On the western part of Akala Island, one of the bigger islands in the Alola Region, most travelers that come to the island are welcomed through what is known as the "Front Door" of Akala Island. Heahea City is the most popular, and most traveled port city on the island, mostly due to the ferry terminal that brings in those traveling trainers from Melemele Island to continue their island challenge. The ferry terminal also brings in all of the tourists who have come from Hau'oli City who are wanting to see the rest of the region, so Heahea City does see a lot of foot traffic. The city is smaller compared to other cities in the region, but makes up for it in charm and hospitality as the town's residents are proud to be considered such an important part of Akala island, and always want to make the best impression that they can on visitors. The Tide Song Hotel is famous for it's world class service and staff who make sure to provide the best experience that they can to their guests.

Lysander grew up being a part of one of the richest families in Alola. As he grew up, he was given what ever he wanted when ever he wanted, even in school and college. He was spoiled living in their mansion on the outside of the city, and he definitely acts like it. He spends his time vacationing and spending money. That's about it. He surrounds himself with other wealthy 20-somethings, and they often go out on their yachts, or travel the world just on a whim. When he was bored, he often entered beauty contests with the Pokemon that his father bought him. If he was beaten, he bought other Pokemon. Once he had the team he wanted, he kept them, and managed to take the position as contest leader. He often treats the opponents as beneath him, unless they might be a friend or look worth his time. He is a sore loser, and pretty much just a sore stuck up person in general. Most other Gym Leaders, and Contest leaders keep away from him because of how he acts, and he doesn't mind it at all.

Moving north the small bit towards the next city, skimming the coast line from Koni Koni, Emiri and her Pokemon continued on their quest to gather the stamps for the small booklet she had received. Emiri smiled fondly at remembering the first time she had done this, she even did still have her original booklet from those years ago, and enjoyed the memories that came with it. Already this time around was proving to be that much more enjoyable, getting to see places that she had never been to before. Alola was such a beautiful place, and Nimbus too was enjoying his time back in his native region.
Up the coast, Hea Hea City seemed to be more of a resort town, with clean buildings, ornate decorations and white stone walkways. It really was something, there was a huge huge building up in the distance on a hill, it looked like a giant hotel of sorts, and the beaches were clean and clear with picturesque waves lapping at the sand. Emiri’s Pokemon chose to stay behind, circling in the air while Charizard descended with Emiri and the baby, and she and the Chifaera made easy work of entering the Pokemon Center there. Nurse Joy and her Chansey were waiting and welcoming for the trainers they knew they would be expecting, and gave Emiri her stamp with a smile. There were a couple more stamps to gather on this island, and Emiri definitely wanted to keep going as she came back out to Charizard with the baby in tow.

And so the walking began. Elfana was sort of looking forward to it until she realized they would be passing through a cave after Heahea City. She hoped it was only a small path. Caves were a special kind of exhausting. The thought of the cave more or less ruined Heahea City for her until she found out that it was a tunnel dug out by Diglett and Dugtrio. The cave had her attention now. Observing the tunnels created by Pokemon could be genuinely fascinating. Much like the last few towns, she stopped in at the Pokemon Center and got her book stamped. Being excited to see a cave was a new feeling for her. She headed straight for Diglett's Tunnel after she was done in the Pokemon Center. Pantalaimon was in her arms again. She wasn't about to let the little Turtwig walk through a cave by himself. The tunnels were more reliable given that they were made by Diglett and Dugtrio but she didn't want to risk it. They had already had far too many terrible incidents in caves.

Heahea City looked like a paradise after getting through Paniola Town. Elfana wasn't even bothered by the fact that she had a couple hours to kill before her boat set out for Malie City. She used the extra time she had to stop for lunch. While her Pokemon ate, she worked on listing off the Pokemon she had remembered Arceus asking them to search for and listing off the potential dangers of each of them. She wanted to be fully prepared for the next encounter. Pantalaimon running up and surprise attacking them wasn't going to work every time. They had to be ready for anything. Walter had to convince her to stop working long enough to actually eat something. By the time he had managed it, her food had long since gone cold. She didn't care. She picked at what she decided was edible before leaving her Pokemon to finish the rest. "I think we need to find a...Trapinch next?" That sounded correct. Compared to the last two Pokemon, a Trapinch felt like nothing. Pantalaimon would be able to get through that encounter without any difficulty. "The Rhyhorn might be a problem." The Rhydon would be even worse. She frowned and sighed. Some small part of her was aware that the encounter with Arceus was real. That didn't mean she had to be okay with it. The hours passed by quickly given how distracted she was. Elfana soon found herself on a boat heading back to Malie City but her task hadn't changed. She was going to figure out a way to safely deal with the Rhydon and Rhyhorn.

