 "The Noble Town."
Nestled in a valley in Northeastern Kanto, annually colored with different hues of purple and violet from the wild flowers in the area, resides a small residential town. Lavender Town rests here out of the way of most travelers who come through the Kanto Region in search of the region's gyms, so the town is mostly quiet and humble in most respects. Over the years it has grown a bit, where the Pokemon Tower had since been rebuilt into the Soul House and the old tower became Kanto's very own radio tower, but just because the town is changing doesn't mean that it's citizens have changed much, if at all. The residents of Lavender Town hold a very close and very dear relationship to those departed souls that live in the Soul House, most going to pay their respects on a daily basis, and some even paying respects to the lost Pokemon that didn't even belong to them. They care deeply about what it means to cross over and leave the physical world, and will sooner run someone out of town then let them deface the Soul House in any way. Any travelers are welcome to visit, but are often warned that the souls of Pokemon still wandering about the tower can take the form of human ghosts, and will even go so far as to protect the other souls there if they sense danger, just like the mother Marowak that had haunted the tower for so long.
{Samuel "Flash" Austin || Cool Contest Leader (Click)} Flash loves reading books, particularly tutorials on new forms of swordplay. He can almost always be seen with a book titled "Make Out Paradise" tucked into his belt if he's not reading it. He tends to draw manga in his free time, when he's not practicing using his swords in conjunction with his Pokemon, though he'll never let anyone see what he draws. That is due mostly to the...er..."compromising" nature of many of them. He refuses to wear any color that isn't a shade of black, purple, red or silver. He is a very interesting fellow, and usually keeps to himself, but once he's in the contest hall, he's a very fierce competitor. While he is there to preform in front of hundreds, Samuel is quite the introvert, and often keeps to himself. Most find him a bit awkward outside of the contests. Kira had only wanted to do some training, and wasn't sure what his plans were. So, she stuck around Saffron and battled Pokemon while she waited for him to arrive. She knew this was his next stop. She had been in a battle though, and nearly missed him when he came into the City. Her gaze caught the tail end of his departure. He clearly hadn't seen her, but she ran after him. "Apollo, wait up!" She had a smile on her face. As far as she knew, she had been nice in waiting for him in this City. She didn't know she had insulted him. "What's that way?" She asked Apollo, once she had caught up with him. She wasn't familiar with this area at all. If she had known about the ghost-type Pokemon in the next town over, she'd have lit up. The idea of a haunted adventure sent chills down her spine, but adrenaline through her veins. She loved scary things, always had. She had watched dozens of horror movies as a child, and rather than scaring her away they put her on a path of eventually finding something that truly scared her, deep to her core. Apollo had been walking for a while, leaving Saffron and memories behind him, and venturing towards Lavender Town. Apollo had only ever been through Lavender once or twice, but he had only driven through on the tour bus. They never got to stop, granted none of them really wanted to, or had any reason to stop in Lavender. But now, he wanted to train a bit, and maybe have a little fun with some ghosts. After walking for a bit, he ended up letting out Anthony, and his newly captured butterfly. Anthony floated along side Apollo, and let Teddy hold onto his string as they went, while Beautifly rested on his back, and watching over his shoulder, and looked around with her wings folded. The air was rather still, which was rather calming, and Anthony was definitely grateful. But as they grew closer to Lavender town, the air grew a little foggy, but nothing too drastic.
Once he could see the edge of the town, he heard a familiar voice. Apollo turned and looked, "Oh, hey!" he called out to her. "I thought you were going to head towards Vermillion" he told her, and turned to walk along with her as she caught up. She asked what was up a head, and he smiled. "That's Lavender Town. They say it's the most haunted town in Kanto." he told her, speaking in a deeper and purposefully foreboding tone. Apollo always enjoyed the thrill and excitement of life. He was very brave, to the point that he were almost stupid. But he was confident he could handle a few ghosts. He had experience with a few ghosts in the past, and not just ghost types, so he firmly believed he was safe around any ghosts.Wearing: Sea Prince

"I thought you were going to head towards Vermillion." He said, to which she replied with a shrug of her shoulder.
"I could have gone on and beat five more Gyms by the time you beat one..." She teased him, but in a friendly way. "...but I decided to tag along and help you get better."
"That's Lavender Town. They say it's the most haunted town in Kanto." His tone was menacing and spooky, clearly trying to frighten her. How silly of him.
"You can't scare me with ghosts." She grinned. "I love spooky things." She was ready to face this new challenge. "I'm going to catch a Ghost." Now she was absolutely determined, and she wondered if Apollo would go with her to hunt them down. She decided that she'd wait to ask him until they got closer. "So where are these Ghosts found? She walked now with a pep in her step, anxious to get into the next town. It had been quite a while since she was this excited about something like this.

