 Situated on the Southernmost part of Melemele Island, Hau’oli City is a coastal city that rests on the edge of the island. Hau’oli is the biggest city or settlement on Melemele island and one of the biggest cities in Alola. This is mostly due to the fact that Hau’oli is used as a port to get to Melemele, and even Alola, and therefore many, many tourists end up here. The Tourist Bureau can be found in Hau’oli where all tourists come to register as travelers of the region, gain more information and because it is located in Hau’oli’s shopping district. The shopping district is famous for its high volume and concentration of shops and goods both local and imported, and is located right on the beach on Southern Melemele which is a hot spot for beach goers both local and traveling alike. The trainer’s school can be found here on the outskirts of the city to the east, along with many other amenities and sights, making for one of the busiest places in the Alola Region.  {Tracie Martell || Cute Contest Leader (Click)} Tracie Martell is probably one of the most famous Contest leaders in Alola, and yet, no one really knows what she actually looks like as a man. She most recently won a season of a well known drag show, though some believe another contestant was robbed, which even she jokes about. She spends her nights out doing drag shows, or working events as Tracie. Her drag look isn't usual, and definitely started a trend amongst some. She does what she can to look like a living Barbie Doll, but with out any surgeries. Only with make up. She does a show almost every night, and despite being known as not a good dancer, she works her shows and dances into her shows a much as she can. While her Pokemon are to young to be awake during her drag shows, she teaches what she can to help them dance with her and be a part of her contest shows. She is well known for her comedy and quick wit, as well as her look. She often enjoys making the contests fun as they are cute. She loves a good banter amongst competitors, but usually seems to come out on top. She's been known to go out with other leaders, as well as opponents for fun or even just a dinner, but as Tracie. She seems to have a secret identity almost. Some believe that she's a well known Gym Leader from another region, or maybe someone rich and powerful. But no one really knows. He assumed it would be Kukui on stage to kick things off, and to avoid the line of sight from the stage they moved into the crowd and busied themselves playing a few of the games that were open prematurely. The first game Jasper actually played was an island variation of bowling. One would roll a coconut towards a collection of pineapples with the intent of knocking down as many as you could. It wasn't like actual bowling in the sense that you needed more luck to win this game than skill.
Jasper held the coconut, looking around to see who was watching, and then threw it without caring much how many of the targets he knocked down. It made sense that he only knocked down two bowling pins. Lucky and Rex snickered at his expense - which he let slide - and accepted the two tickets offered to him. He started walking again and the other two followed after him. |

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE There were so many people walking around that it was obvious not only locals from the surrounding Islands had come, but that Trainers from other Regions had been arriving for days. While the other two were excited about the games, rides, and everything else, Jasper was looking around for any lurking Officers. He knew they had to be here somewhere, keeping an eye out for him. There was a stage, but nobody was standing on it. He felt sure Kukui would be up there to kick things off eventually - he always had to be the center of attention.
Many of the games had opened up early to cash in on those who had showed up before the opening of the event. Rex and Lucky both wanted to play all of the games. Jasper watched them, and did not join in until they pestered him. He knew they just wanted him to have some fun, but he wished they'd just leave him alone. Finally he relented and chose a game that looked easy enough.
The idea of this game was to roll a coconut at a collection of pineapples and knock them down. It was supposed to be a variation of bowling, but it required more luck than skill. For one, the Coconut wasn't perfectly round and could therefore roll in any direction. He threw it without paying much attention, only knocking down two of the pineapples and accepting the two tickets offered to him with something less than interest. They snickered at him for his poor performance - which he allowed - and then followed their leader into the crowd.

