Tucked away in the very southern tip of the Galar Region, Postwick is a small little town that thrives on its open skies and rolling hills all across its landscape. While Postwick doesn't have any of the League Stadiums stationed in the town or major shopping stores that are sprinkled through the region, it is still a vital and truly beautiful part of the region. It is known as a farming and residential community mostly, and the Pokemon that live here are exceptionally friendly, helping the people and farmers to make for one harmonious living space.

Elfana Aroway Postwick was...cute? Cute was a good way to describe it. It was a farming community but it wasn't as aggressive about the appearance as that hellhole in Alola. Galar was going to be one of the easiest regions to get through. There was no real divergence in her path. The backtracking was minimal compared to some of the other regions she had been to. All she had to do was follow the path. Pantalaimon was allowed to walk with her again. The Turtwig had run a little ways ahead, with Kiro close behind him. The Croagunk wouldn't let anything happen to him- not that he had to worry. Elfana doubted that they would encounter anything hostile in Postwick. Just a nice, peaceful walk. She was okay with that. They had done enough sitting in Alola. She wanted to stretch her legs a little. Galar

Postwik seemed like a little bumpkin town but to Grim it was freedom at it's finest. This was a region he could get lost in happily. Since setting that first foot off the boat he had felt an immense weight be lifted off of his shoulders. His parents would never find him here, he was free at last. But now what? Grim looked around and after a little deliberation he headed off down one of the lanes circling a small field. Maybe he would catch more pokemon? After all, getting a team together should be his first goal as a trainer. After that... who knew? Maybe he would take on the gym challenge or even try out a contest. He didn't know a whole lot about contests but it didn't seem all that bad from what he had seen. He knew he was clever enough for it surely. Either of his options required a full team, he'd figure the rest out after that.

 Grim headed further up the path and kept an eye out for any wild pokemon in the area. Of all the regions he liked the pokemon of Galar the most from what he had read and seen. Most were not only strong but also fast and energetic, the kind of pokemon Grim wanted on his team. He doubted he would find any hard hitters here in a town like this, but you had to start somewhere. He wasn't scared of putting in the effort to raise them. "Dree Dre!" Leer cooed in Grim's ear and floated off of his shoulder, circling his pokeball belt expectantly. It took Grim a few moments to realize what she wanted but once he did he obliged her with a look of amusement. Taking two of the pokeballs off of his belt he released Dune and Ronin, deciding it was good for them to get some fresh air and enjoy the sun. With a triumphant trill Leer immediately swirled around Ronin, nearly knocking the Rowlet off his feet. Dune watched the friendly interaction with a look that seemed both glad he wasn't in Ronin's position and envious at the same time. Grim was just happy they all seemed to get along.

Watching his pokemon, Grim couldn't help but feel a tiny smile make it's way to his lips. They were weirdly... innocent? Like small children almost, yet far more intelligent. He sat down on the side of the path and retrieved his sketchbook from his backpack, resting back against the grass and merely enjoying the moment. He sketched the pokemon with a smirk and let the sun warm him up as he drew. He wasn't really trying at the drawing, it was mere doodles compared to what he had drawn in the past, but a part of him wanted to capture the moment somehow. A little memento to their first day of freedom and his new team starting to come together. hopefully he would be able to find more teammates soon.

As Grim finished up his sketch the bushes further up the lane suddenly rustled, drawing the attention of Leer who gave Grim a chip of warning. Grim followed her gaze and slowly stood as a small nickit pounced out of the bush and growled at them. It was a tiny little thing but for some reason it seemed angry at them, but for what Grim had no clue. Though if it was a fight it wanted he would happily oblige. "Get him Leer." At his order Leer growled and shot forward, eager to prove she was just as strong as Ronin.
Leer used Quick Attack! Nickit took 40 damage! Nickit fainted! Leer gained 3 exp!

Grim arrived back in Postwick where it had all began. It was amazing how much had changed in such a short time. This time he decided to take the scenic route back to Hulbury to better train up his team along the way. A few members of his team needed a little more growth before he would be satisfied enough to move on to their next goal. He wanted to make sure everyone was ready and not rush head first into it. It was important that his pokemon had the chance to grow at their own pace. He headed along the road and took the moment to take in the scenery, a smile appearing on his face as he looked at the quaint little houses. Luckett and Raika joined him for the walk and trotted at either side of him. Honestly, he was in paradise.

