Ridley kept her eyes on the sky, making sure that she wasn't going to get scooped up like the girl she had seen get dropped. That got her mind going. She looked to Themyscira and considered her options. If the blonde that was dropped into the tree turned out okay and had Pokemon that would make for more fire power. Normally she wouldn't care but there as a certain power that came with numbers. " Themyscira, while it's in the air, go check on the person that it dropped into the trees." Ridley told, pointing in Sonia's direction. The Sirene did not have to be asked twice. In the trees she would have cover that the others didn't. The rushed off while Ridley looked back to see the Fossil swooping down for an attack. It brought a large gust that caused Ridley to have to hold onto her hood, which she also used to shield her eyes from the splashing puddles. When she looked back, she found that the Sobble had been scratched. While Esme used this moment to utilize her own pool stick. Instead of using her fists, she brought down it's point on any part of this Pokemon she could. She had aimed for it's side. Jabbing it with all her might before getting knocked back with it's swift movements. She moved back as quickly as she could and watched the Bird return to the sky as Church began to throw more stuff at it. Ridley and Esme hadn't noticed but Roslyn had grabbed onto the Pokemon and was riding on it's talon in the air. Who did notice was Delphine. "Oh my god!" The fox shouted as she clasped her free paw on her snout in fear. " You bring her back down you giant flying type thing!" Delphine added as she joined Briar in throwing rocks at the prehistoric Pokemon. Meanwhile, Themyscira made her way into the small tree line where the person had been dropped. " Uh... Hello? Are you still alive?" The sirene called out, looking up into the tree. Themyscira wasn't much of a climber, but she was able to grab onto a lower branch and pull herself up using her tentacles to get a better vantage point to see if the person had gotten stuck in the tree. Mocha Elfy White Prince Of WonderlandHaving already missed out on one meal, now that it was free and able to roam the skies, the Anisopteryx wasn't about to miss out on the smaller targets that it had found, despite the difficulty that it was having thus far. Swooping before and trying to break apart the group, the flier screeched at being struck in the side by the assaulting pool stick, but otherwise it came up unscathed as it was able to swiftly miss the snatching jaws of the larger Pokemon that was still trying to get in the way. The Anisopteryx made easy, and simple work of getting out of reach of the snapping jaws, careful to keep one of its four eyes on the potential for harm while it looked down at the rest of the group. It paid little mind to the small creature now latched to its leg, in fact it used its other talon to scratch at its foot in an attempt to alleviate what it might have been feeling, all the while it hissed and glared down at the group of potential food. Soon though more objects came sailing through the air at it, and the Anisopteryx's wings folded its fins to form a more solid surface, and with dexterous movement and ease of staying airborn, it started to swing back at the assaulting rocks, hitting them back at the ground with each forceful strike.
Thus far the day had been trying and difficult, and after having fallen into the trees, Sonia was really only trying to bide her time and really assess what she needed to do in the situation. She was exhausted from being stuck at the top of the roller coaster for as long as she had been, and then she picked right back up with the adrenaline of being snatched into the air and then dropped into a group of trees. She still clutched her Yamper closely, she wasn't willing to let go of him, and over all she was really just trying to make sure she was okay enough to start working out how to move forward. She hadn't noticed really that her attacker had stuck around, the smooth and even sound of the rain around her was helping her focus on something else and calm down, but when she heard a call from beneath her in the trees, Sonia blinked and Yamper yipped quietly, trying to get Sonia's attention.
"I'm okay Yamper, we're okay right now," she breathed after a moment, having felt like she hadn't taken a full breath in ages, and she was finally starting to take stock of her position in the trees. The call beneath them did hold Yamper's attention, and he barked again, this time louder, calling back as he started to move tentatively, trying to look down and find what was coming to them, his bright yellow fur striking against the tree line backdrop.

Briar had a plan. It wasn't a good plan by any means. She wasn't sure it would even work. Something on the island blocked Pokemon abilities. She just hoped natural processes in a Pokemon's body didn't count as "abilities". "Rosalyn, cry!" She yelled up to her Sobble. When Sobbles cried, everything around them cried with them. Flying would be difficult for the bird if it was stuck crying uncontrollably. "Cry?" The Sobble blinked then frowned. If Briar thought it would help somehow then she would go along with. Who knows how many feet in the air attached to a fossil wasn't exactly the best place to try arguing. "Sad thoughts! Think sad thoughts!" Not being able to take on more gyms with Briar, not learning new words from her Delphox friend, not getting to ride on Slate's back...this big, mean bird monster eating her friends so all the things she liked can't happen anymore! A small whimper escaped the Sobble before the tears began to flow. She really hated crying.