She knew the fox wasn't use to her full potential yet, and she didn't want her to find it on accident. However, Delphine looked back with narrow eyes and gave a few extra waves in defiance. This act earned her one of Amma's famous glares that even cuts through Ridley. She pulled out one of her wood spoons and slapped it against her ghostly had while looking at the Fox. Del immediately dropped her large ears and coward down, recoiling her staff to herself in fear of getting smacked with the spoon. Ridley let out a laugh as she began to walk without looking. She turned her head around just in time to see the teen that was now directly in front of her after her. Ridley collided with the male's shoulder, and her long legs caught onto one of his causing her to stumble forward. Ridley scoffed as she took her forced steps, though she never fell to the ground. She stood back up and looked back at the teen. "What where you're going, Kid." Ridley spat annoyed with a toss of her hair. She took a moment to adjust her dress, and situate it back where it was. The dress itself didn't have much structure to it, and it didn't help that she only had a swim suit under neath. Ridley looked back to her Pokemon that began to move around the male, as Amma glared at her, disapproving of how she treated the teen. Ridley rolled her eyes, pulling out her sun glasses, as she quickly eyed over the teen, and the Mega Gardevoir. That wasn't a normal choice for a teenage boy. "Isn't that a weird choice you to to make? Training a Gardvoir?" Ridley asked as she turned back to the male, running her fingers through her hair. "At least his Gardevoir is normal, and Mega." The brunette illusion commented. This comment earn a stifled laugh from the Jynx. The Gardevoir Ridley managed to make a deal with in the Enigmatic tower, to catch her and help battle darkrai and get her out in exchange for the way to Darkrai. "Ours, Evanora, looks like a 100 year old hag." The Delphox answered for the male and Gardevoir. " Delphine" The Mismagius called out in a stern tone, to which the Fox apologized. First she ran into him, then she acted like she wanted to hit him because she ran into him, then she questioned him about his choice in Pokemon, and now she was asking him about his business as casually as though they were talking about the weather. She was an oddity to him, but she intrigued him all the same. "Oh, someone told me about the festival. Figured I'd check it out." He replied, running his fingers nervously through his hair. "Were you going there too?" Stupid, stupid, they had just mentioned they were going to the beach. Of course they weren't going to the festival.
Mentally scolding himself near as bad as his alter ego was, he nevertheless stood firmly and acted as though he hadn't just said something stupid. Lady was watching the other Pokemon though, rather enjoying their collective style. Sure, Seel and Lapras were beautiful Pokemon, but they weren't Humanoid like herself. They couldn't understand the importance of fashion. "I love your dresses." She spoke telepathically to the Pokemon - including the Sirene which she recognized at once as a Pokemon. Thomas hadn't made the realization, but she was pretty informed about what was going on around them at all times.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE The trio of men participated in and played the games to help them blend in. Nothing was more suspicious than a gathering of men who lurked and glared at everyone passing them. That would have gotten them discovered in a heartbeat. That being said, Magnus could tell that Rex and Lucky were enjoying themselves more than they would admit. They wanted to come here to have fun. He wanted to take advantage of the foolish locals and tourists with their guard down.
The next game he played was one where you had to throw beanbags at a slanted board and try getting them in the holes. Well he managed to get the bags in the holes, but they were the lower numbered holes which meant he got less tickets than he would have with the higher numbered holes. He accepted the tickets, but he really wasn't worried about them. Most likely they would be dropped when he got bored and decided to leave, only to be picked up by some excited kid who couldn't believe their luck.
His eyes seemed drawn, like magnetism, towards someone intently focused on throwing balls at stacks of coconuts. Rex and Lucky knew what to do, each walking up and standing on either side of the kid and getting their own balls to throw at their own coconut towers. This would make it more difficult for the person running the games to spot Jasper walking up behind them and reaching a hand into the kid's jacket pocket. Bingo! He came away with a Pokeball! Empty Pokeballs were usually in bags, but Pokeballs that had something in them... Trainers almost always kept those on their person.