Grim, Luckett, and Raika wandered the roads and slowly made their way through the little town. They were headed towards Wedgehurst but not necessarily moving fast, merely taking their time and enjoying the sun. It was a beautiful day out and both the grass type and the electric type at his sides seemed as happy as could be. This was what it meant to be a trainer, to travel the world with his pokemon and experiance things with them. It was an amazing feeling and one he wouldn't give up for anything in the world.

As they passed through the town and entered the outskirts, Grim smiled to himself. Raika was darting this way and that way along the road, sniffing at each new thing. Luckett watched on, his tail twitching as if in amusement. The two pokemon seemed to be enjoying themselves. With a fluttering feeling in his chest, Grim moved down the road and headed out towards the next town. He couldn't wait to watch them grow and see new things. Hell, he couldn't wait for himself to see those new things with them.

Church arrived in Postwick making good time and stopped for a quick break at a small bumpkin stall that sold drinks. He found a nearby bench and sat to enjoy his lemonade while he waited for the next boat. He ignored Chibi who collapsed at his feet panting from the effort of keeping up with the man's long legs. Chibi had never felt so tired in his sheltered life and already he could tell this was just the beginning. He wished he could just crawl back into his pokeball but he didn't dare do anything that might anger his new trainer. After a few minutes of catching his breath Chibi sat up and climbed onto the bench beside Church, sitting silently beside his trainer and worrying about the future.

"Finish it and then go throw it out." At his words the Grookey brightened a little at being given the rest of the drink, which was really only a few sips, and quickly drank what was left of the lemonade before struggling back off of the bench. He wandered over to the trash can and stared up at it for a long moment before gripping the can in his tail and scrambling up to the top. However as he reached the top the little monkey pokemon fell into the can with a screech of surprise. Shaking his head Church stood and walked over to he trash can, fishing Chibi out by his tail and dumping him on the ground at his feet.
"Useless." As Church walked off towards the docks Chibi followed, deeply hurt by the word. He wasn't useless, right?

Church headed for the docks and stood waiting for the boat to finally arrive. He was antsy to get to the fair and have a bit of fun to shake off the bad feeling he got thinking about his ex-gang. He would make then rue the day they thought they could kick him out. Without him they were nothing and they knew it. As soon as he had a powerful team he would make an even better gang and crush those mutts. The thought made him smile, which only grew broader as the boat finally arrived. He took his seat and impatiently waited to Chibi to clamber up onto the seat beside him before they were off to the Fair at last.

Church arrived back in Postwick making good time. He stepped off of the boat and immediately released Lilith who gave a big stretch and released a roar, startling those nearby. Church laughed at the passerby's reactions and felt a wave of satisfaction. One day he would see those expressions on his ex-gang member's faces as well. First he had to build a team that was stronger than the pokemon he had raised before, which would be quite a challenge. He headed off into the bumpkin town and made his way towards the road that led to Wedgehurst. If he wanted to take on the first gym he would need more pokemon, and the rolling fields beyond Wedghurst seemed like a good place to start.

"Hey! That pokemon is mine!" The kid shot a finger out towards Lilith and narrowed his eyes at Church, who thought the kid was acting a little too ballsy considering their huge size difference.
"I think you're confused, kid. Lilith here is mine, ain't that right girl?" At his words the Tyrantrum gave a sharp nod, glaring daggers at her previous owner as if considering eating the child. "I think you best scram and stop making a scene." Church added with a mean smirk at the kid, who took a small step back in return. For a moment he was sure the kid was going to actually throw a punch at him, but instead he turned and ran off, shouting back over his shoulder. "This aint over, asshole!" Church figured the kid was off to find a cop, so it was time to go. Not that the kid had any proof Church stole from him when the pokemon in question clearly choose Church, but he simply didn't like dealing with cops. They were a pain in his ass.

Church picked up the pace and headed onto the road leaving for Wedgehurst, Lilith following behind him and causing people to move out of Church's way nervously. It was nice not having to deal with anyone getting into his bubble, he could get quite used to this. It would definitely come in handy in the big cities where walking through the crowds could be a pain. Make way, here comes your future king. The thought made him smile as he walked. Someday people would cower at the name Church Blackburn. With a grin he vanished down the road, off to better pastures.

