The Lycanroc's tail wagged at Cyren's words, clearly happy that he was helping, which what he didn't know. But he was helping and being a good boy so that was all that mattered to the canine. Demetri was grinning at his Pokemon, proud of the Pokemon's accomplishment. "Usually he makes for good company, and a good work out and running buddy. Some think he's part of my security team, but honestly he wouldn't hurt a fly." He replied speaking in hushed tones about him not hurting a fly, explaining why he had never really thought to use his to assist in the investigation. Usually he was around to stress relief and a running buddy, both of which the Lycanroc was more than happy to help out with. Cyren was kind enough to step in when Elizabeth questioned why they needed to look at her Pokemon. He had found it odd not only that she questioned it, but that she also didn't trust the box system. Had this not been an investigation he would have asked. Demetri turned his attention back to the Reporter and waiting for her response and the Pokemon she would let out. Meanwhile the Abra transferred the information about the older woman was diamond scent free, however the young blonde in pink smelt of diamonds but he thought it could because of her Jewlery to the guard, to whom passed this on to the Baron. Demetri looked to the pink clad woman, who now was speaking with Liz. She seemed to be finding herself in the wrong place at the wrong time again. The Baron nodded to the Guard. While he was wiaiting for a response from Elizabeth, The Baron felt he should fill in. "Just so you're aware, Mars found a diamond scent on the woman in Pink, but he thinks it might be her jewelry because it looks like that's what she's wearing." Demetri commented to mostly Cyren because it was Mars's find, but he knew he was within ear shot of Elizabeth.






Elizabeth Plum

Elizabeth listened to the male as he spoke. She blinked for a moment, and frowned her brows as she made no motion to collect her Pokeballs. "I understand, but obviously the scent of the Pokémon who knocked into me would be on me." She reiterated. She clearly didn't like that the spot light was now back on her when she did nothing wrong, at least in her opinion. She just wanted them to start investigating someone else that was guilty and she could go about her business. She went to reach into her Pokemon bag, hesitating for a moment. "I don't think-" She began to comment looking to the Baron then glancing around at the area around them. "-Okay" She replied with an 'okay you asked for it' tone. She moved away from the stage and away from the group before pulling out three more Pokeballs, expanding them. She opened them up into a more open space. This revealed three beams of red lights of different sizes. The Largest expanded into a large bird, revealing a Pidgeot. Next was a Meowstic standing poised next to the Pidgeot, and finally a Chatot who was fluttering in the air, and came to rest on the Pidgeot. All three Pokemon looked around clearly confused at why they were out at the ball. "Hey guys, They just want to get your scent to rule you out, and prove you didn't knock me down and that you're innocent" Elizabeth told her Pokemon, seeing the clear confusion. Her Cutiefly buzzed around her partners happily. The Pidgeot was clearly unbothered by the happening as he began to preen his feathers, The Chatot gave the Baron, Cyren and their Pokemon the eye. Not a threatening look, just a daring look that only a Parrot could give. The Meowstic seemed to have a calm and neutral look about it, as most meowstics did. Elizabeth stepped aside and waved her hand to allow them forward.

The older woman had returned to minding her business. There wasn't much else she could do in the Ballroom. She had negative encounters with every person she had spoken with. Had she not been stuck here she would have left hours ago. She had hoped there would be a much more respectable crowd here due to the royalty but she was clearly wrong on that. The only pleasantries she had gotten from was a friendly and beautiful Espeon, and the playful Rockruff puppy. She had turned her attention back to the wine glass she had obtained, and looking at the small stage the live band was on longingly. She let a deep sigh as she was lost in thought. What pulled her from her thoughts was a young child entering her peripheral vision, causing her to look down in confusion. It all left as she noticed it was a Machop of all things. Her expression of confusion held as she followed the Pokemon's gesture towards the playful rockruff. So she had been a team mate of the puppy? That's the only thing she could figure. They weren't looking at her so she wasn't expected to go over there. She looked back to the Pokemon as she continued to speak. She wasn't as cute as the espeon or rockruff, but she smiled and waved so she was friendly at least. She didn't understand what the Pokemon was saying obviously so she responded the only way she could figure. "I suppose you could have a seat... No one else is." She replied, her tone wasn't as friendly or as excited as it had bit with the puppy, but she wasn't entirely cold either. She wasn't sure what the Pokemon would want from her really, but she didn't mind sharing the table with her.

