 Earlier that day...
The day was flying by with Liz running to basically anywhere that nobody stopped her from running to. She was more engaged to do the kids' games than some of the children were! She hesitated at the petting zoo, not for fear of meeting live baby fossil Pokemon, but more for fear of intimidating young creatures. The buzzing redhead moved along quickly after ogling some of the Pokemon, trying to keep herself occupied more than focused. With help from Tonya and a little reluctant guidance from Duchess, Dana found her way to the nursery where baby Pokemon and activities littered the area. Dana had some small urges to participate. Be the little girl she felt she didn't get to be. She was watching children pet baby Fossil Pokemon when her Gear began to ring. She perked up as if unsure what the sound even was at first, then looked down to her device and pulled it out.
"Dana! Hi!" Cried the voice on the other end as soon as she drew up the screen. Dana cringed but smiled awkwardly all the same.
"Hello, mother." She answered uncomfortably, glancing around as if she thought someone was taking the time to spy on her. She stood and made her way away from the activities. "What brings you calling?" She asked, trying to keep an edge out of her tone. She knew why Mom was calling. That didn't mean she would be happy about it. She might as well make her way into the next space while waiting for her mother to hem and haw about until Dana tried to offer her a solution. That wasn't happening today, but Mom didn't know that yet.Partners:

(Earlier that day) Quinn and her Pokemon arrived at the nursery and petting zoo after a short walk. It seemed many people were enjoying this section despite it being oriented towards smaller children. She supposed that getting to interact with ancient Pokemon could be fun for anyone, including herself. However, she had other things on her mind and could not afford the time to dally here for too long. “Everyone, please stay together with me and let me know if you see anything amiss. This whole scene seems a bit too good to be true and I don’t like the feeling I have about it.” Cyan, Luxovious, and Sakura all nodded in response. They followed Quinn as they all looked around the place. Nothing seemed particularly awry. The fossil Pokemon were impressive, Quinn admitted, but she had no time for enjoyment. She did find it interesting how there were modern Pokemon of ancient lineages in the mix with the fossil Pokemon. What was most intriguing was seeing some Pokemon she had never heard of before. She did take a moment to read the information placards on these Pokemon, names Pfineri and Litisaur. Pfineri had a Ducklett-like bill while Litisaur had a long neck and was bigger than the other Pokemon in the exhibit. “So they also discovered new fossil Pokemon… Interesting. I wonder what else they may be hiding from the rest of the world…” Quinn said with great suspicion.

(Earlier that day) Eventually, Quinn and her Pokemon made their way to the tram to get to the next section she intended to visit. The other parts of the park were not as close to their current location as the nursery was to the entrance and, therefore, required the use of tram transport. Looking at the map outside the tram vehicle, Quinn concluded that the arcade and theme park would not be worth her time. So, she decided that their next stop would be the aviary and aquariums. These would then be followed by the herbivore sanctuary and then finally the carnivore sanctuary. Something about the fact that they even had an exhibit dedicated to more ferocious Pokemon while somehow creating a field that prohibited the use of Pokemon moves made Quinn uneasy. Still, she knew that she should check it out, but maybe leave it for last. The next tram to the aviary and aquariums arrived shortly thereafter, upon which Quinn and her team climbed onto. The short tram ride was exceptionally smooth and speedy while being comfortable

Roma slowly made her way off the tram and looked around as they reached the nursery area. Everywhere she looked there were cute little baby pokemon wandering about in paddocks, watched over carefully by tentative caregivers of course. She smiled and led her little band into one of the paddocks, pausing as she passed through a disinfecting room first.
"My, how fancy!" She whispered to herself as they were led into the larger paddock to meet the little dears. Almost immediately Roma was surrounded by little ones as she slowly got onto her knees and gave each one attention in turn. "Oh such sweet little dearies you all are!" She gushed happily, enjoying their company as she settled down to visit for awhile. They had plenty of time for other activities and she felt no need to rush, especially when the inhabitants of this area were so cute!

