Nearest to the Main hub of the island is the care center for the younger and more friendly Pokemon. This center is close enough to the main hub, it can be walked to, however automated trams have been made available for those who are unwilling or unable to do so. This area is a located inside a relatively short paddock comparatively to the others, that has pathways leading around it to the other attractions in the park. The paddock has a circular shape to it, and is possibly only a single story tall. There appears to be very little staff members atop to watch or guard because of the nature of this attraction. Once crossing the doors and venturing inside the entry way, all persons and Pokemon must wait in holding as a sanitizing mist is sprayed on them to disinfect them before going in and interacting with actual prehistoric Pokemon. Once inside, the areas are fenced off to keep Pokemon that can coexist together. Since these were fairly young Pokemon, they didn't seem to fight for territory or food. So the area is split into three sections. Land, and water being the main ones. The land section was mostly a flat grassy area with trees and shrubbery in it. The land base Pokemon were able to roam about the area together, and interact, while a staff member was tending to the young Pokemon. The Water section appeared to be a beach that lead into water that was fairly shallow. There was one or two trees growing on the beach to give the Pokemon shade as needed while the staff member waded through the water to assist the Pokemon. The third section seemed to have both a grassy and beach like area in it. This area held the new starring Pokemon that is native to only this Island, Litisaur, and Pfineri. These Pokemon inhabit this area and are closely studied and cared for the their staff member. All three areas are open to any one who chooses to enter them. A staff member will be there to assist and aid the Pokemon and trainer alike. However if the trainer or Pokemon show any since of aggression, or the prehistoric Pokemon are made to feel uncomfortable the staff will remove the person in causing this without warning.

It is a green color mostly, however it varies form lighter to darker greens all across it's body, but starts to mostly lighten towards it's underbelly. It has a long neck, long slender tail, and pointy claws on each hoof and what would be it's knees. The Pokemon has a hard armor like scales that have started to grow up it's chest and up it's neck. These seemed to have started to grow on these Pokemon to help defend them starting at a young age. Naturally they have large light blue eyes while a sharp horn sits on it's head. Behind the horn seems to grow leaves and short small plants down the back of it's neck. On it's back sprouts leaves that will grow down it's side f left untrimmed. During the spring seasons, small flowers have been known to grow on it's back. Litisaur is a calm Pokémon that lived over 100 million years ago. They live in well forested areas, with lots of greenery and plant life to live off of. However, this has made them very available to prey so this has caused them to develop the scale like armor and horns over centuries of life. Despite its restoration, it is not expected to live long in the drastic heat or cold of current climates.  {Pfineri (Click)} Name: Pfineri Height: 1 foot Weight: 20 lbs Pokedex Entry:This Pokemon are often able to sense the nature of others, finding it easy to decide if someone is a friend or foe. Evolution:Pfineri evolves into Parahadroni Physiology:Pfineri are Bipedal Pokemon that resemble a young Parasaurolophus. Their bodies are mostly a light blue from it's face down to it's tail, while it's underbelly is an even lighter blue. These Pokemon have very strong bills they use to keep them safe while swimming at quick speeds but also to help them find and dig up food if needed. Their bills are a darker blue and seem to continue up over the tops of their head as a form of helmet. They have light pink spots on the center of their bills, as well as the underside of the helmet, or back side of their heads, are also a light pink. Their bodies have more of a roundness to them that able them to move easily in the waters. They swim quickly using their short arms with webbed fingers, and also their thick tails. They also are able to move fairly easily on land with their short nub like legs.  |

