 The Theme Park sits towards the back right corner of the island, and is a good distance from the main hub. Automated trams are available to take guests too and from the Theme Park for those who are unwilling or unable to do so themselves. The tram runs fairly often so its pretty easy to catch one to take you back to the Hotels or to one of the other attractions. If you came to see the Prehistoric Pokemon, this is not the place to be. But if you wanted to have some thrills and winnings this is the place to be! The theme park is exactly that, it is designed and perfectly themed to feel like you were transported back into the world 100 million years ago, with rides and amenities taken with you. There are rides for all, and all sizes. From the Dinosaur Egg Spin ride where you get to sit in an egg and spin all around, to the Turant-Coaster, where the state of the art roller coaster sends you flying around the park, breaking world records with it's speed and height. If thrills are your thing, and you need to cool off in the tropical heat, you could ride the Raging Rapids, a ride that sits you in a circular raft and takes you around the park in a ride that simulates a roaring rapids. But be careful, you will get wet! If that still isn't your forte, you can stop by the Arcade for video games, and carnival games and win big!

 Alice continued the game, this time scoring herself another perfect shot before waiting for her pokemon to take their turns. As Nyx scored a normal bottle and Valefor missed entirely, she had to fight the urge to just throw them herself. She felt the old Blackburn anger surface for a second before she forcibly pushed it back down. It was their vacation too, and she wasn't about to make them sit and watch her play the games by herself. She wanted the tickets sure, but she wasn't that heartless. Still, it was quite hard to watch.
Valefor lowered his head and looked depressed that he was the only one to miss not one, but two shots so far. He wasn't exactly designed for throwing things, let alone awkwardly shaped rings. They caught on his fangs and as far as his arms went... well, he might as well be armless. Nyx however was having a great time, totally not paying attention to the tickets at all but simply enjoying the accomplishment of getting a ring on any bottle. She didn't understand the purpose of such an activity, so she viewed it as mere training to be more accurate. In a way she was kind of right. Almost.

Thankfully the trams seemed to course regularly and between any place on the island - well, as long you start from the nursery that is. But it was still easy enough and accessible. And he could travel with Dewott on it too. At least the sanitizing mist was wearing off, not making them too sticky anymore.
The theme rides didn't interest him, so instead he turned straight towards the arcades and games. Vale took a moment to see the rules and possible prizes, noticing the most interesting ones (items and TMs) being priced rather high - but with tickets one could win in each game. And there were many of them - played by both people and their Pokemons. For the sake of testing, he decided to try each one of the games, before settling down on one he would like most. And the first on the list was bowling - and he was fine with that. The bowling balls were heavy, but thankfully he spent the last few weeks on keeping his physical condition good for incoming challenges, and so it wasn't too hard for him to get a grasp on them. Tossing them was a different story, and so was aiming. But for a first hit he didn't get the worst result - five out of ten pins went down in one strike. That was a good start.
Before moving further, Vale withdrew his MummyBall, sending Kieran out.
Zoroark stretched and ruffled his mane, before blinking and looking at him. "Hey boss. Where are we?"
"On the Discovery Island. Remember?" he asked, and the Pokemon nodded twice. "Well, we are having a stop to play some games. Want to join?"
Fox' ears pointed up and his eyes shone with curiosity. "Yes! Where do we start?"

He wasn't quite sure about digging in sand when dressed like that. He wasn't all fancy or something, but.. still. Sighing, he took off his jacket and handed it to Caspian. Sure, he was smaller, but he hoped that Kieran might help him move the shovel. Dewott nodded at him in understanding, as he stood behind. Unlike bowling, it was less clear what they were meant to do. But after reading the plaque, it seemed like the goal was getting the eggs to the nest - by using the shovel only. And the distance was almost 10 feet, which wasn't as much as he expected. But still, using the shovel to do it was troublesome.
Zoroark assisted him from the side, gripping the shovel tightly. Vale could see that the Pokemon had a little trouble with it, due to his long claws and inability to use Illusion, but he was determined to help anyways, which he appreciated. It wasn't all that difficult, but he didn't like this game - tossing the sand and eggs was messy, and the accuracy left a lot to be desired. At the end, they managed to get one egg into the nest, earning one ticket.
Well, that will take a while.
"Not a fan of this one." he muttered, rubbing his hands and brushing sand off himself. Kieran shook his body too, getting it off his fur.
"It wasn't that bad. But it would be easier if I could change." Zoroark replied, scratching his head. He must had realized that his Illusion was disabled. "But I don't get why I can still communicate with you."
"Well, Mrs. Grace said that certain abilities, like telepathy and levitation, aren't deemed too dangerous to be used." Vale explained, taking the jacket from Dewott and wrapping it around his hips anyways. "At least for now."