Esme was able to do some good decent damage, she hoped at least. Looking around herself, it would seem that they may actually do good. At least, her and Church. Briar seemed fairly nice, and Ridley was more than thankful that she was now wearing the oversized hoodie she gave her. But this poor girl was not going to help much with her Sobble. Ridley was concerned the flying prehistoric Pokémon would realize it has a small bite sized snack on its ankle. Ridley hoped not, Delphine had already grown attached to the little thing, she didn't want the fox to have to mourn a new friend. Ridley looked over to her Sirene who had been helping the blonde in the tree, and seemed to be succeeding. But her attention was snapped back to the battle as the ground shook beneath her. Ridley stumbled on the wet ground with her high heeled boots. But she was quick to regain her balance as she saw the aftermath of the large Pokemon's jump. Ridley was surprised that Lilithe pulled it off, whiile Delphine had her own words. "Hell Yeah! Chew up that thing!" Delphine cheered the Tyrantrum on. They were on the same side now, so she was a little less fearful of the friendlier fossil Pokemon. She wanted to make sure to stay on her good side if she had the chance. As she watched the rocks get knocked back to their Pokemon, she looked to Emse. Normally she could psychic the Pokemon down to them to attack, but now she didn't have much she could really do. But Emse already had a plan. The posh Pokemon was a bit more... Enapt then Ridley gave her for. Esme began to run, but she ran for Lilith. Ridley was going to mention for her to stop, but the psychic type was on a mission. She ran up the back side of the large carnivore, gripping her pool cue very tightly. She was very lucky she timed it right, as once she reached the top of the t-rex's head she gave one final jump, whielding the ppol cue over her head as she let out an obnoxious war cry and stabbed the pool cue into the bird's thigh. She used the pool cue to hang on as she stood on the bird's talons. "Fossils are so 'IN' lately, but dying to a fossil is always 'OUT' dear." The gothitelle spoke to the Sobble who may have been hanging on for her dear life. Her posh voice sounding a bit gruffer from the physical feat she had just accomplished. Delphine's mouth had fallen open at the sheer audacity of the psychic, but was ripped from her cheerleading duties as she saw Rowl's expression She drifted to the side, keeping an eye on Rosalyn and the rebounding Rocks. "You know, I appreciate you standing to protect us." She spoke to him quietly trying not to draw attention to his clearly mean trainer. Themyscira off to the side spotted the blonde moving. Good she wasn't dead. She climbed up a few of the easier and lower branches to get a better view point at the woman and her Yamper. "Oh good, you're okay" The sirene commented, letting out her own sigh of relief. She was finding it easier to climb than she thought, using her tentacles to climb the tree and hold her safely. "Are you able to climb down? I can try and help?" The sirene offered, but did not sound confident in her offer of help. She looked back out to the bird and then back to the blonde. "My trainer and I just think you would be safer if you were down on the ground with that thing attacking" She commented trying to let the woman know the urgency of her need to climb down. Elfy White Prince Of Wonderland MochaThe larger pokemon of the group made another lunge into the air and slashed with it's teeth, getting the edge of a wing caught in it's grasp. The Anisopteryx shrieked as it recoiled at the pain, and knew then that it needed to get it's meal sooner rather than later. Now the flier was just angry, lofting as it adjusted to the shredded edge of it's wing, and screeched at its attackers as it had finished striking back the rocks that were thrown through the air. There was little concern that the creature gave for what was still attached to its talons, it could hardly feel the small Pokemon, but as it began to cry, that only made the Anisopteryx shriek with raised jowls and a furious flurry of its wings. Then one of its four eyes caught movement coming towards it, then a piercing pain filled its leg, as it had been struck by an object and something was clinging to its other leg below. Now the Anisopteryx was distressed and furious as it started to flail in the air, slashing with its talons beneath it and flapping with its wide wings in an attempt to move away from the pain. It gave a hard and heavy flap of its wings as it rose further into the air, and then dipped into a vertical spinning dive, aiming to remove whatever had struck it from its legs.