 Alice arrived at the first attraction of the park and slowed her pace, letting her two pokemon catch up as they approached the fossil dig. Internally, Alice was waging a war between wanting to participate and not wanting to be seen as a little kid. It wasn't childish to dig for fossils, right? She was a researcher after all. Sure, fossils had little to do with her research of pokemon moves... but it had to still count. Right?
In the end Alice decided to give it a try, although as she entered the fossil dig area she could feel her face flushing with awkwardness. Please don't let him pass by here! She silently begged, horrified at the thought of her brother seeing her digging in the dirt like some little brat. She tried to keep those thoughts from her mind as she signed in and got her shovel, feeling her excitement return as she was led to a little area that looked like an excavation site from one of the books. She knew it wasn't, of course. It was likely made to look that way and simply had useless fossils hand-buried throughout it, but knowing this did little to dampen her mood.
The moment she was allowed to do so she scoped out a corner of the site and went to work, sifting through the loose dirt along the surface to find herself a fossil of her own. She didn't really care if it was a useless fossil. Part of her merely wanted one for the pure fact that it had always been a dream of her kid-self to dig one up. How many times had she dug holes in the park near her house? Enough to get in trouble, but not enough to have ever found one. Now, even though it was rigged, she could finally dig one up!
It took her about ten minutes of sifting with her shovel before she noticed something tumble off the side of it and back onto the ground. As she leaned down to pick it up she recognized the familiar shape of a fang. It wasn't too large and fit neatly in the palm of her hand, it's stony exterior smooth to the touch. The tip wasn't sharp by any means but Alice assumed that was likely for the sake of a kid not getting hurt in their park. Perhaps it had been filed? Either way, she was happy with her little souvenir as she returned her shovel and exited the fossil dig with Nyx and Valefor. Maybe she could find something to fasten it into a necklace during her stay here.
Dream accomplished, Alice headed for the arcade area next.

Actually, come to think of it, the petting zoo and nursery seemed like the best and easiest way to start and introduce people to those new Pokemons. They weren't as aggressive and easy to set off as the older ones, at least. And theoretically, it should be easier to photograph them too, without worrying about getting your face eaten. Putting the fact that the rest of the island isn't accessible without going stopping by, it didn't seem like all that bad idea.
Still, he get there by the tram, saving himself time and energy. Besides him, the other white-haired girl was also going, making them the first ones to break from the crowd then. He didn't see her later, after leaving the tram, and Vale walked towards the doors leading to the 'attraction'. Before passing through, he saw that it required being sprayed with a sanitizer. Well, he could deal with that and he understood why - outsiders like them absolutely will bring something the Pokemons born in here aren't used to, and can fall sick. He was using to that stuff, given his profession. But since it pretty much meant he couldn't just send out a Pokemon once inside, he took a PokeBall out of his bag,
Vale wanted his Pokemons to equally enjoy the place, although their sizes were making it rather difficult. Well, Kieran wasn't that big, but he might look a bit too scary for those Pokemons - and without Illusion, he won't be able to make himself smaller or cuter. So for now he settled with Caspian, as he was most flexible. He didn't seem to be too happy about the sanitizing mist, but there was nothing they could do.
As they passed the door, he realized he forgot to check if photos were allowed. Oh well. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

