  Just outside the Isle of Armor, where the tropical climate makes the waters blue and clear and the weather warm and bright, Discovery Island has made their docking facility where their top of the line ferries will await for guests to board, scheduled to go out into the ocean in increments throughout the day. The ferries themselves are luxurious, brand new, and can easily hold tens of dozens of people, so they are spacious and accommodating for the two hour long trip.
Upon reaching the shores of the island, you'll be ready to board the high speed magnet trains that will take you more inland across the southern portion of the coast, and into the gates of the Discovery Island park.
Once inside the gates, disboarding from the magnet train, the top rated amenities of the park are on every corner for guests to enjoy. Restaurants and food from all over the world, shops and vendors with the finest luxury items, souvenirs, and clothing line the walkways to make sure there is something for everyone who might be visiting. Small man made beaches are near each resort style hotel for relaxing in the sun, along with resort style pools, cabanas, and other amenities. A top of the line Pokemon Center is here too, equipped to tend to both guests and their Pokemon. Overall, it seems that no expense was spared in making sure that even the very beginning of a guest's experience at the park had that wow factor, right down to the wide walkways, the manicured plants and flowers, and the plentiful seating and resting areas. |

 As the ferry slid to a stop along the docks of Discovery Island, a small girl with long silver hair leaned out over the rail with an expression that could only be seen as excitement. By the looks of it, her ferry was the first to disembark, making her one of the first visitors to come to Discovery island! Alice smiled and quickly made her way off the ferry and up the docks towards the trains that would lead her to the shops. Luckily she had some money saved for just this kind of thing, and she was determined to get as much goodies as possible during her time here. At least, that was her hope. She still didn't know what was in store for her here on this island of rumors, but she was confident she could deal with whatever came her way regardless!
As requested in the invite, Alice had dropped off her extra pokemon at a PC outside the isle of armor. She had already decided on who her three pokemon would be. On either side of her, Nyx and Valefor walked with determination, as if deeming themselves her own personal guards. Meanwhile, up above in the clouds, Dialga watched silently as always. Or rather, partially silently.
"Do you think this is a good idea? It could be a place to trap trainers." The voice floated through Alice's mind, a feeling she had gotten used to already when Dialga spoke to her. "I'm
not that good of a trainer to be worth trapping, at least for now, and I
trust you three to handle it if something happens anyway." Alice thought back at the legendary pokemon without breaking pace.
Of course she had considered the possibility of this being a trap, but honestly her ego wasn't big enough to think she was that valuable. Sure, she was the upcoming princess of dragons, but 'upcoming' was the key word there. Besides Dialga, of which they couldn't know about yet, she had to real value beyond owning pokemon a pokemon collector might want. Considering she couldn't imagine a pokemon collector going to this much trouble... it seemed unlikely to be a trap. Still, she let Nyx and Valefor remain on guard just in case as they headed for the train.

He really didn't like traveling on boats. Even though he liked the scenery and water, the movement was too much for him. And the fact he had to go from one boat to another, was a nightmare actually. Vale didn't spent so much time on the Isle of Armor, since it was just a small stop before moving further, and he frankly didn't want to change it. Galar was his least place of interest on his list, and besides.. that wasn't his main goal here. At least the ferry was nicer and with better accommodations - and it was only a two hours trip in better way.
Not knowing what else to do, he just take a quick nap, letting his Dewott out - to have Caspian wake him up once they arrive. The travel was tiring, after all, and Vale knew he should be at better condition and state as he arrives at new place. And that gave his Pokemon a moment to accommodate himself to the new situation as well. At least he was well behaved and not too big for the situation. At least it really did took them two hours to arrive at the another docks, but for good this time. Dewott woke him up in time and he had moment to get himself ready before leaving.
Still, he didn't quite feel well after two boat rides. And he was pretty sure the another ride was going to be a fast, magnet train. And Vale didn't feel like he was looking forward to it, not now at least. But maybe he will get better as he will walk up to the station? Hopefully.
"Alright Caspian, let's go." he muttered to his Pokemon as they exited the docks and walked towards the train. He was purposefully slower, to catch a breath and look around a bit. He spotted some other boats docking as well, and some people leaving them. Few were even heading towards the train, like that white-haired girl. Huh, so maybe it wasn't a total scam - to be fair he probably should realize that a while ago, when getting aboard a rather.. expensive and fancy ferry. But who can blame him for being a bit more careful than usual? But he also couldn't help being a bit excited about it - sure, discoveries and science weren't his thing, but it was still new and interesting place. Maybe it will be worthy the trouble of getting here. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

