out as the male had run off just down the way with his Chimchar, leaving Copper with his own Pokemon in that moment. He thought solemnly to himself, still so unsure of a lot of things and what it was he was wanting to do, but he wanted to change his pace, if only a little for now, to kind of start taking stock again on the things he had going for him.
"Calla, take these to the Pokemon Center? They have those devices that make it safe to keep your Pokemon with the professor, so I'd like them to go with the professor for now," Copper requested of the sprite that flitted through the air. Her round eyes widened at Copper talking to her so directly, but she was all too happy to help as Copper handed her a small bundle of Pokeballs.
"I will, I'll be right back," she smiled, her voice ever chipper and happy as she took the pokeballs into her small hands. Copper by now was no stranger to the ways of these psychic type Pokemon, such as Calla, and knew that she would be there and back in a flash of her powers and capabilities.
"We could always go along with Matthew for a little bit and see about this Sinnoh League? We have badges from Kanto, Unova, and Kalos now, why not go for another region," Copper spoke aloud, not to anyone in particular but his Pokemon around him, though he was more trying to talk himself into taking some sort of action and not just moping around waiting for something to happen. |

Finally the meal was ready to go. He packed it up and left the Center with Umbreon and Espeon at either side. He walked out to a park he had seen when they'd landed with the intent of enjoying a nice picnic. There were a number of people spaced out through the park both training and enjoying the beauty it presented. Julian set down his bag and let out all of his Pokemon so they could enjoy the picnic he'd had prepared for them. He kept Pidgeot and Zekrom in their Pokeballs - it wouldn't do to have such large and powerful Pokemon intimidating the locals of this Region he did not know. Then there was Mantine who was not suited for a park. Perhaps at some point they would find a fountain or something.
He watched a kid run off with a Chimchar on his shoulder and then unrolled the blanket he used to sleep on when out in the wilds of a Region. The young Pokemon all went about playing with one another and having fun. It was the first time in a while they did not have to worry about fighting - unless they wanted to, that was. Some of them did, others just wanted to be out and enjoy themselves. Of all of the Pokemon that might have split away from the group and opted to explore the park, it was the curious young Torkoal who went to explore alone. It would be this Pokemon who's footsteps approached the blind Copper. He didn't run away from home for nothing, he didn't spend all that time preparing for that one moment with Cassio to change his life, only to mope around and aimlessly meander with no real goals. He liked being out and being a trainer, it was all he had ever wanted from the very moment he was given Cassio, but the repition of it all, the sameness of it was kind of weighing down on him. It was either that, or the fact that there was still only so much that he knew about the world around him having been hidden from it so avidly for so long, and he knew that he could really only take himself so far. It would take him years to catch up on and learn everything that an average trainer did, they got to experience things at a much younger age that he was experiencing and learning only now at a much older age. And there were still so many things and concepts and ideas that he could hardly wrap his mind around, that honestly in some recesses of his mind, the idea of Pokemon training and continuing to travel scared him on some level. He had no idea that sentient ghosts exisisted and had many murderous and heinous capabilities, didn't know that there were Pokemon like Bravur that could talk and psychic type Pokemon like Abban that could tap into his very mind and make him almost thankful that he couldn't truly see anything... There shouldn't be things capable of 'teleporting' and moving things with just their minds, and there should certainly be nothing capable of effecting the willingness of an individual on a degree that made them question the very decision that changed their life forever...
"So... What are we going to do here? If we're not training, and not going somewhere, what are we going to do," Stretto asked after a moment, looking around to his few teammates as he rested forward on the shoulders of his wings.
"How about we don't worry about that for right now," Ostinato answered after a moment, glancing to the Noivern as he looked at Copper for a moment before, being able to see his lost expression.
"We've all been through a lot lately, there's still a lot all of us are still trying to figure out? Maybe we just need to forget about things for a while and just be thankful for the time that we have," the otter continued, the experiences that he went through those weeks ago still very fresh in his mind, the nightmares still vivid and he could swear he still felt phantom pains along his fur where those gashes and tears had been made...
"We still don't even know where Abban is, he's been missing for weeks now. We should maybe start putting our heads together on how to find him and bring him back," Ace mentioned, knowing that they had all experienced a lot that night on that island, and they all needed time to rebuild and really start working past what had happened and regroup.