Once they passed through the gate, Caspian shook his body, trying to get comfortable with the sanitizing. Vale brushed his hair a bit, for the exact same reason - he could deal with it on his clothes.
He then looked around, impressed by the size of the area. Obviously it won't be as big as the so called sanctuary or the aviary, but it was still pretty big. And indeed full of Pokemons, wandering in their 'habitats'. Vale was still skeptical about all the 'genetic modifications' and turning them into a 'pure type' - it sounded crazy and almost.. unethical? Was Rock type really not that natural for them? Well, so far the Pokemons seemed just fine, acting like normal, if very young. There weren't fossil Pokemons only, as he was able to spot a Gible and a Roggenrola on the land portions. But as they walked along the fence, towards the water portions, he noticed some staff checking on some of the Pokemons or just patrolling. So far he must been the first visitor, but it was fine. At least along the way he found a plaque explaining 'do and don't', and thankfully photos were allowed. He was about go further, when Dewott tugged his jacket, to get his attention. As he looked down, Caspian then pointed at something behind them - apparently someone else joined the 'zoo'. Which was to be expected, but what he wasn't quite prepared to see was a weird Pokemon. Well, apparently it wasn't just some kind of marketing scam, and there really were some brand new fossil Pokemons. He could take a photo of it, but he didn't want to include the woman on them - mostly because it would be rude to do so, without her permission.
There was plenty of them, actually. And not just this one - second one looked a bit like an Amaura, except green and had plants growing on its back. Could it be a Grass type then? He looked at the plaques again, but he could only find names of the strange Pokemons, and no types. That was.. strange. Why would they be excluded? Unless even the park managers had no damn idea WHAT they resurrected... which was worrying.
"It's kind of cute, don't you think?" he hummed, asking his Pokemon as he withdrew his phone. Caspian only twitched his whiskers, as he observed the Pokemon, Litisaur, who was calmly chewing on some grass.
Not wasting more time, he turned on the camera and tried to take a good photo of the creature. He managed to take two, before the Pokemon raised its head and then trotted in their direction. Vale wasn't quite sure what it was going to do, but it seemed friendly. It stopped two meters or so before him, tilting its head.
"Hi?" he said, waving his hand at it. The Pokemon blinked, stepping a bit closer. "You aren't mad I took the photos, are you?"
To that they gave him a bit puzzled look, before wagging their tail and inching closer and making a noise as if it wanted to sniff them. Cautiously, he reached his hand towards it, partially afraid it will bite him. But the Pokemon only sniffed it and nudged gently, prompting Vale to pet its head. As scary it could be, it was also really thrilling, to touch a never seen before Pokemon. And he knew he was being irrational - they were just babies, and it was what the petting zoo was about. Surely the park managers wouldn't just put something that could easily bite someone's hand off in such place, right? "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

It did not take long for faithe to catch sight of the cyan hair once more. Though as she followed the girl, the area she headed into caught even more of her attention than the cyan hair had. The baby pokemon were way too cute. Blaziken felt what was coming. Faithe's posture started to all but vibrate with extremely excitable energy. She took in a deep breath her eyes widening in delight, and before she could let out a prolonged squeal of delight Teriyaki clamped her hands over the girl's mouth so that all that escaped was a muffled "EEEE!" Faithe didn't miss a beat, she was more than accustomed to the way Teriyaki could behave sometimes. Or rather, how Teriyaki worked to keep Faithe from acting too foolish, which right now was a very good thing. While Faithe loved pokemon, sometimes she was way too excitable for the more skittish baby pokemon.
Faithe went straight for a Litisaur. Its interesting contrast of fleshy and stony texture and the foliage growing on its body made this pokemon something she was pretty sure she hadn't personally seen before. "You are absolutely the cutest~ ow!" Faithe was cut off calling this new dinosaur pokemon experience by Mozilla biting her finger.
"Feh" she protested as she glared up at her trainer.
"Cutest, dinosaur." Faithe finishing what she was saying with an annoyed look down at Mozilla. "Look, Mozi you can behave, or you can take a time-out in your pokeball little lady." Faithe states quietly, yet firmly, scolding her pokemon. Mozilla grumbled some but eventually gave an accepting nod before turning to look at the dinosaur too. Faithe held out a hand and waited for the Litisaur to respond, eventually earning a light headbutt to the palm of her hand. Faithe let out a surprisingly well controlled little squeak of delight, likely tempered by the fact that Teryiaki was standing directly beside her and she did not want to earn another bonk. It took a bit of petting, and cooing with the Litisaur for Faithe to remember, she had a mission, this mission had cyan hair. The fire of excitement re-ignited in her eyes as she gave a little air-kiss goodbye to her new Litisaur friend. "gonna meet the other new babies~" Faithe coos sweetly before giving the Litisaur a last little pat on its head. Faithe turned about and honed in on the girl with the incredible cyan hair.
She pretended to be closing the distance casually, but she wasn't, and it was fairly obvious. After a few seconds of pretending she was close enough now to be able to reasonably spark a conversation with her intended target. Faithe knelt down, more than happy to also meet some of Pfineri too. "Hello. I'm Faithe." Faithe states rather suddenly staring directly at the cyan haired girl a grin wide across her face.