Velvet stepped off the ferry, happy to finally be done with the boat portions of their trip, and realizing with a sudden chill that eventually, they'd have to take the same length of boat trip all the way back to Alola if they wanted to resume their journey as they had been. It was enough to give them the resolve to look into chartering a plane next time instead..
At any rate, as tired as they were, Velvet was invigorated by the strange smell of Discovery Island as they stood on the docks. It was quite a different smell than what they were used to from home or from Alola, like even though the plants were still tropical, they were different than the ones back in Alola still. Even the air off the sea smelled different here, somehow, though that could have just been the sense of adventure. Here was an exclusive place that only a few people were invited to visit and Velvet felt like they were special in some way to be invited. Though they didn't believe they were all that different or special from others, they did enjoy the feeling that someone had picked them out of other possible trainers, even if the final list of guests was randomly chosen after the first list had been made.
Velvet saw a few other people also exiting the ferry and was pleased to see that they were the first ones here, and their excitement was renewed yet again. They let out their three chosen Pokemon, holding Applin while Pidove alighted to their shoulder and Oshawott stood on her own. "We're here, we're finally here!" Velvet was quite excited to be done with boats for.. hopefully a long time.
Oshawott also seemed to share her trainer's enthusiasm, darting around the docks and looking at all the other trainers and their Pokemon, chattering at them and running off to see other things, like an excited child. Velvet laughed at their Pokemon's excitement. Pidove and Applin were more reserved, choosing to stay with their trainer.
"Go..?" Pidove said aloud. "No more go, Pidove, we're here. The only thing left is the train to the actual park."
"Train!" Pidove called instead, looking pleased with himself. "Train, go!"

As Velvet and her party walked toward the magnet train, with Pidove occasionally screeching one or both of the words he'd learned and Oshawott running every which way, Oshawott finally caused a problem by running full tilt into another Pokemon and knocking herself to the ground.
"Oshawott! You know to watch where you're going, are you okay?" Velvet ran over to their Pokemon with concern written all over their face. "Oh gosh I'm sorry, are you okay?" Velvet wasn't familiar with the species of Pokemon her Oshawott had bumped, but it looked a lot like if her Oshawott was taller and blue. She wondered if they were related. "I am so sorry, really, Oshawott's just bad about getting into trouble.." Velvet trailed off, conscious that they were babbling.
They looked up from the Pokemon to see the trainer it belonged to, a tall person with long pink hair who was.. extremely pretty. Velvet felt their breath catch a little as they beheld this gorgeous trainer, but they caught themselves quickly and gave a sheepish grin. "You.. probably know how.. young Pokemon can be, huh? Oshawott's just really excited.."
Pidove called out, "Go! Go!" and held out his wings briefly, while Applin continued to rest in Velvet's arms, none the wiser of what was going on around them.

Honestly, he was too focused on walking to the station and not getting lost, that he didn't realize that more people might arrive and then run in their direction, to catch up. It made sense, right - it seemed smarted to enter the train in one group and then exit it, since it saved time and the trouble. But it still caught him off guard when another Pokemon just ran into his', knocking him down. Caspian was usually more cautious than this, but maybe he was just in awe with a completely new place to really pay attention. Vale jolted and stopped, looking down at the Pokemons. Caspian wriggled from underneath the newcomer, that turned out to be a regular Oshawott. It was a bit funny, actually - he had forgotten how 'normal' Oshawott's look already.
Dewott offered a paw to his unevolved counterpart to help them get up, when their trainer must had caught up to the scene as well. He glanced over them - the woman was rather short and plump, with also long, pink hair (alright, his was more purple, but it's a close enough hue). In her arms was a funny, apple-looking Pokemon.. at least he thought it was a Pokemon.. apples aren't that big and they don't blink. And she sounded a bit.. embarrassed of her Pokemon's actions.  "Sir, we have arrived." Church opened his eyes to find an attendant leaned over him with the intent to shake him awake. Almost immediately the smell of cologne assaulted Church's senses, making him shake the man off and get to his feet with a dishevelled look about him. For a moment he couldn't remember where he was, but soon the memories came flooding back. He must have arrived at Discovery Island already. Church smirked as he thought of what this visit might bring. Countless pokemon waited for him ahead, he only needed to take them.
Church disembarked the ship and made his way slowly down the docks. The air here was hotter than he was used to, and before he reached the end of the docks he had already unzipped his hoodie and shrugged it off to hang at his waist, not that his black t-shirt was much better in the sun. Still, it was a lot more bearable now at least.
Almost as soon as he reached the shore Church released Lilith to walk alongside him. The Tyrantrum straightened up and gave a loud roar in delight at being free from her ball before lowering her massive head and following behind Church. She knew her role, to appear frightening and make others move from her master's path. It was a simple ploy, and one they used a lot in crowded situations. It also showed Church who was worth keeping an eye on and who wasn't. He had no time to waste looking into those too scared of a Tyrantrum, mostly because said people were likely new trainers with nothing of worth to steal. He wanted this trip to be worth the trouble.