The two dragons cast shadows over the massive Heahea City from above. People looked up, shielding their eyes, but by the time they'd have been able to see Salamence and Charizard they were already gone over the huge buildings. They had trouble finding a Pokemon Center, but they finally found it on the main stretch of road going through town. Charizard landed heavily about a block away (so as not to disrupt the Trainers and citizens walking into, out of, or past the Center. The gust from her wings alone would have been capable of that.

So Kira walked down the block beside Lucy, and entered the Pokemon Center. The people there weren't quite as friendly as in the smaller Town, but they were pleasant enough. She had to admit, it came with the territory of a large city. Even one on an island paradise. Still, she was treated well enough by the energetic Nurse. In between patients, she was more than happy to supply the young Trainer with her fourth stamp of the Alola Region.

She even gave her some advice on how to get to the next spots she would need, but Kira did not really need the assistance. From here, she was going to fly out on the back of Charizard and get to where she needed from above. She thanked the Nurse for her help anyway and left the Pokemon Center to see what was going on with her Pokemon. She decided that the other dragons had rested long enough, and that they would all like the opportunity to join in the flight to KoniKoni City.

Grim hopped off of the boat with Raika and Luckett close behind him. The fresh sea air and tropical surroundings had done wonders for Grim's stress. He felt at home in this climate a lot more than he did in Galar, too bad his parents had ruined this region. If not for them he probably would have taken on the grand trials instead, but he didn't want his name spreading around here. It would invite far too much trouble. He unloaded his bike and hopped on before taking off towards the next town. While on the boat he had planned a route to take on this island, and he hopped to find some new pokemon along the way. So long as his luck held out anyway.

Grim arrived in Heahea City and took his time to mull about the shops for a little while. He bought a few souvenirs while he could as well as some new clothes before heading to a restaurant to get a bite to eat. Besides Raika and Luckett, he also let Tokumei out to enjoy the good food, rather hoping it might help bring her around. She seemed a little less grumpy after the battle games they participated in, and yet she still refused to look Grim in the eyes as she ate. Rather than her usual anger she seemed rather sullen now, causing Grim and Luckett to share a concerned look. Raika remained oblivious to it all, far too caught up in her own little world to notice the small cues of those around her. As far as the Boltund was concerned, this vacation thing had been a blast! She hopped they could go on another one soon.

Once the group had finished eating Grim returned Tokumei to her pokeball before heading for the docks. Sadly these boats were merely local and couldn't take him home, however they did go to Malie City, which had a much bigger port. There he would catch a boat that would finally take him back to galar. He hopped on a small boat and settled himself in for the short ride over to Malie, deciding to catch a nap while he could.

Arriving at the port, Alice hopped off the boat and jogged excitedly down the docks. From here she could just make out the pokemon center, which she headed for first to heal up Valefor. She headed into the building and gave the nurse his pokeball before taking a look at the leaflets along the desk. Most were places for tourists, but a few were for trainers, of which she grabbed a few to read.

It didn't take long for the nurse to return with Valefor, whom she let out of his pokeball almost immediately. The Tyrunt gave her a look before sniffing about curiously and following her out of the pokemon center. For now at least he seemed obedient, though she knew just how stubborn the species was, and how dangerous. Still, she was confident in herself. If her brother had managed to raise one, why couldn't she?

Alice headed to a place to get some food before she began her search. It didn't take her long to find a small dinner that seemed rather quaint, and as she stepped inside she found the place to be rather relaxing. Despite the amount of other trainers sitting at tables and talking animatedly, it somehow didn't feel crowded. She found a booth and ordered herself a pop and fries before ordering Nyx and Valefor something to eat as well. They would need it for the training that she had planned later in the day.