Within the dripping branches and leaves of the trees, Sonia had started tentatively moving among the branches that caught her when her Yamper started to stir, something obviously having caught his attention. She thought the worst at first, and surely didn’t want to garner unwanted attention from anything below, but Yamper seemed pleased, and then she could actually hear a voice over the wind and rain as something was getting closer to her. She turned as much as she dared to look down, and saw a strange Pokemon she was not familiar with climbing up towards her with the use of its tentacles, but it spoke in regards to its trainer and how it might be best that they were not in a tree.
”Thank you for coming to help…,” Sonia spoke then, but she was being careful of her movements, she didn’t know how high up she was as she hadn’t been able to look down, and the last thing she wanted to do was break any already cracked tree branches with her movement. She tried to think quickly, how best to approach this, when she started to shift Yamper around.
”Here, take him first, please, if I move I don’t know if branches are going to break, I can’t catch us both,” Sonia spoke then, starting to help Yamper down with one arm so that he could go first, before she would start to move and asses how strong, or not, her surrounding branches were.

 Lilith froze for a moment as she felt something run up her back, but recovered as she realized their plan and gave a toss of her head at the last minute to propel the smaller pokemon up at the flying pokemon. She would have some choice words for the Gothitelle later, but for now their goal was the same. Destroy the threat. Not wanting to be outdone, Lilith gave a roar and rushed forward as the pokemon dove. Wrong move, birdy. She thought as she took another leap just as it entered her range, this time aiming for it's good wing and feeling the satisfying slice of her fangs in flesh. As she landed she stumbled and gave a growl of pain, too heavy for her leaping to not do damage eventually. Still, she tried to ignore the pain in her ankle as she turned once more and roared at the flying beast in rage.
Rowl blinked and glanced at the Delphox, a little surprised at her words.
"Oh, no problem, wish I was more help." He stumbled over his words a little before glancing down. "Truth is I'm my master's weakest inner circle member... I'm not strong like Lilith, or calm like Klutch... This is really the least I can do.." He added, wringing the pool cue in his hands before looking at the other pokemon apologetically.

Sure Esme was her least priority out of Delphine and Themyscira, but she was literally on the beast. She was clinching her given hoodie's hood tightly as her newest Pokémon hung onto the beast. Ridley was sure this would really earn her some unwanted attention from the beast. Ridley was right as it began to claw and slash at it's ankle. Esme was hit, but she held on strong. Esme was ready to begin a quick lesson on what was in and what was out, as the fossil took a sudden dive downwards. She held onto her pool cue and gave it a good punch to try and drive it in the Pokémon's leg further, to better stability. This would have worked, hand it not entered a death spiral. Esme watched the Sobble slide off and mix with the blurry surroundings as she whirled around the beast. She was able to hold on only seconds longer, as with her weight and the spiral, she was flung from the large bird pulling her pool cue out with her. Thankfully she had held on as long as she did, and was closer to the ground as she landed at an angle and tumbled. She tried to roll back and manage to get on her feet, but because of her dress, she was unable to stop herself as she tumbled further and slid to a stop against the stone ground. Ridley moved a few steps closer but knew the fossil could swoop back down at any time. " Esme, you okay?" Ridley shouted, if she didn't respond Ridley would go in and pull her out. But the Gothitelle began to stir and get up. " That was the most 'OUT' thing I've ever done." Esme groaned as she forced herself onto her feet. Delphine listened to the Toxictricty's words, and she couldn't help but feel bad for the Pokémon's situation. Ridley was mean, but Del had seen that when she warms up to the team member she's good to them. Sure she bullies and ridicules them, but she does that to everyone. But Del had learned that Ridley cared about them. Hearing him explain this made her not like the new male they had been traveling with. " Well you're helping us. That's help enough!" Del explained to him, She put her free hand on her hip. " Well being the 'weakest'-" She started, using air quotes on 'weakest' " of the inner circle is still better then being outer circle." Del explained, trying to aggressively compliment the Pokémon. " Besides, do you really want to be fighting that thing?" She asked him pointing to the beast that they were all fighting. The blonde finally has addressed the Sirene. She may have been in shock or she might not have heard her. The woman was thankful of her help, and was concerned that her fall may have weakened the tree enough to break the branch and fall. She asked if she could take the Yamper so she could effectively climb down. The Sirene agreed, regrettably. She climbed a bit higher so the woman could pass the canine down easier, as she eased herself a bit lower again. As she did, she held the Yamper close, ableing it to start licking her in the face in thanks. " Okay-yup-You're welcome. You're cute but please stop." She spoke holding the canine a little further, but as he stopped licking her she offered him a good scratch on his head with her claws to calm him. She didn't like being licked, or most creatures that licked licking, but she understood that it must have been pretty scary for the little thing. Themyscira moved the canine to her side and offered a hand to help the human climb down if she needed. If so she would help and give her stability as they made their way down the tree. The sirene's weight was much more distributed than the human's with her tentacles, so she could see how the human would have more trouble. [Esme used Punch! -108 damage!] " " Where: Ballroom.