She went to select Jessica to keep with her when a Pokeball popped open and released the Pokemon behind her. She looked back and found her Gothitelle, who was now wearing a rather large sun hat. While Esme seemed to be listening to something she couldn't see or hear, Ridley assumed it was something psychic she did. Delphine had both of her knees on her seat, and hands on the window as she watched everything go by, even if it were just the ocean, while Themyscira kept her eyes on the deep waters, the longing in her eyes just as deep. But once they grew near the Island and they were actually able to see their new vacation location, this caught Ridley's attention. Delphine's face was now pressed against the glass as she tried to see everything all at once. " This is going to be so much fun!" Delphine exclaimed without moving her face from the window. "It does look pretty relaxing." The Sirene agreed, looking forward to a long trip of relaxing on the beach, leaving pretty much only Esme and Delphine excited about the fossils that they still had no idea about. On first judgements, she felt like she might get along with possibly two others there. One with purple hair, immediately she assumed was gay. He had long purple hair, and was pretty. She was not against profiling, and would be very disappointed if she were wrong, the other she was pretty certain he wasn't gay. He was attractive, so she assumed they would get along. Briar and Slate made their way off of the ferry together once it arrived at the Island. The docks were fairly crowded but she decided to release her Sobble and Absol from their Pokeballs anyway. Walking without them felt too uncomfortable for her liking. Bidi stretched himself out and yawned while Rosalyn started trying to climb her trainer. Briar picked the Sobble up and let her sit on her shoulders so she could get a better look at their surroundings. "This place is so big~! Where should we go first? Do you think we'll be able to see all of it? Are there gonna be more Bugs?" Rosalyn babbled on excitedly while Briar tried to figure out which way they needed to go to get to the trains. "Should we follow the crowd?" That would probably be easier and less intimidating than asking for directions. They made it as far as the shore before something else caught Rosalyn's attention. She began nudging her trainer to get her to look up then pointed towards a rather intimidating looking Tyrantrum. "Lookie~! It's so cool~! Do you think I'll be that big when I evolve?" The question was directed towards Bidi and Slate, neither of which shared her enthusiasm about the large fossil. Bidi just wanted to ignore it. Slate, on the other hand, pinned his ears back and let out a low growl. Briar winced and looked towards the Arcanine. That was new. Slate growled at plenty of things but this time he almost sounded nervous. The trip on the ferry must have put him on edge.
"Shhh. It's okay." Briar placed a hand against Slate's side to get him to look her way instead before hugging him to the best of her ability. "We're safe. There's nothing scary here." Slate's ears remained pinned but the growling slowly died down. There was no way she could know why he was actually so upset so he couldn't exactly fault her for it. They were supposed to be somewhere safe and fun. The Arcanine lowered himself to the ground so that Briar could climb onto his back. Safe and fun meant making sure that thing and its trainer did not become Briar's problem. Once they were in the park, chances were they wouldn't even run into them. The place was plenty big enough. He was about to turn and keep moving, when rather loud steps interrupted. It seemed like some big Pokemon was coming that way, and he wondered who would be crazy enough for that. Soon his question was answered - one of the incoming trainers was just accompanied by a Tyrantrum, a bit weird looking one at that. The Pokemon seemed to follow their trainer closely, casting shadow over anything and anyone on their path. Vale stared at them for a moment, before rolling his eyes. That wasn't very practical to enter with a Pokemon of such size, but that wasn't necessarily his problem.
"At least it's just a Tyrantrum. Although those are usually dark red." he said either to himself or the pink-haired woman, with a shrug as he looked back at the Pokemon and their trainer. He wasn't all that familiar with fossils, but the Kalos ones he knew. Barely, but still, it wouldn't hurt to share what he did knew. "And I don't know what he is trying to achieve. Great first impression if you want to show off your prized Pokemon, but if it's an attempt on intimidating people then he should try more than that, I suppose."
He couldn't speak for others, but he was used to it. Big Pokemons, at least, in a way. Well, that was a bit awkward from his part, but he stood by it. Most of the time, people who showed off their big scary Pokemons as a scare tactic didn't have anything else to offer or just hid behind them like cowards, rather than face problems on their own. Sure, Vale did toss Oberon at one person before, but it was an exception.. mostly because he was already hurt and not thinking clearly. But showing off strength by just tossing out big Pokemons wasn't his thing - mostly because he was still new to the whole training thing, and he preferred to show off his strength himself, rather than rely on his Pokemons.
Other trainers seemed to be more.. graceful with their companions. Even though some did had tall ones (like that other woman with a Delphox and a Sirene, or the other one riding on a.. orange dog of sorts), they at least acted like they didn't care about making a show. Speaking of, Caspian tugged his sleeve, reminding him to keep moving and not stand here like an idiot. Well, he couldn't agree more, and at least the totally-not-motion-sickness feeling left him fully, letting him move around and thing freely. That didn't meant his thinking was any good, but it was better than nothing. He only hoped the train ride will be somewhat peaceful, with so many strangers.

A roar caught Alice's attention as she closed in on the train station, causing her to glance back over her shoulder at the others disembarking behind her. It wasn't hard to find the source of the loud noise. A large Tyrantrum was heading in her direction, it's black and white hide unusual to say the least. Normally, this wouldn't faze her. However, what were the odds that this Tyrantrum just happened to be coloured the same unusual way as her brother's? Sure enough, she could make out the man walking in front of it, and his white hair was all she needed to know who he was. Great. This 'vacation' had just taken a turn she wasn't yet prepared for.
He doesn't know you. She reminded herself sternly. At most he might recognize her as a fellow kid from Spikemuth, but as far as she knew he couldn't know they shared a father. It was too soon to introduce herself. She wasn't strong enough yet, just an upstart really. So she decided to merely keep an eye on him for now. Maybe she would see how far he had come since the young boy she had looked up to in town. That was good enough for now.
Alice looked over the others gathering at the entrance with curiosity, however one caught her eye the most. It was a woman on the back of an Arcanine with pretty white hair like Alice's. However, that was about where the similarities ended. Alice was highly mature for her age due to circumstance, but even she couldn't force down the jealousy she felt looking at the other woman. Despite being fifteen already, Alice still looked very much like a child by most standards. The woman on the other hand, was undeniably a woman. She was beautiful.
Alice felt her cheeks flush with envy before she turned back and tried to focus on why she was here. It was to have fun and relax, right? Then why did it seem like it was going in a different direction already?