Teddy looked to Kira and listened as the talked, while Beautifly watched the conversation continue. Apollo didn't understand why she thought she'd be able to beat five more gyms, as far as he knew his battle with Misty went twice as fast as hers. Maybe she just lived faster then he did, which really said something, which would explain why she would have left him twice already to go ahead. He didn't think anything of it, or mention it. He looked to the nearing town as she spoke about not being scared, and how she loved ghosts. "Well good, this is the right place to find one." he told her, with a smile which turned to one that was mischievous again. "They've had hundreds of confirmed sightings, and not just from ghost types. Like actual ghosts." he told her, as they began to enter the actual town. It was almost perfect, there was a slight chill in the air, with a bit of fog... It was the perfect ghost hunting weather. He looked back to her when she asked about where to find the ghosts. "Well, apparently ghosts haunt all over the town, and they all have a really high respect for the ghosts." he began walking down the street of the town. Anyone that has been to Lavender, and even through it, knew how they all were about the dead. Apollo moved to her side, and leaned down so he could point in her view towards the tall tower. "The Soul House is the most haunted building. Its haunted by all the spirits of the Pokemon buried there, and some thing their once trainers as well. But it's mostly haunted by the ghost of a Marowak. And Gastly of course." he told her as he continued to walk down the street and towards the house.Wearing: Sea Prince

"Pretty butterfly you have there. I've never seen one like that." She was being polite as their conversation usually consisted of teasing each other. Which was fun, but sometimes she just felt the urge to be serious. "Is there a Gym in this town?" She asked, figuring there wasn't since he hadn't already mentioned one. "Or just Ghosts? Because this Ghost hunting is going to be fun enough. We should wait until dark!" She grinned at him.

Apollo continued to walk into the small town, and towards the Soul House. He glanced up to his new Pokemon as she commented on her appearance. Beautifly let out a light cry as thanks to Kira, with a joyful expression. "Thank you, I caught her back in Saffron. She just flew up and landed on Teddy." He told her and ran the back of his finger over her head gently. Teddy how ever was less then pleased that she was still there, and huffed as he sucked harder on his honey covered paw while holding onto Anthony's string tightly with his free paw. Apollo looked forward, and up at the tall tower that stood over the town. "No, there isn't a gym in the town, I think it's way to small for a gym." he told her with a shrug. "Just Spooky ghosts" he told her in a cryptic voice, and waving his fingers at her in a very cliche way. He looked skyward to see where the sun was. "We can head into the tower now, the sun should be setting soon, and they say that ghosts appear more on the higher floors of the tower." he told her with a nod. Wearing: Sea Prince

Did she mean a cheap scare, her Ghost-Type Haunter, or did she know something more... about what had happened to them in there? Kira hesitated, not sure how much to say. "Some of our Pokemon..." She gestured at both herself and to Apollo. "...have taken some very serious damage. Something... unnatural has hurt them, and it wasn't a ghost." She finished unhelpfully. "You need to take them as quickly as possible, and see what you can do for them." She handed over her Pokeballs while Haunter hovered uncomfortably over her shoulder, glaring venomously up at the fluorescent lights. It much preferred the dimly lit Soul House.
Kira sat in a waiting room nearby, tapping her foot impatiently. It had been an hour, and even though someone had been in to return most of her Pokeballs, those few who had fallen at the hands of Oliver2 weren't among them. The Volunteer who had returned some of her Party either would not, or could not tell her anything more about those missing. She looked up at Apollo. They had been alone, though together, for what seemed like ages. She hadn't spoken out of sheer worry for her companions. Lucy, her best friend, would be alright. She kept repeating the words 'she'll be alright' to herself in her head, which felt solitary and closed without Lucy's familiar thoughts mingling with her own.