Mocha Elfy White Prince Of WonderlandFinishing its dive as it spiraled towards the ground, the Anisopteryx relieved itself of the intrusions on its legs and talons with ease. It threw out its heavy wings to level out in knowing that it had rid itself of whatever was hanging on, and moved to sweep back up into the air, but the larger Pokemon caught the edges of its other wing in its jowls. The flier screeched, it’s taut membrane still not giving in to any stress tearing, but it both wings injured was daunting. Now it was fuming, shrieking with raised jowls as it came down on the ground now for the first time, its size still imposing as it stood on its legs and hunched onto the clawed shoulders of its wings. Its yellow eyes honed in on the larger beast, and it charged. In spite on not being built for land, it was still dextrous enough to pursue its target, rushing over the ground and sweeping through the gathered group of trainers and pokemon. It bore its head forward, the large, pronounced blue crest on its head poised for a strike, and it thrust itself at the Tyrantrum and struck. Their crests were known for their durability, their sharpness, these were their most pronounced weapon against their own kind for territory, and at this point the Anisopteryx was down to its most base natural instincts of survival and combat. Making its strike, it moved to start back into the air, shrieking at the torn edges of its wings, but fighting with its strength all the same.
Carefully handing down Yamper from her spot in the tree, Sonia waited for a moment for him and the strange Pokemon to get situated before she mustered the courage to move. She still didn’t know how high up she was, and really didn’t want to do any more falling today… Yamper was situated, he sat on the hip of the Pokemon that had come to help them, panting though in his nervousness as he looked up to Sonia, hoping that they would be able to get out of the tree okay.
”Okay, alright, here we go,” Sonia breathed after a moment, forcing herself to start moving, and she did so as carefully as she could but as swiftly as she dared. Already from her fall and with her moving weight, she heard snaps and creaks in the branches around her, wincing at each one, but so far she didn’t feel like anything was about to give way…
”Thank you for coming to help… I hope everyone is okay…,” Sonia began to speak, moving and starting to situate herself so that she could start to climb down, when there was a very definitive snap and she froze in that moment. She stumbled then, but only just as a branch gave out from her arm as she was shifting her weight, but still nothing serious.
”I really don’t want to do any more falling than I already have,” she breathed then, moving again then to start the climb down.

Not so much to keep him quiet, but she was trying to keep the little electric type from panicking or moving to much. It would not be good if she drops this woman's dog. The woman seemed nice, and was wishing everyone else well. The sirene looked back to the battle, having to lean a bit to get a glimpse at the battle with the large Pokemon, luckily it was on the ground so their own fossil could start taking chunks out of it. '' Well, luckily we have a large set of teeth on our side of the field, so it looks like we're holding out own against the thing." The Sirene offered looking back to the blonde, as the snapping occurred. She had to grasp onto the yamper with both arms to hold him, but she quickly held out her tentacles encase she came tumbling down. " No, we wouldn't want any more falling to happen, so lets just go as slow as you need," She offered in her most soothing voice she could muster. Normally she could just sing her a song that might make her forget the danger and have her climb down easier, but thanks to the barrier she was helpless. Mocha Elfy White Prince Of WonderlandMustering what it could, given it's circumstances, the Anisopteryx had made it's fight to get back into the air, and while it did seem like it would be able to fly still given the good tears in the edges of its wings, the beast hung and wavered in the air for a moment before coming back down. It landed hard on the ground, breathing heavily from the vents in its chest, and it screeched as its jowls folded back with abject ferocity. It needed to pick out the smaller links of the group so it could at least make out with something, and that's what it intended to do as it moved over the ground again, swiping in any which direction with its wings and throwing around its head. The fossil made sure to swing and strike at the larger Pokemon among them with its crest, slashing again to pose its force, and made sure to get in a few more hits were it could.
Maneuvering so as not to disturb the dreaded snap that disrupted the branches around her, Sonia continued slowly through the branches guided by the strange Pokemon that had come to assist her and Yamper. The electric type was content enough for the moment, every so often lapping at the rain that came over the fur of his jowls, but he was certainly quiet and a bit didn't move much, the entirety of their given situation had surely shaken up the dog and he was going to have a lot of reservations about what had happened.