It wouldn't have intimidated Ridley or her Pokemon had they been there, just annoy them. Delphine might have been intimidated but she would make every effort to pretend like she wasn't. Ridley had made her way over to one of the near by benches, and sat down. If they weren't going to be allowed through just yet, she at least could get some sun. She laid her head back on the railing and let the sun bath her in warm and hopefully help her bring back her nice golden tan she would get when vacationing. This lasted her about 5 minutes before she started people watching. Another girl arrived, dressed fairly... frumpy. Baggy jeans, and baggy sweater. Ridley couldn't help but assume how hot the girl would be here on the tropical island. Maybe she had been use to the heat seeing her arcanine. The other girl talking to the presumed gay man she wanted to meet didn't really look like much either, but at least they matched hair some what so she wasn't going to bother in that conversation. The other young girl also didn't pull her attention all that much, She just seemed like she was scared to be there. That left the male with the Tyrantrum. She could tell he thought he was the tough guy, especially parading around his dinosaur. She grinned, maybe that could be a little fun. Find out if he actually is a hot tough guy, or just full of it. Ridley stood up, and began walking towards the male. She began eying him over, his outfit did not look like he was prepared to be on an island. He clearly didn't appear to have a sense of style, but had a pretty face. He was a bit more pale than she would have liked, but maybe she'll look past it. She walked up to Church, and with a hand on her hip, and shifting her weight to pop her hip out just right. "Is she here to compensate for something?" She said in a playful tone nodding up to the Tyrantrum. She raised an eyebrow to the male and flashed him a wide grin. Her Gothitelle and Sirene stood next to her, her psychic seemingly not really paying attention to Ridley's conversation, while Sirene seemed to be much more present. Her Delphox stood behind Ridley, not exactly hiding behind her, But if the large dino decided to strike, she was more then happy if she hit one of her team mates instead of herself. Church blinked his bi-coloured eyes as a woman's voice spoke up addressing him. He had been hoping to scope out potential victims while keeping his distance, but he hadn't expected someone to actually approach him, much less a woman. He turned and glanced at the girl, and for a moment she seemed familiar. Freya..? No, that's wrong. He mentally gave himself a shake and focused on the girl's differences. Blonde. Her hair was different. Although, she did seem to have the same attitude about her. His eyes dropped to her stuck out hip and he couldn't help the small smirk that appeared on his lips.
"Compensating? Perhaps, but not for what you may think." He replied in an equally playful tone, turning towards the woman and ing his head to the side as he looked her over. She wasn't exactly his type, and normally he might not have given her a second glance, but he was so mixed up currently that he simply didn't really care. "You always start conversations this way?"
As the human's talked, Lilith swung her head around to look over the woman and her pokemon. She showed no signs of aggression, however, seeing as Church seemed to be accepting of the woman's company. Instead she studied the woman's pokemon, of whom confused her. The one that instinct told her was the strongest of them hid behind the human like a coward, letting the weaker ones take the role of guards. Odd. She wasn't sure if it was a ploy or mere cowardice, but it mattered little to her in the end. Either way the trainer seemed strong, and a low rumble in her chest let Church know her opinion without communication.

Hanako was one of the last ones off her ferry when it arrived at Discovery Island. She had wanted to avoid the worst of the crowd and she had no interest in rushing. The train station wasn't exactly going anywhere and she would have plenty of time to explore the island later. She sat down with Riven on the first empty bench she could find. Alatus remained coiled tight around her, his head resting on her shoulder while he observed the different trainers and Pokemon in the area. "There are a lot of people here." She whispered to her Pokemon. Riven was focused on the Tyrantrum further down the shore, trying to work out how exactly that was going to fit on the train. She didn't notice that Hana had spoken at all until the Ekans hissed in agreement. The Sirene quickly nodded despite not knowing what it was Hanako had said. "This place is really pretty though." Hanako smiled and sat back, careful not to accidentally squish Alatus in the process. "I'm glad we came here." If the rest of the park were as nice as the entrance, this could end up being an amazing vacation.