Apollo managed to catch up to Kira at the Pokemon center. She had already started talking about their emergency, and that something unnatural had hurt them and their Pokemon. Nurse Joy seemed to turn very serious. She must have not seen or noticed the condition Kira was in, or her burned arm, maybe she thought she hadn't noticed it before. But after the explanation, and the cut up appearance from Apollo, and his torn apart shirt, she seemed to get the picture. Apollo handed over his Pokeballs in good faith, knowing the Nurse and her team could take care of their Pokemon. They were escorted to a waiting room by one of the Chansey, and were left alone.
After a bit of waiting, another Chansey appeared, to help treat their wounds. Apollo pulled what was left of his shirt off and let the Chansey start cleaning his cuts and assessing the damage. He was happy to have his own chansey, but he knew his wasn't a trained professional like her, nor did she have the appropriate tools to care for a human, instead of a Pokemon. The pink Pokemon gently worked on his torso, arms, and back, cleaning out the wounds, however small, and mending them together with multiple thin bandages. After the Pink Pokemon moved to Kira, the brunet decided to change out of his shredded clothes into something more comfortable. He moved into the bathroom, and put on a tan low cut v-neck, and jean cut offs. It was very basic, but he wasn't trying to look good, only be comfortable. Something he didn't do often. He emerged, and walked over and sat next to Kira. "They'll be fine... There's not an injury in the world Joy can't fix." Apollo reassured, giving her a smile, trying to cheer her up the best that he could. Wearing: Not cute, but comfy.

Chansey made to take care of Kira's burned arm, and she was about to pull her arm away but found that she was just too tired. Something about that place... it's like she'd been carrying the weight of the world, and suddenly found she didn't need to. The weight was gone, but her body was aching and sore. She had cuts and bumps, and the infamous dragon-burn, as well as that singular slice across one cheek to be tended to. Knowing the cut on her cheek would leave a scar, and finding she didn't really care, it was her turn to change.
Returning from the bathroom, Apollo would be able to see that she'd also gone for comfort rather than appearances. A gray pair of sweatpants, a t-shirt that was too big for her, and bare feet were the outfit of the night. By the time she got back and plopped down into an empty seat across from Apollo, they only had to wait another thirty minutes before Nurse Joy returned. "I have good news. Everyone has made a full recovery!" She smiled reassuringly at both Trainers. Kira knew she'd just received nothing short of a miracle, and jumped up to reclaim her Pokeballs. She pressed the center button on Lucy's Pokeball, and the orb swelled to it's full size cupped in both her hands.
Aiming the Pokeball a few feet away, Lucy appeared in a flash of red energy. "Lucy?" She thought hesitantly.
The Pokemon blinked and looked around, first at Apollo and Nurse Joy, then at Kira. "What happened?" She thought back, and it was suddenly like everything was made right again.
Kira flung herself into a big hug with her best friend. "I was so worried, that monster was throwing bones and stuff everywhere, and you just collapsed. I'm so sorry, I didn't even know you were being hurt too. I should have protected you, returned you to your Pokeball... something." She was on the verge of tears, knowing that she'd never have forgiven herself if Lucy hadn't recovered.
"Hey, it's okay. I'm fine, and it wasn't your fault. Not at all." Lucy returned the hug. They eventually broke apart and Lucy's thoughts were suddenly in everyone's mind. "We need a room for the night, please. She needs to rest." Kira very well could have said this herself and objected to being treated like a little kid, but couldn't find it in her to scold her best friend right now. She bade goodnight to Apollo and followed the Nurse up to her room. Yes, sleep is exactly what she needed. The moment her head hit the pillow, she was out like the flip of a light switch. Lucy sat up all night, watching over the girl. She was so grown for such a little girl, and Lucy was worried she was being robbed the opportunity of a childhood.