Off to the side, where Cassio stood with Copper, Calla appeared from having brought Copper's Pokeballs to the Pokemon Center for safe keeping, now lofting in the air beside Copper's head. She smiled to herself and bobbed along to some silent tune, happy that Copper was starting to warm up to her, but she looked down at the ground at the sound of something coming towards them just as Copper did with his keen hearing. He'd heard something in particular treading along the grass in short, stalky foot steps, but only then realized that it was moving towards him as he looked down towards the ground as well. It was a round shape, short and low to the ground with four broad legs and a head, maybe, that stuck up a bit further from the main body form. He couldn't recall the shape of the Pokemon at all, having never seen anything like it, but he could smell ash on it as soon as it approached, and he wondered if it were maybe a fire type. Cassio eyed the tortoise that had moved towards them, but otherwise it did nothing apart from standing there and perhaps looking a little lost.
"What are you doing around here? Do you belong to someone," Copper questioned, thinking it rather odd for a strange Pokemon like this to be in such an urbanized area. So far all he could hear were birds in the trees and rodents in the grass, and something occassionally splashing around in something that was maybe a pond or otherwise, but this didn't exactly seem like the place for a fire type to be wandering around unattended to. |

Torkoal looked up at the Trainer he had just approached. There were a few things that had interested him about this Trainer. Torkoal was a rather curious little tortoise and there were Pokemon here it had never seen before! Plus, in a way, the Trainer here sort of looked like his own Trainer. "My Trainer is over there." Torkoal gestured in the direction Julian was sitting with the rest of his Pokemon. Currently he was busying himself by silently trying to break up a fight between Koffing and Kabuto. For whatever reason Koffing just loved to irritate the others but didn't seem to like it when they retaliated - and let's face it, when you suddenly have a Kabuto clinging to your face and sapping your strength, you tend to realize your idea as a bad one.
"Who are you?" Torkoal asked, unsure whether or not the guy could understand him. Most Humans could not understand their universal language but that was okay. Many Trainers loved their Pokemon all the same. He looked at each one of the Trainer's Pokemon who were currently out and in his line of sight. Many of them were big and strong, he could tell, so he would forgo the idea of looking for a battle. Battles were often good ways for Pokemon to get to know one another and become even better friends. It worked that way for Trainers too, but all of Julian's really strong Pokemon were stored away in the Pokemon Center (Torkoal didn't understand how that worked, he just knew that when he wasn't with Julian he was with Robert).

Meanwhile, Matthew and Chimchar were continuing to explore the park, looking for some more Pokemon to fight in order to train for the first gym battle. A short while of searching around later, the two heard the cry of another Pokemon incoming. They then turned, wondering where the sound was coming from as they then looked to see a Zubat approaching them. "Chimchar!" Chimchar then exclaimed as he hopped off of Matthew's shoulder, basically giving a sign to Matthew to watch out for the incoming Zubat. Immediately afterwards, the trainer ducked his head down so that the Zubat wouldn't hit him, flying past him. He then turned and looked to see the Zubat flying away a bit before starting to turn around and said to Chimchar, "Alright, Chimchar. Let's deal with this ambushing Zubat. Use Scratch!"
"Chimchar!" Chimchar then replied, hopping in and heading towards the Zubat, ready for some good fighting. The Pokemon then jumped up and scratched at the Zubat, knocking it down and causing it to faint moments later. Seeing this, this left both Matthew and Chimchar scratching their heads. "Uhhh... Is that all? I could have sworn that that Zubat was pretty tough." Matthew then spoke up moments later.
"Chimchar. Chimchar Chim Chim Chimchar Char." Chimchar then replied, basically stating that he was thinking the same thing about the Zubat.
"Aw well. I guess sometimes, Pokemon try to act tough even when they're weak." Matthew then shrugged as he went over to Chimchar and knelt down, rubbing his head before saying, "You know, with all of this training, you must be feeling a bit tired by now. Why don't you get some rest for a while? Besides, I need to train Kricketot as well just in case I ever need her in a battle."