It was a good thing she did read the invitation, and had Aviabra do a bit of research, they weren’t kidding when they referred to this place as a ‘tropical paradise’. Rhienne hadn’t traveled to too many places, and Johto as a whole was usually a more temperate and mild climate, but already having had Absolem teleport her to this docking place outside of the Galar Region, tropical was right, and she had dressed accordingly. A pair of boots, some shorts, a black lace cardigan over a wide shoulder tank top… It was a little less covered than she liked to be normally, but goodness if it didn’t already prove to be the right answer with how warm it was in this area. She even had to bring out her second pair of glasses that had the sun shading lenses, to change from regular glasses inside to sunglasses outside because it was so sunny and she wasn’t sure if this was going to be an all outside all the time endeavor, it was best to be prepared.
Sitting beside her, watching the ferry move over the water, Aviabra was excited about what this exclusive discovery island would hold and that they were going to be one of the first visitors ever. It was an exciting prospect, just as just about everything else was to her, and she couldn’t wait to see what this was all about. Was it some kind of theme park? Was it some kind of expedition? Would there be a prize for being one of the first ones to visit? Maybe they’d get to do an interview about what it was like to be so exclusive? The possibilities were limitless!
It didn’t take too long a couple of hours maybe, and the ferry came to a stop at a set of docks, and sure enough this was in fact an island in the middle of nowhere. Rhienne stood from her seat with Aviabra, and they came out of the ferry, starting to head towards the main portion of the park. The invitation had said that once everyone who was expected to had arrived that some head of Operations would come to greet them, so if there were still people trying to get here, maybe that hadn’t happened yet and she might be early.

Rhienne was doing her best to leave her feelings of misgiving and resentment behind her, again, at least for now. Wattson was right, this was just a distraction, a way to duck out at the last minute, again, from looking to challenge Clair. As much as Rhienne felt that she didn’t deserve that opportunity, she especially didn’t want to answer the question that would come if she did challenge Clair, what now? What was she supposed to do if she challenged and won, what was she supposed to do if she challenged and lost? Does she try again, would she care to try again? Does she go to another region for another set of badges? Does she set her badge case down and forget it for the rest of forever? And how was she supposed to keep pressing on with any of this when she was still struggling with being given back years of her life and memory… If this discovery island was a momentary pause from all of that, a distraction and a way for her to push all of that aside, if only for a little bit, then so be it.
”So, I don’t think we’re there yet, it looks like we have to take a train too,” Aviabra spoke after a moment, and Rhienne glanced down at the psychic type beside her.
”What makes you say that,” Rhienne questioned, that seemed redundant, to have to take a boat AND a train in order to get to this place?
”Wow, get out of your head. Do you see anything around here? All there is is more path, and then a train over there,” Aviabra questioned, looking up to Rhienne then as they stopped, Rhienne must have been really distracted to not be paying attention that there was actually nothing around them still except for a path forward towards this train track. Rhienne glanced around for a moment behind her glasses, she had been thinking through a lot and just kind of walking… There wasn’t really much in front of them yet except for a solid black Ninetales with a white furred face that was walking towards them? Rhienne’s ears twitched atop her head, flattening then as she and Aviabra were approached, but sitting on the Ninetales was an older lady who started with an exclamation of Rhienne’s energy.
”Oh, I, uh, thanks? I- Someone’s aura isn’t usually the first thing that someone notices about another person,” Rhienne replied, a bit taken aback, but not upset by any means. She had never had someone compliment her aura before, not in the same way that someone would compliment someone’s hair or their clothes… It was actually… Nice? She liked to think that her aura was what allowed her to be so intune with the supernatural ways of the world, just like her mother… She’d have to ask Wattson though, if the color tints were actually correct? Then the woman went on to say about how impressive she must be as a trainer? It was like she somehow knew all of the most controversial things to say all at once with what Rhienne was going through right now?
”Well-I, I’m not sure if I would say all of that, but at this point I’d like to hope so,” Rhienne returned, she didn’t feel like she could accept all of this praise the way that she’d been acting recently and the way that she had been handling things, but this stranger didn’t need to know that.
”Who are you? Are you some kind of psychic,” Aviabra questioned then, looking up at the lady that sat atop the Ninetales, how could this lady out of nowhere possibly know these things and have things to say about Rhienne’s energy and everything? The Medicham was both confused and intrigued, she wanted to know more about this stranger! Her question though caught the woman in a short apology, and then an introduction.
”Don’t feel like you have to entertain her… It’s nice to meet you Romara,” Rhienne mentioned, glancing down at Aviabra, she didn’t want this nice older woman to think that Aviabra was interrogating her for one reason or another.
”I’m Rhienne Virray… And thank you, for the kind things you said. I… haven’t really heard things like that in a while,” she admitted after a moment, she was genuinely thankful for the unprompted kindness of this stranger.
”I’m Aviabra,” the Medicham introduced for herself, though she looked around the Ninetales that stood tall before them, looking at the train in the near distance.
”I think we should get on the train, maybe not sure how long it would take for the next one to come by,” the psychic mentioned, eager to keep things going to see what this place was all about.