Apollo sat with Kira for a while, it was a very long wait. It wasn't just because Apollo had almost zero patience, but he was waiting for Teddy. The last time he had seen the bear he was cut up form the bones that flew out of the ground. He may not have fainted, but he was much more hurt then Apollo would have allowed. He was a baby. A cub. He didn't deserve to be hurt like that. After what felt like hours, which obviously wasn't, Joy reappeared, with a tray of all their Pokeballs. He collected his five, and listened to Joy explain their states. Luckily Teddy just had a few cuts, and was perfectly fine. He sighed with relief, and opened up Teddy's Pokeball, and let him out, as did Kira with Lucy. Teddy looked around, holding the poorly made rainbow scarf close to his chest as he looked around. Apollo snatched him up and hugged him tight."I won't let anything like that happen again Teddy. I promise." Apollo spoke nuzzling into Teddy's fur. "I'm going to make you keep that promise... That was the worst nightmare of my life. it was sooooo long" Teddy spoke, holding the scarf Iradessa made them tightly. "I need some more love and honey or I can not recover." Teddy spoke as if he knew what would help him heal better. He spoke matter of fact, even though Apollo couldn't understand him and Anthony was no longer around to translate. But Apollo knew what Teddy deserved, and reached into his pack and pulled out a jar of honey that Iradessa got them, and popped the lid off for Teddy. "The good stuff..." Teddy gasped as she began to dig into the jar which his bare claws and start chowing down. "Eat as much as you want Teddy. You deserve it." Apollo told him, babying him as he usually did. But Apollo wasn't spoiling him this time. He knew that after the nightmare he faced, he deserved some joy. "I told you we would make it, Teddy." Apollo told him, as he began to move back to Kira and Lucy. "Yeah. I bet Iradessa's lucky scarf kept us safe." Teddy spoke, smacking on the honey as he spoke. His now freshly washed fur was covered in sticky honey, at least on his claws and mussel.
It seemed that Lucy had already had the right idea, after Kira translated, in that they needed to stay the night. They were patched up, and clean, but they needed to rest. Apollo thanked her and agreed, as Nurse Joy lead them to their room. Apollo was not going to sleep alone after that nightmare, so he was more then happy to share a room with Lucy and Kira. Not that he would want to have his own room anyway. He picked the bed next to Kira and climbed in with Teddy, not bothering to change into actual Pjs, and fell asleep just as quickly as Kira did. Teddy, who had set the jar on the nightstand fell into his own honey induced food coma. Wearing: Not cute, but comfy.

Lucy, who had been watching over Kira throughout the night, also looked over Apollo and Teddy. The little bear had no lasting injuries, it seemed. That was good. He did have honey still sticking to bits of his fur. That made her chuckle. Apollo looked in about the same shape as Kira. Though she hadn't known him for nearly as long, she had started to like the other Trainer as well. He was the only other Human she would consider a friend.
The next morning, Kira could be seen tearing off all of her bandages, ignoring Lucy's protests that they were to help her heal. "I don't care, I don't want to deal with them." She retorted simply, as though that settled the matter entirely. She ruffled Teddy's hair and then went to the bathroom for a shower. When she returned, she smelled of fragrant soap and toothpaste. She plopped down on the bed next to Lucy and fished around in her backpack for the hairbrush now buried at the bottom underneath all the stuff they'd gotten out of the Tower. Well, at least she knew they hadn't been dreaming.
"Hey, Apollo?" She called for his attention with a curious expression. Her hand maneuvered the hairbrush, and she flinched every time she forced a knot out of her hair. "What should we do now?" It was the only thing she hadn't thought about the day before. After all that, she had no idea what to do. Exploring seemed so mundane now that they had seen that house of horrors. "I think there was a Pokemon Gym back the way we came." She offered the idea, though she wasn't exactly sure how she felt about it herself. Just then she remembered that she hadn't recalled Haunter into his Pokeball the night before. She began to look around for him. "Haunter?!" She called.