Lucille Natasha Pevensey

Lucille listened to the quick tragic sum up of the Tsarenna's child hood. Apparetly she was sweet but had a rough life when she was young. The blonde began to eye over the Tsarenna as Liz continued to speak,, questioning if the fruit queen was restless or just wanting to battle. She didn't try to hide that she was reading the Pokemon over, looking at her expression to her pristine and unblemished body. Something Lucille wouldn't have expected from a trainer's pokemon, especially one that apparently enjoyed fighting. "It's obvious isn't it?" The blonde questioned looking to the redhead expectantly. She shifted her weight from one side to another, causing a shift in the floof of her dress. "She obviously has pent up anger from her rough life. I would be pissed if I was helpless and allowed a poor life. Thankfully I'm neither." She retorted. She obviously didn't know Belle's entire life story, but from what she was told, Liz's own words were the painting on the wall. She had a rough childhood and how she could help it, she wasn't going to allow herself to have a rough life again. "Now she's not helpless, and she's going to keep it that way. Tsarenna are often better and cold, if they make it to being a Tsarenna." She replied with a shrug as if it were simple to her. Lucille was a confident woman, and was sure she was right when she was right. However, there was something she wasn't that knowledgeable about. "If she likes to battle, couldn't you just go to a gym and battle?" She questioned. She wasn't sure what the problem with wanting to battle since she was a trainer. if she did have Pokemon herself, it would be a problem if they wanted to battle and fight. But since she was a trainer she should be getting all the battles she wanted.

As the conversation moved and went as a back and forth, it was a power struggle between the two young woman, however neither cared about the other's opinion or 'power' in said struggle. she questioned why they would want to show case her shoes. "I'm sure your friend would understand, shoes and accessories, much like gowns, can be seen as collectables. Especially in historic nights like tonight." She commented, stating her friend might understand in a more subtle way of saying 'you wouldn't understand.' "Normally one of a kind shoes, or what have you, warn by an important person are seen as collectables." She added, lifting up the front of her skirts just enough to reveal the diamond and pearl encrusted heels she were wearing, clearly one of a kind and made for her. After dropping her skirts again, she couldn't help but notice the redhead favoring one arm over the other, nervously adjusting the other sleeve. She had even commented on it stating she had been left handed. Lucille had noticed it, however she didn't really need to bring it up in conversation. She took a breath as she adjusted her thick blonde curls before looking back to Liz. "I mean, if you can afford it, why not?" She told her with a shrug of one shoulder and a flashing her pearly whites in a smile. Which not only was she really digging in that only if she can afford it, but also she genuinely meant it. If you can have it, why not? She made it fairly clear she enjoyed the finer things in life. Liz continued on to saying that she'd never wear her dress again, questioning why girls like then needed money. Lucille took a quick pause, she had to paths she could take, one saying what she was thinking, as her eyes traveled down Liz another time. She could definitely give her a list of what she could do with money. Or she could keep her mouth shut with the girl who's shown she was aggressive, and her Tsarenna who apparently loves battling. "Money runs the world for starters." She explained as if it was something Liz should have already known. "However, I don't need the money this dress would go for. But the press that will come with it is more important. Any news is good news." She told her. She was clearly a socialite, and she was going to make sure she stayed relevant.