"Chim. Chimchar Chim." Chimchar then said, smiling a bit and going over to Matthew, then climbing on top of his backpack and starting to rest up, his front paws wrapping around his trainer's neck. Matthew then smiled and got up before reaching for Kricketot's Pokeball and letting her out. As Kricketot came out, she smiled and gave Matthew a nice hello, saying, "Kricketot~"
"Hi, Kricketot. How would you like some training time?" Matthew replied, smiling and petting his bug-type Pokemon. Kricketot then replied happily with, "Kricketot! Kricketot!", basically making it clear that Matthew that this is going to be exciting for her to get some training in. He then chuckled and gave a nod to her, then starting to walk around with her, looking for some more Pokemon to fight.

As Matthew continued walking around with Kricketot, the two then stumbled upon an Abra that was lying down near a tree. As the Abra looked to see the two, it got up and said slowly, "Abra...", challenging them to a fight that it was planning to troll them on. (Knowing Abras, they usually teleport away from battles, so this Abra was planning to make this a waste of Matthew's time.) Matthew then looked to Kricketot, saying to her, "Alright, Kricketot. This is gonna be your first battle. Ready?"
"Kricke." Kricketot replied, looking forward to the opportunity to fight as she then walked over to the Abra, standing face to face near it.
"Alright then. Kricketot, use Struggle Bug!" Matthew then said, a bold look of confidence on his face. Immediately, Kricketot ran over to the Abra and used Struggle Bug on it, surprising it and landing a good hit on it in order to make it faint. "Abra Ab..." the Abra said while fainting, stating that it thought it could teleport out of the area in time.
Seeing the Abra faint, Kricketot then seemed elated, happily crying out, "Kricketot! Kricketot! Kricke Kricketot!", elated that she had won her first battle against a wild Pokemon. Matthew then chuckled as he went over to the excited bug-type Pokemon and patted her head, then saying to her, "Great job, Kricketot. How do you feel?"
"Kricketot Kricke. Tot Kricke Kricketot Tot." Kricketot then happily replied, nuzzling Matthew's hand and stating that she felt like she was ready for greater challenges along the road. Chimchar then hopped down from Matthew's back, going over to the victorious Pokemon and saying to her, "Chimchar Chim. Chim Chim Char Chimchar.", letting her know that she did really good in her battle and that she'll be ready for the first gym battle in no time, which elated her some more and made her hug him out of happiness. Chimchar smiled and hugged Kricketot back before the both of them were picked up by Matthew, who then said, "Don't worry, guys. I'm sure that with some more Pokemon battles, we'll be ready to take on the Oreburgh City gym in no time." |

They hardly had any idea of where he went, only that he was looking to get a grip on the psychic power he’d been given upon his evolution, but past that, he made no mention. He hadn’t even told Copper that he was leaving or why, and they knew that on some level Copper must feel that the fox had abandoned him. The older teen was already struggling every day with what it was to be a trainer and trying to do the best that he could for himself and his Pokemon, and the very thought that one of his Pokemon would leave him, out of either spite or disinterest, or maybe even dejection would be detrimental to his whole demeanor.
”You don’t think he actually left left, right,” Stretto asked then out loud, bringing out the one thought that none of them wanted to cross, but had possibly already considered. Ostinato looked at the dragon rather sharply though, hoping that Calla or Bravur didn’t over hear and give Copper any indication of what they were talking about.
”Don’t say something like that. He doesn’t have the best attitude all the time, but Abban wouldn’t just leave, I know he has more dignity than that,” the water type chided, but he wasn’t sure himself if he was saying that for the sake of his friend that he had been raised and trained with for as long as Copper had been traveling, or if he was just trying to lessen and delude himself from the brunt impact that the possibility could have on both him and Copper. He wanted to believe that the Delphox cared, that he enjoyed their time together and wanted to be a part of the same team as they traveled together. They got along so well when they were smaller and then into their second stages together, and even before they had been whisked away to that island of nightmares when they had both evolved, Ostinato thought that everything was going so well…
”What are we supposed to do though? It’s not as though one of us can just leave to go look for him, that would only distress Copper more, and Abban could be anywhere in the world,” Ace spoke then, trying to determine the best course of action they were supposed to take, especially since none of them had any supernatural powers like the psychic Abban did.