After cleaning himself from the sand and dust, they headed towards the next attraction - balloons and darts. It seemed a lot more simple and easier, with only tossing darts at the balloons and hoping to hit them all. And at least both of his Pokemons could participate as well, even though there were five targets.
"It should be better than the previous one. Here, take one dart." he hummed as he showed them the spot. Caspian was noticeably shorter and needed a lift, but that shouldn't be problem. Kieran had a little trouble holding the dart, but it was also fixable. "This time you two get two shots, alright?"
Both Pokemons nodded, taking turns in throwing darts. Zoroark missed once, as he was getting used to his big paws, but the second time he did hit a balloon. Unlike him, Dewott managed to hit both balloons, given his paws being smaller and more acquired for holding something that size. Vale also hit one balloon, making it four out of five - granting him five tickets. It was a lot better than the previous game, by a whole lot. And more fun too.
"That was pretty good." he said, as he took the tickets. He still needed a lot more for a prize he wanted. "Let's see what's the last one like." "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

The next, and so far the last game seemed like something that required tossing rings at the statues - they must land on the horns of the Pokemon. Simple enough, right?
"Alright, seems like we all have one shot at that this time." Vale said, handing them those rings. Now Caspian seemed to have a little trouble holding the ring, while Kieran had a little bit better grip on it. He rolled it on one his his claws, getting ready to toss. He couldn't quite tell how much fun they were having, but he was doing just fine. It was a nice break before going further - the sanctuaries weren't quite his things, and the aquarium isn't going anywhere anyways.
Vale tossed his ring first, to at least show them how to - and he somehow managed to land it on a statue that was a bit spread out from the rest. Well, not the worst outcome. Then, when his Pokemons were getting ready, he took his phone to message Fabian. He did just remembered about it now.
"hey i got there a while ago. look at what tf they revived and put in a petting zoo." simple message, and he attached one photo at time to save his charge and the time for it to send. Then he put his phone away and looked at how his Pokemons were doing.
It seemed like they both missed their targets. Dewott's whiskers twitched in slight irritation, while Zoroark looked a bit embarrassed. "Um.. I tossed too far, and Caspian tossed too close."
"Eh, I will live with that. We can try again anyways." he shrugged, as he went to recollect the rings. It still seemed like the most fair game between them, even though he liked the balloon darts more. But one game at a time, like always. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

He decided to do this game again, but this time he wanted his Pokemons to try and mimic his movements - especially Kieran, since he was noticeably taller with longer arms.
"Alright, so try now do it like this." Vale demonstrated, as he grabbed one of the rings. He didn't toss it yet, just showed them how he does it. He repeated few times, so they get a good grip on it. "Now, let's try again."
Vale threw the right first, this time having it land on the middle statue, earning five tickets. It was a somewhat an improvement over the last time. Zoroark mimicked his movements as much as he could, and aimed for the same statue as well - somehow managing to get the ring on it too, getting another five tickets. Pokemon's chest fur puffed up in pride and his ears wiggled too. Dewott followed closely right after, but his ring missed the central statue and instead landed on one between the rest. It was still an accurate throw, getting them three tickets. It almost doubled the amount he already had, which only got him closer towards his goal and moving further.
"Hey, that was pretty good." he hummed, praising them. It was more luck than skill, but it still went well. "Just few more and we should be done here for now."
Then he heard a noise coming from his phone - but he will deal with it in a moment. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

Kieran took the rings back, as he took his phone out. It seemed like Fabian had gotten the photos, and he wasn't expecting a response so soon.
"ngl it looks like a green amaura. and the other one is just weird." was the first message. "holdon, can you even take photos?"
It was a fair concern, but he knew an answer to that and so he replied shortly. "according to the rules, it is allowed. as long it wont upset the pokemons ig"
After that, he put his phone back into his bag and took the ring instead. His Pokemons were waiting for him before tossing theirs. This time Caspian managed to land it on the middle statue, while Kieran made it to one spread out from the rest - earning him eight tickets already. And he was hoping to get more, but this time it was Vale who missed the target, barely so. It just bounced off the statue, landing on the ground.
Sighing, he went to retrieve them. "Hopefully one more time and I should get enough tickets."
Zoroark's ears twitched. "But we will come back here? It's pretty fun!"