While the group had conjugated around the Baron, The Lycanroc was looking around at all of the guests in the room. Not exactly paying attention to the conversation. He hadn't been informed of the tragedy of the night; he was just playing a new game Demetri had given him. He sniffed the air a few times, and immediately located the food table, and stared it down. He didn't move from his seated position, but he licked his chops as he watched the food table as if it were going to run away. Had Mars not spoken up he might have started drooling. But the younger voice snapped him out of his stare down. He looked down to the puppy, causing his tail to start waging quickly, he had found a new playmate. However, before he could take a playful stance, Mars's question registered. "No idea." He admitted happily to the smaller dog. "I just have to match that smell from the floor to someone." The canine replied optimistically. He was oblivious to the serious tone happening around him, he was just happy to be there. The puppy offered to show him how it worked, which brought the wag back to his tail as she stood up and followed the smart puppy. The canine seemed oblivious to the puppy's exasperated or negative tone, or maybe he didn't care. He was led towards the bird that was much larger than him. It wasn't like the Noivern he was used to, and seemed to look down on him. His tail stopped as he lowered towards the ground, cautiously looking upwards towards the bird as the bird opened its wing to them. He wasn't fully cowering but he was very clearly cautious. He moved closely quickly and sniffed very quickly and moved on. They moved onto the meowstic, then the smaller bird. He listened to the puppy as he thought for a moment. "Yeah, it's funny they can't, but Demetri sometimes seems to understand me." He commented to the puppy, however he stopped and his eye went wide. He was supposed to be matching the scent. He looked to the puppy to see if he had caught the scent too, and moved back to the Meowstic, smelling the psychic again and with a sneeze. Instead of walking over to the Abra like Mars had suggested, he looked up to Demetri and let out a few excited barks. The Baron placed his hand on his Canine's head to calm the dog.

With his dog calmed, he took it in to consideration that the Meowstic had the scent on her. But before he put much thought into it, Cyren caught his attention. Cyren was speaking about another possible suspect, the blonde, he questioned if there were a way to ask if it were just her Jewelry that smelt of Diamonds or not. She was wearing quite a set so she obviously would have the scent all over her. "I don't think so, if we can't differentiate the scents, we wouldn't be able to tell without speaking to her. " He told Cyren, however there was a familiar voice that arrived behind him. He turned to face the fiery redhead, she claimed the woman in pink was 'ok' but up to something. Also stating it was suspicious that she knew so much about Pokemon. A trainer had stated she knew a lot, so it gave quite a bit to think about. "I would say it was pretty abnormal for someone of her status to know so much." The Baron pondered. Yes it was odd, but it didn't mean she was guilty. It wasn't until a silent party near by let out a groan, and rolled his eyes. "If you want it done right, you gotta do it yourself." He sighed, standing up from his seat, his Sableye holding onto his shoulder and his legs dangling down Marco's back. "I tried to stay out of it, but clearly dropping hints won't help." Marco complained to the Baron, and the surrounding group, at least not for Liz who had just arrived. Previously he commented to Demetri, Cyren, and Katie to look at other suspect, and that others were more suspicious but it was brushed off. Something he had commented on three separate occasions that was brushed off. "As suspicious as Ms. Elizabeth is, Ms. Pevensey has a motive." Marco commented, this causing Demetri to go speechless. His mouth fell open for a moment before quickly shutting it and gestured for Marco to continue. "When you're in my line of work, you make sure to know big leagues like her family. The Pevensey family run a Diamond company. But her daddy's Diamond mine has run dry and they're trying to keep it a secret, and find a way to keep the fortune." Marco explained with his arms crossed. Demetri was aware of her family's company, which is why she was invited, as well as her socialite status, but he was completely unaware that the diamond mine was now empty. "So she was going to sell the Diamond Gigalith to keep her fortune" he thought out loud looking to Marco. "Or maybe to Produce more Diamonds, Redhead said she knew a lot about Pokemon." Marco commented, gesturing to Liz. The Baron nodded, it was all making sense, and then his expression hardened. "Then she stabbed Rhya to cover up the theft. My grandmother was just a distraction to her, and Rhya was an accident. She must have known the frenzy would have been around the Archduchess instead of the Pokeball." The Baron commented angrily looking back to his grandmother who also had the same hardened expression.