As the decontamination room started going off and the pool surged, Roma watched in horror but was unable to help. She was in no state to try swimming against a current, and her pokemon were all of the fire variety after all. Luckily, the caregivers were on the case and quickly rescued the little ones trapped in the swirling waters much to Roma's relief. To help as much as she could, Roma focused on the little pokemon around her who were now stressed and frantic.
"There there little ones, shhhh, its okay." She cooed, gathering them around her and coaxing them to calm down a little. Ash sat nearby, using his tails to distract some of the baby pokemon in a little game of catch the tail, twitching his tails back and forth as they pounced and rolled after them. Spectra and Rac did their part too, both talking to the little ones and trying to calm them down further.
Still, this turn of events had Roma worried. Even more so as an announcement came on a moment later saying to take shelter.
"Oh dear... dearies we must keep these little ones safe." She looked to her pokemon with a determined look about her and in return each of her pokemon nodded their agreement. Who knew what was running rampant out there?

Though she was still scared, Velvet entered the Nursery area cautiously. It didn't look like any of the caretakers or baby Pokemon were in the immediate area, so she relaxed a little, keeping her eye on the skies, literally, for those awful flying dinosaur Pokemon. Applin stayed snugly in her arms, too smooth for her to grip tightly. He was looking a little tired, but not too bad. Velvet stepped around a pile of droppings, grimacing at the smell, and kept on. A Roggenrola quickly tottered by, stopping to.. well, not stare at, since it only had an ear, but listen to? Velvet, who froze, hoping it would move on and not attack, and she breathed a sigh of relief once it was far enough away to be unable to hear. Another Gible appeared, just out of earshot, but as Velvet cautiously watched it and took another step forward, she stepped on a twig that snapped under her foot and made a loud enough noise to alert the on edge Pokemon to her presence. It looked right at her and screeched, running toward her with its teeth out, ready to attack.
Applin leapt down from Velvet's arms, hitting the ground with a thud, and readied himself for another fight.
Wild Gible level 7 appeared! Applin used Wrap! Hit 2 times! Gible used Chomp! Chomp failed! Applin used Bash! Gible was defeated! Applin gained 5 exp!
Applin grew to level 18!

A little Pokemon with a grey shield for a head and stumpy little legs ran by, startling both Velvet and Applin as they didn't see it until it made a cry like a small roar. It kept on running, but another was close behind, and it stopped in front of Velvet, scraping the ground with one foot and bellowing as loud as a baby Pokemon probably could bellow. It was another fight, and Velvet hoped that Applin would make it back to the resort area, if she couldn't find any healing items around. She thought she remembered there being a Pokemon Center around there, and even if they didn't have power, the nurses should still be able to help Oshawott and Applin. A Wild Shieldon level 5 appeared!

A flurry of horned strikes and Archen got smashed into the ground for the second time. It shuddered, the fell still as it tried not to draw attention to itself. "Good work, Kera. We should be careful moving forward." Kintaro stated calmly, fidgeting as he tugged his pants leg away from Pfineri's tiny paws trying to grip it. Kintaro moved forward with Gandor watching quietly for now, zipping around in search of interesting things to mess with. "Applin, I'm so sorry, I know you're getting tired but you're the only one who can protect us right now.. Please, keep fighting." Velvet's voice seemed to bring Applin snapping back to reality, as he'd sat dazed in his trainer's arms. She placed him on the ground to face off against a small but fierce-looking Archen that was standing in front of them screeching a challenge. Where had that come from? Applin blinked twice then shook his eyes, taking a determined expression and charging in to fight with a full-body Pound attack. Wild Archen lv 11 appeared!

