 "City of falling fog and rising stars!"
Virbank City is known to be a port city with many hangars, docks and waterways. In the northeastern part of the city, there is graffiti painted on the wall that resembles Koffing's skull and crossbones mark. There are other places of interest such as the harbor where many of the port's ships come and go with their cargo, the Virbank Complex which is an industrial plant outside of the city, and the Virbank City Gym.
{Virbank City Gym (Click)}Roxie is the official Gym Leader of Virbank City's Gym. She specializes in Poison-type Pokémon, and she gives the Toxic Badge to Trainers who defeat her. Like Cheren, she is fairly new to the Gym Leader scene, and after becoming established, There were rumors of her replacing Lenora as the only second gym, or even replacing Cress, Cilian, and Chili. But the League has officially put this to rest. Roxie grew up in a small town in Kanto, once she was old enough she moved out the first moment she could. She is a musician who plays the bass guitar, and soon she started a band called "Koffing and the Toxics." She spends most of her days within her Club, that is also her gym, playing music. Though she has been seen having loud arguments with her rising movie star father. When she isn't here, she has been seen spending time with Cynthia and Caitlin in their Villa on Undella Island to relax. She is been known to be a bit of a hot head, and have an attitude, but in general, most like to see her has fun loving, and a ball of energy. Even though she can seem fun, young, and carefree, she's a tough battler. She's been seen to clean sweep entire teams of trainers. Her gym is located in the northeastern part of the city, marched by the Koffing skull and crossbones. It's located int what looks like a run down warehouse, however it is anything but. Once inside, the large building opens up into what looks like an under ground night club. It is open all day, though it's mostly, and very, popular in the evening leading late into the night. The club has a lifted dance floor, with a lower area surrounding it for those looking to hang out and just listen to music. The far end of the club has a stage where Roxie and her band plays live. Once challenged, Roxie will clear the dance floor. Fairly forcefully, and quickly, revealing it to be the battle field. It's entirely flat making it versatile, and fairly simple. {Flinzy Odelia || Cute Contest Leader (Click)} Flinzy is an...Interesting girl. She loves colors, and loves having fun and being excited. She spends most of her time down at Roxie's gym with her Pokémon, dancing to the music, Roxie often pulls her up on the stage to dance while she plays. When Roxie closes her gym for the night, she travels over to the bigger cities, and parties at the raves. Her Pokémon love dancing and music as much as she does. It is never a dull moment with Flinzy. She often shows up to contests in her rave costumes, which include; Meowth ears and tail, Rainbow mesh tops, shorts, converse with very furry rainbow leg warmers. Flinzy is very hyper, and some times she even brings her raving hula-hoop and performs along with her Pokémon. She never seems to stop moving, even when she doesn't have her hoop or when it is the opponent's turn. A lot of the time she can be seen as a klutz, often while she's dancing her glasses will fling off, and cause her to scramble to try and find them and put them back on. She is very friendly, and tries to befriend everyone she meets. Having already been able to return Ho-Oh and Flix to their Pokeballs so that Flix could rest and Ho-Oh could remain safe, Emiri still had plenty of her Pokemon out and about with her. Azuran flew close beside her and Charizard, soaring and gliding on his wings, while Kovu busied himself with not just the package he held, but having the baby and Cerian with him as well on his back. Now that the Chifaera had become a little bigger, and had started walking and gaining strength day by day, he had become an excellent playmate for Cerian who too was essentially a cub for his species. The rest of her Pokemon continued on the journey with her too, and before too long they were nearing Virbank City.
Hantu held the package for this delivery, and so Emiri stood on Charizard’s saddle and adjusted herself, stepping out onto the fire type’s outstretched wings to meet the Dragonite in the air. She effortlessly switched mounts between them and moved down towards the ground then on Hantu’s back. The Dragonite landed, and relinquished his package outside of the Pokemon Center that they had found, and Emiri smiled at him as she dismounted to move into the Pokemon Center. Before too much longer, that was another package delivered and another stamp gained by the Nurse Joy there, and that meant that they were essentially finished with the entire southern portion of the Unova Region. Taking to Hantu’s back, he and Emiri moved back into the air to continue, slowly but surely making progress. There was no real purpose for Kira's hesitation. Normally she would have flown off to the next spot as quickly as she'd appeared, but something was keeping her here. She knew she wasn't supposed to leave yet. It wasn't until she came across a Growlithe that it became clear to her. "Ah. That makes sense. That Lunala is interfering again." She stood back and allowed Salamence to stomp forward. He sprayed Growlithe down and when Growlithe tried to fight back, he Hydro Pumped it into the brick wall and hosed it down like it was a rioter in the streets. Kira captured it, pocketed the Pokeball, and went on for the next City.