He pointedly ignored the noises behind - clearly someone else joined and he decided to leave that to the cyan-haired girl instead. In the meantime, he petted the strange Pokemon and then let it go, once it had enough. But Litisaur still acted very politely and after waving its tail at him, it returned to his grassy meal in peace. At least Vale got few photos of it, and it was enough.
Thankfully he didn't need to go or look too far to find another Pokemon - the Pfineri one. It was resting in a shade casting by a tree, completely unbothered. And Vale didn't want to wake it up, and instead took some photos of it. As for now, he was satisfied with the results. Now, he will wait with sending the photos to his brother until he leaves the area - it would look rather stupid to stand here and type on a phone. Instead, he and Dewott continued their visit, observing the fossil and non-fossil Pokemons coexisting. At least for now - they will surely still grow and mature, right? Could they evolve if attacks and abilities were 'disabled'? That was another reason why he was skeptical about the whole thing - was it really good for them to never use their naturally acquired powers? He had an ugly feeling that it might backfire, but maybe not with those Pokemons - but the older, evolved ones.
He closed his eyes for a moment, pushing it all away. So far nothing was happening, and he should be grateful for even being here. As he opened them again, he saw Caspian pointing at some Pokemon, that was playing in the water. Well, it looked like Ursula, his Shiny Omanyte, except blue. Despite being 'purified' from Rock type (how ridiculous that sounded), it retained its shell. Maybe types weren't that deeply connected to their appearance, after all. He also spotted a Shellder, Clamperl and Whimpod, all enjoying sun and clean water.
Satisfied with his current visit, he turned back to the entrance. Thankfully both women seemed to be focused on each other and their Pokemons, making it easier to leave and not engage - he now wanted to see the attractions, and then get to know other people better. Although he wanted to and see the aquarium and aviary next.. Well, for now he will go to the arcades and see if any of the prizes were worthy the hassle. "Poor George, you can kill him, but you’ll never kill his pride"

With the startled squeak coming from her cyan-haired target, Faithe fell from her perch onto her butt with a look of surprise followed by a giggle "I fell on my butt." She notes with a snorted-laugh mostly to herself but there was now way Hana would have not heard it "they really are super cute~" Faithe mewls as she reaches a hand out to one of the Pfineri. She would have scooted closer to Hana, but her butt was planted now so, that was that. "Hello Riven, Odyss, and Alatus. They do~!" Faithe chirps excitedly as she lifted Mozilla up with both hands "This, is my ferocious little princess. Mozilla! I did start in Kalos." Faithe chimed happily as she held out Mozilla like a prize winning show animal. Mozilla lifted her head and puffed out her chest proudly. "Hehe. yep, just like that." she says with a light giggle "AW you gotta froakie froggie!?" Faithe responds brightly "Hmm I would love to meet your lil froggie later~!" she chimes as she rocked from one side to the other taking note that she did not see a froakie with Hana. She saw a interesting Ekans that looked different from any Ekans she had seen before she was pretty sure, as well as a big ol' Chesnaught, and a pokemon she was pretty much certain she had never seen before. Faithe blinked a few times as she tried to figure out what Riven was sure it isn't like she has seen all of the pokemon that exist, but she felt a relative familiarity with most of them thanks to her families line of work. While she was a bit lost in thought Teriyaki let out a little, throat clearing sound, clearly awaiting her introduction. "OOoh! and this is Teriyaki. She's actually Dad's blaziken. but like, we grew up together so she is sorta more like my pokemon big sister, and apparently she decided that she would join me." Faithe states with an odd little giggle as she motioned back to Teriyaki who let out a fairly proud sound and nodded her head towards Hana. "ooh I also have a new friend with me, that a mysterious old man gave me. I don't know who they are yet though... and I don't think, around these lil guys would be the best time to meet them." Faithe states with a nod as she picks the pokeball off of the strap of her satchel. The pokeball had a somewhat, old slightly weathered look to it. "OH right~! Uhm... I haven't seen a pokemon like Riven before... What kind of pokemon?" Faithe questions lowering her voice because she was worried maybe it would hurt Riven's feelings not being recognized.