Kintaro paused when Kera grunted and a small Litisaur stood before them with a tiny Aerodactyl on its back. How did they get an Aerodactyl to be so small? Kintaro had a moment, flashing back to the Mega Aerodactyl in the labyrinth. "Kera. Burn it." He demanded, ice in his tone as he stared down the Litisaur as if it were the long neck's fault for bringing something frightening before him. Litisaur flinched and Kera frowned before tackling headlong into Litisaur's chest. She didn't apologize to the Pokemon as the pair tumbled to the ground, she didn't even speak. She just followed orders and walked along. Kintaro hesitated for a long moment, Pfineri had flinched away at first when he ordered the attack but resumed following him all the same. Archen stopped to check on Litisaur and Aerodactyl briefly before moving along. Even after being attacked, the pair followed the trend. Litisaur got up and shook off the shock of being hit by the #Blessed Houndour, picked up Aerodactyl onto its back again, then lumbered slowly behind.

Finally, a path seemed to clear to the Resorts area, where no Pokemon stood between Velvet and her Applin and the exit between the Nursery and Resort. She looked around, cautiously watching for rogue Pokemon, especially from the air, then once she was satisfied that it was actually clear and safe, Velvet dashed for the exit, clutching Applin close. As she ran for it, she happened to spot a dropped backpack, and she, against her better judgement, decided to snatch it up. Once she felt safe enough again, Velvet rummaged through the retrieved bag, finding healing items she could use to help her Pokemon. She used the Revive immediately on Oshawott's Poke Ball, sighing in relief as it glowed to indicate that Oshawott was back up to some health, and then she used a Super Potion she'd already had on Applin to heal him back up a bit too. The rest of the items were stashed in her own bag, and the empty one was discarded in the closest trash can. She figured if whoever's bag it was was okay, they wouldn't mind someone else using their things to help them get through this; it certainly wasn't doing them any good lying around where they couldn't reach it, after all. She also noticed that her Applin seemed to be holding a small apple core, but when she assumed it was garbage and attempted to take it to also throw it away, Applin screeched and wriggled until she let him keep it. Revive used on Oshawott

Back in the Nursery and Petting Zoo area, Velvet could clearly see that it was currently deserted. Nobody was making their way through or battling and she didn't see any Pokemon visible, like they'd all gone to hide somewhere else on the island with more cover. Moving through like it was a ghost town, Velvet and her Applin were spooked by pretty much every little sound, but nothing happened. Velvet jumped a few inches straight into the air as a discarded bag from one of the island's foreign restaurants moved in the wind, creating an awfully loud rustling sound out of nowhere, making her think she was being attacked. Luckily, it was just a paper bag wrapped in a plastic bag in the wind, as stated. She kept on moving, looking at Applin for comfort, and seeing him looking where she wasn't to keep a good few eyes out on their surroundings. Velvet kicked the bag, mad that it dared to scare her with its sudden scary rustling out of nowhere like that. It went rolling away in a breeze, leaving the area silent as the grave again. Velvet shuddered at the phrasing of her thoughts, hoping that it wouldn't become her grave, and rushed toward the gate separating her from the Herbivore Sanctuary. She stopped short of the entrance, seeing how dark and gloomy it was, especially with the storm still rolling in at a pretty good rate. It would be dark and hard to see and hear in there, and briefly she considered running back the way she came, back to the Resort area and maybe relative safety, but she braced herself and stepped through. Nearly five minutes passed before Elfana thought to speak. "Elfana Aroway. I'm a doctor but I'm not park staff. I'm actually competent. Elle is fine if you would prefer a shorter name. Doc is also acceptable." She kept her tone as even as she could in her current condition. Her natural monotone was working in her favor. "Begin listing off basic information about yourself. Home region, date of birth, favorite color...It doesn't have to be anything significant. I'm trying to determine the extent of your injury. The vision loss is cause for concern but I imagine you're dealing with a concussion. While not ideal, you'll recover." Getting off of the island would do wonders for her recovery process. Excess stress would only make her injury worse. "If talking about yourself is awkward, I can do the same in return." Elfana went quiet after that. Her bedside manner was kind of improving! She had thought to say something she felt was somewhat reassuring. While she clearly needed more practice, it was a step in the right direction.
They were in the Nursery before Elfana even realized how far she walked. She had no idea how long she had been silent for her. She had gone into autopilot mode. The thing that snapped her out of her daze was the familiar gentle tremble in the earth beneath her that came from Kiro taking offense to something wandering a little too close for comfort. This time it had been a curious Larvitar. It had taken an interest in the smaller Pokemon with them. The shaking tripped it up and it scurried off after having been thoroughly startled. Elfana stopped at a nearby bench, setting Liz down before nearly falling on to the bench beside her. "Not too much further now. I need a minute before we continue on." She was glad her temporary travel companion was unable to see her. She must have looked an absolute wreck. "I don't know about you but this is easily the worst vacation I've ever been on." The doctor grinned slightly as she glanced back in the direction she had come from, checking to see if any of her other companions had found them yet.