He brought them the rings back, before getting into his position as well. He had a rather good feeling about this one - or at least, he hoped it will go well. He didn't want to spend there all day, since it wasn't the point of the visit. But to be fair, what was exactly the point? He wasn't a scientist nor a professor - just a random trainer that happened to get the invitation. All that science talk didn't interest him that badly, even though he studied medicine - but it was different.
Now, one by one, they tossed the rings at the statues. He and Caspian managed to hit two, with Dewott landing it on the middle one and he hit the closest, common one instead. Kieran, on the other hand, missed, which made him earn only six tickets. But it was already enough for the prize he wanted, and such he took the rings and returned to the prize booth to exchange the tickets. After a slight moment, he picked a TM for later.
"Well, Belladonna should be pleased." Vale hummed as he put the TM in him bag. "But we will deal with it later. For now let's see what the island have in store for us."
Caspian nodded once and his whiskers twitched. Kieran's flicked his ear and nodded in agreement too. For the time being, he decided to keep them both outside of their PokeBalls for company and.. well, just in case. Hopefully no one will complain about them being out, since they aren't that big or dangerous. They still needed to move to the next part by the tram, as it was easier and faster. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

Entering the theme park area from the nursery, it was like a switch had been flipped. The scenery went from grassy, beautiful greenery to well-built, modern looking buildings and a carnival-like atmosphere, with the faint smell of sugar and butter on the air like cotton candy and hot popcorn. Faint music played through speakers hidden behind the sparse trees and everything was covered in bright lights and flashy signs. Oshawott looked dazzled, but she decided to behave herself, instead of running off she patted at Velvet's leg to get her attention and pointed where she wanted to go. It was a cotton candy stand, with a huge sign over top denoting the treat and a man spinning it fresh right there.
Once Velvet was heading that way, Oshawott dashed ahead to stare, starry-eyed, at the spun sugar treats as they were made, making the man running the stand chuckle. "Well hey there lil fella! Y'want some?"
Velvet smiled and bought each of them a paper cone piled high with the cloud-like confection, and they enjoyed the cotton candies as they wandered around to see all the attractions. Velvet decided to give the balloon darts game a shot, it seemed fairly straight-forward and a good way to earn some tickets. She only managed to connect one dart with a balloon to pop it, the rest of Velvet's darts hit the wall in between.
"Oshawa! Osha!!"
Velvet shrugged. "Oshawott, if you want to give it a shot, too, go ahead!"
Applin leveled up to 17!

Oshawott picked up her dart and made as if she was going to do a spinning throw, which Velvet quickly put a stop to before anyone got hurt. "Oshawott, please try it like this.." She mimicked throwing the dart straight forward and aiming at the balloons, and Oshawott nodded and tried again, raising her arm all the way up to try to throw the dart at the balloons.
Unfortunately, Oshawott was just as unskilled at this particular game as Velvet and only one of her darts managed to pop a balloon. She had a close call where a balloon was struck and didn't pop, bouncing the dart back to the ground, but it didn't count, apparently.
"Oshawash.." Velvet handed Oshawott her cotton candy again, which quickly distracted her as she chomped huge mouthfuls. Velvet decided they would try a different game and come back to this one later.

"Feh" Mozilla responds with the best equivalent a fennekin could give to a shrug as she hopped out of Faithe's arms onto the table. Mozilla wasn't sure if she wanted to be held by Teriyaki, they were after all rivals for Faithe's fire-pokemon affection weren't they? She turned a few times on the table, prancing her feet in place afterwards before settling and sitting in an obnoxiously regal manner.
Faithe stifled a little giggle she didn't want to encourage the little diva, but her behavior was just too cute sometimes. "Okay~. I would ask glitter or no glitter. However, that's kinda not optional right now... I had a bit of a... glitter disaster in my bag earlier and all my combs and ties and stuff are ya know... glittery now. Besides, everything is better with a little glitter~," Faithe states with a mildly nervous grin on her face as she unzipped her satchel bag, which as if on cue let out a little puff of glitter. Faithe chortled at the timing of it all as she rifled about in her bag fetching several bobby pins, a pick comb, a brush, some hair ties, several ribbons and a spritzer bottle that looked a lot like a spritzee all of which had glitter on them thanks to the container of glitter that had somehow come open in her bag, very likely she had left it open by accident. Finally having secured the items she was looking for, she lifted them up, deftly held between her fingers. "Hair first, then ~ehehehe~ Riven can tell me if she wants a scarf or a hat~!" Faithe giggles excited that she would get to make something for a pokemon that could actually TELL her what she wanted and what she thought of it. Faithe pursed her lips for a moment as she mulled the style she was going to go for. After a few moments making popping noises she stops oddly still, placing all but the pins, brush, and spritzee bottle on the table, she was ready to begin. Faithe with a touch surprisingly gentle for how much excitement she was expressing started by giving a light misting to Hana's hair and taking the brush to it starting at the bottom. She needed to make sure the hair was brushed through and smooth so she didn't create any unreasonable tangles when she started braiding. "So, I'm thinking dragon tail braid, but I want to leave the framing in place. So bangs and the fringe." Faithe states not sure if Hana would know what style of braid that would mean, but looking for feedback as to if she was going to take the style in a direction that Hana at least wouldn't dislike.