”I don’t know, I was hoping he would have been back by now, but things could have changed, or something could have happened to him… I’ll try to start thinking of what we can do, but in the mean time we just have to put on a good face for Copper, and maybe he’ll start traveling around again and we might be able to figure something out,” the otter mentioned, trying to come up with the best level headed decision for now before they jumped into anything drastic.
Having since been in the park by themselves as Matthew had gone off to train his Pokemon, Copper being able to hear his calls to his Pokemon in the near distance, he stood with Calla flitting in the air around him and Cassio on his leash and harness beside him on the ground, but he now looked down at a peculiar shaped Pokemon that had approached them. He couldn’t fathom why really it would just wander up to him, he always considered himself to be rather unassuming, but it was here now, and he was kind of at a loss of what to do with it. Paying attention to his surroundings in the only ways that he could, through hearing and smell, he couldn’t recall any wild fire type Pokemon roaming around the city or the park as he had been walking around with Matthew, he’d be able to smell the ash and smoke on them from quite a distance. And he hadn’t heard any fire crackling or strange calls, only familiar things like the chirping of birds or the chittering of rodents. It had to belong to someone, or it was really very lost. At Copper’s words though, the round shaped Pokemon made a sound, something like a grunt or other, and Calla took that as her cue to step in since Copper didn’t recognize that the Pokemon was trying to communicate, only watching it make some gesture or something of the like in another direction.
”Oh you are with a trainer? That’s good to hear, I was afraid you were lost,” Calla spoke then, her voice gentle and chipper as she came down closer towards the Pokemon she could recognize as a Torkoal.
”He said his trainer is over there, I think that younger human boy with those Pokemon,” Calla commented to Copper, pointing in the same direction the fire type had, but Copper glanced in that direction and could only see so far with the open surroundings, he could see the ground and the fuzzy frame of some trees the farther he looked, but it was just too quiet out in the open like this, there wasn’t enough concentrated noise for him to see very far.
”What is he doing over here then,” Copper asked, not particularly bothered by the fire type’s presence, though the presence left Cassio with little to be desired as the Jolteon looked down to the fire type as he sat beside Copper.
”Shouldn’t you go back to your trainer,” the electric type asked, though it seemed the Torkoal paid little mind to what it was he had to say as he looked on to Copper’s other Pokemon, gaining their attention as they moved a bit closer towards their trainer.
”Oh! I’m Callorey, but you can call me Calla,” Calla offered at the fire type’s question, a smile on her face and cheeriness in her voice.
”This is Copper, my human, and that’s Cassio his best friend,” the sprite continued, though she earned a sigh from Copper as she referred to him as her human.
”I’m not your human. Stop calling me that,” he interjected, but Calla either ignored him for sake of being nice to the younger Pokemon that was around, or she felt that Copper didn’t really mean what he’d said.
”That’s some of our friends, Ostinato, Acesso, and Stretto, we’re all traveling together,” the Azelf introduced, pointing to the Samurott, Sawsbuck, and Noivern respectively.
”What’s your trainers name? That’s him over there,” Calla asked then, pointing to the younger male human with the few Pokemon that she could see off to the side, wondering if that was where he had come from. |

About a few seconds later, a wild Kricketot appeared and looked to Matthew, then challenging him by saying, "Kricketot Kri." Matthew, Chimchar, and Kricketot looked to see the wild Pokemon and noticed its challenge, with Kricketot then turning to Matthew and saying to him, "Kricketot Kricke.", saying that she would like to fight this wild Pokemon herself.
"Well, alright then, Kricketot. If you're that eager to battle some more, then go right ahead." Matthew then replied, smiling at his Kricketot, who then hopped down onto the ground and faced the wild Pokemon, ready for battle. "Kricketot Tot." she then said to Matthew, looking for a command in order to start. As Matthew and Chimchar looked to see her determination, they then smiled brightly, with Matthew then saying, "Okay then, Kricketot. Let's start off this battle with a Struggle Bug." Kricketot then hopped right in, using Struggle Bug on the wild Kricketot, knocking it back a bit. The Pokemon then got right back up and started to use Bide, hoping that it could endure enough damage in order to retaliate with double the damage later on during the fight. However, that wouldn't be the case as Matthew then said, "Okay, Kricketot. Let's finish things off with another Struggle Bug!" His Pokemon then rushed towards the wild Pokemon, using Struggle Bug again in order to knock it out. After seeing it faint, Kricketot then cheered excitedly, saying, "Kricketot! Kricke Kricketot!" She jumped for joy, excited to win another battle, which caused Matthew to chuckle and comment with, "Man... You're certainly excited today, huh?"