Faithe made it to the nursery area entirely unbothered by the wild pokemon mulling about, perhaps having been free for as long as they had been had, calmed them down some, or maybe she just wasn't drawing that much attention by herself. Either way she wasn't that far away from the entrance now. As she entered the nursery area she noticed some others had started to filter in as well, she noticed, well, two people a bit of a distance, they were moving in such a way she was pretty sure they were injured. one, if not both of them was injured. Faithe decided she would go to the two, and see if she could help somehow, she wasn't entirely sure how she could help, she didn't have any medical knowledge, and none of her pokemon really had any capabilities in that regard either, maybe Teriyaki could help keep them warm, but that would be about it. Faithe shook some more water out of her hair and moved in toward the two. "Hello, do you need help?" Faithe asks as she approaches.

Now that he thought about it, he probably should had waited for the rest to actually start moving. Or decide to start moving - who the hell knows what the man, he still had no idea what his name was, decided on and enforced on the rest. Although, he didn't really care, as he takes orders from no one except himself. And, well, his own well being meant to him more than well being of other people - especially when he isn't being paid for it. Normally Vale would try and help, but this wasn't school nor willing volunteering work or anything.
He didn't even notice when he made it to the nursery, though. Thankfully aquarium wasn't all that far from it, and so he managed to just power walk all the way there, without really looking ahead. And as a result he almost walked onto some small, brown Pokemon - who looked more frightened of him than Vale should be of it, but it still held its ground and made a pathetic noise that was probably supposed to be intimidating. He paused, looked at the Pokemon and then looked behind, to see if at least Kieran was still with him. The Zoroark, thankfully, was still trailing behind him, although not so happy to walk so much.
"Kieran, could you bop it lightly?" he asked, and Zoroark nodded hesitantly, as he then used Burning Jealousy. Well, it wasn't necessarily a 'light bop' but it did the trick and the poor Pokemon skittered away.

The nursery was painfully uneventful, but maybe he shouldn't actually complain about that. He saw a glimpse of that red-haired girl from aquarium (he probably heard her name on the passing, but he couldn't really remember), along with two other people he didn't know, but.. that wasn't really his problem. Maybe if others were actually with him, Vale might had stopped by and ask, but now with no witness, he didn't bother.
It wasn't as painfully uneventful, because the startled nursery Pokemons were running around fancy free, or more or less just getting themselves lost in the chaos. And between everyone's legs. One of those peculiar critters was just a simple Roggenrola, and he managed to notice it just before stepping on it and potentially hurting his legs (again). Kieran didn't really had anything particularly good against it and just tried whatever he could, but the Pokemon wasn't necessarily strong anyways, and so after an imminent defeat, it ran away.
At this point Vale hoped that the other people from aquarium (or at least those he wanted to survive) already started to move and were closer to the hub than further, and so he speed up a bit. If Grace was really going to get them out, he should hurry up, so he gets onboard.. of whatever she hopefully prepared.