Velvet opted to take the tram to the Nursery area, then walk to the arcade from there. It would be much easier on her legs, especially after not having rested between getting off the ship to the island and getting to the train. Oshawott wanted to walk, so she was placed on the ground and firmly told not to run off. Oshawott nodded, also having absorbed some of the safety and regulation speech from right after the train, and seemed a bit more subdued than earlier in the trip. Either she was worried about hurting another Pokemon, getting hurt herself, or a more likely option, she was getting tired from all the excitement.
Velvet passed by the dig station, definitely noting it for later but not interested in trying quite yet. She and Oshawott entered the spray station, getting covered in the cleansing spritz, then moved into the first pen. A few people were dotted around this particular paddock, and Velvet wanted to get through to the arcade sooner than later, so she continued through the first pen, then the second one to the marked exit.

Faithe tipped her head to the side momentarily "it was just my butt. I fall on that all the time." She states with a giggle and a short nod. "FEH!" Mozilla huffed loudly and stamped a foot indicating to Faithe that she did not hold her out properly so she could receive attention from this friendly new trainer. Faithe chuckled lightly and held the demanding little Fennekin out so that Hana could pet her if she wanted.
"It would seem Mozilla likes you, and would like it if you would pet her~" Faithe muses sticking her tongue out some at the bratty little expression made by Mozilla she was a very demanding little firefox, but a delight Mozilla proceeded to do a litle trot in Faithe's extended hands before sitting and lifting her head high an incredible expression of pride on her little foxy face.
Teriyaki gave a light bow and responding chirp to Hana. Faithe's eyes all but lit up when Riven spoke. "You can talk~!" Faithe mewls excitedly, sure she knew some pokemon could talk but it was always so very exciting to meet one. "I have never met a Sirene before, its really neat to meet you." Faithe adds excitedly bobbing her head though at the word 'dress' her expression changed her grin became almost mischievous there wasn't much material around, and she was at least a solid 80% certain they would frown upon her gathering a bunch of materials here, but her mind was racing now with things she could make that Riven could wear. Since her tentacles formed a natural dress she would need maybe a hat, or a vest, or a really sparkly scarf. Before the charging bombastic energy could overflow Teriyaki planted a hand on top of Faithe's head, holding her in place. The blaziken let out a soft, but terse sound informing Faithe that she was not allowed to open her satchel and start a big mess with someone she had only just met. Faithe's expression puckered some as she rolled her eyes up trying to look at Teriyaki. "...I was gonna ask permission first, i swear." Faithe states plaintively to the overly defensive Blaziken. Teriyaki tapped her palm on Faithe's head a couple of times before relenting. "...OKAY~! So... Your hair is SO super pretty, and I really wanna braid your hair! and I REALLY want to make you, Riven, either a vest, hat, or super sparkly scarf~!" Faithe excitedly charges through the statement having barely stopped to take a breath and only just giving enough space between each word so it would stay intelligible. Teriyaki sighed and face-palmed, but it was at least better than the last time she got exctied and surprised a random customer at their ranch with a confetti-glitter bomb and a scarf suddenly wrapped around the customers head.

She shook and much of the sand and dirt off of herself as she could and helped Rosalyn clean herself up before exiting the fossil dig. Briar had been expecting to be a total mess after leaving the dig but it was nowhere near as bad as she thought. Instead of putting her hoodie back on, she tied the sleeves around her waist. It was far too warm to be wearing it all day. "On to the arcade then?" If there was anything else that her Pokemon wanted to see in the area, she would stop there first. Marcellus looked at the scenery that was full of nature, which he thought was so beautiful. But once he came to a stop at the nursery he felt they didn't really have anything to gain petting the fossils. They might circle back for Novu, but now, they didn't have any need to stop.  Odyss had gone on with Hanako as soon as she made her way toward the next area. He was awestruck almost immediately by some of the Fossils he'd heard about in the past. It was a lot of Pokemon he'd never seen before as well! He was lost in the nursery, observing Pokemon new and old and taking a little time to enjoy the normal Pokemon he did know. The purified Fossil Pokemon were a trip all their own as Odyss could tell almost immediately that they were a lot less sturdy than the stories he'd heard. Granted, he was expecting tanks like himself, so Kabuto and Omanyte were kind of a let down for him. He decided to reach into one pen, letting a Shieldon headbutt his outstretched fist. It stung but he felt like they had bonded just then. He looked around only to realize Hanako had left him behind...guess Riven really didn't like him. Oh well. He had to stay with Miss Lucali!