He had no idea what was in this new Pokeball. He wasn't about to try finding out right now, though. He walked off towards another game, knowing his boys would find him as soon as they finished their games (to keep their covers intact). |

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE The others caught up with him shortly after, flashing tickets and grinning stupidly at him. "Did you get it?" Rex asked. Lucky smacked him over the head, and Rex turned a furious look at him. "What was that for?!" Jasper rolled his eyes, turning away from them and starting to walk. If these two didn't stop being so stupid, they were going to bring the local Officers raining down on them. He couldn't allow that to happen.
He lead them both behind a game stand so they wouldn't be overheard or overseen. "Look. You two need to get your shit together, do you understand me?" They both looked uncomfortable, but nodded. "Good. This is the third Pokemon I've stolen in a week; there's no going back from this. As soon as this festival is over we'll be out of here on a plain to the mainland. It will be easy to blend in with these idiots." He gestured broadly to the crowd. "We just have to avoid being grabbed before this thing ends. So stay calm, blend in, play some games. If we get separated then meet up at the airport in three days."
Both Rex and Lucky nodded. They seemed more relaxed now that they had a contingency plan and an idea of what they would do next. They went back to the fun and played some more games. Jasper actually did very well at a game which involved placing golf balls in a shovel and flinging them into a bucket. He managed to sink five out of six, only just missing the big prize. He wasn't in this for prizes, but he wouldn't say no to free shit either. Perhaps when this was over he would treat himself to the festival's five-finger-discount. |

In the past, she had liked those of Copper and felt neutral to the woman called Vanessa. But with the hateful spirit Ezra had, the evil energy Alec had around him, as well as the foreboding and eerie energy Phineas had... The ghost wasn't every afraid to be vocal about someone she didn't like or trust. The Gardevoir, she was a very welcoming feeling. She seemed happy, but with the teen, it was different. He seemed inherently good, and that was clear. But there seemed to be something else there that bothered the ghost, but she couldn't put a clothed finger on it... She complimented their dresses which was received differently through the three younger Pokemon, at least compared with Amma. Delphine's face dropped before looking away, really the only Pokemon around not wearing a dress or any strange article of clothing. But, Jessica responded first. "Thank you, that's very nice of you to say. Your dress is very lovely as well." The Jynx spoke, shifting her weight, bringing her purple up to the small of her back as she spoke. Themyscira how ever took it offensively. She looked down at her illusion, mini skirt and halter top. Not a dress, but the comment was directed at her as well. She was visibly annoyed that the Gardevoir could see through it. The Pokemon was a psychic type for the god's and goddess' sakes. She was a dark type, how could her illusions faulter to the likes of a Gardevoir? She was mega evolved, so there was that.The Sirene knew she had to be getting rusty. Sirene crossed her arms across her stomach, and turned her body away from the psychic, but kept her head facing her, her illusion followed as well. "Thanks" She replied calmly, The illusion brushed part of her long brown hair over her shoulder. She was sure the psychic meant for it to be a genuine compliment, and the Sirene was usually pretty laid back, but the idea of her illusions faultering unnerved her. UNTIL THE DAY I DIE Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dumb, more commonly known as Jasper's companions who follow him around like lost puppy dogs, weren't doing a very good job of laying low. They were having fun with the games as he'd suggested, but they were having a bit too much fun if you asked him. They laughed a bit too loud, celebrated a bit too excitedly when they won a handful of tickets, and drew a bit too much attention to them for his liking. Still, they were here. They might as well make the most of a shitty situation. "We should already be on a plane out of here." He muttered to himself, too quietly for either of them to hear. Having fared so well the first time playing this golf ball game, he figured he'd try again. Apparently it was just luck that had given him so many points the previous game, because four out of six of the golf balls missed the bucket. The two tickets joined the others in his pocket and they went back the way they had come. Now that the victim of his thieving nature had gone off, he wanted to try his hand at the coconut game. Besides, the unsuspecting loser probably wouldn't realize anything was wrong until much later.
Speaking of later, it would only be a matter of days before he found himself in a new Region. He would get to Hoenn and find her. Anyone who got in his way would be beaten to the ground. When he found her... she would pay for what she'd done to him, and she would be dragged back to Alola to be with him in his twisted image of a family. Whether she liked it or not.