Demetri gestured for his Lycanroc to follow, the canine could tell something as wrong with his partner, so he followed matching his serious tone. The guards both followed Demetri as they walked over to the young woman in Pink. "Lucille Pevensey, you are under arrest and in royal custody for the attempt of murder of the Grande Archduchess Adelaide Albert, The assault of Rhya, and the theft of a priceless Pokemon. " Demetri announced in a loud stern voice, enough for everyone in the room to hear. She stepped back and looked at the Baron like he was Crazy. "What?!" She shouted, giving him an angry look. "You're insane." She insulted shaking her head. Her eyes scanned the guards and then her eyes snapped to Liz, as she clinched her jaw. The snide poor girl was on to something. She shook her head angrily. "You can't be serious. I wasn't even in the room. I was in the bathroom!" She shouted angrily at the Baron who didn't flinch. The male glared angrily at her, listening to her comment. She had been placed outside of the Ballroom, so far the only guest with a proven alibi. "Can anyone vouch for you in the bathroom?" The Baron asked her, his tone remaining steady and stern. "No, I was alone in the bathroom. But There's no way I could have gotten back in here." She spat at the Baron as if he and the group were stupid. The Baron shook his head. "You will be given a trial in front of the king and queen. Until then, you will remain in royal custody." The Baron told her, as she stepped away again. "Oh no, Not when my family and lawyer hear about this. This is ridiculous." She replied reaching into her purse, but as she did it disappeared off her person, causing her to flinch in shock. The Abra had teleported it away in case she was reaching for a weapon or Pokeball. The Guard walked up and grabbed her by the arms and restrained her. She did not fight the guards, for the most part it was because she couldn't in her large dress, but she struggled against them with all her might as she was pulled from the room. "I'm innocent! You can't do this!" She shouted as she was pulled from the room. Her struggle and shouted suddenly stopped as her and the guards were teleported away.

This felt wrong. Why did it feel wrong? Liz watched as Lucille was snatched up by the royal guard, her face etched with a deep frown. It wasn't supposed to happen like this. She was supposed to help catch them. If anything, she had given away someone's freedom trying to help clear them. Belle was tense, ready to leap at the commotion and kick Lucille at least once, but she paused seeing the way Liz looked. Her trainer had been boasting that she would punch the killer ever since the attack took place. This was not the face of someone who was going to punch anybody. Without a sound, Belle sidled up to her trainer, placing her tiny hands onto her trainer's right hand and giving a reassuring squeeze. She didn't know if Lucille had seen her, but Liz still mouthed "I'm sorry" when she thought the blond was looking. It felt wrong. She had messed up. Someone was going to prison for her mistake. She should say something, but she had no proof. When the guards and their prisoner disappeared Belle gently tugged on her trainer's hand. Leah came up beside her next and pushed her head into Liz's left hand. The redhead smiled weakly and knelt down to wrap her arm around her Absol's neck. She tugged her Tsareena and hugged the berry Pokemon tightly as they tried to comfort her. Spike rounded up Princess--who was busy corroding a table cloth trying to tug some food onto the floor--and the group was reformed with her Ariados carrying her Salandit on his back. Her Honedge remained stuck to her back, staring warily at the people around them. Way too many things weren't adding up for the sword Pokemon, and he was unsure how to communicate his feelings. He didn't know who did it but he was certain that Lucille did not. More now than ever.

Liz sighed heavily after the Duchess' announcement. She let go of her Pokemon, patting Princess and Spike on their heads gently, and stood up to collect her reward. She picked out one of the balls without really looking at them, glancing to the Duchess as she struggled with her own thoughts. What could she really say? Demetri was wrong? Lucille was innocent? That would just upset people again...but the killer was still out there. "Thank you. I hope you're OK, ma'am. And I hope Rhya recovers quickly." She said, approaching the elder woman. "Have you heard anything about her condition?" Shoulder injury was probably not going to kill anybody, but Rhya had made Liz feel like she belonged here. She was worried for the woman's well-being. If nothing else she could at least check on Adelaide and Rhya. Something to help the tightness in her stomach. She would deal with her guilt later....right after she identified that thing! Hoopa tearing up the fountain had Liz's jaw hanging. Belle moved first and sprinted for the door. Liz called her Pokemon to follow, kicking her heels off as she started to run as well. "Spike! Stay with the Duchess!" She shouted to her Ariados, who screeched to a halt as he had started moving as well. Bigger spider was slightly less afraid of everything. Plus he was more scared that whatever was out there would hurt Liz. His mandibles clicked and he chittered anxiously before backing up and squatting in front of the podium.