 Roma smiled calmly at the woman's words, deciding she rather liked this young woman.
"Oh normally I don't bother mentioning such things as energies, especially when meeting someone for the first time, but I simply couldn't resist. Yours is truly one of a kind." She explained, seeming a little embarrassed by her own brashness a moment ago. "I'm not sure if it's the same thing as an Aura per say, I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting someone capable of reading those to tell me." She added with a chuckle before glancing down to the Medicham as she spoke up.
"Not at all dear, I'm in no way psychic, but there is a lot one can tell by listening to their senses and instinct. You need only trust those feelings." Roma quite enjoyed the pokemon's curiosity, it showed a never-ending room to grow after all.
"That's quite a shame. Everyone needs to hear such things once in awhile, it helps keep the spirit light. I do hope more kindness finds it's way to you dear." Roma believed everyone deserved kindness no matter who they were, and especially those who might have suffered in the past. A little rain encouraged growth, but too much... well, floods could kill rather easily.
"Oh It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Aviabra! Such a beautiful name you have."
"Oh my, I'm sorry if I delayed you too much." Roma glanced towards the train and those now heading towards it worriedly. She hoped she hadn't made the woman late!
Ash angled himself towards the train but waited for his que to start moving, unsure whether the two humans would talk along the way or say their goodbyes now. Rac and Spectra looked at each other for a moment before tilting their heads to the side almost in unison, both chalking Aviabra's words up to her being excited more than any real need to rush. Still, they knew it wouldn't do any harm to head there now, however neither one wanted to be the one to pull Roma away either.

He seemed to be puzzled at first, but that might have just been her intrusiveness. If so, she didn't care. Ridley wasn't one to concern herself with someone else's feelings. Ridley had found his eyes fairly interesting to look at, but that was about it. She could admit that he wasn't unattractive by any means, but his attitude and how he carried himself could easily tip the scale one way or another. She held her playful grin as she nodded along with him as if she were agreeing or following along. I see, I see, so it sounds like it might be exactly what I'm thinking. She again teased. She hadn't exactly admitted to what she thought he was compensating for by having the large Pokemon out at his side while on a vacation retreat. But, that was because she was considering everything. Of course, the obvious usage of that phrase, but also if he was using a big Pokemon to hide his own cowardice, or lack of strength and power? She was still considering, The truth she wouldn't tell is that she didn't have one thing she was exactly thinking. She just was ready to keep the teasing game going. He then asked if she always started a conversation that way. Ridley shrugged as she shifted her weight back, and crossed an arm over her chest to prop an arm up to talk with. " Some times I do. Sometimes I'm mean. I guess it all depends on my mood." She offered which was the actual truth. She was not against being aggressive, or letting people know how stupid she thought they were, and definitely has done so. But with this guy, she may be testing his patience but she hadn't started going for the throat yet. She didn't have much to analyze on the guy, cool eyes, white hair, pale, boring clothes. She let her eyes flick up to the Pokemon towering over them, she seemed to be much more serious. She hadn't been really wanting to anger the Pokemon, a battle around this many people probably wouldn't be the best thing. But she was still more then happy to tease the male. " So do I get a name? I should I ask the muscle here?" She asked, not one to out right ask for someone's name, or introduce herself first. By referring to the Pokemon as the muscle wasn't meant anything against the Pokemon negatively, however she was jokingly inferring that the Tyrantrum may have been the one in charge rather than the trainer. Esme still didn't appear to be paying attention by any means, while Sirene was also eyeing over the Tyrantrum. looking to see if she may have been a possible threat for attack. Themyscira didn't think she was, nor was she intimidated by the Pokemon. She didn't see the Pokemon as a threat merely because she couldn't imagine that the large Pokemon or the trainer would try to start a battle here surrounded by people in such a small place. That being said, while she may have had the home field advantage being so close to the ocean, she wouldn't volunteer to start a battle with the Pokemon. Behind her, Delphine was also watching the tyrantrum, and couldn't help but notice her eying them over, Delphine followed her eyes and gave her an awkward smile, as a 'I am friendly and mean no harm' to the Pokemon. A lot could happen while on an island and Delphine was not about to make an enemy with a big bitch like her. Delphine then made the motion of biting something, and then pointed to Esme's back. Trying to make it clear that she should go for that psychic first. However without looking up, she reached back and slapped Delphine's hand away from pointing at her. " Stop that." She spoke in her overtly posh accent. Delphine's face dropped as she recoiled her paw, only for her to try and contain her laughter of being caught. Themyscira looked back and gave her a sly smile, as if she approved of Esme being the sacrificial lamb of the group. " " Where: Ballroom.