The Gardevoir did see nice, Jessica new they were not only for their grace and beauty but they were pleasant company. At least, all but their own. This Gardevoir seemed pleasant, at least Jessica and Amma thought so. Delphine was still upset about being ignored twice, while Themyscira was still a little thrown off by having her illusion seen through. The shiny Gardevoir nodded and curtsied in thanks to Jessica. There wasn't much else to really be said after that, she only needed in response. However, the conversation then turned to Delphine as the Gardevoir picked up on leaving out the Delphox. It took a second for the Delphox to notice she was directing at her as she looked to her. Delphine smiled to her. "Thank you" She said, emphasizing her words now that she wasn't being ignored. UNTIL THE DAY I DIE One coconut came crashing from the leftmost stack, knocked off by a ball. Jasper stared at it in frustration. Why was he doing so poorly? He was not a person who liked to lose, and these games were making a fool of him in front of his crew. He glared down at the two remaining balls before winding back and letting one of them fly. It collided with the middle coconut in the right stack, knocking both that one and the one perched atop it to the ground.
Well, that was better at least. He threw the last remaining ball; just like the one before it, it hit the center coconut which felled the one above it. It wasn't perfect, but at least he wasn't missing entirely. He could hold his head high as he collected the tickets given to him. Rex and Lucky played as well - Rex managed to knock over six of the nine coconuts, but Lucky only got to four. "Let's move on." He suggested, but it was really more of an order and they all knew it.
While they were having their fun and games, a nearby Officer was watching him suspiciously. He looked like the wanted posters drawn up by Jenny... but he couldn't be sure. For now he would follow, keep himself hidden and unseen, tail the suspect. If he became clear... if he could only hear the name... then he would move in for the take-down. |

Only three were left standing. The first time he'd tried this, even though he hadn't really been trying, he'd only hit two of them. He was trying now. If he lost now, it would actually be on his head. There would be nothing else he could blame his failures on at that point... not that he wouldn't find someone to blame it on anyway. Nothing was really ever his fault in his mind.
Rex grinned back at their boss. "You made them pineapples your b**ch!" Lucky nodded, agreeing. Just like with the last game, Rex and Lucky both tried their hand at this game after their Boss. Neither one of them could even get close to his score. They accepted their respective number of tickets and moved on. "Hey, Magnus?" Good, he was smart enough to use the pseudo-name Jasper had chosen for moments when real names could get them into trouble.
"Yeah?" Jasper asked in response, not even turning around to look at who had spoken.
Rex did not speak for a moment. After a wait, he finally figured out how to word what he was trying to say and opened his mouth only to be interrupted by Lucky. "I think we're being followed." Magnus had to use every bit of resolve he possessed not to turn on the spot and look for himself. That would give them away. He closed his eyes and inhaled before nodding and continuing to walk. "I'll keep an eye on him to be sure, but it looks like an undercover Cop." Well f**k, that wasn't good news.