"I have heard something out there that sounded like another fossil maybe, interesting that someone would bring another fossil Pokemon along to a place like this," Sonia commented, purely trying to dilude herself now from climbing down the tree since the curious Pokemon had continued to speak with her.
"We should try to see if we can't get away from it, after we're out of the tree... There's no use trying to fight it off and keep getting hurt, especially if more of those things try and come around. I can't be of much help in the battle... But I can at least try to help get everyone to safety," she commented, working her way through the branches and daring a glance down, and she sighed at knowing that they were nearly there at the bottom, just a little bit more.

Briar began struggling against Slate's hold on her. She had been okay with it before her Sobble decided to climb on top of the fossil. Now she needed to try to grab her before it ate her! The Arcanine let her go but immediately pressed a paw against her stomach and nudged her back again. He crouched low, preparing to jump for the Sobble if it looked like the fossil was going to try to eat her. He stood a far better chance against the ancient bird than Briar did.

She had helped Esme back onto her feet, but that was the extent of her help. This thing was a beast, and could murder any one of them if it got it's teeth on them. Ridley half considered turning tail and running, letting Church and Blair take on the battle. The only thing stopping her each time she went to run with her Pokemon was what little warmth she could feel from the hoodie she was given. Sure now, it was soaked, and there for she was getting wet underneath. But it's more warmth then she would be feeling without it. Plus running around in the rain with the likes of Church in a white top wasn't exactly a fun idea. Maybe she could grab the woman's arm and make a run for it and leave Church? One favor for another, she knew Themyscira and Esme wouldn't need to be convinced to leave, but she would have to drag Del out now that she was making friends. How would Briar's Pokemon handle running... She knew the girl wouldn't return or leave without them. She didn't have too long to ponder as the beast landed and began to swing about the field. Slamming into both Esme and Lilith. The hit knocked Esme backwards and onto the ground. Ridley knew the strange Gothitelle was energetic and hard to knock down. But she was down know, and clearly was having a hard time getting back up. She let out a groan as she tried to did what she could to get herself back up. "Being shoved into a puddle is the least INist thing all day. This is positively OUT!" She shouted angrily as she huffed getting back to her feet with a wobble. She grit her teeth angrily as she looked at the bird. "You better be glad I'm wearing black or I would have you for thanksgiving!" She threatened as she javelin threw her pool cue at the bird.
The Sirene nodded her head as she pretended to listen to the blonde. She leered at the canine in her arms, as she leaned back to look through the tree branches at the large prehistoric Pokemon. This woman continuously blathered on rather than just climb down. Sure things were scary for humans, but she needed to hurry herself up. Themyscira would have grabbed the blonde with one of her tentacles and yanked her down if she thought it would actually work. But with the handicap the island put on her she was worried she'd drop the woman. As annoyed as she was, she didn't want to risk further hurting the woman. She really had her own self to blame, telling the woman to take her time rather then rushing her. Maybe she had made that mistake. But if she had rushed and slipped, Themyscira wouldn't risk injuring herself. "Yeah, real crazy." The water type spoke only half paying attention. The woman had begun to pitch ideas, possibly fleeing rather then having this stand off, and admitting she wouldn't be much help in the fight. She could already tell with the little dog on her hip. "It would be hard to our run it, but I don't think continuing to fight this thing is a good idea either." She agreed, finally getting her own legs on the ground. The first time she's ever been happy to be on land. "Though we'd have to really convince the Tyrantrum to run. I think she wants to eat it." She said with a roll of her eyes, then finally putting the dog back on the ground and offered a hand out to the woman to help her make the final steps down.[Esme used Pound! -40 damage!] " " Where: Ballroom.

Mocha Elfy White Prince Of WonderlandTurning again on the ground, its claws leaving gouges in the manicured pathway beneath it, the Anisopteryx leered at the group that had gathered. Its four eyes were sharp, focused on the movement in front of it, it’s jowls were raised exposing the razor teeth beneath, and the vents in its chest heaved with its heavy breathing, spraying mists of water at each giant breath. Having spent what it knew of its entire life separated and enclosed within the glass of the aviary, that was the only life it knew, and now being out in the open, being able to see beyond the horizon it was familiar with and go there… It as a species would have to learn how to pick its fights more efficiently, to learn where in the food chain in this expansion it was going to fit, given that up to this point it was fed systematically and only surrounded by its own species that gave no insight into what it was truly capable of except for the occasional territory dispute. The Anisopteryx was snarling still, biding its energy it looked like, but it almost looked calculating… Contemplative almost? Like it was thinking. Another rumble of thunder from the sky above, and in that still moment the Anisopteryx screeched, standing up to its full height on the shoulder of its wings and started to flap its great wings. It rose into the air, and turned away from the group it had descended upon, on to find its place on the island that was now open to its wings.