The wait for the train was getting a bit tiring. How many more trainers were about to come and why it's taking them so long? In a way he understood what the man (who drove him to the Isle of Armor) told him - bringing all invited people on one boat would save a lot of trouble. Well, he might as well take a moment to have a better look at the other people.
The girl who arrived just before him had a Tyrunt and a funny looking purple Pokemon - it was kind of cute. She had long white hair, and looked like a teen - neither young or old one. He wasn't too keen on interacting with people that much younger than him - Vale rarely ever was able to keep back his tongue. Surprisingly, she wasn't the only person with white hair - there were two more. That dude with a black Tyrantrum and a girl on an Arcanine. A bit weird combination, and he couldn't help but wonder if they were related in a way. From this distance he couldn't distinguish their facial features and eyes, and just from hair it was impossible to tell. And maybe asking either of them directly wasn't a smart idea. There was another girl, with also bright hair but not white, and she also had a Sirene. Those must been a lot more common than he thought, huh. And then there was an elderly woman riding on a Ninetales, sided by two, peculiar looking Pokemons. Alright, that was... a thing.
Well, it was a hell of a group so far. And he was already bored.
So far he only saw one 'conversation' happen - besides his short exchange with the other woman, some blonde and that white-haired man were talking. Or flirting, judging by how she looked and stood. Well, apparently even special occasions like this won't stop some people from pursuing.. whatever they wanted out of other people. Not that he wouldn't do that either - but so far there is only one man, and he wasn't necessarily fitting his taste. Hell, he didn't seem to be that tall either - ignoring the showing off a big Pokemon to either compensate for whatever he was lacking (and there were many possibilities), or intimidate others and be a jerk. Vale liked men with strong personalities, but not when they were going overboard with it.
But he must admit that the Tyrantrum was actually really pretty, and most likely very strong. Still, the way their trainer had it follow him like a guard dog and clearly trying to make people get out of their way, was making him just annoyed.
He could swore he looked away for a moment, and then his Dewott wandered off. Not too much, but it was clear as day he was going in the fossil's direction. Why, Vale had no idea - Caspian rarely ever displayed such need for exploration without an order. If anything, he would expect something like that from his Zoroark.
"Now is not the time-" he hissed, as he followed his Pokemon. Honestly, he wasn't sure if it was directed at his Pokemon or at them. So far the Tyrantrum seemed fairly chill and just looking around or at woman's Pokemons, but Dewott was tiny compared to them.
Actually, an idea sparked in his mind. A bit risky one, since it might end up with him either getting punched (which he will return and maybe see if the man could actually do something on his own), being ignored (not the worst option, really) or getting eaten by the Tyrantrum (worst option, but that might as well force Oberon out to avenge him). The third way was the one he wanted to avoid most, obviously, even though he would want to see the man's face at the sight of Palkia. But not now - it was too early and Vale wasn't like him. He was better.
And that's what he will keep telling himself, as he straightened himself and at fine, steady and confident pace he approached the 'pair'. Now, whether or not they were actually 'going for it', it wasn't his business. But he was in a mood.
"You have got a pretty impressive Tyrantrum there, and I admit, it was an effective entrance. But that probably didn't work out as you wanted, did it? So far no one is trembling in fear at your sight." he hummed from the start with a slight grin. Not too y, but not too kind either. A fine in-between, even though it was already long for an 'introduction'. "At the very last they are the ones standing behind you, and not the other way around. Maybe there is still hope it's not all you can do to show off."
He was well aware he was interrupting, so he probably should apologize. Or not.
"Don't worry your pretty head, I won't steal her from you." he then said with a somewhat amused tone. For the most part that was only a joke - the man really wasn't his type, just from the hair color alone. But he eyed him anyways, before looking to the woman. "And I won't steal him from you, either. If he were taller, then maybe? And Tyrantrum isn't making up for it, sadly, regardless of how strong they look."
In the meantime, Dewott was cautiously eyeing the black fossil Pokemon. He wasn't that scared - mostly from being used to train and live with something much bulkier. He was mostly curious, his whiskers pointing forward.. and well, he didn't want to get squished still. Maybe it had something to do with them both having odd colors (to be fair, Caspian was a regular Shiny, and he wasn't sure what the hell happened to Tyrantrum's scales), or their weirdly enough shared Dragon-type. Church was finding that this woman was a little like Freya. Too bad it was only the bad qualities that were the same though. Still, it was enough to make him put up with the attitude for now, if only because he thought it might lead to a little amusement. Luckily he was in an ok mood today so long as his anger remained dormant. He had no wishes to cause a scene and rise suspicion only moments after arriving. That would only make his goals more troublesome.
"Think what you like, I'm not bothered by it." His smirk remained despite her words, his own confidence taking the sting right out of them. If he was compensating, well, it was likely for a lack of empathy and restraint.
"My name is Church Blackburn, and just what do I call you?" Judging by her Delphox he assumed she wasn't familiar enough with Galar to know about FSL, so giving his name shouldn't hold any real consequences. Still, it was a small risk, but he felt rather bold today to say the least.
He was about to ask her what she wanted from him when another voice came from his side. What now? Church glanced beside them to find yet another person that had approached them. Church had grown so used to no one wanting anything to do with Lilith that he hadn't considered the opposite, that people would approach because of her. Still, it wasn't enough to make him return her to her pokeball. She had just as much right to be out as their pokemon did.
"I'd be rather disappointed if everyone trembled from a mere Tyrantrum. Those that do shouldn't be trainers to begin with." He replied simply with a shrug, studying the man evenly. Lilith, however, wasn't as calm as Church. She was getting the feeling that she had somehow made things more difficult for him, and in turn that made her nervous and frustrated. She let out a low growl before a twitch from Church's hand silenced her almost as soon as it had left her throat. Rebuked, she looked back to the girl's pokemon to distract herself from the humans, only to notice the little cyan pokemon bellow her. She lowered her head carefully and sniffed the little thing, partially amused that such a little pokemon had approached her. It had guts at least, and that she could respect well enough.
Meanwhile, Church kept his composure despite the man's taunting words. He found the comment about his height more amusing than annoying, mostly due to the fact that it came from a shorter man. Though even Church would admit he wasn't taller by much. Still, it was enough.
"You two sure like making assumptions. She isn't my largest pokemon, nor do I think she should spend our vacation in a pokeball because others might feel threatened. Frankly, I couldn't give less shits about that. She is what she is." He crossed his arms over his chest and simply shrugged. "Think whatever you want, though." Internally, Church could feel a little spark of annoyance in his chest, but he pushed it down. Drawing ill attention so soon was a bad idea, even if he thought his fist might look nice in the rude man's gut. He had been itching for a fight ever since loosing to Adam, but he knew now was not the time. Not only did he have a literal stab wound under his shirt, of which he didn't want to pop a stitch and deal with that hassle, but he didn't want to get kicked out either. For now he would play nice.