Half way there, Thomas needed to stop to rest and catch his breath. He sat down on a log to take a break. If not for Yamper's sudden and unexpected outburst of barking, Thomas wouldn't have noticed anything was happening. He turned around to spot a small Pokemon trying to take a Pokeball from his bag! "Hey, give that back!" he shouted. The Pokemon panicked and accidentally pressed the center button. A Pokemon popped out of the ball, and Snom was suddenly blinking at the Pokemon inches away from it's face.
Snom panicked and head-butted the Pokemon in the face. It fell back, knocked out on the ground. Thomas sighed, shaking his head as he got up and held out his hand to his Pokemon. Snom crawled up to his shoulder and Thomas picked up the unconscious Pokemon, carrying it over to a nearby secluded spot. He sprayed it with a Potion and left it to recover. "What a strange Pokemon... I wonder why it was trying to steal your Pokeball." He didn't suspect it was involved with any Human-related criminal activity.

Whatever lay in wait with this Region, so far things were pretty friendly and scenic. Thomas had no idea that half of his active party were native to this Region, but the two currently out and about were enjoying the town as well. "No sense in going to the Pokemon Center. Maybe, but that's not how he wanted to be. As he watched, a wooly sheep rolled down the street being chased by a boy. Yamper's butt wiggled about excitedly and it was clear that he longed to chase after it. "Go on, have some fun. Be safe, and don't go too far." He told the Pokemon. They weren't panning on being here all day and he hoped he wouldn't have to go tracking his Pokemon down all over town. Yamper yipped excitedly and took off after the sheep. Minako "Skye" Afton The Future Top Coordnator Of All Regions As she and her Galiga were enjoying the sights, off of the enarby fence into slumbering weald came a hoothoot which had fallen out of a tree. She was startled, but had her Galiga in battle mode ready to fight. The Pegasus waved it's wings angerly as the small owl Pokemon descended.  Hoothoot Level 2 Appered! GO, Aurora! Aurora Uses Gust! The Hoothoot is Instantly Knocked out! Minako opts to take the Hoothoot with her, catching it in a simple pokeball. The first pokeball it refused to stay in, so she taps it with a second pokeball, catching it in the pokeball. Minako and Her Galiga decide to head toward Wedgehurst so they could visit the train station possibly, and step out walking towards it and she now had an adorable owl with her as well. She'd selected the dragons she'd had in storage, because even though her primary team was away she'd had such a great time raising them from babies to the titans they are today. She wanted to repeat that feeling. She let Lucy out of her Pokeball and gave her oldest friend a big smile. They embraced, as it had been a while since they'd seen each other. "It's so good to see you again." She said, and Lucy returned the sentiment through their telepathic link.

With the new team of dragons in her roster ready to roll, Kira decided to let them all out of their Pokeballs and take some time to get to know them. Tyrunt, Goomy, Dreepy, and Gible all looked to their Trainer curiously. "Hey everyone, we're going to be travelling together for a while. I was hoping to go through this Region and battle the Gym Leaders with you all." They all looked at each other, and then smiled and nodded their agreement.
"Great!" She said, beaming at them. Then a small bug approached them, and Kira decided this would be a great opportunity to see what sort of drive for battle her Pokemon had. "Goomy." She said, looking down at her tiny dragon blob. "Would you battle this bug for me?" Goomy nodded, and moved forward. the battle was quick and, in truth, uneventful. Goomy used tackle. The opponent tried to fight back with Struggle Bug, but it wasn't enough and the next Tackle attack knocked Blupbug out.
"That was good, but Tackle isn't a great move to use." She was used to battling with top-tier fully evolved Pokemon, but even so she wanted to drive them at 100%. Full throttle. "If you have powerful moves, you should use those." Goomy looked sad to be told all this, but Kira sighed and smiled. Then she knelt down beside the Pokemon with a Potion. "It's okay, I just worry about my Pokemon. If you could have ended the battle in one move, you wouldn't have been hurt at all." She sprayed Goomy with the Potion to restore health. TL;DR