Out of all of the things that Sonia had set out to do to get her bearings as a professor and get her own studies going, athleticism and tree climbing were not at the top, but here she was having made it onto the ground and out of a harrowing situation that she wouldn’t have fathomed she could function in. Needless to say, once she’d set both of her feet on the ground, she a little bit proud of herself, wiping some water out of her face to look up at the tree, and it was farther up than she had initially thought that she could see the broken branches she’d fallen into.
”Huh, wow, that was a lot… I… I didn’t think I would be doing anything like this as a professor,” Sonia huffed then after a moment, understanding now the exhaustion that she was feeling now that she wasn’t in any immediate, imminent danger. She did flinch though at the echoing screech that came over the thunder clap in the air, only to look around the trees and find the attacking fossil lifting back into the air. She watched carefully, leaning down to grab Yamper just in case, but it looked like it was in fact leaving the area, gone from the battle.
”We need to get out of here… I don’t know if those things are social predators… We can’t risk it having friends,” Sonia said then, she had no idea what it was or anything about it, but she didn’t want to take any chances on anything.Battlers have received:

It looked them over with it's vicious expression that made Ridley a bit nervous. They have been throwing everything they could at this beast, which wasn't much with this damn island blocking their abilities. She was confident they could have taken this thing out if they had their abilities in hand. Maybe not on her own, but with the Tyrantrum and Esme. She still wasn't sure what all the Sobble was accomplishing. But the beast began to size them all up. She wasn't sure if that meant it was readying for another attack, but both Ridley and Delphine did not like it. But shortly after it's final roar the giant bird took off and left them be. She let out a sigh of relief, and returned Esme. She had taken quite a bit of damage from the bird so Ridley knew she wouldn't last too long in another tough battle. She saw Themyscira had gotten the blonde out of the tree safely and knew it was time. They were out in the open and she could see the prehistoric Pokemon starting to appear. Her eyes flicked to Church, but Ridley turned to Briar, the young woman who had allowed her to remain some what warm and dry beneath her over sized sweater. Granted it was definitely soaked through now, and she was feeling the cold water on her clothes and skin. But it was much better than nothing, as well as it had fixed her problem of her stubborn habit of wearing a white top. She was really going to have to throw them all away after this. She made her way over to Briar quickly. "Did your Sobble make it?" She asked, in her less than pleasant way of asking if she was okay.
Themyscira listened to the blonde woman as she was finally on the ground. She expressed her concern for what she had just experienced in being a Professor, which pulled the Sirene's attention. "You're a Professor, like one of THE Professors? I'm glad you're okay then!" She commented, now understanding that the woman could be useful, she was smart. The water type didn't know much about the professors or really cared, but if she could help them in the current situation she was now happy to help the woman. The Professor told them they needed to get moving, in case more showed up. "Not a bad Idea at all." She agreed and lead the professor back over to the trainers. "Listen, I dunno if he's going to try and pick fights with everything we pass, but we need to get going. We are in danger as long as we're out here in the open." Ridley commented to Briar, if Church wanted to follow she wouldn't stop them, but she wasn't going to stick around to find out if it left to get it's friend. Ridley was ready to leave weather or not Briar or this blonde was wanting to do so. Ridley was about to start getting going as there was distant rumble that cracked and filled the area. Ridley looked around herself for the source, but the sound came from all around her. She could almost feel it in the ground as the rumble continued. It was such a strange sounds, that cause Delphine's ears to perk up and flick in multiple directions. "What's that?" Delphine asked pointing skyward, as it looked like part of the sky had a hole in it. It wasn't like there was a hole into a different sky, but as if an invisible layer had a hole in it and it got bigger and bigger. " " Where: Ballroom.