Belle arrived outside first, followed by Leah, then Liz. Princess trailed behind on her tiny legs and scampered to her trainer's ankles, staring up at the Legendary Hoopa. "HEY! QUIT TEARING THIS PLACE UP! WE FINISHED THE PARTY! GO HOME!" The redhead screamed at the Unbound Forme of Hoopa. Katie was out here already. Why wasn't she fighting it? Liz looked confused but was prepared to take matters into her own hands. Belle was already hunkered down, ready to lunge into the sky if Hoopa proved himself an enemy. Liz had not paid the little djinn much mind before, making the entity before her completely alien. Well, at least now she wouldn't be dwelling on her guilt for very long. She had something to be angry at. Belle had something to kick. It was going to be a good night after all.

The Ball seemed to speed up around her. After Liz made her exit towards her Absol, she started a conversation with the blonde bimbo she ran into before. Ridley let a scoff escape and a roll of her eyes looking at the barbie pink girl. Ridley definitely was a girl that liked Pink, but she liked it in a much different way than the blonde bimbo before her. They both had the same body type Ridley would guess, but they definitely were two different shades of pink. They both appeared to be fashionable, but she leaned more towards sexy and punk rock, while Natasha seemed to lean more towards princess barbie... Something Ridley did not like. They were the dumb blondes that Ridley liked making fun of. They gave blondes a bad name. Ridley made her way over to a table just as the commotion seemed to kick up. Like clockwork, the other blonde was put on the spot like as the Baron angrily made his way to her. She and her Pokemon watched as the altercation went down and she was arrested as a result. Ridley hadn't been paying attention to the investigation, so she had no other reference for who it might be. "Ha." She let out a laugh as the other blonde was drug away. Ridley found it funny that her rival was arrested. As she did Amma reappeared, having sensed that Liz had left. "Serves her right." Ridley commented and looked back to the old woman. She rolled her eyes at the lengthy speech, but at least she was getting something out of it. Ridley walked towards the stage and collected her Pokeball, offering a "Thank you." and a pretty smile before turning away and rejoining her Pokemon. She had to at least be kind to the old bat. She had been attacked that night and had to go through all this. So she at least could be nice to her. "Let's blow this pop stand before anything else happens.." Ridley replied with a roll of her eyes, and a twirl of her finger in the air. As she did the crack of concrete caught her attention form the garden outside. "Nope. Time to go." She proclaimed and with the aid of the Abra they were teleported out and to Laverre.

She made sure to send debris away from her trainer first and foremost, but she still was kicking the heaviest things she could still control back toward Hoopa hoping to hit him in the head. It was going well, really. She was...missing on purpose. That was it. The Tsareena was growing frustrated while Liz struggled to predict the trajectory of the garbage flying at everyone. Leah was considerably more successful, biting onto the redhead's skirt and dragging her to the ground in time for a can of coffee to go sailing past her head. Still she was shouting at the monstrosity creating this hazard zone. "YOU GET YOUR ASS DOWN--AYY!--HERE! I'LL SH--EEP!--SHOW YOU 'POWER'!" Even crying out like a frightened puppy she was trying to start a fight with some god of space-time. Leah had to tackle Liz down the next time, forcing her to the ground when a kitchen sink flew over head. A stray pipe hooked the Absol's horn and yanked her away with a yelp of pain. "LEAH!" Liz scrambled for her Absol, fighting against the force that was already pushing her around.