As soon as they had all finished eating, Alice paid the waitress and headed back out into the fresh air. She felt energized from the good food and fresh sea air. It was one of the reasons she already loved Alola. The air was so crisp and salty it cleared your mind and melted away lingering thoughts, something she needed desperately. Alive headed for the Market Place next. It was easy to find, the voice of the crowds audible even from the docks, and she pushed though the people determined to find what she came here for. It took her a few tries at the stalls before she finally found someone that sold the dang scales. It was more expensive then she had thought, but she still had enough and happily slipped the scale into her pocket.

With a quick thank you to the trader she slipped back through the crowd until she reached a quiet place along the side of a large warehouse. There she released Lahash and took out the Heart Scale. For a moment, she had no idea what to do now. Lahash looked up at her and ed his head to the side, as if equally confused. Finally, Alice tried touching the Axew's forehead with the scale, and at once it began to glow. In a flicker of light the Heart Scale became dull and grey, it's energy spent. Lahash, however, had remembered his old move.

Alice stopped off at a small store that boasted rent-able computers and sent out an email to Prof. Kukui before continuing on. She made her way though the market buying this and that, mostly goodies for herself and her pokemon to eat along the way as she turned for Seafolk village. The area there was mostly out of her league, but she wanted to explore while she waited for a reply from Prof. Kukui. Who knew what she might find? Besides, she had managed to get an old phone in the market with the money she had left, and it would tell her when she got a new email soon enough. Until then, she would do some investigating of her own.

Alice arrived back in Heahea late at night and with little energy to go on. On her way she had gotten a reply from Kukui, however the next assignment required she visit the pokemon daycare, which was by Paniola Town. Too tired for such travels tonight, Alice got a room and spent the night at the pokemon center.

By morning, Alice was rejuvenated and ready to go! She tossed on the red dress she had bought at the cloathing-boat and headed out the door, making her way to the market once more. There she bought a bike and hopped on, leaving Nyx and Valefor out to run beside her as she kicked off and headed for Paniola town.

Alice arrived back in Heahea City and turned immediately toward the Pokecenter. There she parked her bike and tucked it safely away on the bike rack for future use. For now she would go on foot. If she was going to teach Gadreel new moves for her research she was going to need a few items, which of course would cost money. Those two TRs had taken most of her money, and what she had left wasn't nearly enough. It was time to find a few more jobs!

Alice wandered the main street of Heahea, looking for anything that might hint of a job. Finally, she gave up expecting to be approached like before and simply waltzed into a shops to ask if they had use of her pokemon today. It took her a few tries, but eventually a Coffee shop responded that they had need and Alice finally had her job.

"You're a lifesaver, miss. Our usual trainer is off today, and his pokemon with him. We thought he could just do without, but this is far better!" The friendly waiter grinned at her as he took her into the back and explained he needed a pokemon capable of fire for the bar and a cute pokemon for greeting. Both of which Alice could offer. She released Gadreel and Purah and sent them to their positions, taking a seat herself behind the counter to keep an eye on them as they worked.

Alice watched as the man explained to Gadreel how to roast the coffee beans. It was far more of a process than Alice had ever considered. First they had to wash and dry the beans to clean them, then they had to set up the large circular tin that they would be roasted in, and lastly came the actual roasting. Gadreel was instructed to use his Ember on the beans and the man showed the little dragon pokemon how to tell when they were done or not. It was all pretty facinating to watch, and Alice was happy to see the care Gadreel put into his work. The little Bagon was focused on his flame, trying to make it as even as possible as he scorched the beans in the tin. By the time he was done, the whole shop smelled delicious!

Alice got herself a cup of coffee as the waiter went about showing Purah what to do as a greeter. The little Dratini wiggled happily as the man spoke, though Alice could tell most of his words went right over her head. Still, she gave it her best, wiggling out to meet those who were passing by and try to lure them to the coffee shop. Eventually, Alice decided to help out and ,after asking the waiter for a uniform, joined Purah trying to get customers.

They soon found they had a hidden talent for such a job. Few could say no to a pretty young girl and her adorable wiggly Dratini. Alice smiled at how easily they were persuaded, and soon decided if she ever gave up the researcher thing this would be a good fall-back plan!