"It's nice to meet you" Amma greeted with her heavy New Orleans accent. She may not fully understand the situation Thomas was in, but he was being kind so she owed him the same. Delphine, Jessica, and Themyscira walked along side the Gardevoir. The Sirene kept her mouth should as they walked, she still wasn't happy that someone could see through her illusions, but the Gardevoir was friendly so she paid attention to what she was saying. Sirenes were a proud species and were regarded for their dangerous behaviors and skills. While Themyscira wasn't exactly trying to hunt or kill, she still didn't like that the Gardevoir could see through her skills. The psychic commented on their strength, and asked about if they were able to collect any badges. "Yeah, we've been in the league for a while. We have like.... Uhhhh" the Delphox explained, knowing she's been out traveling with Ridley for a while. However she never really kept track at how many badges they had. After their horrific ball, Darkrai's tower, and now that demon. Delphine couldn't keep track. Jessica picked up for Del, as she walked, her hips naturally swayed alluringly. "We have 8 badges. But, we've have traveled around, so we have 4 from Hoenn and 4 from Kalos." Jessica explained. As she did, The illusion Themyscira was wearing turned to look at her, listening. The sirene had only been around for one gym battle, so she actually had no idea how many badges they actually had. Imagine the stories they could share if only they both knew the other had been a victim of Darkrai's death-trap of a tower. They had shared those experiences, though Thomas had left a little more worse the wear than she had. With this strong of a team, it wasn't likely she'd had much trouble there at all. However, as such a topic was unlikely to come up, Thomas busied himself coaxing her to continue talking about herself. In his experience, popular girls preferred to talk more about themselves than they liked to listen. "It's nice to meet you." He said to Ridley, then turned to look at the others. "All of you."
Now he could see the rides and games, he could tell that this was going to be a very interesting day.
Lady nodded her head at his words, pleased he was being so polite to her new friends. Of course he liked their Trainer. Everyone here could tell that, even her. That didn't mean he had to be an idiot, or become a rude person because of it. "It sounds like you've been to many amazing places, and seen many interesting things." She replied to the other Pokemon, not really reading their minds but picking up on feelings and emotions, catching glimpses and images of things they had been through. She was good with feelings, and could tell that Sirene wasn't very pleased with her.
"That's amazing, if you keep collecting at that rate then you'll have all of them before you know it!" She told them, and then fell back a few steps, keeping pace with the unfamiliar Pokemon. "I am sorry for upsetting you. Since I evolved the last time, I've been able to see and do many things I couldn't before. If I'm being honest, it can be overwhelming sometimes. I'm sure your illusions are very powerful." She was trying to keep everyone happy, despite the fact that many Pokemon - in her experience - weren't very welcoming to newcomers.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE Thomas found himself back at the beanbag toss game. He wasn't even paying attention to what he was playing when he stepped up, accepting the beanbags and tossing them at random. In fact, he had such poor focus that two of his beanbags didn't even make contact with the slanted board. They had fallen short instead. He was too busy worrying about the fact that someone was following them. He knew someone was tailing them because every stall they stopped at, Lucky reported that the tail stopped at one only a few stalls away. When they moved, he moved. He was sure it was a cop, it just had to be a cop. Who else would give a damn who they were outside of Kukui? If this guy made a move, Jasper would lash out with no mercy. He would kill the guy if he had to, to escape. "Be ready to act if I say so." He ordered. The other two nodded that they understood and would be ready. Jasper threw his final beanbag and was surprised when it landed in the hole marked '4'. That meant four more tickets to add to his steadily growing collection. What were the prizes for these things, anyway? They had to be able to turn these tickets in for cheap gifts, right?

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE His current status of 'losing and pretending like it didn't matter' continued into ladder golf. Of the two rope-bound golf balls one fell to the floor without making contact, and the other wrapped around the top peg but came free with it's momentum and fell to the floor. He couldn't get their tail out of his mind and it was starting to really piss him off. If he wasn't fighting to keep control of himself, he would have turned around and punched the guy right in his stupid face. He hadn't even turned to look at whoever it was, not wanting to give them a good enough look at his face to move in for the kill. He couldn't release his Pokemon for the attack, because the stolen Litten would give him away. Hell, did they know about the stolen Stufful and Sandygast yet? He wasn't sure. That left Turtonator for when things went down... although if things went wrong enough, it wouldn't matter if he used stolen Pokemon in his escape. |

Beggers can't be choosers though, especially in this instance, peering out a window from the plane as she passed by row after row of seats to see authorities starting to stir in this part of the city and move towards the direction she had come from. She was going to get out of this region for the time being, even if it meant having to fly in coach with other people... She by now had amassed quite the wealth for herself in her ranking in Team Cipher, and never mind that beforehand she had been doing just as well for herself in her gambling and betting. Now a days a typical form of travel for her would be a Cipher sanctioned private jet, or by way of mission travel with her team ready to take on what it was they had been assigned. She would have to grin and bear it though, for the time being at the very least, and she was going to make due. It was free, it was getting her away from Olivine and the Johto Region, and there were enough people on here to make a germaphobe go into shock.