"Kricke. Kricketot Kricketot Tot Tot Kri." Kricketot then replied, feeling more confident in herself, like she was just about ready to take on anything the world could dish out. |

As a little bit more time passed on by, Matthew and his Pokemon then started to relax for a while, which would allow him to start to tend to some of the wounds that Chimchar received during his battles against wild Pokemon. As he pulled out a potion, he then looked to Chimchar and said to him, "Alright. Let's get you all healed up, Chimchar."
Chimchar then nodded and replied with, "Chimchar." as he then hopped onto the ground and let Matthew sit down on the grass before he went over to his trainer, ready to get healed up. Matthew then smiled and lightly grabbed Chimchar's paw before starting to spray him with the potion. As Kricketot was watching this, she couldn't help but feel rather amazed that her trainer had a potion on him in order to treat any injury sustained in battle. She then wadded over to him and nudged his leg, then asking him, "Kricketot Kri Kricketot?", wondering when it was going to be her turn to have a go with the bottle of potion spray. Hearing this, Matthew then chuckled and rubbed Kricketot's head, then saying to her, "Don't you fret, Kricketot. You're all good and fine. I don't see a scratch anywhere on you."
All of a sudden, a rustling was heard nearby, which seemed to alarm the three as they then looked around, wondering where the noise was coming from. "Chimchar Chim." Chimchar said, his eyes narrowing a bit as he was daring the Pokemon to come out wherever it may have been hiding.
"Take it easy there, Chimchar. We're not sure what we're going to be up against yet." Matthew then said, trying to calm the Chimchar down a bit as he then looked on forward to see that the rustling was coming from a tall patch of grass just nearby. As he then got ready, a bulb appeared, followed by a green body that seemed to be panting a bit. As the Pokemon came out, it started to pant, "Bulba... Bulbasaur..." Some sweat was on the Pokemon's forehead as it then looked to see Matthew, Chimchar, and Kricketot. Meanwhile, Matthew noticed the Bulbasaur and smiled, then saying, "Alright. I wonder what the Pokedex is going to say about this one." He then pulled his Pokedex out and pointed it in the direction of the Bulbasaur, leading to a scan and the following Pokedex entry:
"Bulbasaur, the seed Pokemon. Bulbasaurs can usually be seen napping in bright sunlight, which the seeds on their backs can absorb in order to grow larger. These Pokemon can also feed off of the nutrients provided by the seeds."Matthew then looked at the Bulbasaur, absolutely amazed and saying, "Whoa... That sounds really amazing, being able to gain nutrients from their own seeds." He then seemed a bit confused, thinking to himself, "But what would it be doing here in this park?" The Bulbasaur then started to speak up, saying, "Bulba Bulbasaur Saur Saur. Bulba Bulbasaur Bulba Bulbasaur Saur Bulba Bulba Bulbasaur." The Pokemon then pointed the trio in the direction of a nearby berry bush. It seemed like it was asking for some help acquiring some berries to heal itself up from a fight it took part of earlier on. "You want us to get you some berries, Bulbasaur?" Matthew then asked, unsure if that was what Bulbasaur was really saying. However, his question would be answered with a nod from the Pokemon as it then started to walk on over to the berry bush. "Kricketot Kri." Kricketot then called out as she started to follow closely behind, causing Chimchar to follow suit and, in turn, causing Matthew to follow the group as well.
Once the four were at the berry bush, they took a close look at the berries, seeing that they were blue and round, almost like giant blueberries. Matthew then bent his legs down so he could get close to the Bulbasaur and asked, "How did you try to get the berries before?" Bulbasaur then decided to show Matthew by turning to the bush and growling at it, hoping that some of the Oran berries would fall off of it. But, it seemed like the Pokemon's growl had no effect, causing it to sink its head a bit. Matthew noticed this and looked to the Bulbasaur, then rubbing its head and saying to it, "Awww... Don't worry, little Bulbasaur. I'll get the berries for you.", causing the Pokemon to raise its head a bit, tilting its head at Matthew, wondering what he had in mind. Matthew then headed over to the Oran berry bush and reached a hand inside, then grabbing a couple of berries and handing them over to the Bulbasaur, who immediately got excited and thankfully said, "Bulbasaur! Bulba Bulbasaur!" It then swiped the berries out of Matthew's hands and started to eat them, causing Matthew to chuckle and say, "Not a problem at all, Bulbasaur."