After the misadventure he had endured the day before, Apollo knocked out the second his head hit the pillow. To his luck, he didn't have any nightmares. He didn't have any dreams. He was not only physically but mentally exhausted and spent his night in darkness and he would much prefer that to a nightmare. In the morning, or if that's what you could call the morning, Apollo slept in as he usually did. He was sprawled out on his back, as much as he could on the twin sized bed, having one of his arms hanging over the edge in a deep sleep. Teddy was in the same boat, laying spread eagle on Apollo's chest in a deeper sleep, dead to the world, his extra fluffy fur in a large full body bed head. Apollo didn't stir until Kira had already risen and started to rip off her bandages, and argued with Lucy. He slowly woke up after hearing the door shut as Kira left. He groaned as he slowly woke up and winced at the sun light shinning into their bright hospital like room. He started to sit up, slowly moving Teddy onto the bed next to him, which Teddy didn't seem to notice as he continued to snooze. He sat up and swung his legs down onto the floor with another groan as he felt his sore and achy body. He was fit, and he had muscles, but this was another kind of sore he wasn't use to.
Apollo got up and began to get ready himself. He stayed in his comfy clothes, and left his bed head where it was sticking up in every which way, it was a look. He began out into the center and decided to move his team around a bit, he knew he needed to shift things... though he knew he couldn't fill the empty space he had on his team... It was too soon. But Apollo ignored that thought and made back for his room with a sigh, and sat on his bed, next to his sleeping cub. Kira returned from her shower soon after and sat with Lucy. She asked what they should do next. Apollo paused for a moment. What was there plan now? It seemed like a year since they were training and out and about... "I don't know really..." Apollo replied. He still had a hard time processing what he had seen the day before, but he knew if he tried to sit still for too long he might not get back out there. "Yeah, the next gym would be Lt. Surge, in Vermillion. We can head out that way if you want." Apollo commented. He wasn't sure if his Pokemon would want a break, but if they did he wouldn't force them to battle. But shortly after he agreed, Kira began to look around and call out to her haunter. Apollo looked about the room with his head, without moving from the bed, with a look of displeasure on his face. He wasn't afraid of the ghost after everything he had experienced, but he wasn't a fan of ghosts he couldn't see when he wasn't hunting them, after his experience in the Lost Hotel. Wearing: Not cute, but comfy.

Gunpowder and Lead! ♪ Kira shrugged, hinting that she didn't really care what they did. Nothing seemed to be high on her list of priorities after all of that. Lucy was safe, and so were her other Pokemon and Apollo and all of his other Pokemon too. That's all that really mattered in this moment. "Sure, we can go fight Surge." She offered. She had no doubt that he would be a walk in the park. After battling Oliver2, she wasn't scared of facing any Gym Leader. "Actually, yeah. Let's do that. I can go for hitting something right about now." Just like that, she started walking off towards the next Gym Battle, not realizing for a bit that she had no idea where he was or that she was going the wrong way until Apollo corrected her.

Apollo listened to Kira as she quickly decided to take on Surge. Wanting something to punch. Apollo was glad she was still the same as she was before. Spunky, brave, and up for anything. That was good, despite the burns, and the cuts they both shared, she was unaffected. "Okie dokie, sounds like a plan!" he agreed as they began out of the Pokecenter. He began to think, there was something he was suppose to remember about Surge, but he couldn't quite but his finger on it. He could remember the beefcake was in the military and there was something about him but he wasn't quite sure. He began to follow Kira for a moment before stopping to look away for a moment, reorienting himself, and smiled. He set Teddy down walked after Kira, trying to catch up, and caught her by her shoulders, stopping her, and then turned her around to face the correct way. "This way" he told her with a grin, snickering as he began to walk down the right path. He glanced back to her as he walked. "So, did you figure out where Haunter went?" He asked, reminding her that they were just looking for him after his disappearance over night. Teddy walked next to Apollo on the path, savoring the 'good' honey that Iradessa had gifted him quite a bit ago. Wearing: Not cute, but comfy.

At this, Kira paused. They were right on the edge of town, and she was ready to move on, but she couldn't leave her Haunter behind. "You don't think he went back to the tower-thing, do you?" She asked, being as specific as she could in the moment. There was something pulling at her attention. Something just felt... wrong, and she wasn't sure what, just chalking it up to the guilt of almost having left her Pokemon behind. "Haunter!" Her voice echoed in the eerily silent Lavender Town. "Where are you?!" If the Ghost-Type didn't hear her, or didn't want to come, she didn't see how she could make it. Then she saw him, rising from Teddy's shadow to hover just behind the bear. He'd been hoping to scare them all, but felt bad about making Kira worry. As it was, Teddy still had obviously not noticed, being completely absorbed in the honey it was smacking on. "OoOoOoO." Haunter moaned eerily, faintly, just loud enough for Teddy and Apollo to hear. Kira had been on the verge of saying something when Haunter leaned a little to the right, and made eye contact with the bear.