Briar was certain she was going to end up in so much trouble for capturing one of the fossils. Her Sobble had already managed to avoid getting eaten once. She hadn't wanted to press her luck a second time. Instead of trying to figure out why the sky was breaking, she decided to fish a Pokeball out of her things and throw it at the Anisopteryx. She hadn't expected it to actually be caught. She had just wanted to give her Arcanine a chance to retrieve her Sobble. After some consideration she took the Pokeball from Slate and shoved it into her pocket. There were plenty of dangerous Pokemon flying around. The park wasn't going to miss one if she happened to sneak it off the island! Assuming there was a way off the island. She grabbed her Sobble off of Slate's back and frowned. "Where should we go?" Her Sobble was back and Briar was...mostly calm. She wasn't on the verge of panicking at any rate. That was more than enough for her to try to participate in the conversation. "Back inside somewhere or should we maybe move to another section of the park?" She didn't imagine anywhere else on the island would be any safer. In fact they might already be in the safest area. There were minimal Pokemon in the Arcade area compared to the others. The Arcade was built to entertain humans instead of housing Pokemon. She chose not to voice that though. As far as she was concerned, Ridley and the professor were in charge now. She wasn't about to battle any more Pokemon she didn't have to. Ridley's attention was pulled to the sky by Delphine's comment, She watched for a moment trying to figure it out.
"I don't care at this point. It's probably just a force field to keep the Prehistoric Pokemon in, and I hope they go far far away from us." Ridley spat as she turned back around. She pulled the hood down off of her head as the rain seemed to slow down, but didn't offer to give it back to Briar. Not yet. She flinched and looked back to see another giant bird flying much to close to her liking, but Briar seemed to have the right idea and just captured it without giving it time to fight. Church and Lilith picked that fight and left them to pick up the pieces. Ridley was gonna let Lilith be the snack now.
"Good idea." She commented as the other trainer joined her again. Neither trainers really knew what to do, and Briar asked if they should head inside or make a run for it. Ridley looked to the Professor, and then back to the arcade they had tried to barricade.
"I think we should run for more cover. It was pretty hard to defend outsides inside and we were cornered. This way we can run if we need to." Ridley purposed to Briar. Ridley didn't like the idea of having been cornered. Ridley turned and began to move towards a less open area above them. Looking for more trees or maybe an outside restaurant. Maybe to keep them out of the line of sight of the flying Pokemon.
Ridley began to run, keeping Delphine and Themyscira close by, and looking to check if Briar and her Pokemon were still near by. Ridley had no problem sprinting in heels, and times like these made her happy she had this skill. She wanted to move and get some where safe very quickly before something else sees them and targets them. Ridley found a restaurant that had a Teepee like straw roof with an open area held up by thick wooden poles. That would give them room to run or hunker down if they needed. She made a beeline for it, and once she made it under it's roof the immediately regretted it. She had come running into the area and spotted a very large prehistoric Pokemon that she did not know what it was. It was one of the Pokemon native to the island. Not only was it big, but it had very large teeth... Ridley stumbled to a stop, as Del ran into her. Ridley and her Pokemon froze, hoping it hadn't heard them. But of course, it did. It turned to face them, with it's flared spines, it let out a roar. The Fossil began to charge them, which Ridley knew they couldn't out run. The blonde and her Pokemon couldn't help the scream that escaped their mouths as Ridley did the only think she could think of, and whipped out a Pokeball and hurled it at the charging Pokemon. It had worked for Briar so she felt like this was her only option. The prehistoric Pokemon was pulled into the Pokeball and it fell still on the ground. Ridley let out a fearful huff of air as she slowly made he way over to pick up the Pokeball.
"Maybe... We can go somewhere else if you think it's best." Ridley spoke a little shaken by the near brush with danger they experienced." " Where: Ballroom.

It definitely took a lot to scare Ridley, but a massive barreling carnivore was something that could do it. She was scrappy, and her Pokemon were decent fighters by now, but a Pokemon with that much teeth, that big, and that much primal instinct, she knew it could have torn them up. Delphine collapsed into Ridley, not so much that she actually passed out, but she did have a dramatic streak in her. She clamped onto Ridley, who allowed it to happen, as she caught her breath. "Yeah.. Yeah, we're good." She responded to Briar. The fellow woman was being fairly nice, so Ridley held back her usual snappy attitude. Briar offered to look else where and possibly find a staff member for help when a gargled message rang out over head. Something something entrance, something something getting off the island. Delphine jumped back up right, and cheered with Briar and Rosalyn. "We're gonna live! We're gonna survive this horrible awful place!" Delphine cheered bear hugging Themyscira as she cheered. The Sirene recoiled in the hug, and side eyed the delphox, but didn't push her off. "This was your idea to come" The Sirene added plainly, but it didn't seem to diminish the fox's cheers. Ridley looked back to Briar as she offered Slate's back to ride. She... Hadn't ridden on an arcanine before. It wasn't as unnerving as flying was but letting someone else's Pokemon be in control didn't make Ridley feel too great. But she wasn't going to say no. Ridley returned Themyscira so Slate didn't have any extra weight, and began to climb on. "I promise I don't weigh much." She offered Slate with a wink as she climbed on. Faithe was not entirely sure what happened on the barge, she was trying to help Grace. Then suddenly everything lurched and heaved upward? Faithe snapped the two pokeballs and returned her Florgess and Jacques. She snapped them back to her belt and then turtled tucking her limbs in to protect herself and her pokeballs. However after that she was not clear on what happened.