"Must suck to be you guys, have fun sitting in each others laps the whole flight," Calcifer snickered from Demeter's shadow, noting how small the seats were as Loki and Demeter had turned to take the next empty row, but Demeter only huffed and chose to ignore the ghost's ramblings, just trying to reorient and compose herself after having to fight off Admin Frost. There was a lot she needed to consider, knowing that Neo Rocket now knew of her presence in the Johto Region, she would have to be even more guarded now, not just from her own associates. They wouldn't hesitate to come after her should they find her, and that would mean ultimate exposure, and she couldn't have that. She was certain though at least that Neo Rocket would be at fault for the whole operation with Frost left there at the scene as Loki had so graciously taken care of, but that didn't mean that her forces wouldn't buy into every word she said. Demeter, Admin Spade, had made a name for herself it seemed, and while she was intrigued and inspired to know that her work had reached that of other regions and she could be regarded for such a reputable career thus far, that did only make her more of a target. That made her a threat, and that would make them question what she was doing in the Johto Region, and if there were any more Cipher agents running around. That might actually come to her advantage one day if she could play her cards right... But she would save that for a rainy day.
All in all, she considered it a mission success, and as the plane began to ready for departure, she pondered over the Pokeball that she held that now contained the Quanger Program, the asset that she had fought so ruthlessly for. Calcifer and Loki seemed a little less convinced that what they had captured was in fact what they were looking for, and while Demeter hadn't quite seen it yet, she was certain it was the only thing out there for them to find. Minthos would have pointed them in the right direction if they hadn't been able to locate the technology, and certainly would have made it a point to aid in finding it since he had made such a stand to tell Demeter about it in the first place, so she could say she was fairly confident that she now held Rocket technology and intel within her grasp. She was going to bide her time though, she didn't want the program active so soon after having a report thrown out about it, she needed it to lay low just as much as she did now.
It had been a few hours already, and Demeter was able to surmise from the other passengers on the flying can of sardines, that this was all some big to do about the Alola Region opening themselves to the world with an official Pokemon League. She wasn't unfamiliar with the Alola Region, in fact since the Orre Region was much closer to it than many of the other regions, it had become a popular vacation destination for those that could manage to make it. As such, she had visited from time to time for her own vacation needs, and she had never been disappointed. The region itself was beautiful, the islands were fruitful and the water was crystal clear in some of the top beaches in the world, and she had to admit... Going there now didn't sound like such a bad idea? Sure, she had a critical mission that she was working on, but Minthos would notify her about any disturbances or any reports that might show up about the beast Lugia, and she did need to spend just a little bit of time away from the Johto Region... So maybe this would be the perfect way to do it? Apparently Hau'Oli City was having a big festival, one of their normal traditional festivities, but on a much larger scale to acommodate a world wide announcement they had made. That was still all the more perfect, crowds of people would be flooding this place, there was no way that any news about Neo Rocket or Olivine City could follow her there.
Considering the flight time, and when she had boarded the plane in the early evening of Olivine City, it was well into the next morning that Demeter had arrived in Hau'oli City with the rest of the passengers that had boarded the plane, but that had given her plenty of time to make all the necessary preparations for her arrival. She kept her private yacht and other such ammenities in Alola for safe keeping and when she was there for a vacation or otherwise, and had it and her driver scheduled to arrive on the beach of Hau'oli City promptly upon the plane landing. She kept a small wardrobe aboard the vessel with some of her other personal belongings, and made sure that it was going to be stocked with fresh food, and the chef was going to be available. By the time the plane had arrived, all of her arrangements had been set, a small local car there to pick her up and take her to the docks where her yacht had been brought. It took only a bit longer for the vessel to make it from the dock to the beaches of Hau'oli where there were other such boats and party goers lining the shore all as part of the festival taking place, and by that time she had been showered, changed, and was actually ready to take a load off for once. She felt like in all of her work thus far training and moving through the Johto Region, she did have a good reason to take a small break, just for a day or two. She had infiltrated the league well enough already, needed to take care in biding her time between the last two gyms she had to face to make it all seem more viable, and was actually ready to denounce her workaholic state of mind.