Oshawott decided that she'd get to pick the next game to try, and she waved at Velvet to follow as she made a beeline for the bowling stand. It was a straightforward game, just try to roll the ball straight into the pins to knock over as many as possible at once. The theming of the game was as though it was made by cave-people, with the pins resembling femur bones and the ball painted to look like a rounded stone boulder.
"Alright, do you want to try first, Oshawott?" Oshawott happily nodded and ran forward to grab the ball, then gave it a strong push toward the bone-pins and watched delightedly as it rolled forward.
Oshawott's face dropped from joyful to upset as her ball rolled off-course and only bumped a single pin. Though that one did tip, it wasn't quite enough, and they only got one ticket.
"Oh gosh.. Give it another go, Oshawott. Maybe you'll do better this round?"
Oshawott wouldn't give up, and so the ball rolled again. Luckily, this time she did a lot better, actually managing to bowl a strike and knocking down every pin!

After watching Oshawott win the bowling game, Velvet became determined to try the game as well. No offense to the workers, of course, but she'd been half convinced that the games might all be rigged just like at any old regular carnival, but seeing her Oshawott finally do so well, she thought maybe these weren't her typical carnival fare, per se.
"Okay, it's my turn. Pardon me, Oshawott, I want to try." She gently nudged her Oshawott, who hopped gladly out of the way to cheer on her trainer from the sidelines as Velvet approached the line and rolled her ball - or boulder - down the lane.
Velvet was pleased to find that she managed to throw the ball straight down the middle, but it only got eight of the bones. The pair on opposite ends of the far points still stood firm after the others had all tipped. "Well, I still did better than I thought I would.. How about one more try?"
The pins were reset, and this time Velvet pouted a little as her boulder only side-swiped a single pin, which did tumble and knock down two more, but it was unsatisfying compared to Oshawott knocking down all ten in one go.

Mozilla sniffed a few times and looked over at the Ekans deposited by Hana. She gave Alatus a little haughty nod of recognition but didn't care to interact beyond that and she returned to her regally poised seat watching Faithe play with some other trainers hair, instead of lavishing the little fennekin with her righful attention. She would tolerate it though, because this new trainer was friendly enough, and seemed to understand Mozilla's rightful place as a little princess.
Securing the strands with the bobby pins temporarily Faithe was able to tease some of the tighter parts of the braid to open up into the intended dragon tail design. She would occasionally secure a lock in place with a pale robins egg blue ribbon and a some small white babies breath flowers, and since she was doing this by hand, and said hands had been in her satchel bag, she was also depositing glitter all about the locks of hair, increasing the concentration of glitter at each stopping point thanks heavily to her handling that bit for longer.

Alatus gave the Fennekin a soft hiss to acknowledge her but made no effort to turn to look her way after the greeting. He was far too interested in watching his trainer's hair be braided. The style seemed complicated but it was very pretty. It suited her. He was particularly fascinated by the glitter. His head tilted to the side when he first noticed the sparkles. Before long he pulled himself up on to the table so he could get a closer look at it. "Like tiny stars." He hissed to himself. The Ekans looked to Faithe and gave a nod of approval before coiling up on the table.
"Looks like Alatus likes it." Hanako couldn't help but smile. If her Ekans liked it then it definitely looked pretty! "Where did you learn to braid hair like this? Was it hard to learn?" She could never imagine learning herself. Faithe was amazing to her for being able to learn to style hair, let alone have the patience to do it.