As Chimchar and Kricketot saw the Bulbasaur eating the berries, they then looked at one another, exchanging some glances before looking to Bulbasaur, and then back to Matthew, telling him in their respective cries that they'd like him to have the Bulbasaur tag along with them for the journey. "Huh? You want the Bulbasaur to come with us? But... it's ultimately up to the Bulbasaur, isn't it?" Matthew then asked, causing the Bulbasaur to look up and reply with, "Bulba Bulbasaur, Saur." It seemed like the Grass and Poison-type Pokemon was showing a bit of interest in coming along with Matthew and his team, which surprised everyone. "Well, okay then. If that's what you want, Bulbasaur." Matthew then said after a short bit, pulling out his Pokeball and moving it in front of the Pokemon. The Bulbasaur wasted little time then, tapping the Pokeball before being sucked into it. As it went in, it said, "Bulba Bulbasaur.", basically saying that it was the least it could do to repay Matthew for his help. As soon as the ball closed, it then wiggled a bit, the red light active in the center before the shaking stopped and the light grew dim. There was then a 'ding' sound, signaling that the Bulbasaur was now caught. This made Chimchar and Kricketot really happy as they then went over to the Pokeball and cheered, making Matthew chuckle as he then picked up the Pokeball and said to them, "Okay, you two. You now have a new friend on the team."
Chimchar then looked excitedly at Matthew and pointed to the Oran berry bush, then saying, "Chimchar Chimchar Chim Chim Char.", telling Matthew that he should consider taking some Oran berries for the road in case any Pokemon on his team needed them later on. Matthew then turned back to the Oran berry bush and looked at the Oran berries before eyeing Chimchar again and saying, "Alright then, Chimchar. You're the boss." He then laughed a bit as he picked out five Oran berries and put them in the berry pouch of his backpack before looking back at his Fire-type Pokemon and his Bug-type Pokemon and saying to them, "Now, let's head back to Cooper, shall we? He's probably getting worried about us by now." Chimchar then nodded and hopped onto Matthew's shoulder before looking back at Kricketot and saying, "Chimchar, Chimchar Chim.", telling her to hop on as well. Hearing this, Kricketot then happily wadded over to Matthew's shoulder and tried to jump up, unable to jump up to Matthew's shoulder height. This discouraged her a bit, but she kept trying, which led to Chimchar going over and reaching a paw out for Kricketot to grab onto on her next jump. As soon as she hopped up, she reached a paw out to Chimchar, who then grabbed on and pulled her up onto Matthew's shoulder. Once Matthew saw the two Pokemon on his shoulders, he then smiled and said, "Alright. Let's go." He then started to walk on back over to Cooper, wondering what he had been doing while he had trained both Chimchar and Kricketot. |

"It's nice to meet you all!" Torkoal said, smiling so warmly and genuinely that his eyes squinted. "That is my Trainer, but he can't hear." It was obvious this Pokemon was young and had yet to understand the fine line between rambling and giving away too much information. Some things just tend to slip out of an unfiltered mouth sometimes, though. He was trying to figure out why the Human was denying being that Pokemon's Human. If she was his Pokemon, then of course he was her Human! That's just how these things work! He ed his head to the side, lost in thought, confused and silent for a few moments.
Unable to hear the footsteps of his Pokemon walking away, Julian did not immediately realize that Torkoal was sneaking off. In fact, having to place himself between two of his fighting Pokemon, he didn't realize at all until he noticed Umbreon staring off into the distance. It was clear something had the Eeveelution's attention. He'd come to trust Umbreon (even more so than Espeon), so he looked in the same direction. Silent curses were lost on his mute tongue as he scrambled to his feet and hurried after his Fire-Type.