It was late morning now, and Demeter was changed and lounging on the front deck of her yacht, having felt as though she wasn't getting enough sun in the more northern climate of the Johto Region. The air was cool and held a constant breeze, there were giant scattered clouds in the otherwise clear blue sky, and she had to admit, the ambiance of the festival lining every street and walkway was kind of nice. She had music playing on her own vessel, much like that of the others that lined the water around her where other patrons were swimming, going to and from the beach, jumping into the water, and just having a grand old time for themselves. It seemed that most of the other vessels were more local boats and katamarans than they were private yachts or at least they did on the side of the beach she had ended up on. There were other, much larger, boats in the near distance behind them, but she wanted to be beach front, maybe in case she felt the need to go into the festival. She had heard something about games, food, fanciful prizes, and if she had maybe had her fill of lounging and sunning, she might take a look. There were also battle tournaments going on she heard too, and she could never turn down some competition in anything.
With everything settled, Loki and Calcifer remained out on her yacht with her, Loki preferring his human persona though that didn't inhibit him getting some sun for his fur as he laid out on the deck with her, though the ghost preferred to stay inside more out of spite. She also released the Nidoking that she had with her, after having had him treated she felt as though some positive reinforcement for his efforts was in order, and she let him swim around in the waters around her yacht. The poison type had a fancy for water for some reason or another, but she also knew that he would be a good security detail, just in case. Lastly, Lucero the Quilava was out from his ball, spiteful as always, but it seemed that even he could take a liking to endless sun and a nice space for him to lay out, and a fresh plate of hand prepared food just for him. "Phineas, come with me, we can make it there faster if I travel," the dark type insisted, shifting in the air on her wings as Scarux grumbled at the notion that she could in fact fly faster and longer than he could.
"Oh fine, rub our noses in it why don't you," the dragon growled, having never quite been appreciative of her awesome power, especially when she wasn't afraid to show it off, but he knew that this was important and he knew Finn would have his wings for compromising anything about one of their teammates. Scarux moved through the air, close enough for Finn to jump from his back and switch mounts to Bade's neck, and he was returned to his Pokeball as Finn situated on the wyvern.
"Be weary, we're going to travel in a way that humans don't experience in their lifetime," Bade cautioned, but Finn didn't need any explanation, he knew enough about Bade and what she was to the world to know that she, like other supernatural beings, could exist on a plane far beyond what any one human would know and understand. He knew that she was capable of some ethereal form of travel, something akin to inter dimensional if he had to put a name to it, she had to be with the forces of nature that she dealt with and needing to keep an eye out for things of this very nature. Instead of giving any confirmation, Finn only made sure he was settled on Bade's neck before the wyvern started to move with her wings, shifting in the air and turning herself to head south as she had mentioned before. With a few forceful flaps of her clawed wings, it seemed that the tips of her claws began to rip into the very fabrics of reality around them, and Finn did well to brace himself against the wyvern's skin as she moved through the tattered remains of the blue sky that surrounded them. Within seconds, there were no clouds, no ocean beneath them, no blue skies or rushing winds, it was all gone, and in its place instead was an astral plane. He sometimes forgot what Bade was to the world, what kind of power she really did hold and what it was that she did for the lives on Earth, and in the split seconds that he had to look around at this plane of existence, it was like a sea of endless stars, but beneath them were orbs it seemed, lights of some kind that were all moving in one distinct direction. As fast as they had entered this plane, they were gone as Bade ripped through her familiar reality and came out into blue skies and clouds once more. Finn hadn't realized that he'd been holding his breath until he coughed at her stopping in the air, lofting on her giant wings. He felt both touched and honored to have been graced with such a vision, for Bade to trust him, a mere human, enough to bring him into her dimensional plane, if only for that brief moment, and as many questions as he had, he knew it would be best to remain respectful of her. If she ever felt it time or necessity to share with him what he had seen, he would graciously and humbly take her explanations, but for now he would cherish it as a memory that he knew not many, if anyone, would ever be able to share with him.