Apollo stopped with Kira as she remembered the search and looked back into the Town they were starting to leave. "No, I don't think so. Not without Darkrai taking him... and I think he was done with us." Apollo replied to Kira. He wasn't too worried about that. Darkrai wanted all of them for his collection, but he more so spoke out collecting him, Kira, Phineas and Thomas. Not so much their Pokemon. He couldn't imagine why it would come back just to take their haunter... At least he hoped not... Kira called out to him, and Apollo stood by and waited. He figured the ghost would at least hear, and show up. Apollo stood and placed a hand on his hip as he waited for the ghost to show, which he did. But not where he was expecting. He heard the malevolent voice but couldn't hear from where. Apollo looked around, after fighting the ghost in the Lost Hotel, and battling the ghost in Darkrai's tower, he wasn't scared of him, but he wasn't trying to spook him. He heard Teddy scream next to him. "No! It's back to get us! I don't want to be a trophie forever!" Teddy cried. Teddy panicked, and out of fear he raised his paw, letting his claws out as the flashed, and sliced at the ghost, using feint attack on the ghost he assumed to be Darkrai attacking, or Oliver2. Apollo plucked the screaming bear off of the ground, and pulled him away from the ghost he attacked. "Absolutely not! Are you sick and twisted?" Apollo shouted angrily. He pulled the shaking bear close to his chest, to make him feel safe. "After everything we went through yesterday, that's the trick you pull?" Apollo questioned and grit his teeth together. Apollo was usually an optimistic person, but if you messed with his friends, or Teddy in this situation, Apollo was going to snap. "Stay away from Teddy. I've helped exorcised stronger ghosts then you." Apollo threatened. He was protective of those he cared about, and would have defended Iradessa or Kira just the same, and Teddy was in his care. He was like his baby, so now Papa bear came out. Apollo turned on his heel and began to march off towards Vermillion. Wearing: Not cute, but comfy.

By the time Nurse Joy returned with her Pokemon, Kira had already made up her mind. "Thank you, Miss." Kira said, bowing her head slightly and leaving the Pokemon Center. She knew which direction she had to take to go straight from Fuschia to Lavender. It was the exact opposite way she'd taken coming into the City. However, it seemed the Nurse wasn't the only thing looking to say goodbye and send Kira off out of Town with a bang. Just as she'd left the City a wild Pokemon confronted her.
Noibat appeared in a flash of red and used Psychic to one-hit the sassy Machop. Kira felt kind of bad about that but went on her merry way. The road was long but eventually she came to a familiar Lavender Town. Looking up at the massive Tower she knew contained dozens of spirits trapped to this world she remembered her own experiences inside there.

So that explained the emergency that made him leave town so suddenly. "It's okay." She said, looking around for the Pokemon he'd just picked up. When she couldn't find one she figured it was in a Pokeball. That was a shame, because she'd have liked a clue to figure out what sort of team she was about to face. "Are you ready for our battle?" She asked. She'd come all this way, she hoped she wasn't going to be kept waiting much longer.
"Of course! The Pokemon Center has a place we can battle. I'll show you where." So it was that she followed along after him and they took their places opposite one another. "I'll tell you what. I've already seen your Pokemon. I'll let you choose first." Katie nodded and sent out Vibrava. "Oh, look at that. Your Trapinch evolved. I'm impressed." He thought it over for a moment, and then sent out an Onix. Kira couldn't help but smile. She had an Onix herself, it had been one of the first Pokemon she'd actively chased down to capture. Vibrava and Onix battled it out, but there was no way for the smaller Dragon to win against the much larger Pokemon. Still, she had done her job by weakening Onix via Earthquake Attacks.
It came down to Dragonair to finish off the rock snake and she did so beautifully. First she managed to freeze Onix after taking only a single hit herself, then continued the Ice Beams until Onix was far too Frozen Solid to break free. He returned the Pokemon leaving an Onix-shaped ice sculpture on the battlefield. Dragonair stayed out against an Omanyte and put up with the multiple Rock Blast attacks only to retaliate by bringing down Thunder attacks on the fossil.
Aerodactyl fell to a Larvitar, but Salamence retaliated. Using his speed and ability to fly to his advantage, he continued attacking so forcefully that Larvitar flinched over and over again. With the appearance of a second Onix the younger Trainer sent out her Charizard. When the sunlight became more intense his Solar Beam attack swept both the Onix and the onix-shaped ice crashing away from them. "Wow." He managed, staring. "I guess he still wasn't feeling 100 percent. He's not going to like being back in a Pokemon Center.' He sighed, tand Kira realized Onix was the Pokemon to fall ill and bring him back to Lavender Town to begin with.
Kira was dispirited when a Corsola managed to beat her big Charizard relatively quickly but she knew she wasn't out of the running just yet. Salamence returned to the battle. Just like before, his Zen Headbutt attacks brought in at flying-fast speeds made it flinch over and over again until Corsola was finished. "I'm impressed. Rock-Type Pokemon are my favorite, and for a Charizard to do that much damage really surprised me. You're as strong as I expected. Well, a deal's a deal." He digs around in his bag until he pulls out a Pokeball. "This is a Pokemon called a Jangmo-o.When it evolves, it is one of the only Dragon-Type Poekmon to receive a dual Fighting-Type. You earned this."