The ferry ride went much the same as the flight had. Kiro was repeatedly returned and released from his Pokeball so he could hang out with the others between tests. She returned him for the last time towards the end of the ferry ride. Elfana grinned and held up her Pokedex for Cypress to see. There was a detailed list of the contents of the box Kiro carried. She had even gotten it to register the size and weight of each item. Elfana took a moment to admire her own work...then immediately deleted it. She would need to add something similar to the old program to her Pokedex later. "I'll never be able to go through a security checkpoint again if that ever gets out." Her Pokedex was entirely isolated so none of the modifications she made to it should be visible to anyone but her. They had gotten through once before however so she wasn't about to take any chances. Kiro was let out of his Pokeball once more and the box was taken from him. She shoved it into her bag right as the ferry came to a stop at the dock.
Elfana stretched her arm above her head and yawned after stepping on to the dock. "It's nice to be on solid ground." She enjoyed the ocean and flying but it was nice to stretch her legs after sitting for so long. Several trainers had arrived ahead of them. She took a moment to observe some of the Pokemon before looking towards the trains. No movement there. She assumed they were waiting for more guests to arrive before taking people into the park. "Ah. Looks like we've got to wait a bit." That was fine. That gave her a chance to study some of the Pokemon the other trainers had brought with them. She moved away from the dock to avoid getting in the way of any other incoming guests before letting Pantalaimon out of his Pokeball. "You can go play but try to remain close. And don't bother any-" The Turtwig cheered and ran off before she had a chance to finish speaking. "Of course." She wasn't going to scold him for it so long as he stayed where she could see him. He’d made easy work of getting there just in time for what looked like a ferry to cross them over the ocean, and while he’d be daft to board another vessel typically, he understood that it was for the best after all since he had actually never seen this island before. He was a master navigator, and between himself and Vitus they could travel the entire ocean without getting lost, but he would swallow his pride for now. The rules of this place were rather particular, and the pirate had his reservations about what it was requesting, only having with him three Pokemon due to the ‘sensitive nature’ of this facility. He couldn’t quite fathom what that meant really, but he wasn’t above following a set of rules in order to make things amicable, though he made sure that he was covered if things called for it. Bade remained with him, the wyvern ever present in the forefront of his mind, seeing through his eyes as he let her, and Vitus of course was his first mate, he was to come with him as well. It was a tough decision whom his last member would be, Archimedes would have loved to take a trip like this, but Finn felt that he needed to spend some more time with young Osilvey over all, the little water skipper had done so much good work with him over the last little while, he deserved to have a fun time.
And so it was, Osilvey was out with him as he’d boarded the ferry, and not too much longer after the two were disembarking to make land on the docks of this island. She had no other reason to say something other than it sounded like she just really felt the need to, and that was one of the most genuine things that Rhienne had encountered in a long time.
”Auras and energy are all very similar, more so than some would think. You could have said you can see my aura outright and I would have believed you,” Rhienne joked lightly, the way Romara had seemed to sure about it, there was no way Rhienne would have thought to refute it in that moment.
”I don’t know… You could be a psychic and just not say anything… I’ll buy it either way,” Aviabra questioned momentarily, eyeing the older woman for a moment. She herself would be none the wiser, she couldn’t sense those things for herself, she certainly was not in touch with those kinds of forces and powers within herself in order to know if someone had the same capabilities that she should. At this point though, the older woman could say anything she wanted, Aviabra beamed at the complement of her name.
”Thank you! I do have a beautiful name, you’re so nice,” the Medicham was delighted.
Side eyeing Aviabra for her impatience of wanting to get things moving, Rhienne was glad at least that Romara didn’t seem too off put by her excitement, but goodness if it didn’t sound like Aviabra was about ready to shove everyone onto the train herself.
”Aviabra, we’ve got time, it’s not like we’re late or anything,” Rhienne returned, starting to follow along with the Ninetales that carried Roma, and the two Charmeleon that she had with her.
”Your Pokemon are all so vibrant, I’ve never seen anything like them,” she commented, but deeper down she wanted to continue to find anything and everything that she could to shower this woman with gratitude for her comments. She didn’t look like she had anything heavy she was carrying, and her Pokemon were tending to her well enough… Rhienne just really wanted to do anything to show this woman how much she appreciated her kindness…
”Please, don’t take this as a rude question, but the invitation said that registered trainers were the focus group… You’ve got to be like a regional champion or high class gym leader, right” she asked then, really curious though about how an older woman like Romara might have fallen into the classification of “trainer”. Surely she had more experience than Rhienne could ever dream to achieve, and would be a true force to try and square up against.