Lofting in the air, Finn glanced down around them through the blue skies, and found an island beneath them, and if he knew his cartography at all, he could say that they were now over a series of islands known as the Alola Region. He was a seasoned traveler, and his ship and crew had visited this place many a time for its acclaimed markets and of course for those trade ships that might pass through for such a fruitful place, but that was neither here nor there.
"The witch is here," Finn breathed, still unsure of what it was Bade was after in bringing them here, or where to find the Mismagius.
"Her energy is here, there is a growing gathering of humans here, and a parasite like her feeds off of as many souls as she can gather," Bade huffed, her blue eyes sharp as she looked around in the clouds and blue sky, but not being able to find a physical trace of her.
"You need to protect the humans here, search for her through those souls. I will remain up here to cut her off if I can," Bade mentioned, and Finn understood then that they needed to split up for now, and attempt to cover more ground. This at least he felt like was something more active than waiting for Bade's word. Knowing the witch was here, and that she could be anywhere, ready to claim her next victim, Finn would be ready for her if he caught sight of her.
"Aye, she'll be ready for the gallows when I catch sight of her," Finn agreed, taking out a Pokeball then and releasing Scarux back into the air. The red dragon huffed at the quick trip, but realized they were not in the same air space that they had been just moments ago, but didn't feel the need to question it.
"We're here to make land. That doxie of a witch could be anywhere," Finn called as he leaped from Bade's neck and made another swift change to Scarux's back, and with that he let the wyvern off as he and Scarux made their way towards the ground below. It only took a few moments though for Finn to realize that Bade wasn't kidding about a large growing gathering of humans, it seemed the entire southern side of Melemele Island was teeming and swarming with people in some sort of festival the closer he got. He knew the islands to be festive and welcoming, but this seemed to be on a much larger scale.
Taking care in finding a safe place to land, Scarux touched ground within the crowded streets of Hau'Oli City, and Finn dismounted seconds after. He glanced around with his sharp green eyes, unsure of where the witch might strike, but come hell or high water he was going to find her and make her pay for what she had done to Vitus. Knowing he would need Scarux for power, he kept the dragon beside him, but took out another Pokeball to release Archimedes. Again, the water type's affinity for the supernatural that was a part of him would prove useful in attempting to locate the witch, and he wasn't going to spare any expense in trying to find her.
"The witch is here to target this gathering, there's too many souls here for something like her to ignore," Finn mentioned, letting Archimedes know what it was they were doing in such a crowded and populated area.
"Aye captain. We'll keep a steady vigil," Archimedes nodded, understanding that it was imperative to find the witch before she might cause mass panic and hysteria in a crowd of susceptible humans, and with that Finn began to move through the people with Scarux and Archimedes beside him, bent on finding that Mismagius. He mumbled mutinously under his breath when the first one missed, but the second throw wrapped itself - quite snugly actually - around the lower rung of the makeshift ladder. That meant good points, that lower rung. Despite his miss, he accepted his four tickets and looked around (carefully so as to avoid giving their tail a good look at him). "What did I tell you!" Lucky said with a grin. Jasper responded by rolling his eyes and moving into the crowd. His boys stayed close to him so they wouldn't lose him too early. If he felt they had left him to the wolves, they knew there would be hell to pay.