They did very well and she was quite proud of them. They had both come long way since she'd met them. Kira then returned to the Pokemon Center so she could request a room and sleep for the night. She had accomplished much over the past couple of days and she deserved a nice quiet night. The next morning she wakes up after having slept in late. It was about noon and she had little to do now, as she wanted to train more before facing the next Gym Leader. So she had options. She had to figure out now what she wanted to do.

Apollo made his trek into Lavender Town. He paced himself, jogging and walking. The motion had lulled Teddy in his arms asleep. Apollo cradled the little fluffy bear cub as he made his way to the town. Apollo didn't mind the quiet and alone time. He was still able to snuggle his little Teddy bear, but also think, which he didn't usually have time to do. Or he didn't give himself time too was more like it. As he made his way into the town, he realized that he hadn't been here or thought about it since he and Kira were dragged into that nightmare of a place. He was still worried about Kira at her insane exit, after blowing up a vending machine on her own with a sneeze, then ditching him. It had been a month and he was still worried about her. But he choice not to think about it, worrying didn't solve anything. He was on a race around the world, so he wasn't going to let it bum him out.
He made his way into Lavender, and was rather happy Teddy was in his napping state. He didn't want Teddy realizing his location and remembering Darkrai or the ghosts that were here in the Soul House. Apollo, while understandably uncomfortable about being back int Lavender town, however he didn't feel spooked out by it like how he heard some people talk. The town seemed calm and quiet. It was almost eerily normal, if anything. He made his way to the Pokecenter and collected his stamp and made his way back out. He wanted to get out of the town before Teddy woke up and started to freak out about the ghosts. Also, he lost a lot of time because of the bus route. He took about triple the time having to walk all the way to Lavender and then back to Saffron to catch the bus. At least he had a plan.... Elfana Aroway Elfana had managed to take all of three steps into Lavender Town when Kiro released himself from his Pokeball. The Croagunk let out a low croak, positioning himself close to his trainer. He didn't like the town. The town was calm and quiet but he was convinced the calm was a lie. There was something very wrong with Lavender Town and that hideous tower and his trainer did not need to be there! Elfana didn't question the Croagunk's need to rush her to the Pokemon Center. She trusted Kiro. The Croagunk remained close to the exit of the Pokemon Center while she got her stamp, his gaze fixed on the tower. "This place feels like that mansion." He muttered to himself, glancing back at his trainer to make sure she was still safe. He was not going to allow for a repeat of what had happened in Eterna Forest. As soon as Elfana was done with the Nurse, Kiro led her from the Pokemon Center and to the edge of the town, making sure to keep as far from the Tower as he could manage. The Croagunk was going to insist upon walking with her until they arrived in the next town at the very least. Elfana didn't mind. She enjoyed his company. Kanto

She visited the Pokemon Center with Lucy at her side and went right up to the Nurse Joy in charge. To her surprise, the woman remembered Kira. Apparently when you are involved in such strange and unexplainable events, you leave an imprint on people's minds. She told Kira how proud she was to see that, despite everything the poor girl had been through, that she was moving on with her life and earning so much. From there, Emiri planned to sweep through Kanto from east to west in order to make it over to the Johto Region as their final set of cities to finish off for the race. So it was, Emiri and her Pokemon made it to the boundaries of the Kanto Region early that same morning, ready to start making their way across each city.
First on their stop was Lavender town, the western most location in the Region, and a town that Emiri was familiar with, but actually hadn’t visited too terribly often. Lavender town didn’t have one of the region’s sanctioned Pokemon League gyms, so it was a bit out of the way for her to have visited before. Not that she hadn’t of course, she spent time in Lavender town plenty, especially with the abandoned power plant that was just to the north, but that was neither here nor there.