Purah brought more and more customers into the coffee shop with Alice's help until the shop soon filled up and the two were forced to take a break. Alice chose to check on Gadreel, who had switched to using Dragon Breath at the waiter's advice. Alice was surprised at the different smell the beans gave off as opposed to the ones he roasted using Ember. They seemed.. sweeter. Fascinated, Alice jotted down the info in her journal and smiled at learning something new. She hadn't thought different attacks had different properties when it came to food prep, and she wondered if Kukui knew this. He probably did, but she was still excited at the thought of maybe knowing something he didn't.

Purah wiggled back out as the line in the shop went down and Alice was forced to put her coffee down and chase after her. The little Dratini was excited to work and Alice couldn't help but share her enthusiasm. It was hard to feel tired with Purah's energetic self wiggling about her. Purah climbed up onto Alice's shoulder and the two went about collecting more customers rather effortlessly. Despite it being work, Alice was having a blast and found that she was beginning to understand Purah a little more. Now, she had no interest in being friends with her pokemon, but she did know that knowing them was important in knowing what they would and wouldn't do. Purah seemed the type to follow orders perfectly. She was more than willing to do whatever Alice asked, and seemed happy doing so. Even things such as dancing to gain onlooker's attentions in front of the store. All in all, she had found a good loyal pokemon in Purah.

As evening began to set in Alice returned to the shop and headed inside to check on Gadreel. The little Bagon was huffing on a chair taking a break when she arrived, and without thinking Alice patted him on the head. In response, the Bagon happily nuzzled her hand, which made Alice feel awkward, yet she merely bared it until he pulled away. Affection aside, he had done an excellent job keeping up with the orders, and Alice thought his stamina had to have improved in the process.
"Thank you all so much!" The Waiter grinned at the trio before paying Alice what she was owed and inviting them to have coffee here whenever they wanted. Alice took him up on the offer and got a coffee to go before returning Gadreel and Purah to their pokeballs and heading out once more. She released Nyx and Valefor to walk along side her as she wandered the area looking for more work. It was going to be a long day.

Alice walked along the main street and peeked in and out of the stores looking for work. She technically had enough for the first item, but she knew she would need more for the others. As the thoughts of all the work needed to be done weighed on her Alice decided to stop for a rest. With a sigh she sat on a bench and cradled her face in her hands for a moment before straightening up. She wasn't scared of some hard work, but maybe she needed a little change up for a bit. There were other ways of making money after all, such as battling. It was time to find herself an opponent.

She smiled and approached him, offering a battle. He accepted quickly to Alice's relief and led her to an open spot that would be suitable as a battlefield. Apparently it would be a two on two battle, a first for Alice, and there was even some money to gain, or lose. Alice was confident however, and easily took the challenge. Bring it on.

Alice grinned as she won the bout and collecting the winnings. Her little dragons were shaping up to be good pokemon, and she was relieved it was all going so smoothly. She bid the boy farewell and headed back into the city to find a place to eat, quickly stopping off at the pokemon center to heal her pokemon before settling on a quaint restaurant on the main strip.

Alice stood and approached the two staff members, introducing herself as a trainer looking for quick work. As she had hoped, the staff immediately accepted her offer and as soon as she could wrap up her food she was to start. It seemed this time she would be making food deliveries.

Alice fastened the small wagon to Valefor and made sure it fit well before straightening up and admiring her work. Meanwhile the Tyrunt seemed less then enthused at pulling a wagon, again. Still, he put up with it, if only because Alice had told him it would improve his stamina and build muscle. Technically neither were a lie, and he trusted the girl well enough. Nyx was also not enthused about her job. She sat upon the wagon of food and sniffed about, wanting more to eat said food than deliver it. Granted, she was happy she at least didn't have to pull the wagon itself, rather than ride upon it. For once her small size had come in handy.

The three headed for their first stop on the list, a red house at the end of the lane. Alice walked alongside Valefor as he pulled the wagon with a grumble.
"It'll all be over quick, and you'll be stronger for it." Alice reassured him as they made their way down the street. Valefor grumbled a reply and put his weight into it as he hauled the wagon the last few blocks to the red house. There Alice collected the food from Nyx and brought it up to the door, smiling warmly as an old lady opened it. The old lady thanked them and accepted the food, even going as far as giving Alice a tip, before bidding her goodbyes and closing the door.

Alice happily pocketed the tip and returned to the wagon, finding the next address on her list. One down, three to go!