Elfana Aroway For the sake of getting it over with, Elfana decided to stop by the Pokemon Center first after they arrived in Virbank City. She wanted to collect her next stamp before she forgot about it. While she still disliked Virbank City's nurse, she was familiar enough with her to be civil. She was questioned about Pantalaimon but the nurse wasn't as insistent as the previous nurse had been. The topic was allowed to drop when Elfana shut it down. She received her stamp and gave the nurse a small wave before leaving. Next stop, home! Or that would have been the plan had she not nearly been taken clean off her feet by a small young woman with cherry red hair. The Pokemon Center's outer walls had been the only thing that had saved her from hitting the ground. "Hello to you too, Elise." Had she not had to try to prevent Pantalaimon from being crushed in the middle of Elise's hug, she would have patted her head. Before she could say another word, Elfana was being pulled down the street. Her assistant was rambling on far too quickly for her to catch much of anything but she heard a couple of things about her Steelix and new clients. She didn't try to stop her. That would be more effort than it was worth.
Her office was located towards the edge of the town. It was clean and well maintained. She wouldn't settle for anything less than a professional looking clinic. Elfana owned the building outright. She was the only doctor that operated out of it and she intended to keep it that way. The building behind her office also belonged to her, though compared to her clinic the building looked as if it had been left to rot. She did just enough to prevent it from being condemned but felt no further work was required. It served as both an entrance and waiting room of sorts. She couldn't have Team members walking in and out of her main office. That might scare off her less shady clients. Her lab was located beneath the two buildings. She had made use of the maze of tunnels her Steelix had dug under the property. They served as the perfect "office" for patients she wouldn't be able to treat in the main building. The Steelix in question was curled up outside of her main office, looking like he wanted to dig himself a hole straight back to his tunnels and never come out again. Had the doctor not been coming home for a short visit, he would have remained in hiding. He perked up a tiny bit when he saw Elise dragging Elfana along with her. "Anty's been waiting out here all day! Do you know how excited he was when you heard you were coming home?" Elise held her arms open as wide as she could. "This much but like...bigger. That's a whole lot, you know." Elise looked as both of her arms then to Elfana. She was in the perfect position for another hug! Once again Pantalaimon came dangerously close to being squished. Elise released the doctor much sooner this time though. She grabbed her bag from her and took off into the clinic. There were bound to be samples and new notes that needed to be sorted. "Kayuki, can you take Pantalaimon inside?" She handed the Turtwig off to the Jynx, who nodded in response and followed after Elfana's assistant. The doctor approached her Steelix and hugged him to the best of her ability when he lowered his head enough for her to do so. "I missed you too, Anty. How are you holding up? Any pain or discomfort?" She ran her hand along one of the many cracks in the Steelix's body. Repairing the worst of them had taken her months. There were still too many for her liking. He shook his head. "Nothing new to report, doctor...Or...wait! Yes there is!" He smiled and began to sway back and forth happily. "I made a new tunnel! This one goes even deeper! But...then it got too dark to continue." The smile quickly turned to a frown and the snake-like Pokemon began to sulk. Walter relayed everything the Steelix had just said to Elfana. "Baby steps are important too. It might not feel like you're making any progress but you've done well." Steelix were supposed to be able to dig towards the core. Antarcticite struggled to get any deeper than the tunnels beneath the doctor's office without panicking. Elfana had faith in him though. Someday he would be able to behave like a normal Steelix.
Elfana ended up spending her night in her clinic. If she entered her lab she knew she wouldn't be able to convince herself to leave again. Throughout the night she ran different tests on her Turtwig to figure out why he wasn't healing like he should. Nothing she tried worked but she had seen him heal earlier when he absorbed energy from the Trapinch! As much as she hated to admit it, she ended up concluding that the inability to heal had to be a result of the plate. Arceus had mentioned something about the Pokemon harboring the power from it. Pantalaimon's previous opponents hadn't displayed any strange electrical powers but perhaps whatever they took from the plate was manifesting in other ways. Elfana had a lot to think about when she was finally able to convince herself to leave the next morning. If the Ground Types could prevent healing, what else could they do to her Pokemon?Unova

Elfana Aroway The trip through Virbank was a quick one. She stopped by her office just long enough to leave her Rotoms and Scyther with Elise. Before she could leave Elise shoved a Pokeball into her hand. "He decided you needed help." That was all she offered in terms of an explanation before going back into the office. Elfana stared down at the Pokeball before storing it away with the others. She wasn't going to get out of taking the Steelix with her. Trying to leave him behind would result in a terribly upset Steel snake Pokemon and yet another lecture from Walter. She continued on to the outskirt of the city, still wishing she could stay home. They had a job forced upon them though and she was going to see it through.Unova

Elfana Aroway Walter had decided to Teleport them back to Virbank when he noticed just how tired his friend was. Elfana didn't get worn out often. Trying to balance dealing with a Legendary and traveling across several regions was a lot more demanding than her usual workload. She didn't feel like it should have been yet there she was, seated on the ground by the docks while she waited for their ship to arrive. How was near constant work on different projects and patients less tiring than helping a Pokemon and traveling? She couldn't understand it but she didn't think she really wanted to either. Focusing on the issue for too long would end up giving her a headache. "Earth to Elle. Come in, Elle." She blinked and slowly turned her head so she could see the Alakazam standing above her. How long had he been calling to her? "Pantalaimon wants to know of you've settled on a name for the Rufflet." Walter looked concerned but he decided against questioning her in front of the younger Pokemon. There was no need to worry them. "We'll call him Oryx." Not the best name but it was the first thing that came for mind. Walter nodded before turning his attention back to the other Pokemon. He would worry about her after they had settled in on the boat. She continued to stare off and daydream until her ride arrived. As soon as they located their cabin, she curled up on the bed and went right to sleep.Hoenn