  【 ＯＵＴＦＩＴ┃ Light weight green tank top, dark green shorts, and hiking boots.┃ ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ | In the Pokecenter | ＷＩＴＨ┃ Elfana ┃ ＴＵＮＥ ┃ In the woods somewhere】Cypress wasn't surprised when Elfana said she wanted to study practically every exhibit. This practically was what she did for work, mostly. But Cypress could already tell that it also was her hobby as well, you study and learn what she could about Pokémon. Cypress would admit that she was biased towards the herbivore sanctuary. She was a grass trainer after all, she assumed that there would be more grass types there, as well as it seemed easier for her little Turtwig and Nincada to experience without scaring them. But she knew with Elfana they were probably going to visit all of the habitats. Cypress didn't have a problem with it, she just wanted to make sure her Pokémon weren't being roared at by a wild tyrantrum. She looked back to Elfana as she agreed with the idea of going to the Herbivore Sanctuary. She nodded, as they continued to make their way. " I wouldn't be against getting to see the aquarium next, that sounds like a good idea actually." She added to Elfana. After being out in the sanctuary and sun she thought it would feel great getting to be in an aquarium, usually they were inside so it might feel going to cool off. While Elfana seemed to be alright with a leisurely stroll through the park, however Cypress generally needed a set plan, not wanting to end up on the opposite side of the park. She didn't stop at any of the maps, but she did try to pay attention to the signs. When she heard the question, Cypress couldn't help but let out a sound of disgust. Not everyone had the displeasure of seeing the monstrosities from Galar, but she had. They were awful, She didn't agree with making Pokémon test subjects, but that was just cruel. Stitching Pokemon together with other Pokemon that did not belong together. She could only imagine they were suffering. Cypress shook her head to try and shake off her anger. " Possibly, It would be nice to see them alive the way they're supposed to be." She commented. " I can't imagine that perky manager wanting to get anywhere near those creations though. They might have left them to Galar." Cypress added. The operations manager seemed to be pretty smart and on top of her game business wise, she couldn't imagine this island wanting to get anywhere near them if they were wanting to create an authentic experience. As they walked, they seemed to bypass the trams to the Petting Zoo area. While Cypress needed to have a direct path, she wasn't against getting to walk and see everything long the way. The island was definitely beautiful, and the plant life along the way definitely appeared to her to be well cared for and authentic. As they came up on the Petting Zoo and Nursery Paddock, she looked up at it as they grew closer and closer. It was a sight to see, it was tall walls with a secure entrance, she assumed to keep the dinos in. She wasn't sure if she should be expecting for all of the sanctuaries to be like this, which if so, she didn't exactly think this was a sanctuary really. It showed that it was a nursery and petting zoo, so it made sense to be more closed in, but she couldn't help but hope they made good use of their island. " I don't suppose you want to take a stop here?" Cypress asked Elfana, as she pointed to the tram that appeared to be going towards the herbivore santuary. If abilities and such were squandered here, he could hope that she wouldn’t be able to see what a petting zoo involved if he didn’t go that way, so he steered clear of that section. The last thing he wanted was for her to go into a rage about the audacity of it all, this place already felt like one big side show attraction the way they were making this out to be some luxury experience above all else. For his own sake, Finn could only hope that this petting zoo was sanctioned so that these smaller Pokemon weren’t getting harmed by patrons, or exploited for that matter… Didn’t that Grace woman mention something about a water themed show? He’d rather not think about that either… The moral implications of this place were already far too skewed for him, knowing what he was, he didn’t need to add more to it. The more satirical side of himself though almost, almost, had to wonder, if their science was so great and better than nature, what could be done for something such as him…? It would be an argument for sure, one that she knew Charizard would have strong opinions about because they didn’t have to come visit this place at all, but then it would have come down on both of them that they were just shutting themselves out of the world again and not putting forth the effort of at least trying to be normal after all this time… Granted, Emiri really wasn’t sure what normal was any more, or if there ever was a normal, she’d been traveling for so long and had experienced so much…