Faithe woke up on the beach area of Arcade area of the island. She rubbed her face and tried to piece things together, however as Tapu Fini floated around her she started to get some idea. "Fini... Are you how I got here?" Faithe asks directly of her unfamiliar new friend.
"Yes. It would be unsightly if I simply permitted harm to come to you." Fini responds as her shell opens once more and the mysterious pokemon floats down to a better eye level with Faithe.
"Well, Thank you." Faithe responds with a weary smile, she was now completely certain that boats were just the worst things humanity had ever invented. EVER. Faithe gathered herself and got to her feet, it was time to look around and see if anyone else was around here.

Cyan was able to land on the beast’s neck and land its attack. Though, it seemed unphased. He held on tight as the monster began to shift, seemingly quite annoyed by the attacks being used on it. It neared the boat and Cyan took this opportunity to jump back on the barge just before it slammed one of its flippers against the barge. He fumbled a bit from the strike, but got back up and returned to Quinn. Meanwhile, as Cyan was attempting to attack the giant, ancient Lapras, Sonia was trying to strategize with Quinn, Elfana, and the rest of Team Froggy. Quinn was pleased with Professor Sonia trying to help them handle everyone’s common enemy. There wasn’t much time to strategize before the creature hit the side of the barge hard with one of its flippers, causing Quinn and Sakura to need to brace themselves to not tumble over. Suddenly, the leviathan dove into the water. Quinn couldn’t quite discern how deep the water was earlier, but the beast stayed under for quite a while. During this momentary silence, Cyan had managed to return back to where she and the others were. Quinn was happy to see him without any more injuries. However, her lapse of focus from her relief caused her to be unprepared for the Lapras’ lunge into the barge from below. The entire barge was nearly launched out of the water. Quinn was caught off guard and let out a sound of shock. She grabbed onto her Pokemon and braced herself before it fell back lower into the water. Sakura quickly used the extra mouths on its head to embrace Quinn and her other Pokemon as she dug her hands and feet into the surface of the barge to secure them all. The ancient Lapras heaved upward once more, splitting the barge into multiple pieces and launching them in different locations towards the beach.

Quinn had tried her best to keep her eyes open for more onslaughts, but the splashing water and erratic movements of the barge piece they were on forced her to close her eyes. Their barge piece eventually came to a sudden lurch on what Quinn could only assume was the beach. She opened her eyes and looked at their surroundings. There didn’t appear to be any immediate dangers and the beast didn’t seem to be attacking them any longer. “It appears the danger of that ancient Lapras is gone now. Thank you, Sakura. Your quick thinking kept us from being separated from the turbulence.”
Sakura let out an appreciative cry before loosening her hold on the group. She and Cyan looked around to assess where they had landed. Lux’s body illuminated brightly for a brief moment, melting the rest of the ice on him, before he hopped and stretched his body. Quinn was pleased to see him no longer frozen and patted his head. There appeared to be others there on the same part of the beach as her and her party. However, she didn’t recognize any of them except for Roxanne a short way away already on the sand who seemed to be fairing well despite everything.
Quinn and her Pokemon got off the barely intact piece of the barge they were on and walked toward Roxanne. Quinn figured it would be best to at least start by talking to someone she at least recognized. “Roxanne, I hope you also came out of that relatively uninjured. My name is Quinn. I wanted to formally introduce myself and apologize if my previous tone towards Grace seemed extreme. As a fellow woman of science, you have my utmost respect.” Quinn said to Roxanne with a subtle bow to attempt to mend relations with her, even if Roxanne’s response earlier did mean she was lying about fully respecting Roxanne as of this moment.