Now obviously he could not apologize verbally. On top of that, it was clear to him that the other male was blind. This was hardly the first blind person Julian had come across in his life, though it would make communicating difficult without a Psychic-Type Pokemon to help. He was familiar enough with them now to know that he could press his thoughts out with a simple message and they would be able to pick up on at least one part or the other - either his mind trying to communicate or on the words themselves. 'My name is Julian. If any of you are Psychic-Type Pokemon, please convey my apologies.
He glanced down at Torkoal. He'd intended to return his Pokemon right away, but he hadn't done anything wrong - not really. He wasn't going to punish him by taking away his play time. Torkoal seemed to understand though and walked over to stand closer to his Trainer. As Matthew headed back to Cooper, he gave a little wave to him before asking, "Hi, Cooper. Ready to head... out?" He was a bit hesitant on his last statement as he saw that Cooper was currently talking to another Pokemon trainer. Well, more like the Torkoal of the trainer, but still a new face regardless. He then looked to Cooper and walked a bit closer, saying to him, "I'm sorry. I didn't know you were busy at the moment..." He then gave another look to the new trainer and waved, then saying, "Hello there. I guess you guys were chatting things up before I came by." He then backed up a bit before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. "Sorry... This is just... I'm not too used to joining into conversations like this. Let me get into the situation a bit..." He then cleared his throat a bit and took a deep breath before saying, "Hi there." to the new trainer. As he was approaching, he said, "My name's Matthew. And I seriously hope I'm not walking in on anything important."
Seeing how his trainer was handling things, Chimchar then shook his head and put a paw to his face, feeling a bit embarrassed for him, but at the same time trying to keep himself from laughing at how silly Matthew was acting at the moment. Meanwhile, Kricketot was looking rather uncomfortable, then saying, "Kricketot Kricke Kricketot Kri.", basically apologizing to both trainers for how ridiculous this may be seeming at the moment. She then hopped down from her trainer's shoulder and went over to the new trainer's Torkoal, then introducing herself and Chimchar to it before looking up at Matthew, curious to see what kind of a response he might get. Her antennae were curled back a bit as she felt pretty nervous for him. |

He greeted back, and Calla smiled brightly at how warm and happy he was as he looked up to the other Pokemon that were out with them.
"Uh, yeah, hi I guess," Stretto answered a bit awkwardly, still unsure as to why the small turtle of a Pokemon had come over towards them in the first place, but there really wasn't any harm it in, only confusion really. The Torkoal confirmed that the human in question was in fact his trainer, but then said something that seemed both out of place and entirely unexpected, though rang a certain bell for the few Pokemon that heard him.
"Your human can't hear," Ostinato asked, trying to confirm what it was that the fire type had said, glancing at Copper then at just the mere mention of a human disability. He remembered the very first time he had met Copper, as just an Oshawott at the time, and Copper took such care in explaining that he wasn't like other humans and that he needed to do things differently in order to work together. He let Copper stroke his fur and feel his body in that moment so he could get a very generic idea of what he looked like, and Ostinato felt that he had been meant to go with Copper since then. He wore a bell when he was smaller, just like Cassio does on his collar, but he was sad when he grew too big for the collar and couldn't wear it any more. He knew though that for someone like Copper, it was good for him to meet people that shared something in common with him, something that not everyone else experienced in their life times.
"Oh, he can't? Um, I'm sure he's still very nice," Calla stuttered for a moment, having not been ready for the bit of information she'd been given. Someone who couldn't hear was much less conspicuous than someone who couldn't see like Copper. His pale eyes and Cassio with a working vest and harness and a leash gave him away, but someone who was deaf didn't have any physical notions of such.
"What is it talking about now," Copper asked then, and all of his Pokemon turned to look at him at his question.
"He said his human can't hear, he's deaf," Calla answered then, almost cautiously, but she knew that if anyone was going to treat the situation as well as it could possibly be taken, it was going to be Copper. The teen stopped for a moment at the sprites words, finding himself caught off guard for a moment, but before he could say anything further he caught the indefinite sound of foot steps moving towards them, and found an unfamiliar figure moving towards them through the haziness of the distance. Calla lifted up from the ground as the trainer neared them, glancing to Copper whom watched too with his pale eyes, but she caught something in the thoughts around her, hearing what must have been his voice.