I don’t need to shadow ball a dress display and you don’t need to magic a restaurant,” Aviabra tried to say, and Rhienne wasn’t sure if this was her optimism speaking or if she really was genuinely trying to make this out like none of this was a bad thing. Rhienne knew Aviabra knew better of the things they had experienced before.
”The mall? You’re trying to compare this place to the mall,” the witch leered, looking down at Aviabra as they had started walking, the psychic was adamant that they were going to make the most of this trip since they were there.
”Why does something bad have to happen everywhere we go? I know that’s what you’re thinking. So is this going to be a waste of time, or are we going to just sit here and wait for the next bad thing to happen,” Aviabra snapped back after a moment, turning to look at Rhienne. Rhienne was honestly a bit shocked, stopping in their walking as she looked down at the Medicham. She might have expected something like that from Wattson, but from Aviabra? It was obviously a recurring thought for her, she knew that it wasn’t going to be easy for her to move past her comment at the fair…
”Aviabra…,” Rhienne tried to say, but the psychic wasn’t having it.
”What happened? Why can’t you just have fun any more? Why does everything have to have a reason, be calculated, and serve some kind of purpose? I know a lot of scary stuff has happened to us, but why does that mean we have to let that get in the way of stuff like this? We used to do a lot of stuff just because, and sometimes it was dangerous and it didn’t matter, and we’re still here too so I don’t know why that changes anything, we’re strong and can take care of ourselves, you didn’t used to be so afraid, and…,” Aviabra started, and then she began to just rant, these thoughts of hers having been piling up for a while and it all just came to a head. Everything she was saying was right, but Rhienne had to stop her before they both got terribly mad at each other.

The two of them were finally quiet in that moment, staring intently…

As the workers remained in the Petting Zoo area, and caring for the young fossils currently in the open area. The staffers were taking the down time, and using it to not only feed, but play with the young Pokémon. One of the staffers was wading through the shallow waters sprinkling in food, as well as hand feeding the baby fossils as needed. While the other care taker was toying with the small group he collected, having them chase him around, or petting and rolling around with the little babies to keep them entertained. Some seemed to be very excited to play along while others sat by and watched the others play or napped. While the staffers enjoyed their time, they heard the sound of the mist sanitizers going off, so the playing staffer did what he could to calm the babies so that they didn't get too riled up for the guests. However, after the allotted time, the doors never opened and a guest didn't emerge. The staffer in the land area moved towards the doors and found that there was no one inside, and the mist continuously ran. He looked back to the fellow staffer with a shrug, as lights in the paddock began to flicker and shut off. This wasn't too terrible for the Pokémon, seeing as there was no roof and it was a clear day. The staffers didn't think too much until they began to hear the sound of an engine starting to power up. They weren't sure what they were hearing until the currents in the manmade beach began to work in over drive, starting pick up the Clamperl and other water-based Pokémon and sweep them around the waters. The staffer tried to catch the Pokémon and fish them out into safety as the waters suddenly receded, only to came rushing back upon the staffer, washing her back up onto the land with her arms full of clamperl and shellder. She sat up stunned from her experience as the beach began to over flow and start to flood. The two staffers decided to report the strange occurrence and close down the Petting zoo so they can get the young fossils to safety in their nightly enclosures just in case while the Paddock began to go under maintenance. Outside of the front doors a hologram of the red prohibition sign showed on the doors keeping them locked and notifying the guests that the petting zoo was closed. |