"Oh, oh it's okay, it's okay Julian, he wasn't hurting anything," Calla understood then, hearing Julian's stray thoughts and his apology about his Pokemon. She didn't handle the small greeting as gracefully as she could have, but she never had interacted with someone who couldn't speak before, only still getting used to the concept that Copper couldn't see. Calla got herself rather confused on the matter though, forgetting that she was the only one that heard Julian as she looked back to Copper, who was staring at her with an expetant expression, wondering what she was going on about.
"Oh, right! I'm sorry, I've never had to do this before," she giggled, though a bit nervously since she didn't get the idea as soon as she should have, and she opened up her psychic powers between the two humans.
"What are you talking about," Copper asked, really unsure of what the psychic was going on about, actually he was never sure of what it was she was talking about because of his severe lack of understanding about psychic powers.
"He apologized for his Pokemon coming up to us, but you couldn't hear it because he can't talk, but I'm going to let you hear him now, you can both talk to each other," the sprite rambled, coming up closer to Copper through the air, happy and giddy with herself that she was going to be able to help. Copper was getting ready to speak though, he wasn't sure what he was going to say, or if Calla was even being serious about him being able to communicate with someone who was deaf, but Matthew came up back from his training it seemed, and started to trip over his words.
"No, it's okay Matthew, we only just met, you can stick around," Copper tried to say, unsure of why all of a sudden Matthew was acting so confused and timid, that was certainly not how he had come across up until now. Copper turned back to the boy named Julian though with his pale glossy eyes.
"Okay, um, I don't know if you can actually hear me, and sorry I don't know sign language, kind of never really worked out for me, but my name is Copper, and this is Matthew," Copper spoke then, rather skeptical of it all, but he didn't want to be rude about anything, and wanted to at least make some kind of effort in the exchange.
"Your Pokemon wasn't causing any trouble, it seemed really nice when Calla was talking with it," he tried to say then, rather awkwardly in really not knowing what to say, but that didn't make the situation any less impactful for him, it was always nice to meet others like himself who did have disabilities, struggles that others just didn't and couldn't understand. |

Don't you cry no more After relaxing a bit upon finding out his Torkoal hadn't been interrupting anything or causing any problems, Julian wanted to ask the Trainer questions about his experiences raising and battling Pokemon. He knew that his apology had been relayed to the blind Trainer, so he wouldn't waste time by apologizing again. Besides, knowing from experience, it got annoying when all people did was apologize to you or treat you like a fragile Exeggcute. He wasn't going to start the conversation off that way. "I'm Julian. It's a nice to meet you."
That was all he had time to say before a boy came running up with his Pokemon. Julian was able to read the boy's lips even as he stumbled over what he was saying to excuse himself. He didn't understand why the kid seemed so nervous, he wasn't an intimidating person by any means. Unless... maybe he was the one walking in on something.
Then the first guy - Copper - explained that he didn't know sign language. Julian wasn't surprised. Not many people took the time to learn it, and that wasn't the sort of skill that aided someone who was blind - deaf, or mute, sure. "Oh, that's fine. I find that having Psychic-Type Pokemon help a lot with communication." He left out that his own Psychic-Type Pokemon did not have that particular skill. If Espeon learned to do what Calla was helping them with, then she'd be able to start pulling her own weight around.

Matthew then took a deep breath and calmed down a bit, having heard from Copper that the conversation with Julian had just started up. He then approached the trainer and put out his hand, then saying, "It's quite a pleasure to meet you, Julian." He then looked down to his Torkoal and smiled, adding afterwards, "You too, Torkoal." Chimchar, once calming down from almost bursting into laughter, then said to the two, "Chimchar Chimchar Chim.", putting on a smile, letting the two know that he was glad to meet them as well as Matthew. Kricketot, seeing this from the two, then smiled and hopped back onto Matthew's shoulder, then adding in the same two cents that Chimchar had said.
A short while later, when Matthew was asked by Julian if he and Copper were leaving, he then started to sweat a bit, then saying, "Oh no no... Well, I mean, we could stay if you need somebody to talk to. Oreburgh City can wait until later on." He then looked down at Torkoal again as he then said, "Besides, I don't want to rush things along if you and Copper are just starting to have a conversation. Whatever you want to say, go on ahead." |
